Crossover event part 2

Jules: pov all of a sudden i'm woken up by a noise. Me and Sam are light sleepers, I look at the alarm clock and it says 4am the noise seems to be coming from the room next door sounds like a woman screaming to death it does not sound good. I look at Sam and the same thing crosses our mind. To grab our guns and go see what's going on. As soon as we are out of the door to our room a man runs out of the room next door leaving the door open i can see a woman half naked on the floor all bloody. I tell Sam to run after the guy and keep your phone ready. I will call 911, in the room I noticed the woman is dead. I call the front desk and tell them there is a dead body in room 1121 the woman was murdered and to send a security guy up. My name Is Jules and I'm staying in room 1122 with my husband Sam. We heard a noise and came running over. I tell the guy from the front desk on the phone I'm calling 911. 

Sam: pov as I'm chasing the guy he grabs a man that was heading into his room at gunpoint. He then locks himself in the closet with the hostage. I text Jules an update he took a hostage into a closet, she replies with i called 911 waiting for the guard to come up so I can come your way and negotiate. 

Jules: pov Sam texts me saying the guy took someone in the hall hostage in a linen  closet. I tell the operator my name and what hotel I'm staying at i tell her there has been a murder and the woman is half naked. I informed the operator that my husband chased after the guy who came out of the room. The suspect is now locked in a closet with a hostage. She tells me to stay put and wait for the police to show up. I tell her as she is saying goodbye I'm going to negotiate with him. I look around the room while I wait for the security guard. The security guard Dave just arrived and I caught him up on what was going on. I tell him to guard the door until the police get here and don't let anyone in. I'm going to help Sam negotiate.  

Sam: pov Jules starts to negotiate with the guy. He says his name is Fred, she asks him what went wrong today  and how, does he know the woman in room 1121 he says she was his girlfriend but he caught her cheating on him with another guy last week.

 Olivia: pov it's around 4 in the morning when  i get a call about a murder in a hotel room the woman who called it in said the lady was half naked. And her husband chased after the man who came out of the women's room and he now has a hostage in a closet just great. I call Lucy and tell her to come over. I have a case. I knocked next door and asked my neighbor if she could watch Noah. I have a case. I tell her she does not need to do anything except stay in my apartment until Lucy comes. Thankfully she says yes I then called my Squad while i'm getting dressed to notify them about the body. Carisi will watch Amanda's kids since he is home.

Kate: pov  i was awoken by my phone ringing at 4 in the morning i got a call about a murder the woman was found half naked in a hotel room the 911 caller said that a man was seen running out of her room and the suspect now has a hostage in a linen closet. While Castle made coffee I quickly got dressed and grabbed my phone and pills. For later I take them at a set time every day. I call the boys while Castle Changes my ampstrip.  We grab our coffee and head out the door. I grabbed a banana on my way out of the loft. Me and Castle are riding together. Esposito and Ryan are also riding together at the crime scene. I notice Captain Olivia Benson walking in with her squad . She says the woman might have been raped.

Olivia: pov We arrive on scene that is when I notice Kate Beckett walking in with her team said she got a call about a murder. I tell Joe to interview the staff with Richard Castle  and Javier Esposito. Amanda Rollins and Kevin Ryan are interviewing the front desk employee. Fin Tutuola is  going to search the hotel room. Me and Kate are going to interview the woman who called 911. I asked the security guard at the crime scene where the woman went and he said to negotiate with the man to see if he would let the hostage go. I said that is a dangerous thing to do unarmed. Dave said oh no she was armed with a gun, she looked like police to me i can tell a cop when i see them. Dave gave us directions to which way the lady went.  

Kate: pov As we get to the hallway the guard told us she went I can see the woman and her husband. They both have their  guns pointed at the door and the woman is negotiating. I tell them both to drop their guns. 

Olivia: pov all of a sudden it hits me I know these too people from a past case the guy fled to Canada and took 2 hostages and his kid.  It's Jules Callaghan- Braddock and Sam Braddock I tell Kate I know these 2 they are police with the SRU in Canada their job is hostage negotiation and both of them are trained snipers.

Sam: pov  Jules is negotiating with the guy when all of a sudden I see Olivia Benson walking down the hallway with another detective. She says her name is Kate and she is an NYPD Captain with the 12th precinct homicide unit.

Kate: pov Liv tells me the man and woman are police officers with the SRU in Canada and they are trained negotiators and snipers. Sam says so much for vacation. To be continued. ……..

Ryan: pov me and Esposito get to go in first, Castle is going last since he is staying and so is his mother if she doesn't have plans. It's hard seeing her like this, hooked up to a bunch of monitors. Hope you feel better Kate. Lanie, who I didn't see in the room, says Kate is doing so much better than earlier.

Fin: pov Liv sent me to the gift shop to get a get well soon balloon and card. The card we all signed. It was her idea. In the room Liv says to Kate you have to learn how to slow down. I understand the control freak in you wanted to solve the case but you are sick and have heart issues. I need to have my friend around and not be in the hospital. Kate says I'm sorry I should have been more careful. That is a lot of monitors. Joe and Muncy are next to visit Kate.

Elliot: pov Esposito what I don't understand is if she was sick why continue to solve the case.

Esposito: pov Elliot man you don't know Kate like me or Ryan do even Liv and Fin understand Kate she is a control freak, been one since her mother was murdered and her days at the academy. She doesn't like things she can't control. Elliot it's your turn with Ayanna. He says he doesn't like hospitals since his wife died. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Elliot: pov she died in a car bomb Richard Wheatley is the guy responsible for her death.

Ayanna: pov so thankful Ryan warned me that Lanie is sitting there otherwise she would have scared the crap out of me. I can tell this is bothering Elliot. Hey, if you don't want to stay in her room you don't have to. I notice all the monitors, especially the heart ones, she has an Iv in her arm, an oxygen mask on and a few other wires.

Liv: pov me and Kate agreed that we need to interview the girls which me and Fin will do, with the help of the others. I also want to talk to the woman who slapped the tattooed guy. Me and Fin will each be in a room with another detective while the girls are being interviewed.

Muncy: pov If this guy was a pedophile shouldn't he have victims/survivors of assault. Liv who has been cleared by the medics suggests we post about this guy asking if anyone was assaulted by him we might catch our killer this way because I doubt Boris did it.

Martha: pov I'm sitting with Castle in Katherine's room, a nurse is checking her vitals and is asking if she wants some food. Lanie is going to grab some food before she heads back to work. She will be back later tonight and tells Richard to keep her updated.

