Day 5- Gummiship

Gummiship…. She doesn’t know what that is, but it’s a word that she’s heard. Those boys, the new ones, the living ones had used the word. They seemed concerned that they arrived here without the gummiship. Perhaps they’d find what they were looking for.

The young woman sighed, hoping that the other teens found their way soon. When she first awoke she hopefully assumed that Chirithy would soon arrive and when he didn’t… she thought that her party would. A search party from her union or the Dandelions. That maybe Aced himself would. Daydreams of a rescue that never came. She clutched the lantern, steps quickening back to the room she frequented. The manor had accepted them, sheltered them, where her Union failed to.

She paused in the dusty room, frowning at the still unmoving warm body that rested on the bed before her. Were her efforts to save them in vain? Their body did not change like hers did, rather than change to match their new world– they simply slept.  She closed her eyes, slowly fading from the room as she hoped that her companion would wake soon. Perhaps they can join the travelers on their gummiship to leave this place.

I wrote down some stuff about my keykid, now one year after KHUx shutdown. Nothing is really set in stone, but it’s the Basics. Preparing myself for Missing Link and all lol

It got quite long and also has some side information about this “canon” I have here. But pretty much all of the UX story happened here in context of what I wrote down for my keykid.  Her name is Aquanort. 

Character Info:

Vulpes

Starlight, Stroke of Midnight, and Counterpoint are her main keyblades

Aro/Ace

Quite the loner, likes to do things alone, appreciates silent company

Selective mute

Hyper focuses on the collection of Lux / battling Heartless

Keeps her thoughts to herself, bottles up emotions

SIde information to this canon: The Foretellers and Union Leaders

The gameplay of khux is canon in here, meaning that medals, jewels, outfit boards, banners are all a thing

They are made by the Foretellers and later by the Union Leaders

It’s not known who among the Foretellers did what, but the Union Leaders were open about it

Brain, Ephemer: Gacha banner distribution, Medal selection

Ephemer, Skuld: Medal attributes (what medal does what etc.), distributing the Quests

Ventus: drawing the outfits

Lauriam: finalizing the outfits, searching for “event heartless” to fight

Brain, Skuld: Jewel distribution

Brain, Lauriam: Spirit parts (obv.)

Yeah people came yelling at them. About everything. Lmao.

Story:

typical RPG trope of "can't remember her past", woke up in Daybreak Town with no memories (i actually only have no clue about a backstory sorry)

just went along with things because she doesn't know what else to do

was pretty average until she got the Bangle from the strange Chirithy

she quickly learned that it apparently collected "dark energy", she questioned that a lot internally, but everyone around her seemed not to care so …

… she also felt like she was one of the few people who actually figured out how to use this Bangle (Guilt / Special Attack Bonus, thanks SENA)

started to dive deeply into the ways of using the power of the keyblade, aka she knows which medal is currently the Real Shit, and handles her jewels smart

This of course fuelt the Guilt gathered and it didn't take her long to see that this is indeed the Power of Darkness all her guildmates were afraid of. But no one really ??? cared or saw ???

anyways she met Ephemer and was just "finally a gay person i can trust" and this is why they are friends. The same goes for Skuld.

the Sewer Squad kinda adopted her because "man she could use some friends you know". She appreciates it, but is wary around them. Doesn’t talk to them much.

Anyways darkness inside her grows because of the collected Guilt and it manifests into the wings she has. They are cool looking and everyone thinks it's an ornament she's wearing. (it's not)

she doesn't want to join the Dandelions because, well. She's aware she's not a light that should carry on. She wonders deeply why Ava asks her in the first place.

She feels her duty is to fight in the keyblade war. She can't be the only one with this darkness gathered from the Bangle!

She is honest to god not surprised to know that the Nightmare Chirithy comes from her. But she wields that darkness better than it and defeats it.

Oh she goes rampage in the keyblade war. Yes she fights other keyblade wielders besides the Foretellers. She's goddamn upset that no one saw this darkness growing inside everyone.

after she got saved by Ephemer and Skuld and forgot the events of the Keyblade War, her mind is a complete jumbled mess and she talks to no one for weeks

She absolutely does not have a drive at all, missing this drive of wanting to fight in the keyblade war. And apparently there wasn’t one! Everything she did felt like a lie.

She sometimes just laid around the fountain square all day like a starfish just to avoid talking to people. She’s really going through it.

Ephemer found her like this one day and she was fucking embarrassed but at least it was Ephemer who talked to her.

to find some purpose again she dived deeply into fighting and Lux collecting

Raid Bosses, special events, etc.

while not having many friends / not greatly known, other keykids came to her to ask her for tips about defeating heartless / other gameplay stuff. She was like some secret tip.

the Union Leaders being aware of this, and because she's friends with Ephemer and Skuld, they let her know about upcoming medals 👀

she was very confused by the Darkling situation, wondering why she hasn't become one yet …

during Wreck it Ralph she thought the Darklings were after her, wanting her to become one of them

anyways Ending Time

finally seeing the actual Darkness, she was pissed af. In her mind, if there should be "one darkness" it should be her alone. (unaware of the actual Darkness plot)

things play out pretty much canon, til only Ephemer, Skuld, and her are left in the Ark room

seeing the helpless situation with the four other Darknesses, and herself being so much darkness already, playing that she got overtaken by one was a given.

Ephemer and Skuld were fucking FURIOUS, the "bad darkness" taking their "good darkness"

she felt so awful about it. Very very awful. But this was the destiny she saw coming eventually. Being a being of darkness, she wanted to use this to her advantage to save her friends. She never was a Dandelion, she never was a light in the first place, but she loved Ephemer and Skuld for accepting her like she was and she wanted to make sure that they could live on.

She thought about becoming a Dream Eater, but considering her state of being more darkness than anything else, she doesn't want to end up being a Nightmare, and instead decides to move on.
