Moving to Real Madrid? Speculations high as Kylian Mbappe is excluded from EA Sports FC Trailer

Moving to Real Madrid? Speculations high as Kylian Mbappe is excluded from EA Sports FC Trailer This is the time during the summer transfer window when football enthusiasts engage in speculation. The recent buzz revolves around the absence of Kylian Mbappé in the EA Sports FC video game trailer released by Paris Saint-Germain. While numerous players were featured in the 14-second clip, Mbappé was noticeably missing. Consequently, there has been widespread speculation about a potential transfer to Real Madrid, as the Spanish club has been strongly associated with the player. Where's Mbappe? https://t.co/MT8WIJrNGs— PSG Talk (@PSGTalk) July 13, 2023 Mbappé no sale en el video de #EASPORTSFC del PSG 😎 pic.twitter.com/8XZoozWh2C— Real Madrid Fans 🤍 (@MadridismoreaI) July 13, 2023 Given that Kylian Mbappé will be eligible to leave as a free agent next summer, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will likely be eager to part ways with the 24-year-old player. It is indeed notable that Kylian Mbappé is not featured on the cover of the EA Sports FC game, while many other players, including Erling Haaland, Marcus Rashford, Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Bukayo Saka, have secured a spot on the cover. Additionally, legendary players like Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, and David Beckham, as well as women's stars like Sam Kerr, Marta, and Leah Williamson, have been included. Even Pele and Johan Cruyff, who have passed away, have been featured. Given that Mbappé has been the main star of the previous three FIFA games, it does raise curiosity as to why he has been completely left out of the rebranding. It becomes even more intriguing when considering that Sam Kerr, who was Mbappé's co-star on the cover of FIFA 23, has been included in the lineup. These circumstances might suggest that there could be underlying reasons or decisions behind this omission. Moving to Real Madrid? The world is at risk of entering "hothouse" conditions with average temperatures 4-5 C higher even if emissions reduction targets under a global climate deal are met, scientists say in a new study.
The report, published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, comes amid a heatwave that has pushed temperatures above 40 C in Europe this summer, causing drought and strengthening wildfires, including blazes in Greece in July that killed 91 people. It is suspected that the Greek blazes resulted from arson.
Around 200 countries agreed in 2015 to limit temperature rise to "well below" 2 C above pre-industrial levels, a threshold believed to be a tipping point for the climate.
However, it is not clear whether the world's climate can be safely "parked" near 2 C above pre-industrial levels or whether this might trigger other processes which drive further warming even if the world stops emitting greenhouse gases, the research said.
Temperature in Portuguese capital hits record 44 C as heatwave sears southern Europe
Study predicts worsening killer heat waves in Europe
Currently, global average temperatures are just over 1 C above the pre-industrial period and rising at 0.17 C each decade.
Scientists from the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the University of Copenhagen, Australian National University and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research said it is likely that if a critical threshold is crossed, several tipping points would lead to abrupt change.
There will be uninhabitable places on Earth
Such processes include permafrost thaw; the loss of methane hydrates from the ocean floor; weaker land and ocean carbon sinks; the loss of Arctic summer sea ice and the reduction of Antarctic sea ice and polar ice sheets.
"These tipping elements can potentially act like a row of dominoes. Once one is pushed over, it pushes Earth towards another," said Johan Rockström, co-author of the report published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and executive director of the Stockholm Resilience Centre.
"It may be very difficult or impossible to stop the whole row of dominoes from tumbling over. Places on Earth will become uninhabitable if 'Hothouse Earth' becomes the reality," he said.
It may be very difficult or impossible to stop the whole row of dominoes from tumbling over. Places on Earth will become uninhabitable if 'Hothouse Earth' becomes the reality- Johan Rockström, co-author of the report
Maximizing the chances of avoiding such a hothouse state requires more than just reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the report said.
For example, improved forest, agricultural and soil management; biodiversity conservation and technologies that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store it underground are needed.
Commenting on the research, some experts said uncontrolled warming is still uncertain but not implausible.
"In the context of the summer of 2018, this is definitely not a case of crying wolf, raising a false alarm: the wolves are now in sight," said Phil Williamson, climate researcher at the University of East Anglia.

Moving to Real Madrid? Speculations high as Kylian Mbappe is excluded from EA Sports FC Trailer
Tumblr media
Chapter 3.
Tumblr media
King
10:44 am
I fell back on the couch of Tiana’s new apartment couch. We been moving her shit for a good 2 hours now. I’m beyond tired and just ready to get to work on this case. I watched as she walked back from one of the rooms and sat on the couch, crossing her foot under her.
“Ok so this case. I know you said you’d rather just give information then testify. But the judge says that he will need from you...and your other son if he is able”.