Kate: pov Lanie says don't give me that look, I have to get back to work. The nurse named Wendy switches me to nasal oxygen and then comes back with some healthy soup for me, at least it does not taste bad. After eating I start coughing again, Wendy is back to take my empty bowl and give me another nebulizer treatment which should only take a few minutes.

Wendy: pov I put the TV on to distract her for a bit, I can tell she is in pain again. I ask if she wants more pain meds. Her husband says she won't ask even if she is in pain. Castle says to give her more. Once her nebulizer treatment is done I switch her back to the oxygen mask.

Castle: pov I have been keeping Alexis and Jim updated, he should be here any second from now. Alexis is coming after school possibly with Dave. I can tell Kate is very tired. I text Jim Kate's room number.

Jim: pov it's hard seeing my little girl like this. I ask Castle how she is doing, he says stable which is great to hear. Katie you can't keep doing this to me. He mentions Lanie had to get back to work.

Martha : pov the 4 of us are watching a movie in Katherine's room while playing a card game.

Kate: pov Liv is nice enough to send me a link so I can watch some of the interrogations virtually. She knows how upset I was about missing out on the interrogations because I'm sick and in the hospital. She and Elliot are interviewing the first girl.

Liv: pov the girl named Shawna didn't want to say anything since she is scared. After comforting her and being honest she said she would talk only if Elliot left the room. Once she started to talk the case started to make more sense.

Muncy: pov Ayanna and I are interviewing one of the girls named Tiffany, I don't know if it was something I said or if she felt safe with me but she started to talk.

Fin: pov Esposito usually interviews people whose loved one or friend died so he knows how to show compassion and empathy, which is good during a case like this. We are interviewing one of the undercover officers Ayanna had undercover.

Joe: pov me and Ryan are interviewing the other undercover detective i let him take the lead because he has more experience interviewing people.

Jim: pov A nurse comes in asking if Katie wants something to eat. Katie says sure the Dr suggested cantaloupe because it's good for her so that is what the nurse brings her. After a few minutes I can tell Katie is about to fall asleep in her food. Once she is asleep we head downstairs to eat, thankfully across from the hospital is a sandwich place.

Castle: pov, it's Olivia calling. I quickly answered it, and she says they have a break in the case and wants Kate to know. That way, she is updated. Between the girls they interviewed and the 2 undercover detectives, we have a lead on the suspected killer. To be continued. …………

Fin: pov today had started off bad. The coffee/hot chocolate machine had broken, I had to call someone to fix it then we got a call about a brutal assault. Right now Amanda was at the hospital with the victim, Joe and Muncy were talking to witnesses. Me and Liv are taking care of the dead boyfriend. As a captain Liv has her radio patched into every police unit and 911 center in NYC in case of emergency. If we are the closest unit then we respond. As me and Liv are finishing up at the crime scene I hear from her radio a 911 call about a possible home invasion in progress. A man seen leaving the premises in a black suv home is owned by a police detective, once the address is said I know it's Elliot's house. Liv tells dispatch we are a few minutes away and will respond. I tell Joe and Muncy to follow the body to the morgue and keep us updated on the case.

Liv: pov me and Fin are first to arrive on scene since we were very close by. Kathleen is just standing there with a shocked look on her face. She tells me 911 told her to wait for officers to arrive and check the house before she goes in. Me and Fin cleared the house room by room, in the back Bernie and Eli are both tied to a chair and have duct tape covering their mouths. Once they are free I make sure they are okay. The EMT's have now arrived and are checking them both out. Eli says the guy covered their mouths after grandma started talking all crazy so the guy just left us here and ran away. I tell Kathleen to ride with her grandma to the hospital and I will ride with Eli, Fin can follow us in the squad car. I mentioned I will also call Ayanna to get in touch with Elliot if he does not answer. Kathleen says she was supposed to pick up grandma and Eli because dad called this morning and said he was on a stake out, but I got stuck in traffic on the way so I was late getting here. Maybe if I was not this would not have happened. Kathleen says dad won't answer his phone. In the ambulance I manage to get a hold of Ayanna and tell her it's an emergency. Thankfully no one is hurt but Bernie and Eli were tied up in the house, Kathleen got stuck in traffic and was late picking them up.

Fin: pov at the hospital Elliot and Ayanna come running in I tell them everything is okay. They were brought here as a precaution since the situation was very scary for them. Liv mentions to Ayanna there is a security camera at the end of the street. You might be able to follow the car that way, see where he is going or where he comes from. Ayanna says she will take over the case from us.

Muncy: pov it is ruff at the morgue the smell is awful and watching an autopsy is stomach churning. The ME has nothing yet and said he would call Captain Benson later if he found something.

Amanda: pov Liv is using the surveillance cameras near the crime scene to see where the guy went next Fin is seeing where the guy came from. I'm looking at the girl and boyfriend's life to see if anyone wants them dead. The pizzas Joe ordered just arrived so we all decided to take a break to eat and talk about the case.

Joe: pov Captain Benson comes out of her office saying Fin I need to speak to you it's important, I wonder what that is about.

Liv: pov I tell Fin our suspect is the one who tied up Elliot's family, Ayanna bells suspect it's the same person I need to call her to let her know maybe work together on this because it's our case. I decided to call Ayanna and let her know my suspect is also her suspect, she said she was just going to call me about it.

Joe : pov Captain Benson and Sargent Tutuola come out of her office and mention that our suspect is the same one as an organized crime case. The man tied up a cop's family this morning, luckily Bernie and Eli stabler were not injured. Me and Fin were the responding officers on scene after we had finished at our crime scene. Amanda says stabler, like your old partner, Fin says yes it was his mother and son.

Muncy: pov Liv says we will be working with organized crime for the rest of the case. It is decided Captain Benson and Sargent Tutuola will head over to the organized crime squad room to see what they have so far Amanda is left in charge of me and Joe, Carisi just arrived in the squad room to help us out.

Elliot: pov Liv mentions Amanda figured out who the guy is, she has Joe and Muncy looking into his life and where he is right now, Jet figured out where the guy lives thanks to the info Liv's squad gave her. Between both teams we managed to track down our suspect. It's all hands on deck Liv says this guy is dangerous so wear your vest. Her and Fin climb into the car, she says Amanda is bringing Joe and Muncy to his address.

Ayanna: pov once at the suspects address we pair up Liv says to Fin let's go inside, Elliot can pair up with Ayanna. I can tell that makes him very mad, Jet is paired up with Amanda since Joe's is with Muncy. Me and Elliot are clearing the first floor, the others are clearing the basement, second floor and attic. I can hear Liv and Fin shouting put your hands up, you are under arrest. Me and Elliot run upstairs not expecting to see him, our suspect all bloody hovering over his naked mothers body. The question is why is she naked, maybe I don't want to know. Why would he kill his own mother? To be continued. ……..

