We all know TKK were cut from the company's official content, but it seems like they were never really apart. Do you know any specific instances besides Grammy 2020 proving they were close in 2019-20?
Hi anon!
So there’s quite a bit of footage from that time that to me shows they are just fine. @taekooktimeline by Kayla will give you a lot of those moments chronologically.
I’ll show a few I find particularly indicative of them being close despite what the general narrative is.
youtube
This fansign moment. Tae moves right into Jk’s space, which to me seems like he’s looking for comfort. This is such a couples move to me, where the one will find a sense of protection with the person trusts. Jm is right next to Tae. But mostly, it’s done in such an automatic way, he barely seems to think about his movement, all that seems to go through his mind is something alike ‘Jk.. safe space’. There’s more moments from that fansign that to me show that they are connected and not awkward. Shoutout to Jk’s flirty looks!
youtube
youtube
There’s the Japanese bbq interview throughout which Tae and Jk are physically connected and interacting freely with Tae choosing Jk to turn to and not Jm repeatedly.
youtube
This live Jk did which, aside from tkk fandom interpretations, shows that Tae and Jk spend time together.
youtube
Tae knowing how to calm Jk.
*jumping to 2020 because this is getting long*
youtube
I mean, Tae and Jk at GDA was something else. No way those two men weren’t close at that time. Tae was struggling, Jk was a huge source of comfort by keeping an eye on him and keeping him close. None of that was fanservice, I think it’s an insult to their humanity to make it out like that was wat is was. I don’t even care if people believe they are together or not, but to say they weren’t close is just denial imo.
During Festa Jk described Tae as his ‘commonality’ which I don’t think is something he would do had they not been close.
ITS has already been widely discussed on here.. the focus mostly being the talk ofcourse. The wider narrative is that Tae and Jk fixed what was wrong during that talk and afterwards they went pretty much back to normal. To me that makes no sense. Because we can clearly see that they were already hanging off each other and sitting no-space-wise and searching each other out before that talk happened. If there had been a sense of distance between them it would have been minor and not worthy of having been portrayed the way it was during ITS. If there had been distance they would have needed more than a day to go from feeling awkward-ish to full on cuddling in bed. Tae going to Jk’s bed after waking up wasn’t an odd thing for them. Jk wasn’t surprised at all. So it was either scripted to get the point of reconciliation across (and if so.. why was that scripted and not the talk?) or it was a natural thing for them to do and we saw Tae going to Jk for a cuddle and a sleep with their bodies intwined like it was second nature. (Gosh I could rant about the its talk for days 😂😂 i annoys me to no end).
During ITS when Tae and Jk work on Jk’s abs, Jm knows exactly what happens and is not surprised.. indicating they do this more often.
And after ITS things basically went the way they go now.
But mostly, all throughout the years you will find that their body language is constantly that of two people that are close. They lean in towards each other more than they do towards the other members, they search to stand aside each other more, and when they are next to each other they are often connected in some way or will find a moment to do so. This has always been this way. Tae and Jk together aren’t usually the point of focus, but in the background they are definitely together a lot.

VIDEOS AND GIFS (in this blog)
I also have been posting some gifs and pics from the four BNHA musical (official musicals) which are out at the moment. You can find them at the tag bnha musical. I also post comparisons of scenes between the musical and the manga, and I post snipped of subtitled videos at this tag ultra stage video.
Tumblr media
INFO: THE MUSICALS
There are, at the moment, four musicals, in chronological order, covering the bnha manga plot from chapter 1 till the end of Deku vs Kacchan 2. I will add their Japanese tiltes if you wanna look for them on Amazon Japan.
The first musical is called "My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage" and came out in 2019. It adapts the beginning of the manga, up to the sport festival (chapter 1 to 44). This is the Japanese title: 「僕のヒーローアカデミア」The “Ultra” Stage (ジ・ウルトラ・ステージ). And the musical is about 2 hours. This is also the only musical that can be found on bilibili.
The second musical had some troubles due to covid, so, as far as I know there were two versions. The first one was interrupted by covid, but the second one run in 2021 and had some extra scenes too. The title is "My Hero Academia: The "Ultra" Stage A True Hero, Plus Ultra version" and it covers the Stain arc, the internship, the final exams and it ends with the mall scene where Deku meets Shigaraki (chapter 45 to 70). The "Plus Ultra version" is specifically added because it is the second version of the second musical. The Japanese title is 「僕のヒーローアカデミア」The “Ultra"Stage 本物の英雄ヒーローPLUS ULTRA ver.. And the musical is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
The third musical came out in 2022 and it is called "My Hero Academia" The "Ultra" Stage Symbol of Peace" and it covers the forest training arc and Kamino (chapter 70 to 95). Title: 「僕のヒーローアカデミア」The “Ultra" Stage 平和の象徴(法人特典なし).
The fourth musical has been announced at Jump Festa 2022, the 17/12/22 and is called "My Hero Academia" The "Ultra" Stage The Greatest Hero mode (the link of the website and the cast is here). The musical run until 21st of May 2023 (from the 29th of April 2023). The dvd is out for preorder and you can find it on amazon with this title: 「僕のヒーローアカデミア」The “Ultra” Stage 最高のヒーロー. It will come out the 20th of September. The musical covers from the teachers meeting the students' parents to the aftermath of Deku vs Kacchan 2 (up till chapter 121).
Tumblr media
DVDS
The musicals all run live in different theaters, but luckily they were all filmed. The title I used are also the title used in the dvds. Each dvd copy comes with two discs, one with zoom in on faces and camera work, and the second one with a still camera, so you can see the whole stage. The dvds comes without subtitles, but the dialogues are very similar to the anime.
At the moment all the musicals (1, 2 and 3) can be purchased on Amazon Japan, or rented on Amazon Prime Japan (only 1 and 2).
Musical 4 can be pre-ordered.
Other options for purchases are: YesAsia and CdJapan.
For the exact titles to search (with covers, to make sure you get the right one), please check this page.
PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
The Kacchako cooking video went quite popular, it was a promotional material for the second musical being filmed for dvd. You can find the transcript here and the subtitled video here (it is two parts, so you can find part 2 in that post). These videos were created for a special series of mini videos called Smash! Unfortunately no other Smash! was recorded or shared.
The actors also shared a lot of pictures from behind the scenes, so I will link their twitter accounts to their names. I will also try to share as much twitter pics as I can here on my blog, with the tag "musical twitter promo".

