For Day 16 of the event, I used number 24 from prompt 18 for Ronaldo and Draluc from The Vampire Dies in No Time! I absolutely adore this series and I hope any other fans will enjoy 😊
Tumblr media
If social media existed in the character’s universe, would they be on it? Which platform(s)?
I definitely do think that social media exists within this world and that both of the characters do use it. Draluc is honestly more skilled at using it than Ronaldo is, despite what people would assume (which is the exact opposite).
I do think that Ronaldo set up Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts for the Ronaldo Agency. They’re there to hopefully spread news about the agency out there, to get more attention and jobs and they do work well enough before Draluc shows up but aren’t really as effective as they could be.
It’s really because Ronaldo isn’t someone who is really great with technology. It’s just not his forte; he can think of catchy posts and words things really well but he’s terrible with photography and the actual use of the apps.
When Draluc comes along and joins the Agency, he really steps in and takes over running the social media aspect. Draluc is good with most mobile apps, has more free time to actually dedicate to making posts, but he has a hard time thinking about what to post related to the Agency, so it really is a cooperative effort.
On top of the Agency’s social media, both Ronaldo and Draluc have Facebook accounts, like nearly 90% of the population. Ronaldo uses his a lot more than most of his other social media accounts, just because it’s the easiest platform to use. Draluc barely ever uses his, except to keep up with his family.
Ronaldo also has a twitter account, and he has a TikTok account. He hasn’t really posted much on his TikTok because again, he’s bad at that kind of stuff but he’s guilty of opening up TikTok because he has some time to kill and then falling down the rabbit hole and the next thing he knows, three hours are gone, oops. I feel like if Ronaldo found tumblr, he’d actually be really into this site and would be able to get the hang of the simplicity of liking and reblogging and making occasional posts of his own.
Draluc has a Twitch account and streams frequently. He honestly does have accounts on all major social media but uses Twitch and Discord the most.
Another joint account the Draluc and Ronaldo run together? John’s TikTok and Instagram accounts.

For anyone who doesn't know and is curious about Ronaldo/Ronald's real name:
In the Official Fanbook 2, it was revealed to be 木下 日出男 (KINOSHITA HIDEO), which means his actually English name would be Dawnman Underwood(Woodbottom). And also that he's the only O in his family, with his brother being Hiyoshi and his lil' sis being Himari.
The reason I decided to share this now has absolutely nothing to do with Season 2 being launched. I’ve just got this cursed thought stuck in my head for a while and REEEEEALLY wish someone would do something with it.

Someone on fandom wiki confirmed Ronaldo's real name to be this:
Tumblr media
But eh, I prefer "Hideki Kaneda" as the biological name I always remember ever since I got into Kyuushi and DoraRona. Plus it was more simple and fitting, except for his surname as it was named after a producer and director involved in Persona Q duology.
Though at least my mental guesses on his intials were right.´・ᴗ・`
Tumblr media
Screw it, in a headcanon I recently made, maybe his older brother Hiyoshi change Ronaldo's real name from the biodata, as to ease his distressing memories of getting ridiculed and abused by their parents after leaving them behind from an outburst. Hideo is probably the name of Ronaldo's actual father.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe like this:
𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨'𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞:𝐐 (𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐤𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐚)→ Ronaldo's current name (Hideo Kinoshita)