Liv: pov me and Elliot have not been talking since he went undercover again, today started out ruff me and Fin had to get up at 4am to visit a crime scene, the reason we did not send Joe or Muncy is because it was a brutal crime scene I don't know how the victim survived. Amanda just left to go interview her, I had Joe and Muncy doing the leg work on this, interviewing witnesses and looking up potential suspects. Me and Fin were looking into the victim's life.

Fin: pov I decided to head out and get us lunch from the deli nearby. After we finished eating everyone got back to work, Amanda told us what the victim said. With her description we were able to get a sketch made and pass it out. No new info is coming, Liv tells Amanda to go home to the girls and Carisi. She also tells me to go home to Phoebe, and says she is leaving in a few minutes. Joe and Muncy can handle the squad room for the rest of the night.

Liv: pov after calling Kate back I head home and get started on dinner which is frozen pizza. Me and Noah are having a movie night, after the movie we talk for a bit. I tell Noah to get ready for bed, I'm so tired but somehow managed to take a shower. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm asleep. In the middle of the night I suddenly woke up To someone banging on my front door. The man is shouting, let me in, open the door. I know you are there. It also sounds like my name. It's hard to tell who it is because they sound drunk or drugged and their words are slurred. This person sounds desperate to get into my apartment, thankfully Noah is a heavy sleeper. I'm starting to get scared. I grab my phone and run into Noah's room and call Fin. He sounds tired, he says he will be there in a few. The noise finally stops but I don't hear the person leave.

Fin: pov  When I arrive at her building I call to tell Liv it's just Elliot and he looks asleep on the floor in front of her door. I help Liv bring Elliot in and she calls Ayanna Bell to come pick him up. Elliot looks drugged, when Ayanna arrives she can tell something is up she asks me why I'm at Liv's apartment this early i say she called me though someone was breaking into her apartment to kidnap her or worse. She says oh i get it now i'm sorry about all of this, i hope you're okay Liv and Elliot did not scare you too much. I mentioned it might be a long night. Once Elliot is taken care of and with Ayanna, I make sure Liv is okay. It is decided I'm spending the night I let phoebe know. She says hope Liv is okay. on the way to work phoebe dropped me off some clothes. In the squad room Joe and Muncy mention how me and Liv still look tired after leaving work early yesterday.

Liv: pov I mentioned how I had a surprise visitor last night. Fin explains as much as he can without getting Elliot in trouble. Around lunch time Elliot comes storming into our squad room yelling saying he got taken off the undercover case thanks to me it's all my fault. He angrily asks why I told Ayanna about him being drugged, it ruined their whole operation. Fin tells him to lower his voice, he says stay out of this, I can tell he is drunk. He keeps going on. I tell Elliot did you not think showing up at my door like that all drugged,  would scare me because it did i thought someone was going to  burst in kidnap me again and torture me. He is getting way too out of control and angry. I have Amanda call Ayanna to take him home. Nothing I say will calm him down.

Amanda: pov I explain to Ayanna she needs to come pick up Elliot. He is drunk and screaming at Liv. She finally arrives, Fin and Liv have him in an interrogation room to cool off. They are watching him from Liv's office. She fills Ayanna in on what he said. Ayanna tells Liv and Fin, Elliot will be suspended for a week without pay for his actions. Talking to a superior officer like this, who was just doing her job is wrong and disrespectful. He will be forced to take anger management classes. I'm trying not to let my emotions show, the last 2 days are getting to me. 

Fin: pov it's been a few days and we closed our case Liv has been ignoring Elliot all week. Today in her office is a bunch of flowers with a card that says I'm sorry for being an ass. Will you forgive me xoxo your partner Elliot, there is also some candy. Which Liv shares with me for always having her back. After about 23 years on the job me and Liv are good friends and will always have each other's back. We discuss if she should forgive Elliot. She decides to talk with him and see what happens. she will make her choice later on what to do. I tell her let's invite him out to lunch so we can talk to him.

Elliot: pov I finally get a text from Liv it says still not sure if i forgive you but are you free for lunch me and Fin would like to talk with you. Ugh this does not sound good at all. At the restaurant Liv and Fin are sitting down waiting for me, I ask them what they wanted to talk to me about. Liv starts off with first you showed up at my apartment drugged which freaked me out,  i thought someone was going to  burst in kidnap me again and torture me, had to call Fin which then got him all worried and second you came to my precinct screaming and shouting at me which is no way to talk to a Captain or a superior officer Detective. The only thing is you make sure  this does not ever happen again Detective you got it. While Liv is in the bathroom Fin explains why me showing up at her apartment like that bothered Liv. I can't believe I'm so stupid and did not realize the reason sooner. 

Liv: pov we talked for a bit, I told Elliot it's in the past what happened so lets try and move forward. I might not forgive you for what happened but we can still try to be friends,  we then went back to the precinct.  To be continued. ……

Fin: pov Liv might kill me for bringing this up but who cares. While looking Liv directly in the face I say ever been, high and Captain care to explain to your detective's how it happened and one word it involves mushrooms.

Muncy: pov mushrooms how does one get high on mushrooms.

Joe: pov is that even possible like how.

Amanda: pov what, I need details.

Liv: pov we were working a case and the lady was found dead, she was  hot and wet. Turns out it was a rare species of mushrooms that caused her death and while we were arresting the suspect I looked into a pot that was boiling. Turns out he was cooking the mushrooms and I must have inhaled some of the fumes because next thing I know I'm fainting in the interrogation room.

Fin: pov while laughing i say Liv you forgot the best part were you said.

Amanda: pov Fin can't seem to keep it together.

Muncy: pov Sargent tutuola is laughing so hard I wonder what is so funny.

Fin: pov  I did not stab the captain with the pickle 

Joe: pov everyone starts laughing captain benson says did I really say that i do not remember saying that. But she does remember waking up in the ER after fainting.

Liv: pov never have I ever come face to face with a tiger. Everyone says what, I mention we had a case back in the day and my former partner Elliot came pretty close to being tiger food. 

Muncy: pov i asked captain Benson if her and detective Stabler were close. Sargent tutuola answered my question by saying yes, our captain had them take a psychological evaluation. 8 years into their partnership that's how close they were. The lady said if you split them up you lose your best 2 detective's. Captain Benson says it all started because my partner chose me over the job and so did i. We had a case this guy murdered a whole family and 2 kids were kidnapped, we had caught up to the guy and the kids. The guy had a knife and I got cut with it on the side of my neck. It was not a big cut, Elliott had a chance to save the boy instead of chasing after them, my partner stopped to make sure I was okay and in those few seconds it cost the boy his life. Later when Gitano caused an armed standoff I refused to shoot him, I did not want to endanger Elliot's life. That was when I transfered to computer crimes. By the way the little girl was unharmed and Elliot blamed me for the kids death.

