#anyway gale supremacy #bg3 #bg3 spoilers #but only because of my ramblings in tags here because i made my OC Samael and he has little to no impulse control and #thistle is 95% of his impulse control and Thistle is not present in this canon #and sammi is too nice to people like #he wants to see the good in everyone and sometimes making decisions IC for him is insane #like Astarion literally is trying to feed on him and he's like listen i know you don't like me but like you could have asked #and astarions like oh well can i then i promise ill stop (despite the fact that he dislikes sammi because sammi is the kind of person to #jump in and save people because hes got Morals™ #and sammis like ok sure #and so sammi lets him and dont i fail the persuasion roll to tell him to stop so sammi is just laying dead in the middle of the camp like #and then i have glitchy issues trying to revive him and try to pick his body up to move it but my other characters can't do anything #because the HUD is missing because they are trapped in dialogue so i tried to get gale to move sammis body but he was too heavy so i had #gale take all his stuff forgetting that would essentially strip sammi naked but #i did figure it out and sammi got revived and put clothes back on and IMMEDIATELY went over and punched Astarion in the face #was i intending on kicking that vampire out? yes. did sammi end up doing that? no! because fucking!! AAAAAA #ok but i swear if he lays a finger on anyone else i'll kill him myself -sammi probably #astarion has that poor little meow meow vibe #like legitimately poor little meow meow

@blacksentai my friend who got me into the game warned me about Jacob's romance option… which is extra wild bc iirc there's like a white boy romance option in ME1 that carries over across like all three games or sth?? so for Whatever Reason, Jacob ends poorly + doesn't come back for any sequels. and has no backstory except for his ties to Evil, Inc.— like not even how Shepard's backstory options were like "street punk made good via THE MILITARY™," "just generally gung ho about THE MILITARY™," or "was saved Mako Mori style by a MILITARY™ team when alien slavers came through the colony." Miranda's actually Aussie & modeled p. significantly off her VA, Yvonne Strahovski, and ofc the game won't let you forget they got MARTIN SHEEN, but none of the non-white chars are modeled on anybody, and most of the non-white VAs (under a dozen in an IMDB list of like 99 people) play aliens. and like, at least they cast an AsAm actress for Kasumi, but I'm actually even more pissed about the Krogan now, bc they literally cast Michael Dorn while still narratively pulling a "Stop This Mad Brute!," so like, they KNEW they were doing Klingons enough to cast fuckin' Worf, but still decided to fo the whole "you're TOO savage & the genophage is good for you" route. fucking bastards. I'm glad he got paid, but FUCK THAT. and Space Romani would be Quarians, right? I could tell from the jump they were gonna get shafted just from the way they're like talked about (and talked OVER??? wtf Shepard I did not raise you like this) in gameplay + in the in-game species guide… when, like, the more "respectable" Asari are ALSO on the hunt for (genetic) resources, but we can see their titties, so ig it's all good; not like those dirty, thieving scavengers. and that's why I made sure to have enough fucking paragon points to free that dude from that elephant man in the fucking virus zone when I had to recruit Mordin Solus: because fuck y'all, why is this an OPTIONAL quest, that dude got enslaved on Walkabout but apparently I could choose to not care even though I'm out here being an ass to Tali bc aren't we FRIENDS??? or whatever tf. like they fully know what they're doing, the gamerunners & writers just think of these morality situations as "intriguing" & completely 100% rhetorical topics to explore that don't MEAN anything irl unless you WANT them to… they know Andrew Jackson was bad, but, like, if you don't want to rp the alien Trail of Tears then you're just being sensitive. ugh ugh ugh ugh.