She nodded. I was about to begin once again, but I had a burning question that was just being wanted to ask.
“I’m sorry, I know this is a little off track, but how in the world did a young female like you end up two kids deep in a situation like this”.
I said it with a little bit of a smirk, but I was dead serious. She laughed, shaking her head.
“Well Im actually not 2 kids deep, just one. Trent is my brother and Titan is my baby. I’ve had Trent since he was 3 so naturally I guess he became mine...”
I nodded as she paused, looking out the floor to ceiling windows.
“He helped me when I had nothing. Me and Trent would have been homeless, in the system but he took care of us. I guess I  felt I owed him for what he did. That’s how I ended up 1 kid deep”.
We both shared the laugh. I nodded, starring at her for a while.
“SO, don’t want to intrude. How did you end up with your brother?”.
Sighing she locked eyes with me, playing with her fingers a bit.
“My mother was addicted to the streets and drugs. My grandmother took him when he was 1. She died of a heart attack 2 years later. So I took him. I had to prove we was living somewhere stable and that I was in school before they gave it to me. I fought hard because I was not trying to have him grow up in the system. 15 years old and taking care of a 3 year old..”
She laughed to herself and shook her head.
“Anyway, I graduated highschool but didn't continue on with college. Then Dominic being much older then me said we could stay with him. That he would let us live with him if I .... watched his shit”.
I raised a eyebrow taking a mental note to dig deeper into that itself. But for now I didn’t wanna pressure her too much so I decided to change the topic.
“Well, are you working or anything?”.
She shook her head.
“No, but I have office experience from when I was 18 and 19.
I nodded, rubbing my chin. This might be conflict in itself, but I might be able to get her a job at the firm. Not as a lawyer of course, but as a assistant. Just handle little stuff. Keeping files together, scheduling meetings, answering phones. That sort of thing.
“Well you got a interview Friday?”.
She laughed, kind of taken back and confused.
“Where?”.
“At my firm. I think one of my lawyers might need a new assistant. I’ll interview you and get you started. But you have to bring your professional game. This is serious and I won’t just give it to you because you need it. You gotta show me you’re capable”.
She nodded with a bright smile. I’m not saying this job is guaranteed for her, but it’s worth a shot.
“Are there any schools in the area. I wanna get Trent Enrolled as soon as possible”.
I took my phone out, searching the schools in her area.
“Uh yeah. The top one seems to be Cornelia F Bradford 16. Or you can enroll him in the Manhattan are″.
She smiled with a nod, then rested her hand on the arm of the couch.
“So, since you asked me a personal question. can I ask you one?”.
I exhaled giving a slight chuckle and a nod.
“Do you have kids?”.
I nodded, shoving my phone in my pocket. I was praying she wouldn’t ask me about a wife or girlfriend. I’m just getting over Regina's death, but it’s still a hard topic to talk about.
“Yes a little girl, she’s 8″.
She smiled, looking down at the ground then back at me.
“How do you make sure she becomes a well rounded women? It’s just me with Trent and Titan now, and now that Dominic is out of our lives, I wanna make sure they have the best living skills, skills in general”.
I nodding in understanding as she spoke.
“Just time, and correction. And also leading by example and the men you allow in your life in the future. If you want them to be good students, you work with them, you read to them, take them to museums, discovery adventures. Those are all the things that build up a young scholar. Enroll them in sports, not only does that teach discipline but also opens the door for many things for them”.
She laughed lowly and shook her head.
“I’m not laughing at you, just the fact that Trent said yesterday he wanted to get into sports. I think I wanna get him in as many as possible for each seaso-”
“Yeah, it’ll help him decided what he enjoys more and what he’ll wanna stick with”.
She smiled. She was a pretty young girl. Seemed to have a good head on her shoulder despite the situation she’s in. There was a awkward silence between us before I stood to my feet.
I cleared my throat a little and looked at my wristwatch.“I think you’re suppose to be going to speak to Neal today around 4″.She nodded, standing up as well and walking me to the door.
“Right Right. So tomorrow am I suppose to drive all the way to Manhattan so we can go over this case”.
I laughed and nodded my head.
“yeah, these are the breaks. Just trynna make a good life easier”.
“Well I appreciate your help. I’ll talk to you later I guess”.
“Right... Uhh Goodbye”.
I watched as she closed the door, leaving me feeling weird. Who the fuck says goodbye instead of just bye. I shook my head at myself before getting on the elevator and heading downstairs.

Tiana
4:50 pm
“Trent, they’re going to ask you a few question and you have to be honest ok”.
