An explosion is what caught the adeptus' attention. It came from the direction of Stone Gate as he plucked his weapon up and heads towards the direction of the noise. Disappearing from his home at Wangshuu Inn he reappeared again at the rider overlooking the underpass.

There he saw a small little child. Wait A CHILD?! Hoping down to the pathway he looked at the adeptus crossed his arms. "Small one tell me what you are doing?"

The disembodied voice had the guard jumping and looking around upon hearing it, but the indirect threat was what had a shiver going up his back. As far as he knew Hu didn't have any siblings, but the lack of body was what had him on edge the most.

@kcrmicdebt asked: The yaksha rarely ever invited a person anywhere. But when he heard his aunt was hosting a kite making class for lantern rite he came to Mondstadt to seek out Klee. Sitting he waited for her to come to him as he he tlt kneels down to her height. "Are in interested in kites?" He questions gently. "My aunt...is hosting a class to make them would you like to join my cousins ?"

Klee wasn't expecting to see Xiao in Mondstadt like that, but oh boy was she happy about it!

"Big Brother Xiao!" the little girl squealed excitedly, running to him and watching him kneel. She found that funny, there was no need but he always wanted to meet her on eye level! Soon he explained what he was there for...and Klee's eyes shined like the most precious jewel in the world "I loooove kites! That would be so much fun!"

"I would love to join with you all!" Archons have mercy, this kid was already so full of energy about it. She already had plans to make the best kite possible!

@kcrmicdebt : The yaksha seemed hesitant to speak what was on his mind. But he knew Zhongli would wish to hear his words rather than guessing them as he fiddled with the sleeve of his outfit. "I was thinking....I could join the festivities this year...for Lantern Rite." He looked away a bit embarrassed. "For a small time.. but I do not wish people to be afraid of my appearance." While he wore the outfit his brother had made him with pride he knew perhaps maybe he needed something new for the occasion. "I was...wondering if you could assist in procuring fabrics or clothing to wear..." his cheeks were tinted with red thinking on the matter. He hated asking such a thing from anyone. (for Zhongli)

It was never the easiest to decipher what was on Xiao's mind, but given his uncharacteristic hesitation Zhongli waited patiently to hear his yaksha's request. Part of him was worried given all that transpired the last time Xiao requested something of him- which in itself was quite rare for Xiao to do- but relief would soon wash over the old god as it was all left out in the open, even getting him to chuckle to himself quietly. For all that Zhongli respected his Conqueror of Demons after many, many years of loyal service he could not shake the thought that here in this moment Xiao did not so much look like the ancient warrior yaksha he was, embarrassment along with his soft features painting the picture of a cute, awkward youth instead.

"When Lantern Rite is a festival which spans over five days, I've no qualms with you attending for a night so long as I am aware of it. We both know the ancient gods and beasts I have sealed stir restlessly during those days and nights, but there are many capable of battling their resentment- including myself. I do believe even my guest would not mind accompanying me to that resting place to get away from the crowds." And there was sparked an interesting thought... but he'd have to discuss it with the man at a later date.

"As for what to wear, I have collected a multitude of fine fabrics over the years all stashed away in my abode in Jueyun Karst. You may feel free to choose whatever is to your liking and I will have them fashioned into an outfit by a talented seamstress I know in Liyue Harbor. I assure you, her work is of the highest quality and it is certain to compliment you well."

It was her first time leaving her home land, no longer being seen as Fontaine’s archon, she could go as she pleased now. Furina decided she wanted to see other places, get away from everyone that had known her or well more so of her act. She felt unwanted and uncomfortable with how things went down. She was happy Fontaine was saved but it seemed like a lot of people saw her as the bad guy even though she did it to save them all. It was hard for her to be there so she set out to see the other lands until she was ready to face Fontaine again. 

