High on adrenaline and the fact you were in the midst of a deadly battle, dodging arrows and swords, you didn't notice at first how beautiful he was.

But then, when the Resistance celebrated, full of joy and relief, finally free again- then he was standing there in the soft light of the full moon shining down on you, making his white hair silver and his pale skin glow. He looked eternal. He was telling a tale from Liyue, soft spoken words and a soft smile on his face, everything was so soft about him. And in this exact moment, you fell in love and lost your heart to Kaedehara Kazuha.

You kept your love hidden, shying away from rejection, because why would Kazuha, the possibly most perfect man in all Nations of Teyvat look at you? You paled in his presence, your words almost crude compared to his poetic ones, your talent with the sword nothing against his.

And yet you stood bravely in front of him, taking a deep breath and uttering the cursed words.

"I am in love with you, Kazuha", with a deep blush on your cheeks and fiddling hands showing your nerves. "And I wanted to ask..." His soft look made you blush even worse and you had to turn your head away to keep calm.

"I wanted to ask, if you would be my love and partner." Your voice became more silent and silent, until you barely whispered the last word. But Kazuha still heard you.

And he still broke your heart.

"I apologize, [Name]. For my heart yearns for another person to be by my side."

Tickletober day 26 - reward/punishment

Tomo x Kazuha

Morning begins not with beautiful birds singing under the window, but with beautiful male laughter. But perhaps it is worth starting from the beginning.

It was so cozy to stay in a soft bed on this cool autumn morning. But the first one who woke up was Kazuha, who was not used to getting up so early and looked at the opposite side of the bed where the taller man Tomo was sleeping, who smiled tenderly in his sleep. He was lying on his back and one of his arms was raised and the hand was hidden under the pillow, exposing the armpit.

The samurai looked bewitchingly at his boyfriend and smiled, he is so cute. But then an idea came to him and he chuckled.

He settled comfortably on his side, resting on one arm, and the other began to approach the blonde's armpit. The sword user began very gently, using one finger to draw patterns on the smooth skin, causing a slight twitch and a wider smile. His legs began to squirm a little, but the armpit was still open. Kazuha then added all his fingers and began to tickle slowly up and down so that Tomo couldn't get used to it.

He noticed that his boyfriend bit his lip and wrinkled his nose in a funny way.

- Mhehehe - quiet chuckles began to escape and the eyes were tightly closed, as if the blond tried with all his might not to open them, but the eyelids were still shaking.

The anemo element user couldn't stop smiling and decided to use his nails, causing a screech and melodic laughter to be heard and Tomo open his eyes.

- Kahahahazuha, nohohoho - he giggled, but did not lower his hand.

Tomo did catch the playful hand when the sensation became unbearable and he was on the verge of screaming.

Violet-eyed smiled and pushed his boyfriend onto the bed and sat on his hips. He gently kissed his neck, causing the samurai to squirm.

- Oh, you got up so early, for the first time in months. - the sword user received a kiss on the cheek. - You deserve an reward.

The blond smiled like a pleased cat and his hands went down to his boyfriend's sides and without warning started squeezing them. The red-eyed twitched sharply and began to squeak.

- Tohohohohohomo, plehehehahahahase nohohoho - his hands tried to help the situation, but in the end his boyfriend just caught them and secured them over his head.

- This is your well-deserved reward, baby. Accept it with dignity. - Tomo chuckled and reached under his shirt.

- Oh, what a horror, your ribs stick out so much, I definitely need to feed you. I don't want everyone to think that I'm such an irresponsible boyfriend starving you. - his fingers lingered on each hollow between the ribs, bringing Kazuha to hysterics.

- I cahahahahahahahn't pleahahaHAHAHAHAHAse, thihihihiihis is tohohohohohoortuhahaAHAHAHHARE

- It's a reward, I told you. If this was torture... - Tomo stopped and let go of his boyfriend and immediately grabbed his legs and pinched him in the elbow. - ..then I would have started tickling you under the knees~ he did this and the samurai began to beat the mattress with his fists.

- NhohohoOHOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHEHHERE I CAHAHAHAHAN'T- he was already like the color of his eyes, he squeaked a lot and snorted funny.

- Oh, I forgot to tell you something, you really deserve a reward, but also a punishment for waking me up and tickling me. - Tomo stuck out his tongue and winked cutely at his boyfriend and got to his ankles.

- How cold, I must warm them up! - and his nails began to quickly scribble on thin skin and he heard a scream.

The blond looked at the samurai and smiled, his hair scattered all over the pillow, baby hugged himself and his eyes were tightly closed.

Tomo decided to take pity on him and stopped, crawling up to him and hugged him.

- Alive?

- I'm nohot sure..

- Hehe, if you're talking, it means you're definitely alive. - he kissed the white top of head.

- I-It was terrihible.