Here we are at the station, giving our recorded testimonies. I had no Idea that they would also ask Trent for his but obviously they needed one from him too.
“What’s the question going to be about?”.
I took his jacket off, laying it across my lap
“About Dominic...When he use to hit me. They need you to tell them how it happened, why it happened and who broke it up”.
Smacking his teeth, he gave me a upset face and shook his head.
“I don’t want too”.
He whined. I shook my head, grabbing him by his shirt and pulling him gently towards me.
“Hey, you have to. Do you want him to come back and we be unhappy?”.
Shaking his head furiously I nodded.
“Ok then, be honest. No matter how scary the question is. Ok”.
Taking a breath of air he nodded, scooting himself into my lap, he laid his head on my shoulder.Looking down at my phone, I watched as a unknown number flashed across my screen. Scrunching my eyebrows together, I unlocked my phone and read the message.
From: 212-629-5555
It’s Kingston. Wanted to go over you case a little more tonight. Umm can you come to my office.
I shook my head to myself.
To: Kingston
I can’t I have no sitter for Titan, Are you able to just come back to my place
“We’re ready for him”.
My focus was broken as one of the detective came into the waiting room. I nodded, nicely pushing Trent from my lap and kissing his cheek.
“I’ll be right here, remember be honest ok?”.
He nodded, taking the hand of Neal and walking out of the room. I waited until they were out of my sight before focusing back on my phone.
From: Kingston
I can. I have to get my daughter ready for bed, so I’ll be there around 8:30
To: Kingston
That’s fine.
I slipped my phone back in my purse and looked at Titan in his strolled. Taking him out I placed many kisses on his on his face. His giggle was so soothing. No matter what, I’m glad I have him.

5:02 pm
I sat in the chair in a office, enjoying my chips and juice that the police officer gave me when I came in here. At first I was scared, but I’m ok now. They said if I didn’t want Dominic to come back, I had to tell what I seen and how it made me feel. That’s easy because he always mad me feel, weird.“Hi Trent. I’m Detective Neal and this is Detective Michael. We’re going to ask you a few questions. It is ver-”
“I know I know, very important that I tell the truth”. They both laughed. I didn’t know what was so funny, I just was telling them what they was going to say. I watched him as he grabbed a little radio thingy and pressed a button.
“November 2nd 2016. The time is 5:04 in the afternoon. Witness Trent Williamson.
So Trent, tell me about Dominic”.
I nodded, looking at the radio in the middle of the table, then drinking some of my apple juice.
Trent: Well he use to be Titi’s boyfriend. But I don’t think he is anymore
Neal: Why isn’t he
Trent: Because before he went away they were mad at each other
Neal: Do you know why they were mad?
I nodded my head. I know Titi told me not to, but I always listen to them talk.
Trent: He brought toy guns in the house. Tiana doesn’t like toy guns in the house or the big plastic bags.
Neal: What kind of plastic bags?
Trent: The kind that made the living room really foggy. It smelled really bad. So so bad that we had to stay in the room if he took it out the bag.
I watched him nod to himself and look at the other officer, then back at me.
Neal: Had Dominic ever hit you, or Titi?
I looked at the glad window. I had to remember to tell the truth. I use to wasn’t suppose to but now I can. I nodded my head.
Trent: Yes. He hit her in the head and when I cried he gave me a whooping and told me to stay in the closet.
Neal: Why did he hit TiTi?
Trent: Because she was grabbing me and Titan to leave. And then another time because he kept bringing the bags from the laundry home
I watched Neal smile then turn the radio off and rubbed my head.“You did good skippy?”.
I laughed throwing my head back and putting more chips in my mouth. Who’s skippy.

What if non-human beings are not just spectators ‒ witnessing the world’s slow motion destruction? What if they, too, mourn their dead, and weep for the extinction of other species? What if global warming is triggering the birth of spiritual feelings in non-human beings?
Humeau has heard tell of whales beaching themselves, embracing death by suffocation under their own body weight for no one else but themselves. Dolphins, too, committing mass suicide ‒ tired of the sea and life therein. Chimpanzees are piling up rocks ‒ apparently building some kind of temple. Reindeers are self-inducing magicmushrooms, reaching states of ecstatic trance. Elephants wave branches at the waxing moon…
While some of these behaviours seem to be ancient, their number and complexity have increased in recent years. Mass extinction seems to be making animals more conscious of their own mortality; making them hope for some form of existence after death… Clear distinctions between animal and man (indeed, between nature and culture) are blurring. MIST descends:
A cold moon, seen from the below the newly risen sea, casts pale light throughout the space. THE MOONilluminates the exhibition’s uncanny scene, where the earth has partially sunk beneath rising floodwaters. On land the air is thick with an invisible layer of toxic gas. It is here that mutant denizens of MIST live outtheir attenuated, half-conscious days. Reduced to living-death, these creatures are mere lungs, tracheas ‒ respiratory organs ‒ slowly mutating into industrial waste.