Joe: pov what he blamed you that is so wrong 

Liv: pov yep said why did I get so close to him, the suspect and he can't always be looking over his back to make sure I'm okay. 

Fin: pov Liv it was not your fault you hesitated yes but no one is perfect and the guy cut your neck, thankfully it was not a bad cut, but it was, stabler's fault for stopping and checking on you and the boy died. Not your fault it was his he made that choice not you.

Amanda: pov Fin always says you and stabler had a special bond.

Liv: pov elliot was more than a partner, he was family, since i had no one other than simon my brother who is now dead. I was one of the first people to hold his son Eli, it all started when El had court so I offered to take Kathy to her obgyn appointment and we were in a car accident, I managed to get out of the car but her legs were stuck. They had to use the jaws of life to get her out. That is when Eli decided right then and there it was a perfect time to arrive into the world. We still have a special bond. A long time ago I even offered him my kidney if needed and he offered me his.

Joe: pov wait you offered him a kidney, don't people have to be the same blood type, for that.

Fin: pov what's even weirder is they are both the same blood type.

Muncy: pov no way that can't be. 

Amanda: pov what wow close is an understatement.

Muncy: pov I get that you and detective Stabler were close but what happened between you too.

Fin: pov one word Jenna, after 13 years of partnership he left Liv ghosted her for ten years.

Joe: pov  I ask who Jenna is. Captain Benson says a 16 year old girl, her mother was about to testify in a rape case but was murdered while walking with Jenna. We arrested the guy who killed her mother and the guy who gave him the gun, while at the precinct she shot them both and sister Peggy then shot up the precinct, injuring people, sister Peggy and the 2 guys did not make it. Elliot was forced to shoot and kill Jenna. It haunted him; it's the reason why he left. One day Cragen called me into his office and told me Elliot put his papers in, he never did say goodbye to me. He recently Said to me if he saw my face he might not have been able to leave.

Amanda: pov wow that is deep, must have been traumatizing.

Liv: pov it was he was forced to kill a child.

Fin: pov we had no idea it was going to happen, turns out she had just bought the gun a few minutes earlier on the street.

Muncy: pov have you ever had a suspect that got into your head, one that stayed with you after the case ended.  I can tell by Fin's face I should not have asked this question.

Fin: pov I tell Liv you do not have to answer this question.

Amanda: pov I say Henry Messner he is a messed up kid.

Joe: pov Liv leans in real close and lowers her voice.

Liv: pov I say even though he's dead, little things still trigger you and you hear his voice, see his face, smell the smell of your burnt flesh, the taste of vodka in your mouth, the feel of the cigarette being put out on your skin, the screams of Ms  Myers being raped.

Muncy: pov I feel so bad for asking this question. The atmosphere in the room turned very dark. Liv got up and said she has to get back to work, Fin you coming. They both headed to her office. I asked Amanda if she would  be okay because I didn't mean to upset the captain. Amanda says Liv is still working on that being okay. To be continued . …….

Liv: pov I told Bri and Elliot how I wanted to get clean and have not showered in 4 days. Bri says he and Fin talked with my Dr about this, says the supplies are in the bathroom so I can get clean. As long as my hair stays dry I can have a nice long bath.

Elliot: pov Brian gets up to fill the tub with water and bubble bath. He goes into her room to grab some pj's out of her drawer, I hear Brian shout I can't believe you still have my old NYPD shirt. Liv says it has too many memories to get rid of it. She also says she kept a few of Ed's after he died to remind her of him. We never got to finish our questions but can finish them another day. As I get up to leave Liv says thanks for hanging out with me detective, as she heads to the bathroom for her bath.

Liv: pov all of my stuff is ready so I can take a bath, I put my hair up and put on the shower cap the Dr gave me. How nice the water is at the right temperature, relaxation music is playing from some speakers. I climb in and let the warm water soothe my aching bones, I let all of my stress leave my body. I can't stop thinking about Elliot and what he did to me. 40 minutes later I hear Brian shout you okay in there, I say just getting out. Once I'm dressed in my pj's I head into the living room to watch a movie.

Brian: pov a few minutes into the movie Liv falls asleep with her head resting on me which is actually kind of cute. I made a light dinner for us. Liv went to bed early, Fin was coming in the morning to stay with Liv, thankfully he could work from home tomorrow since Amanda, Joe and Muncy had the case handled.

:time jump A few days later:

Fin: pov Today is Liv's Dr's appointment in the waiting room, I fill out the forms a nurse handed me. It has important questions about her concussion. Like symptoms And other stuff, I made sure to put that Liv is a former trauma victim. Her name was called and I followed her into the exam room. A male nurse came in to take her vitals. When he put the Stethoscope on her chest he intentionally touched her scars and licked his lips. This guy is bothering me. She has scans before the Dr will see her. The male nurse handed her a gown to put on. He helped her onto the gurney, in the scan room as he is, helping her get comfortable and pointing out the important buttons. I notice his hands grab Liv's pinning them down, I can tell she is starting to freak out. I see him whisper something in her ear. That is when I make a judgment call and barge in shoving the male nurse away. Behind me is the technician who is also concerned, he gets a Dr while I check on Liv who seems very frightened and is hyperventilating for some reason. Thankfully Liv is able to tell me what he said, which is. One move, lights out. I'll do you cold. Why does that sound so familiar to me? Omg he knows, he must have read the file. Once she calmed down a different Dr then the one that treated her at the ER walked into the room to check on her. I asked where the other Dr was. He said family emergency. The guy is at a funeral so I'm filling in.

Liv: pov fin stayed next to me during the whole scan. Back in the other room the neurologist said my scans look good, he said getting my stitches out should not hurt he then proceeded to take out my stitches. The male nurse had been arrested thanks to what he said. I'm lucky the scan room has cameras. I was told in a few days I can go back to work but on light duty. As we are leaving my appointment I notice castle and lanie sitting with Kate in the waiting room, it looks like Kate has a rash on her face. Lanie says with Kate's health issues it's better to play it safe than sorry, and yes it's a rash.