This week's author's comment apparently sparked yet another wave of uproar in the JJK fandom. What's new with that fandom overreacting every week, tell me? [I used "that" because I'm in Gege Akutami's fandom, not JJK hewhewhew.] But seriously now, I don't understand why the community needs to react in such a manner AS IF it's the first time they're hearing about Gege wanting to end the series this year, precisely in 2023. The cat first mentioned it in an interview with Mando Kobayashi in 2021; he said the series might be over in two years, i.e. 2023, [although it was also reiterated that one doesn't have to believe a mangaka's words].
Tumblr media
Video source: Waya
But then, just recently during the Jump Festa Super Stage last December, he technically gave us an update (which coincides with his previous statement AND goal of ending the manga in 2023) and asked us that we stay with him for *probably* another year, i.e. EOS in 2023.
Tumblr media
Might I also remind everyone that Gege declared he already had the JJK ending planned as early as 2020? In the character databook that was released sometime in 2019, he claimed that Megumi's fate has already been decided on, but later in the 2021 interview with Mando Kobayashi, he changed his statement and stated that both Megumi's and Yuuji's conclusion are done up, but Sukuna's ending is still up in the air.

While there is of course a chance that he's just trolling with us all, it could be true. And as far as I'm concerned, I personally don't think it a bad thing if he prefers to conclude the series early, or even later than he had originally planned. It's up to him, really, I'll just go with the flow. I don't think Gege's rushing the EOS at all too, given that he's been saying that the manga is set to end in 2023 (or early 2024, being generous). How can anyone say that he's rushing it when he already has the manga ending, as well as its main arcs, in mind since 2020?! Lol.
If it makes anyone feel better, though, we know that Gege often takes a week off writing - the pattern right now is like a week off after every 2 to 3 chapters. So counting that in, I'd say the earliest the series can end would be in 2024. It's still a ways away, even if the number of chapters left is scarily lesser than some of ya expected.
Whatever it is, if Gege wants to end Jujutsu Kaisen, then let him. IT'S HIS STORY. JUJUTSU KAISEN IS GEGE AKUTAMI'S STORY. Not yours. Who knows he might have aimed to end the series a long time ago but because of the sudden popularity the series received, he had no choice but to extend the lifespan and it's not what he truly wanted? Who knows he has probably lost interest in the series and it's a struggle every week - because your heart is really not in it anymore - trying to come up with new ideas, etc. to keep the story going? Who knows he's actually yearning for a vacation where he can just chill and not having to worry about the progress of his story or the plot, or what his editor or fans would talk about, and he doesn't have to get pressured anymore? Or... who knows he might wanna start on a new story which excites him more than what JJK has to offer? [Maybe he wants to start on Barabarujura serialization already? Or the "idol" manga that he once mentioned...?]
Tumblr media
Video source: Waya
I don't know his exact reason yeah, but all I'm saying is just let the man do what he wants with his story; if he wants to end it, so let him. As long as the series comes to a proper conclusion (whether happy or sad ending), I think many of us should be cool with it. Rather than it getting axed/rushed. Why do some people have to be angsty over his decision, I wonder? It's not like the majority of you are happy with what he puts out every week anyway ever since the last few chapters dropped - there's always something that the salty fans had to say (or hate on) in regards to the (current) story pace, characters, etc.
So anyways, whether or not the JJK manga is truly ending this year, or sometime in 2024, can we all just support Gege for this last stretch of his journey as a Jujutsu Kaisen mangaka..? And enjoy what little or more time that we have left with this amazing series? Man, I don't think it's that hard why do some of us even have to plead :')
I hate to say this too but for the people who read the manga for free, especially those who read on unofficial sites, some of ya really got the nerve to talk a whole lotta shiz.

