Autistic Anime Boys Side B Round 1 Match 20
Propaganda:
Houtarou -
"This guy has maybe 3 spoons on any given day, tops. Could be a great teen detective if he gave even a little bit of a damn. He has such high mental inertia that it takes a pretty girl to (sometimes physically) drag him into an activity."
Kabane -
"Kabane is a half-kemono ghoul who can regenerate endlessly without feeling pain. He was raised in a small farming town where he was made to do manual labor and neglected emotionally and physically. His emotions and social skills are dulled due to this abusive upbringing and his ghoul heritage; he rarely facially emotes and speaks in a perpetual monotone (in the anime). He also continually wears and buys the same clothes, and has bought at least 5 of the same sweater.
He tends to take things very literally and agrees with others' requests very readily. On his childhood farm, he didn't say or do anything when his adoptive brother killed him to avoid awkwardness. When he meets another kemono (a feminine male), he very frankly tells him that he's very pretty, a somewhat major social faux pas that Kabane doesn't register. When another kemono asks, "what brought you here?" as a general question, Kabane says "a car"- technically correct, but contextually blind. Kabane also dismembers himself to escape the same kemono's hazing instead of taking the more obvious route of asking for help.
Kabane also seems to have trouble understanding the concept of relationships between people. In an attempt to understand his parents' relationship, he conducts an investigation into the concept of "love". Eventually he concludes that love is a form of mutual gratitude between people, and he shows this by giving tissues (a handy item) to the object of his "love", his mentor (a man in his late 30's). He gets along best with Kon, another kemono with tendencies toward extreme literal interpretations."