:Time jump a few weeks later:

Fin: pov it has been a few weeks since Liv had her concussion, she was cleared for light duty. Today was a slow day, Joe and Muncy just came back from getting take out for the squad. They both were talking about playing a 20 questions/ never have I ever type game, they asked Amanda if she wanted to join she said fine. In my opinion it's a good way for Captain Benson to learn some stuff about her squad. Me and Liv both said no. Amanda said come on you both probably have a lot of skeletons in your closet this could be interesting. We both agreed since we know all of each other's secrets.

Muncy: pov my first question is ever slept with your partner. Fin says Phoebe was his first partner but we dated years later. Amanda looks very embarrassed and Captain Benson says go on Amanda, Me and Fin both know you were sleeping with nick. Her face turns very red, Amanda says what about you Liv you and detective Stabler ever sleep together. Fin says been waiting 22 years for that to happen. I lost a lot of money on that bet and I still am. Liv says no, but I did sleep with Cassidy one night in 1999, then years later I dated him, Bri is my ex boyfriend. I dated him for about a year a few years ago. We're still good friends. Okay I did not see that coming.

Joe: pov I have one ever do something illegal or against the law. Fin says Liv can answer this one. I'm shocked when she says she illegally ran her DNA through the DNA database looking to see if she had any family members. To be continued. …….

Fin: pov Liv finally goes back to sleep all throughout the night a nurse is waking her up. In the morning the nurse takes off her oxygen mask. Joe and Muncy arrive early before work to visit Liv and give her some flowers. Amanda and I talk about her keeping Noah until Liv is released. A nurse tells me  McGrath  is here so I go into the hallway for a few minutes. McGrath tells me he does not trust Amanda to run the squad room so he is taking over and I need to get back to work instead of sitting with the Captain all day. I tell him I'm her emergency contact/medical proxy so I can't leave, because if something happens to her I have to sign the forms and with her being a past trauma victim I have to give consent for certain things. We manage to work out a deal.

Liv: pov a nurse is bringing me and Fin breakfast. 

Fin: pov our former Captain Donald Cragen is stopping by for an hour or 2 which is enough time for me to stop at the precinct and pick up some files, chief McGrath was kind of nasty to me this morning. Telling me I had to work while Liv is in the hospital. 

Don: pov I can't believe Liv is in the hospital because of something Elliot did, he had to have known this would happen. 

Liv: pov my head is pounding but it is nice to see dad. He says he saw Elliot recently, he wanted to know about his father. Dad says I understand Elliot did some stupid stuff that hurt you but you also have to remember he still cares about you and is trying to fixes the mistakes he made. It was nice to hear Dad talk about his life. Fin arrives back at the hospital with a box full of files and says McGrath is making me look at all of these cases. 

Fin: pov Liv finally falls asleep 2 hours later she wakes up,  a nurse comes in and checks her monitors and gives her some nausea meds, Liv is being given a form of tylenol regularly to help with her headache. She is also very dizzy and the room is spinning. Lunch for the both of us is more soup. I'm thankful it stays in her. It's now after lunch and Munch has arrived. I decided to take this time and talk with her Dr. 

Liv: pov Munch asks me  if me and Detective Stabler are sleeping together yet I say no we are still trying to figure out how to be friends after so long. Amanda had dropped off my phone in the morning, I texted Elliot,  Munch wants to know if we are sleeping together. He replies with Lol.

Fin: pov me and her Dr are talking he says I see no reason why she can't go home tomorrow does she have someone to stay with her. I mention that me and Brian are going to take turns caring for her. My boss is not that nice or considerate when it comes to giving me time off.  The neurologist hands me a bunch of papers with important info on them about her care once she is released. After Munch leaves I get back to the files until dinner, with the help of a nurse Liv has been able to go to the bathroom by herself.  Dinner was a light meal. I'm so happy Liv is finally getting some good sleep. Amanda stops after work with Noah to visit Liv. I tell him your mom is going home tomorrow, but you will stay with Amanda until she is a little bit better. The rest of the night was uneventful.  

Liv: pov in the morning I'm getting released Fin is making sure I'm ready once in the car the drive to my apartment is not long Fin gets me settled on the sofa when his phone starts ringing its McGrath bothering him saying SVU has a case. I can tell Fin is mad. McGrath wants him to show up at the scene and he tells McGrath I have no one to watch Liv. She can't be left alone and Brian is still at work. McGrath says he doesn't care, just find someone. 

Fin: pov I call Brian frantically asking if he can get off of work early to watch Liv. I know today's not your day but McGrath just called me in and someone has to watch Liv. Brian says he can be there in 2 hours. I have no choice but to call Elliot. I ask him if he is busy. He says no just doing paperwork, why are you asking?  I mentioned McGrath called me into work SVU got a case and someone has to be with Liv and the earliest Brian can get off work is in 2 hours. I text Brian the update in our plan.

Elliot: pov Fin asked me if I could watch Liv for 2 hours until Brian arrives. I said sure no problem, happy to help out. At Liv's apartment Fin is rushing around to get ready and make sure Liv is taken care of. He tells me the papers on the fridge have all the important info on them. In an emergency call me or Brian his number is on the fridge. Brian calls Liv's phone and asks me if I can stay an extra 30 minutes so he can stop at the store and pick some stuff up for Liv. I ask Liv if she is hungry. She says no, I convince her to eat some bread anyway. While I'm in the kitchen getting some water I hear Liv get up out of bed. Which Fin said to help her with and head to the bathroom. That is when I hear her throwing up. I rush into the bathroom to hold her hair up, but she says don't touch me just leave me alone Elliot I'm fine. But the floor needs to be cleaned. I did not make it in time. 

Liv: pov Elliot is cleaning the floor while I'm in the bathroom. I feel too gross to move and everything is spinning.   To be continued.  ……..

Elliot: pov I ask Fin if I can see Liv to make sure she is okay and why is no one in the room with her. He says someone is Brian's in there with her now, and for me to stop acting like I care, you're the reason she is here in the first place. I'm so mad right now that Brian is on the approved list and I'm not. Fin says ghosting someone does that to you.

Fin: pov Elliot is very upset he can't see Liv. I tell him if you keep acting like this I might not let you visit her at all. Elliot asks if he can talk to her alone. I then open the door and usher Elliot and Ayanna into her room. I put the food down and tell Brian let's go chat with her Dr while Liv lets out her anger on Elliot. I tell Ayanna to watch him because I don't think he can behave.

Liv: pov Fin and Bri go leave to talk with my Dr, i'm now stuck with Elliot in my room, my anger towards him is insane and so is my headache but I'm also grateful he is alive. I'm holding my bear Bri gave me when Elliot says Liv baby I'm so sorry I did not want you to get hurt over this. I angrily say don't call me that detective Stabler. It's Captain Benson.

