I’ve had some thoughts about King lately, especially the tragic and vicious irony of his own life.

a genocide victim, presumably last of his kind, exhausted with loneliness and lack of purpose, he joins Kaido in his ambition. Only to facilitate and enact the same sorrow on the people of Wano, slowly driving them into death and oblivion.

I wonder how much time went by before he realised what Kaido was doing. Not to say Kaido was purposefully exterminating the Wano nation, but actions here are more important that their purpose. I wonder how King dealt with this realisation, what explanations he scrambled to come up with to rid himself of overwhelming guilt. To silence the noise of a never-ending debate inside his head.

He’s been hunted, and now he is the hunter. The man he once deemed to be the one to set this world onto a new beginning. Turning out to be the same old evil of greed.

King is complex like that. He’s horrible, but he is complex and, arguably, in pain.

The baby would BLUSH!! He’s never been told that before and it overwhelms him a bit! Imagine a dog wagging their tail excitedly!! 

He will give you a big hug, telling you how much you mean to him and that he loves you too, even if you didn’t expect to hear anything back!

If you had said it and expected rejection or was crying while saying it, he’s a bit sad and wants to comfort you. like a puppy comforting their owner!

For the rest of the day he will just randomly say he loves you with a giddy grin!

No take backs either, once you say you love him, you are now married forever in his mind!

King is a bit of a distant man, he cares about you a lot, but it’s hard for him to express himself so openly. 

He’ll stay quiet, but pulls you close to his chest to let you feel his heartbeat and know how much your words affected him.

He won’t say it himself. not for a long time and it’s usually when you are busy doing something or fast asleep when he lets the vulnerability out.

He always get this look in his eyes when you say you love him, it’s as if the world had stopped spinning and you are the only two left in it!

Once the time comes though, he will look you dead in the eye and tell you he loves you back, this is when you know for sure without a doubt, you own the man’s heart.