Furina had found herself in Liyue, a much different scene than Fontaine. She could already tell she looked like an outsider based on her clothes alone. Yet the people seemed nice so she decided to rest here for a while. She got a room at the Wangshu Inn, settled her things down in her room before leaving it. She wandered out of the inn and went to see the sights around. She left civilization to go wander around the wilderness. She hadn’t realized how much time had passed, nor realized she had gotten lost within the mountains until the sun was setting. 

Furina looked around in slight panic as she tried retracing her steps to go back to the Inn, but she kept going in circles it felt like. She fidgeted slightly, trying to calm the anxiety that seemed to start to build up in her chest. She walked around more, trying to find her way. She was almost about to give up altogether when she spotted someone a bit higher than where she was. Maybe they were a traveler? Maybe he could help her. 

“ Um, excuse me, sir? ” Furina called out to the other, walking a bit quickly to try and get closer to him. “ I was wondering if you’d be able to help me? I seem to have gotten lost. ” How embarrassing this was but she really didn’t wish to spend the night outside and unprepared.

It's a common theme for the original seven to meet once in ten years , to catch up with plans , strengthen each nation's relationship && overall to have a good time , each archon typically goes alone but this meeting the archons brought along their closest retainer.

The meeting had turned the usual , some friends mingled && talked , had fun , but focalors was more curious at the waters of the at mount aocang, dancing on top of the water as the sky turned orange , && sun hide behind the mountain ranges . Focalors hand spread open to bask on the sun light before humming.

❛ mhm... did you like my performance? ❜ she stated amusedly, before opening her eyes to look at the adeptus watching her from afar. ❛ As a performer... I'd like to hear my audience's reaction towards my dance -- so tell me, Adeptius Xiao , how was it ? ❜

The yaksha's arms crossed as he appeared before the other archon. It seemed many of the guests of this poetry gala had left so he now felt more comfortable making an appearance as he has now. "It seems your gala with Director Tao is going well." He mentions. He had been overseeing what he could at a safe distance to the non-vision using attendees.

"Rest assure I will continue my vigilant watch to make sure no harm comes to those in attendance."

He heard his name on the winds as he recognized it to the small child of pyro who called it. Looking towards the mountains he disappears from his perch and appears before the small one. Kneeling down to her gently. "You called?" He questions gently. Concern on his features for she may be hurt. (for klee)

Klee jumped excitedly as she saw the Yaksha appear righrt in front of her eyes. It worked! She was worried he was too busy, but nope, there he was!

"I did! I wanted to see you, I made some food and wanted to invite you to a meal!" she wasn't sure if he would like it, but the Knight did her best! "And I made you a drawing as well, there you go!"

It was a silly drawing, but clearly well loved as it depicted Klee hugging Xiao. There were many hearts surrounding it, and a small writing saying 'because you are loved! For Mr. Xiao!'.

"I hope you aren't too busy, if you need to go Klee can just pack the food for you!"

@kcrmicdebt : The yaksha never was one to seek out the old god unless he was called. But his body felt heavier than normal since the events of the Chasm. Burying the tip of his polearm into the ground. "Forgive me..." His voice is barely louder than a whisper as he lowers himself to one knee before the other. Hand wrapped tightly around the shaft of his weapon to keep him rooted as he stared at the ground with shame. "I am tired..." (for Zhongli)

"Xiao..." There was very little which could cause the old god to truly worry after so many centuries of peace, but the pinch in his brow and swiftness in which he moved to the Yaksha's side to steady him betrayed this was absolutely a moment which qualified. As one who had already lost so many in his long, long life, he was loathe to lose more. It was difficult to let go so as not to be weighed down with grief for the rest of eternity, and even the gods were not immune to the overwhelming feelings loss could bring upon them.

"Come, rest." A bed would have been preferable, but there was no such thing here and Zhongli did not dare attempt to travel with Xiao just yet. A geo construct would have to do for now, summoned in an instant so Zhongli could usher the younger Adeptus toward it to lie down.

"You used a great deal of your energy and it will take time to replenish, but if you are suffering from any other injuries or ailments you must tell me now so that I may determine what steps to take in order to properly assist you."