- You deserve it~ the blond pulled him closer to him. - But I'll make you breakfast and you can recuperate, okay? Hm? Kazuha? - Tomo looked at him and smiled. The samurai fell asleep.

Tomo and Kazuha's first kiss happened by accident. It happened when they were sitting in their usual spot. They watched the sunset when things went quiet, and Kazuha asked, "do you ever wonder when you'll fall in love?"

Tomo turned to look at Kazuha. He was about to answer with a joke but stopped when he saw Kazuha. He had always admired Kazuha's looks. He is attractive. But at that moment, Kazuha looked ethereal.

Tomo felt his heart race, and he suddenly had the urge to kiss Kazuha. Tomo took a deep breath and kissed Kazuha.

Kazuha's eyes went wide. He stared at Tomo, who rested his forehead against his, "I think I'm already in love,"

Kazuha gulps and asks, "with who?"

Tomo smiles and answers, "you,"

Tomo pulls away and smiles at Kazuha before looking straight ahead. The sun had already set, and the stars had begun to decorate the sky. Only then did Tomo's actions sink in. He turns to Kazuha, ready to apologize.

"Kazuha, I'm sorry! You can hit me if you want. I didn't mean to kiss you without your consent. I was just-" Tomo rumbles as he waits for Kazuha to hit him. But it didn't come.

Instead, he felt Kazuha's lips pressed against him, "now we're even," Kazuha whispered before turning away with a blush.

Tomo touched his lips and leaned closer to Kazuha to ask, "do you ever wonder when you'll fall in love?"

Kazuha's blush deepened when Tomo asked him the same question, "I think I already am,"

Tomo laughs and pulls Kazuha into a hug, "So, this is what it feels like to be in love," he whispers before pulling away to give Kazuha another kiss, "I love you, Kaedehara Kazuha,"

Kazuha buries his face into Tomo's chest and says, "I love you too, Tomo,"

Somewhere along the process of aging when fashion became a worry, Tomo turned his into an accessory on the hilt of his sword, and Kazuha used his to hold his vision.

As the three of you grew, so too did your feelings.

Tomo and Kazuha confessed to each other first.

Of course you were happy for them- of course you were also jealous. You wanted to be the one to card your fingers through Kazuha's hair. You wanted to be the one to lull Tomo to sleep in the night when his thoughts kept him awake.

So, you distanced yourself.

You left the happy couple to enjoy their lives together...

It wasn't long before they dragged you back to them.

And so the happy couple became a happy throuple.

Kazuha loved you and you loved Tomo and Tomo loved Kazuha and Kazuha loved Tomo and Tomo loved you and you loved Kazuha.

Fatum.

Based on Kazuha's teapot voice-line about scattering maple leaves on the ocean.

Tomo sees someone from afar. A young man with white hair and a crimson streak, wearing a pretty black haori with a maple leaf pattern worn only over his left arm, he had a black scarf that swayed along the breeze, an anemo vision hanging from his left shoulder and a katana hanging over his left hip. From closer inspection, Tomo could see maple leaves adorning his right side — maple leaves like the one he had found two days ago at the river, beautiful and so well preserved it still kept its crimson color.

He approached the person from behind, not expecting a katana pointed at his throat in the blink of an eye.

"What do you want?" Asked the young man, his voice fierce yet with not so much bite on it. Tomo couldn't help but think that he looked just like Tama when she was mad.

He smiled at him and raised both hands in the air while swaying the maple leaf on his left slowly. "Is this yours?"

The stranger looked at his hand for a brief second, still wary, but the moment he saw the leaf, his guard relaxed a little. "It was mine. It's yours now if you want to keep it." Then, he shrugged and lowered the blade from his neck.

Tomo exhaled, relieved, and kept the leaf on the inside of his haori.

The stranger didn't even look at him again before continuing his way.

"Hey!" Tomo shouted at him before picking up his pace and catching up to him. "Where are you going?"

The stranger sighed and looked at him.

From there, he could see his crimson eyes and the gentleness these exuded, the small smile that seemed to be permanent on his face and just how beautiful the stranger was.

Tomo took a deep breath.

"None of your business. Please don't follow me."

Tomo laughed beside him, still following him despite his request. "I have nowhere to be, why can't I go with you?"

The stranger seemed to ponder over it, his hand tightening a little on the hilt of his katana, before extending said hand in Tomo's direction.

"Kaedehara Kazuha." He said, smiling at him.

And Tomo had never thought how well someone's own name could fit so well said someone until he met the person standing in front of him.

He extended his own hand and took Kazuha's smaller one. "Tomo. Nice to meet you Kaedehara-san."

The not-so-stranger-anymore chuckled at him, trying to cover the blush that was slowly painting his cheeks with his other hand. "Just Kazuha, there's no need for formalities, Tomo-san." He said, emphasizing the honorific with a wink.

Tomo cackled, his own cheeks feeling warm, and let go of the other's hand.

"Kazuha it is, then."