I‘m so happy I was able to track down these little Seto Kaiba ema! They are small wooden plaques with a string a the top to hang them up. Finding these took some time (and money) and I‘m sadly still missing one, but I‘m very glad to have these in my collection💙💎 These are from the Jump Festa 2017, 2018 and 2019. The one I‘m still missing is from 2016. It’s kinda sad that they stopped selling these on the most recent JFs.

Wtf when did Gege say Gojo wears sunglasses when picking up women?
He wears them all the time when he doesn’t have the blindfold is he constantly trying to get chicks?
During Jump Festa 2019, Gege answered a bunch of questions from his fans.
Q: When does Gojo wear sunglasses and when does he use a blindfold?
A: He decides on a whim. He probably wears sunglasses when he's meeting the ladies.

Kemono Jihen was one of the expected anime series of 2021. The anime was announced at Jump Festa ’20 on December 31, 2019, and was released on January 10, 2021. The anime met the expectations of the manga’s followers, written by Shō Aimoto since 2016, and received positive reviews. The dark fantasy anime created by Ajia-do Animation Works, which we know from Ascendance of a Bookworm, is licensed by Funimation. The anime originally aired on Tokyo MX, YTV, and BS11 local networks as 12 episodes between January 10, 2021 – March 28, 2021. So will the anime be renewed for a second season?1 What is the plotline of Kemono Jihen?2 Will there be a second season of Kemono Jihen?2.1 Manga status2.2 Popularity and disc sales2.3 Studio status3 When is the second season release date of Kemono Jihen? What is the plotline of Kemono Jihen? In a remote mountain village, corpses of animals begin to appear, rotting overnight. Inugami, a detective, specializing in supernatural matters from Tokyo, is summoned to investigate the case. While working on the event, he befriends a strange boy who works in the field every day instead of going to school. Excluded by his peers and nicknamed “Dorota-bou”, living in the mud, Kabane helps Inugami uncover the truth behind the deaths. As he gets closer to the truth, Inugami will realize that the only superhuman thing in the child is not the nickname “Dorota-bou”.The Picture © FunimationWill there be a second season of Kemono Jihen? As of November 27, 2022, at the time of writing, Ajia-do Animation Works or any related company has yet to renew the anime for a second season. When we look at the studio’s other works, we know that they get new season approval for Ascendance of a Bookworm and How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. All we can do right now is hope it happens for Kemono Jihen too. Since there is no official announcement yet, we speculated about the second season of the anime under some key factors such as manga source material availability, disc sales, and popularity. We have some concerns about if there will be a new season of the anime. For a new season, the decision committee makes a similar assessment as we did. At the end of the article, you will learn the possibility of the new season with reasons.Manga statusThe manga series written and illustrated by Shō Aimoto began airing on Jump Square by Shueisha on December 2, 2016. The manga series, which reached 17 volumes in total, continues to be published at the time of writing and the latest volume was released on September 2, 2022. In the first season of Kemono Jihen, the first 6 volumes of the manga were adapted. The remaining source material is quite sufficient for the second season. There’s also good news for manga. Previously, the anime did not have an English publisher, and readers worldwide were not happy about it. Finally, Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga and will be publishing the manga with the first volume in August. This is news that will increase the popularity of anime and increase the possibility of a new season. Kemono Jihen Manga is very popular in Japan and has more than 4 million copies in circulation so far.35%Manga adaptation ratePopularity and disc salesDisc sales of the anime started on March 25, 2021. Disc sales figures for the anime are very valuable because there are no big exclusive distributors such as Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu that the anime can generate extra income, and it does not have a smartphone game either. Therefore, it should reach 4,000 copies, which is shown as the general target in disc sales. However, Kemono Jihen only sold 244 units in disc sales. When we look only at disc sales, we see a great disappointment. However, the series is not without undeniable popularity. So hopes for a second season remain regardless of disc sales. On the other hand, when we look at the current popularity, we see that the anime ranked 621st on Myanimelist based on their popularity ranking. This ranking is ideal for a recently released anime series. 79k people on Twitter already follow the anime account. There is a good interest in anime in Japan, we can say that animes with this follower number are promising in renewals. Finally, let’s look at worldwide popularity with another metric. When we look at the search volume about anime in Google searches, we see that it attracted serious attention when it was first published, but recently the current popularity has decreased to average levels. It seems that anime is a little above average in terms of popularity. However, considering that only a limited number of animes get a new season chance, we can say that it needs more than that.Studio statusAjia-do Animation Works is the anime’s creative studio. It may make sense to compare it with the studio’s other work. Ascendance of a Bookworm was renewed for a third season, and How Not to Summon a Demon Lord was renewed for a second season. How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is a really popular anime, but Kemono Jihen stands out from the popularity comparison of Ascendance of a Bookworm with Kemono Jihen. It means that the studio may not say no to the second season of Kemono Jihen as well. When is the second season release date of Kemono Jihen? The anime’s first season has just been aired in 2021, and a confirmation has not yet happened for a second season. Above, you can see the result of our evaluation for the new season and the possibility of renewal. We may have to wait for a new season of anime for years. However, it seems that the source material is sufficient, and a new season can be prepared with a production period of one year on average. It is possible to see a new season around 2023, but for this, the anime must first be renewed.