Ayanna: pov ouch this is ruff and awkward a few minutes later Fin and Brian come back in the room talking. Fin says since Liv can't take anything stronger than tylenol or Advil her Dr is trying to figure something else out, he also says the dark is an issue but with her being sensitive to the light they will have to try and figure out how to solve the issue. Brian says the bear I gave her glows in the dark and can be warmed up, to help her head not hurt as much. Captain Benson says Bri thanks for the gift, you can go home you don't have to stay Fin is. As soon as she says Bri I can tell Elliot is about to explode. Fin says to Brian, I have off tomorrow and dad and munch are stopping by sometime tomorrow in the morning and afternoon, so depending on which one of us gets a case the other spends the night he says fine. Muncy and Joe will visit tomorrow on the way to work.

Elliot: pov fin pulls me in the hallway while Brian says goodbye to Liv I ask if I can have a few of the days to help take care of Liv and Fin says no not going to happen. But I will let you visit her. Fin is getting on my nerves. I tell him I'm her partner and you are not, so stop controlling her and making decisions behind her back. Fin starts to laugh and say behind her back this was her decision she is angry at you don't you get it. She needs time to think, you keep doing stupid stuff like this and losing her trust. Fin says It's getting late and you should get home.

Fin: pov a nurse comes in the room and gives her some more nausea meds, that way she can eat some soup thankfully it stays in. It's starting to get late, her head is really bothering her, after a while she finally falls asleep with her head resting on Brian's bear. I hope it helps I make sure her blanket is covering her, I know in a few hours a nurse will be in to wake her up. It's now 2 am and I'm woken to the sounds of Liv screaming. She is having a very bad nightmare, i don't want to scare her but she needs to wake up. I calmly call her name and tell her it's okay, you're safe, finally she wakes up crying saying Lewis killed Elliot he tracked him down and killed him. I tell her Elliot is okay, you were just having a very bad dream. Liv is hyperventilating and won't calm down. I think her PTSD is acting up, thankfully they are keeping a night time Dr at the hospital just in case she needs him. I hit the call button and a nurse comes running in.

Liv: pov I'm emotional from the nightmare, i'm having trouble breathing which is scaring me.

Fin: pov I explain the problem to the nurse and she runs and gets the night time Dr. I told him when she was attacked 8 years ago the guy pistol whipped her on the head, among other things and I think the concussion is triggering her. She keeps saying she needs to see Elliot make sure he is okay. She won't calm down and is hyperventilating badly, me and the Dr agree for me to call him because they can't sedate her because of the concussion. The Dr puts an oxygen mask on her face and tells her to take deep breaths.

Elliot: pov in my sleep i hear my phone ringing it must be my dream. I wake up and reach for the phone so I can answer it. It's Fin why is he calling me at 2 in the morning something must be wrong. I ask him if everything is okay with Liv, he says she had a bad nightmare and won't calm down. Since she is hyperventilating me and her DR decided to call you. She needs to see that you are alive. I quickly get dressed and run out the door. A nurse is waiting for me to take me to Liv's room, the nurse says they are only doing this because of Liv's PTSD and nightmares.

Liv: pov a nurse quietly knocks on the door before opening it, Elliot walks in and starts trying to apologize. I tell him to stop apologizing, save it for someone else. Elliot gives me a hug and talks with me for a few minutes. Once Elliot leaves the nurse comes back in to check on me and ask me some questions. My head is pounding. To be continued. ……

Elliot: pov while in the bathroom at the oc headquarters I hear someone say can you believe it Elliot Stabler Is dead, the other detective says no I can't imagine how Captain Benson is taking the news they were partners for 13 years back in the day, the first detective says I heard there was an ambulance out front of the 16th precinct today. The second detective said, isn't that the precinct SVU is at. The first detective says yes, I heard the captain fainted when she heard the news.

Fin: pov a while later Liv asks if I can call Ayanna and see if Elliot's kids and mom are okay this must be hard on them losing both parents so soon.

Ayanna: pov I hear Elliot running from the bathroom shouting get the keys it's Liv. I ask what happened in that bathroom and is she okay? He said no. I'm still so mad that we could not tell Liv he was alive beforehand. My phone starts ringing its Fin, i tell Elliot hold on my phone is ringing might be important oh sh*t why is Fin calling me. Is he trying to get a hold of Elliot this way?

Fin: pov I call Ayanna, and tell her Liv asked me to call you. She wanted to know if Elliot's kids were okay and how they were handling the news of his death. Liv would have called herself but she didn't take the news too well. I'm in the Er with her. She fainted when she heard the news and has, a bad concussion. As soon as I said that I heard Elliot in the background ask who it is on the phone we need to Leave, she said Fin. All of a sudden all of my anger towards Elliot comes out and without even realizing it i'm yelling at him You f*cking a** hole, you couldn't even tell us in advance. You piece of sh*t do you even know what you caused you selfish a** hole fu*k you. All of a sudden from behind me I hear Liv say lower your volume Fin it's bothering my head and I give you permission to chew him out, I feel so guilty now. I know Elliot and Ayanna heard her. I go into the corner of the room to continue my rant at Elliot. From behind me I hear Liv say I have to pee Fin. I have no idea what to do. She is attached to all these monitors and I'm on the phone. I tell Ayanna I have to go. Liv has to go to the bathroom. Let me get one of her nurses. She says, text me which hospital you are at.

Amanda: pov Fin texts me that son of a bit*h, was alive this whole time. I text who?

He text back Elliot that Jack a**. He says Liv should be good in a few days, Brian is coming by later to visit and will be helping him with taking care of Liv. Fin told me this is between us but Elliot had to fake his own death that's all I can say.

Muncy: pov wow that is a really nasty thing to do could he not tell her in advance, save her all this trauma.

Cragen: pov I get a call from Fin by the tone in his voice I can tell it's bad and urgent he says Elliot faked his own death and did not tell him or Liv beforehand so now I'm spending the night in the ER with Liv because she fainted and has a concussion. Fin says can I call you tomorrow, I say sure.

Munch: pov Fin is calling me, must be important, he tells me everything that happened I tell him I will try to make it tomorrow to visit her.

Liv: pov one of my nurses comes in and whispers something to Fin. He says Brian is here which is a perfect time for Fin to get something to eat for us. Since we did not eat lunch. Brian has a small conversation with Fin who then goes to find us some food. How nice Bri brought me a stuffed animal and a blanket. He is helping me drink some water. He was warned by Fin I might throw it back up. Which I did, a nurse comes in to clean up the mess I just made. Thankfully the blanket and bear were spared from the barf.