Yusuke Kawazu and Keiko Kishi in The Snow Flurry (Keisuke Kinoshita, 1959) Cast: Keiko Kishi, Yoshiko Kuga, Yusuke Kawazu, Ineko Arima, Chieko Higashiyama, Yasushi Nagata, Masanao Kawakane. Screenplay: Keisuke Kinoshita. Cinematography: Hiroshi Kusuda. Art direction: Chiyoo Umeda. Film editing: Yoshi Sugihara. Music: Chuji Kinoshita. Like so many of Keisuke Kinoshita’s films, The Snow Flurry tells a conventional, melodramatic story while using innovative, even audacious film techniques. It’s a family drama spanning about 18 years, from 1940 to the year the film was made. At the beginning we are watching a wedding procession in one of the long shots that are characteristic of the film, which seems to want to isolate its figures in its mountainous landscape. Suddenly, a young man breaks away from the onlookers and runs away, pursued by a woman. We will learn that they are Suteo (Yusuke Kawazu) and his mother, Haruko (Keiko Kishi), and that the bride is Suteo’s cousin, Sakura (Yoshiko Kuga), but Kinoshita leaves it to us to piece together this information, first by flashing back to 1940, when Haruko, pregnant with Suteo, survived an attempted double suicide with her lover, Hideo (Masanao Kawakane). Hideo’s father, patriarch of the Nagura family, reluctantly takes Haruko into the household, but on a decidedly subordinate status: Once the child is born, the tyrannical old man, a wealthy landowner, goes behind Haruko’s back and officially registers the boy’s name as Suteo, which means “outcast” or “abandoned.” Mother and child live in an outbuilding, take their meals in a separate room from the rest of the family, and are expected to do menial chores. As a boy, Suteo is teased and bullied by other children, but he grows close to his cousin, Sakura, who is the only member of the “legitimate” Nagura clan who shows him kindness. When we return to the scene that opened the film, we understand why he is so distraught at her marriage, and why Haruko runs after him, afraid that he may do himself harm. What distinguishes this rather thin story is Kinoshita’s almost experimental technique in telling it, relying on frequent jump cuts back and forth in time that are initially confusing but have a certain payoff in keeping the story from bogging down in sentimentality, Kinoshita’s usual failing. It also helps that there are some fine performances, especially by the great character actress Chieko Higashiyama as the matriarch, who survives the death of her cruel, apoplectic husband to rule the family with an iron will. She has a great scene in which, learning of Sakura’s engagement, she breaks down in a mixture of laughter and tears – joy that the family lineage will continue, sorrow that it has taken so long to ensure and that it will continue through the female line and not the male. Only 78 minutes long, it’s not a great film but an impressive display of filmmaking skill.

吸血鬼すぐ死ぬ | Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu | The Vampire Dies in No Time (Manga)
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Ronaldo/Draluc (The Vampire Dies in No Time)
Characters: Ronaldo (The Vampire Dies in no Time), Draluc (The Vampire Dies in no Time), John the armadillo, Original Character
Additional Tags: Hurt/Comfort, Consensual Blood Drinking, Blood Drinking, Childhood Friends, Mutual Pining
Summary:
Ever since he started having feelings for Ronaldo, Draluc quit drinking the supplemental blood packs that he was used to. It felt cold and wrong, drinking some stranger’s blood in front of someone you were interested in.
And so, he hungered.  He wanted. He craved Ronaldo’s blood.
Drinking your friend’s blood from a cup was as sacred an act as sharing a promise. Drinking from someone directly was best reserved for those you intended to court.
Draluc’s family assumes that Ronaldo is his donor (and that they’re dating), but once they learn that it’s not the case, they quickly procure another handsome young man as a suitable donor.

Chapter 13: Epilogue
It was an hour before checkout time, and the two men had maybe gotten a few hours of sleep due to their nighttime activities. Draluc had awoken to his alarm, and realized that they had very little time before they needed to check out and get back home to avoid the morning sun. He shook the other man awake.
Ronaldo opened his eyes at the gentle prodding, but reached out for Draluc, dragging him back into his embrace.
Draluc rolled his eyes. “I feed you too well, you don’t need that much stamina”
“Shut up you hedonist psycho, I wasn’t the one screaming for more after the 4th time.” the hunter said with very little disapproval in his voice and a smirk on his face. He couldn’t stop smiling.
Draluc pushed Ronaldo away, and stretched his back like a cat, before realizing the state they had fallen asleep in. Feeling the certain substance trickle out, he rushed to the bathroom. Ronaldo followed so that the two of them could get cleaned up.
 +++
A couple days after the incident, Ronaldo and Draluc had discussed their relationship with Fukuma, and had planned an official press release alongside Ronaldo’s next novel, so that they could put an end to any rumors.
That didn’t stop them from being a shy couple in public, but everyone who knew the two personally breathed a sigh of relief. Ronaldo and Draluc had always been stupidly obivous, and not having to tiptoe around the issue was totally worth it.
About two weeks after Mihai left Japan, he received a fairly large package from Autumn Shoten with a Thank You note from Draluc. He unwrapped it, and sure enough, it was the Limited Edition Vintendo Switch that he had been dying to get his hands on!
He laughed, holding it in his hands carefully. [Babe, you have to come see this!]
Another vampire, who looked about 40 years old in human years, walked into the room holding a half-empty cup of coffee. He had slicked back white hair and glasses with thick, dark librarian frames. He was wearing a golden ring on his left hand.
Underneath his shirt, Mihai was wearing a golden ring on a necklace, too.
Authors Note: AND THAT'S A WRAP!! I apologize for the long wait, and hope that this series was worth it for you guys to read! Thank you so much for all the lovely comments.
I really tried my best on the nsfw scene, though it might have turned out badly, sorry about that.
