Hey this is a prompt request based on a post by sander-klaas on tumblr. Could you do a fic about an interaction between luca x sander x robbe talking about her crush on robbe. Credit to sander-klaas for the idea, i think you could write something so good about this if you have time!
hey, @sander-klaas, come here a second!
-
Sander pulls his chair closer to the table to make sure he hears every word correctly, because this is fun! Enough material to tease Robbe for the rest of his life.
“Wait...so you had a crush on Robbe? When?”
The light touch on his thigh makes him look at his boyfriend, but there’s no way Robbe will manage to change the subject now. He just pulls Robbe closer, putting his arm behind Robbe’s chair, waiting for Luca to start giving him all the details.
Luca opens her mouth and arms, in disbelief that Sander is not buying what she told him a minute ago,“Yes!”
She leans against her chair too, talking about how she tried to hit on Robbe for months and he ignored every move she made.
“I didn’t ignore, I was-” Sander and Luca stare at Robbe and he sighs and stops talking midsentence.
“No, please, tell us, Robin. I wanna hear.” Robbe opens his mouth, wetting his lips, clearly fishing for the right words.
“I just didn’t know what to do! I’m so sorry, Luca, but I wasn’t interested and I didn’t know how to say that!”
She smiles so fondly at his boyfriend and Sander plays with his hair, knowing how shy he can be at times and how he’s probably feeling so embarrassed right now.
“It’s okay, Robbe. I moved on and you got a hot guy for yourself so I get it now, there was nothing I could do.” She shrugs, playing with her curls.
“Exactly! Thank you. I like...guys.” Robbe almost whispers the last word, but at least he says it.
“You like one guy, if Zoe told me correctly.” Sander kisses Robbe’s cheek, holding his hand quietly around Robbe’s neck while he continues talking to Luca.
“Did you really like him?” Luca smiles, drinking her beer. She’s so cool, so laid back in her chair, always smiling and knowing the right things to say. Sander wishes he has like her.
“I don’t know, don’t think so...just though he was cute. I don’t know if I ever liked someone other than myself.”
“He is cute. And I think you’re right. There’s no rush, we’re not in a race. I just got lucky to find the one so soon.”
“You two really are, man. Everyone else is so full of drama.” Sander smiles as Luca says the last sentence like it’s a secret, leaning against the restaurant table. Even Robbe smiles, lying on Sander’s shoulder and Sander only nods his head, not wanting to start giving his opinions on how dramatic his new friends are, “I mean, you painted his cute face on a huge wall, that’s a little dramatic too.”
Sander snorts, the mural doesn’t even compare to Zoe and Senne fighting because they love each other too much and so can’t stand each other’s presence all day, every day. “But it had meaning, okay? Robbe knew why I did that.” Luca raises her eyebrows, pulling her chair closer.
Their food are now completely forgotten in between them as the others eat and talk about other things too.
“You knew he was going to do that?” Luca asks Robbe and he sits up straight again, looking at Sander for a second, making him smile.
“No. I mean, he had shown me the drawing before and talked about a big wall, with intense colors,” Sander pushes him when Robbe makes a very bad reproduction of how he talks, “but I didn’t think he would ever do it. Didn’t think he was talented enough for it.”
Robbe smiles, looking over his shoulder and Sander kisses him, messing up his hair.
“So you were doubting my skills, huh?”
“I didn’t know your skills.”
The three of them let Robbe’s word ring for a long, deafening second and Luca drinks her beer not to add anything to Robbe’s statement, lifting her eyebrows while Sander hugs Robbe from behind, kissing his shoulder.
“So...Kato seems cool.” Sander can’t see Robbe from this angle, but by the way Luca stares at his boyfriend, Sander is sure Robbe’s eyebrows are as up as they can be, hiding behind his hair and he’s smiling like he just didn’t imply anything with his comment.
“She’s pretty.” Sander agrees, nodding his head.
Luca is a little out of words suddenly, taking a second to answer, “So am I. She’s cool.”
“You’re both pretty, would look good together...” Robbe tries again.
Sander tries not to laugh, pressing his lips against the back of Robbe’s shoulder as Luca starts blushing and Sander can’t remember seeing the girl so embarrassed before.
“Now that you found out you’re gay, everyone is gay too?” Luca asks, still blushing, quietly looking at Kato sitting a few seats to her left, close to Moyo.
“That would be cool, yeah.” Robbe shrugs, kissing Sander’s hand, looking at the blond girl too.
