The funniest, sweetest thing happened at the Oulu gig!! Jukka meeting story 🦆

it was in a big sports hall and the event had other artists too. So we had plenty of time and tried to see if Häärijä would come to the merch stand, but we gave up after he apparently only did a quick visit on it and left and didn't return.

I'm at the front row and some hours later, just take a look behind me too see how much crowd has arrived. In the opposite side of the hall, I see a tall guy with a grey beanie and cream-colored jacket standing at the merch. I'm like 'no freaking way that's Jukka' because why would he be there and what new kind of delulu is this, but my friend had prepared a bracelet for him so she ran there 😂 and it indeed was him!! Then she came back and we switched places again to guard our front row spots, and I rushed there too!

I had a quick chat with him, he asked if I'm from Oulu, I said no but [my hometown] and he replied how come I wasn't in Levi yesterday then 😂😂 (Jukka darling trust me I wanted to, but it would've been 600km, one way, in one weekend, to go to both gigs...)

Then we took some selfies and he promised to deliver the letter for Jere i had with me that I had originally planned to give to Häärijä. So it got delivered in the end, and the way Jukka asked again "for Jere?" to make sure he got it right and put it in his fluffy jacket's pocket so gently 🥺💚

After the concert, i took this pic from the merch where I spotted Jukka, he was SO far away and only a tall blip in the distance but I guess i have both a very sharp eye and his usual outfit is very easy to recognize 😂😂

Oulu crowd was insane, Käärijä loved it too, and Jukka got the attention he deserves as his name was chanted many times 💚

11. Have you ever sat front row at a show?

- I wonder if this is about literally sitting in the front row or just being in the front row in general, because why the heck would you sit down on the front row (unless, of course, you have a physical disability or smth)?! 😅 At least if we're talking about rock shows and the like; at a classical concert it migh be more common to sit down 🤔😂 Anyway, yes I have been at the front row, in my latest concert (BC) last month and also at BC's Stockholm show last summer, as well as Käärijä's Ruisrock show this past summer!

12. Stadium show — where are you grabbing seats? (ie: floor, lower bowl, middle bowl, nosebleeds)

- Just answered this one!

14. Are you a phone in hand recording/taking pics so you can watch later concert goer or a phone in pocket living in the moment type?

- I do film videos during shows, although not the entire time, obviously. I like to have at least something I can look at and hold on to afterwards; living in the moment is great and all and I get the sentiment that memories are more valuable than "things", but bruh, memories fade?! I for one can't remember shit about any concert I've ever been to when enough time has passed 😅 They are just fleeting moments, and that's why I also like writing concert reports (I don't know how interesting they are to anyone else, but I'm writing them mostly for myself anyway). Also, especially at BC shows there's just sooooo much stuff happening on the stage all at once and it's sometimes difficult to decide what you're gonna focus on, so it's fun to look at the videos afterwards and notice all kinds of silly stuff that went on in front of your very eyes without you even realizing it at the time 😂 At the same time, I do think it's easier to focus and just enjoy the show when you're not filming/taking pictures (tbf I never take pictures except sometimes by accident, they always turn out so blurry and unfocused so there's no point), which is why I loved the BC show in Lahti in 2021, because I got to both enjoy the show with no phone in my hand AND I had a bunch of front row quality videos to look at afterwards because the sweet girl in front of me wanted to film me videos as a thank you for lending her a hairtie 😭 I also rarely film during the songs I REALLY want to just get absorbed in, e.g. WANS for Blind Channel