Ayanna: pov I can tell Elliot feels very guilty. Fin is nice enough to text me which hospital they are at. In the car on the ride there Elliot seems upset. In the hospital I ask the front desk lady which room Olivia Benson is in and says she can't give out that info. I ask if she knows what her condition is and she says I can't tell you that info only next of kin or her emergency contact/medical proxy can. Elliot says she has no next of kin. The nurse says yes, her son counts as next of kin. and since you're not on the list of approved people you will have to ask Fin if you can visit her. She says I have to ask at the nurse station.

Elliot: pov I tell her I'm Elliot Stabler, Olivia Benson's former partner. She says very rudely if you had not ghosted her for ten years you would be on the list. She says sorry I can't tell you anything only Fin can and he is busy getting food for him and Liv, but if you want to wait he should be back soon.

Ayanna: pov Elliot is getting very frustrated and angry with this lady. I tell him to calm down and let's wait for Fin.

Elliot: pov I notice Fin walking by with food in his hand. I told him the front desk lady wouldn't tell us her room number or tell us anything about her condition and she was very rude to me.

Fin: pov I say since everything with Lewis and her PTSD they had to change who is allowed in her room to only approved people. To be continued. ……

Kate: pov it is now the next morning, me and Liv are going to interview the living victims because we are 100 percent sure she killed the guy. In the interrogation room Liv asks the woman some questions about what happened to her and did she know he had a tape of them. She said no, I asked if she knew of any living victims she said I want a lawyer I told her you are his only living victims so that is enough for motive. She confessed to everything saying she was his only living victim. Before Liv and her detectives left we closed up all of the loose ends we had on the case.

Liv: pov we are now back at our precinct doing paperwork. Amanda is walking back into the precinct from getting us all lunch. I'm standing in front of Fin's desk when I hear over the radio 10-13. Officer down, I repeat an officer has been shot badge number 6313. I just know it's Elliot who's been shot, it's Ayanna Bell's voice on the radio saying she needs a bus.

Muncy: pov Captain Benson all of a sudden turned very white and did not look good at all her whole body, is shaking. Fin is trying to get her to sit down, she says to him get the key let's go, he says no way you're driving in this condition.

Liv: pov all of a sudden on the radio Ayanna says never-mind cancel the bus. Detective Stabler did not make it. A moment of silence will follow for the deceased officer. No he can't be dead.

Muncy: pov Captain Benson looks very distraught all of a sudden she faints hitting the floor pretty hard Fin says we need a bus for her, saying i knew this day would come but I hoped it would not happen this soon. He says Liv is suffering from a form of severe emotional distress. She must know the officer very well.

Fin: pov i'm checking Liv for injuries when Muncy asks who this detective Stabler is that died.

Muncy: pov He says they were partners for 13 years, 23 years ago. They were first paired together in 1998 she was a rookie and he was her senior officer. Then he left and ghosted her for ten years wow.

Amanda: pov Liv starts to come to. Fin is telling Liv to stay down and not to get up. You hit your head pretty hard. He says it's okay I got you, let it all out. He has me hold her head so she does not move it.

Muncy: pov I have never seen her this way so heart broken. Hearing her say she should have made more of an effort and not ignored him so much even though he ghosted her for ten years is sad. Her distress is very concerning. Fin is trying to calm her down since she is crying so much.

Joe: pov the medics arrive and Fin is explaining to them what happened. She just found out her former partner died, she fainted and might have hit her head. Fin tells the medics she is a former trauma victim. Liv is kind of numb to it all, the medics put a neck brace on her just in case and hook her up to monitors and insert an IV, the female medic is shining a light in her eyes to see if she can follow the light which she is trying to do. An oxygen mask is placed on her face, Fin is leaving Amanda in charge since he is riding with Captain Benson, and says he will call McGrath when he gets to the ER.

Fin: pov it is very hectic in the ambulance since Liv is very distraught and throwing up. I'm trying to calm her down so the medics could look her over for injuries. At the ER in the trauma bay the Dr is trying to get her to follow the light. Because of her past trauma I'm allowed to stay in the trauma room with her, the Dr is concerned with the fact that she might have a concussion on top of the emotional distress. They put oxygen and heart monitors on her and are taking her for emergency head and back scans. The movement of the gurney made her throw up. I'm in the room with her trying to calm her down, she says her head is pounding. Let's hope she can stay still so they can get the pictures they need of her head and back. Back in the trauma room the Dr is looking at her head to see if her cut needs stitches because she has a little bit of blood stuck to her hair. 6 stitches and 40 minutes later another Dr who is a neurologist said he looked at her scans and she definitely has a bad concussion but nothing is fractured or broken and she is lucky there is no swelling, she can also take off the neck brace. They switched her to nasal oxygen.

Elliot: pov Ayanna should I be worried I texted her over 2 hours ago letting her know I did not die.

Ayanna: pov maybe she is busy with a case and can't answer her phone.

Liv: pov I'm being wheeled into my room on the gurney, the movement is making me dizzy and I feel like I have to throw up which I do. I can't believe Elliot is really dead. Once I'm settled in my room Fin calls Amanda to update her and to tell Carisi to pick Noah up from school, he also calls McGrath to update him on my condition. Fin asks if he can call Brian, and says he will be most likely to help us out. Brian and him talked for a bit on the phone. Fin said brian has to work late but will be over later and he is trying to get a few days off so he can help me with you. A nurse came in and said she was giving me something for the nausea. I tell Fin maybe it was my fault he left and ghosted me for ten years he says no don't think that way it was not your fault at all. Me and Fin reminisce about the good old days with Elliot which makes me cry harder. I can't believe he is gone. To be continued. ……

Muncy: pov She mentions that there was a wood chipper in his backyard which means he kills the girls. I was not expecting him to kill her on the video. Everyone else also had the same thing happen in their tapes which is sad.

Liv: pov I know Amanda talked with a living victim, she might be the key. It was starting to get late, Castle and Ryan are running out to get some pizzas while we work. Which consists of watching more videos. Me and Muncy are now on our 3rd video, I can tell she is having a hard time watching them.

Kate: pov the dead guy kills all the women the same way by choking them or putting a pillow over their mouth since it is quiet, on my 3rd video with Joe I notice something odd. The guy has a gun with a silencer pointed at the woman's chest and pulls the trigger killing her which is not his usual motive. I have never watched someone die the way I was shot, it's very traumatizing. I'm finding it very hard to breathe and I'm starting to hyperventilate. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest, I can tell I'm scaring Joe. I thought I got over it, seeing dead bodies that had been shot in the chest. I guess not. Joe mentions Captain Benson gets like this sometimes and he has to get Fin for her. 

