Ninon Okamura is a high school student who likes to walk around with a parrot on her should. Other students think the parrot is a stuffed animal, but it is a real parrot. Ninon Okamura doesn't have any friends at school. Meanwhile, Yuiji Kira is Ninon Okamura’s classmate. He enjoys his school days harassing other students and dating various girls, but his secret is that he is terminally ill and he only has a year to live.

Ninon Okamura and Yuiji Kira live next door to each other, but they have not talked with each other at school. Ninon Okamura learns from her parents that Yuji only has a year to live. One day, Yuiji Kira tells Ninon Okamura that he doesn't want to die and he doesn't to be alone. Ninon Okamura tells him that she will be by his side until he dies.

Based on manga series "Kyo no Kira kun" by Rin Mikimoto (published from September 13, 2011 to August 11, 2014 in Japanese shojo manga magazine Bessatsu Friend).

Nijiiro Days Gets Live-action Film, Premieres in Summer 2018

An official website and Twitter account for the live-action film based on Minami Mizuno's Rainbow Days (Nijiiro Days) manga opened on Tuesday. The film is slated to premiere in Japan in summer 2018.

Ken Iizuka (live-action Arakawa Under the Bridge) is directing the film and Rika Nezu (Saint Young Men) is writing the screenplay. Filming will take place from mid-October to November.

Kyo no Kira-kun (きょうのキラ君) live action movie (Although I enjoyed the movie basically for both cute actors ...gotta say that is a bit poor adaptation... not a bad one...but they just made it easy not telling whole story just cutting many stuff ..like I said ..not a bad adaptation because all is like in manga but still not as good as I expected ...suggest u all watch it for both actors work here..they both look completely fine together and match perfect their Roles) Ninon Okamura (Marie Iitoyo ❤ ) is a high school student who likes to walk around with a parrot on her should.
