I knit the Fossil Frenzy Cowl by Mary P Hunt and it was a very very good decision.

Fleur Isle Knit Cowl
The Fleur Isle Knit Cowl is impressive in person. The detail and even the butterflies that immerge in the pattern are neat.
The centre of this cowl was a bit tricky for me as I was using two colours very close to each other in dim light. OMG, the words I was using weren’t family-friendly. But I got through it and wished I had bigger colour…

Finally finished this Dragon Tale Cowl by HuntHandKnits! It’s my first real knit project and first time with actual color work besides really minimum color changes in amigurumi and stuff. Definitely had some mistakes but the dragon turned out and that’s all I care about! I’m in love 😍

Heck yes it stands up! I didn’t know if it would; I didn’t think the stockinette was dense enough to make up for the airy lace. (You work the heavy yarn and the light yarn on the same needles. Needle. It’s a circular needle.)
Scaffolding Cowl.
(My favorite part of this is that sometimes, when you have a lace collar and it has stiffness/stands up, it makes the whole thing look very creature-like. I am not sure Mrs Hammersley would enjoy my ah-great-you-look-like-a-creature take on her dress if it were possible for me to convey it, but to me, it’s sort of fascinating. Dragonflies’ wings. Godzilla. Perfectly normal reaction to a dress. Anyway, bemused by the lace realizations, happy the structural part of the knitted thing worked.)

I've got two more finished projects today, though both were finished being knit before this and just waiting on final touches.
Leafy Leaf cowl! This one was finished a few days ago, but was waiting on being blocked. It took a bit to dry because it's winter here, but I'm so proud of how it turned out. This is only about 2 1/2 repeats of the 5 I'd wanted because I ran out of yarn. I onky had one ball of this yarn, and it was more important to me to make it wider (30" ish instead of the 20 ish inches the pattern wanted) than it was to make it taller. Very fun though, I'll likely make another one eventually.
Goldenrod hat! With edits though. This one has been finished for weeks, but was waiting on a pom pom. I was going to do a homemade one, but couldn't get it looking quite like I wanted, so it gets a faux fur one instead. It's removable though!

I’m not going to lie, I was attracted to the guy modelling this. So he got my interest. This cowl is fabulous. The stitchwork is fantastic, and I enjoyed working through it. This is the Fair Isle Knit Cowl.
This cowl is in 24″ and 31″ circumference sizes. So you can be loose like him or tight like her!