A marine mammal is suffocating (THE DEAD), facing the sky. Another one (THE PRAYER) is lifting its bodyup, searching for some form of transcendence, perhaps invoking celestial bodies. A group of half-submergedbeings (THE BREATHERS) look on, performing a breathing sacrament, as if to vouchsafe the former’s passage into another realm through a personal offering to the lunar deity ‒ projecting ocean water and whale mucus, sourced during a research expedition off the west coast of British Columbia. All the while, an invisible entity(THE MYTH TELLER) is heard moving throughout the entrails of the building, narrating the first non-humanmyth of a future deluge. Behind a wall, a large wave seems to have left various disembodied respiratory tracts (WASTE) lying on the shore. In another room, at the back of the gallery, we enter the deep sea. In this oceana shoal of fish (THE DEAD, THE DANCERS, and THE AIR) are performing a non-human dance, to resuscitateone of their dead.
As Joseph Campbell tells it ‒ the recognition of mortality and the requirement to transcend it is the first greatimpulse to the birth of myths and religion. MIST envisions a world in which mass extinction has accelerated to a point of no return; where non-human beings have become spiritual, capable of self-transcendence and mystical experience, because they have no other choice. It is as if promethean punishment (the trauma of reason) were visited on them for humanity’s crimes in the pursuit of planetary mastery.
In keeping with her interdisciplinary approach to world-making, Humeau has developed this new suite ofworks through consultation with numerous specialists ‒ probing the outer reaches of their competence insearch of suggestive material. Drawing upon a range of domains (including behavioral science, anthropology, environmental studies, evolutionary psychology, developmental biology, cognitive science, primatology, ethology, archeology, history, and climate change studies) MIST’s conceptual universe is bricolage of exotic and unlikely facts. The resulting sculptures constitute their synthetic interpretation: They are players in a granddrama; science-fiction in action; actors on a stage; showing (as much as some scientists have begun to tell)that something major is afoot…
MIST’s cast are more than imagined. They are virtually real ‒ the products of what philosophers call a thought experiment or possible universe; a kind of filter bubble. However strange the content, the internal consistencyof Humeau’s world is compelling. Indeed, MIST is unsettling in the degree to which it overlaps with the realm beyond the gallery, incorporating elements from real life, such that frisson is provoked by how much the visitor (almost unwittingly) enters into the artist’s imaginary. The more Humeau’s speculative ecosystem ingests, digests, and reworks things beyond it (issues of the day, cutting edge science, for instance) the more powerfulits impact. A large drawing (HIGH TIDE) maps MIST’s heady cosmology.
Humans are the dominant influence upon the global climate. In a very real way, the environment has beentransformed into us. Every particle we breath, every drop of water comes from human origin or has been impacted by humans. In MIST, Humeau pushes this scenario towards a dramatic conclusion. At once spectacular and disconcerting, the artist’s poetics capture an atmosphere of folly and fascination perfectly in tune with our times.

“Aussie Fast Bowler Mitchell Starc sets new record with his 27th wicket of the 2019 tournament…. new record for most wickets in a single World Cup breaking the record previously shared with Aussie paceman Glenn McGrath.”
BK, do you remember that cricket-themed sports bar/restaurant in Boston that you once wrote an article about? i’m not sure if they are still around… but i thought about it and wished to have a drink there yesterday. i imagined ranting about the game in random…..what made Boult go for a full toss for the last ball in super over? how did Boult end up stepping on the boundary rope over the Stokes catch? have Boult yorkers always looked easy on pitches like Lord’s? i imagined trash talking umpires in random. on why was Boult denied the jason roy wicket on first ball, or about that smirk on dharmasena’s face later in the game after NZ review-lost over the Buttler LBW(or was it Stokes again?). not sure if i’m remembering these details right, I’m still in a daze from the devastation. i don’t think i will ever get over Boult being sporty and signaling six after the catchout-almost. when my son Johan, who is right now inside freezer, gets old enough, i am thinking to try and brainwash him into getting super-emotional on the nicest guys in cricket. only on them and no one else. if he turns out to be a nice guy himself, he may probably go ‘തള്ളേ നിങ്ങക്ക്‌ പ്രാന്താണ്’ and still humor the madness. #NZcricket
p.s. i discovered this Kane Williamson tweet handle parody only this season, a couple of weeks ago actually. and a good-read from Martin Crowe written in 2015 on Kane. feel like sharing here.
