Kakashi lied (to mess with Obt) something about his teeth being sharp. Like an wild animal predator sharp. And Obi believed. So they (Kakashi and Rin) continued to mess with Obt for a while. Maybe a year and a half. Or more.

But everything changed when Fire nation attacked they have had a fight in Obts dimension.

jonin or anbu au and teenager Obito's reaction when he catches the gaze of Kakashi's sharingan. every time, this unquenchable red glow evokes in him some kind of strangely deep feeling, which he decides to consider heartburn from eating too many sweets. not that he ever thought about the consequences of the gift he gave, so as many other consequences of his impulsive virtue, but something tells Obito that it shouldn't have felt this... vulnerably? Obito's inner world is calm when the left half of Kakashi's face is covered by a bandage. his inner world is stirred up in a good way when there is no bandage during a battle or training. but in moments off the battlefield, the sharingan loses its direct purpose and, if it shows off, becomes a strong reminder of the connection that Obito secured so literally, so clumsily that sometimes it even seems vulgar. especially when they are in Obito's house, surrounded by the walls of the Uchiha quarter, and everything around almost screams about Uchiha's main treasure that Obito shared with... why him? Obito decides to put off this heartburn-like feeling again. after all, it's too stupid to think about it, isn't it? you just need to eat more veggies and meet that shade of red less often... right...