Joe: pov Captain Beckett is breathing funny after watching that last video and rubbing her chest. I know she has a heart condition and I'm not sure what to do. I ask her if she is okay but Captain Beckett does not answer which is scaring me even more. We had a case recently that triggered Captain Benson's ptsd. So when my Captain is like this breathing weird I'm supposed to get Fin so that is what I do.

Fin: pov Joe comes running in the room saying Captain Beckett is breathing funny and rubbing her chest after watching that last video. I ask him to explain a little more and he does. I make sure to tell Esposito because he works with Kate and knows her better than everyone, he tells Joe to get Lanie. Liv and Muncy have now joined me,  Esposito and Amanda, it is quite obvious Kate is having some trouble breathing. It does not look the same as when Liv is having a ptsd episode.

Amanda: pov Esposito Is trying to calm Kate down and get her breathing back to normal, he asks if it's arrhythmia and she says. Not sure everything is pounding in my chest, it's starting to hurt a little. He checks her phone and says her heart rate is elevated, something definitely freaked her out. Joe is running with Lanie following behind him with her medical bag. Joe explains everything, it is all making sense now, the video they were watching most likely triggered Kate into a ptsd episode.  Liv sometimes has a ptsd episode, but I don't know if this is what Kate is suffering from. Esposito is on the phone with someone who Lanie explains Is Kate's Dr.

Lanie: pov I listen to Kate's heart and lungs. She definitely has an elevated heart rate and is having some trouble breathing. I then take her blood pressure, I'm doing everything to try and calm her down and not freak her out. I try to get Kate to cooperate with me. She is panicking pretty bad, I give Kate two puffs of her inhaler to see if it helps with her breathing. While rubbing her back I managed to calm her down a little. I tell the others Kate had severe trauma on top of being shot which caused  her to flat line in the ambulance, so she felt most of it like the chest tube being painfully inserted. This next part is going to be ruff. I have to give Kate her emergency heart meds and the injection burns  going in very badly. Esposito offers to hold her legs down so she does not kick me and Liv offers to hold her arms so she can't cover the spot I need. In Kate's panic she is trying to fight me on this that is why I need to be quick.

Muncy: pov Lanie said this is going to be ruff. She lifts Captain Beckett's shirt up and cleans the side of her chest she needs. As soon as she injects the medicine, Captain Beckett is screaming in pain and trying to curl into a ball but Sargent Esposito and Captain Benson  are not letting her. A few minutes later she starts to quiet down, her face is wet from crying. Fin had texted Castle and  detective Ryan who were out getting food. It is hard seeing a NYPD homicide Captain like this. Lanie said her heart rate should go down soon. She will check on it again in a few minutes.

Castle: pov I get Fin's text, me and Ryan rush back to the precinct with the food. I run into the room with Ryan following me Kate is sitting on the floor with Esposito and Lanie sitting next to her and Liv on the floor talking to her. Lanie is checking her heart rate and fills me in on everything. Everyone gets up to eat, I pick Kate up so she is resting on my hip like you would a toddler or small child. Her head is resting on my shoulder, I carry her to the break room so she can eat dinner. Kate is sitting on my lap with her head resting on my chest while everyone else is eating. I open her food so she can eat. Liv says she will talk to the living victim tomorrow, I'm trying to convince Kate to eat some food. She only ate a little to please Lanie. Kate fell asleep on me while Amanda is talking, everyone decides to call it a night. I ask Lanie if she can get her and Kate's coat since we are heading home now. I tell Lanie she can sit in the front since I'm putting Kate in the back since she fell asleep. 

Ryan: pov Castle, Kate and Lanie are leaving together. Muncy asks if Lanie lives with Captain Beckett and Castle, I say no but she does stay over if Kate is having health issues. Muncy says that it is nice of her to do that. To be continued.  ……..

Joe: pov me and Castle are heading out to get everyone food he suggested a really good Chinese place up the road. We ordered a little bit of everything. Castle made sure to order something healthy for Kate.

Muncy: pov as soon as Kate's shirt is lifted I notice a massive scar on her left side under her boob it goes from the left side of her chest and almost to the left side of her back. Lanie says after trauma like Kate had some people have something called post traumatic pain. It's where the trauma happened, causing emotional and physical pain, months even years later. Thankfully Kate does not have it that bad, just PTSD and pain sometimes when the scar is pulled or the area gets injured. Lanie Checks her blood pressure and tells Sargent Esposito to go downstairs to her office and get the pain meds that are for Kate, the liquid kind and the supplies needed for it. Lanie says i doubt she can swallow a pill in this much pain. As soon as Sargent Esposito arrives back in the breakroom, Kate is fighting with her and not wanting the meds. Lanie has Kate lay on her right side so she can feel around on her left, as she moves Kate's arm above her head she makes a loud noise. Lanie says everything feels okay on her side. Once Kate is sitting up, Captain Benson and Sargent Esposito are holding her still. Lanie grabs her arm and expertly inserts an IV into Kate's arm, tapes it down then injects the pain meds into it. Unlike other people, Kate might also need some oxygen since she is breathing heavily. Now in Kate's office, Lanie says for me and Fin to grab the pillows from the second couch and put them on the floor in front of the sofa Just in case she rolls off the sofa.

Fin: pov Ryan and Esposito helped bring Kate into her office. Liv is holding the IV line, once Kate is laying down on the sofa, Lanie brushes Kate's hair out of her face with her hand and gives her some oxygen. Said she should only need it for a few minutes. I could tell Kate is getting very sleepy. Lanie said these meds should get rid of her pain, since she is breathing heavily I can't give her the meds orally. Once she was asleep everyone except Lanie left Kate's office. Liv is in charge so we all get back to work. Castle and Joe just arrived with the food. Liv told him Lanie is in Kate's office, her scar pulled while they were trying to climb a brick wall; it was the only way to get in the house. Turns out there was another way, she mentions Lanie gave Kate some pain meds and some oxygen just in case did not want the post traumatic pain to get worse. She is sleeping now.

Amanda: pov i just got back from talking to the witness.  The Chinese food is laid out on the break room table. I update everyone on what the victim said while everyone starts eating, Ryan puts Kate's food in the fridge while Castle goes to check up on kate.

Castle: pov I quietly sneak into her office, Lanie is sitting in Kate's office chair. I ask Lanie how Kate is, she says had to give her the good stuff. Thankfully her heart rate is okay, just a little elevated.  I kiss Kate on the forehead and then go back to eating with the others. About an hour and a half later Kate wakes up. I can tell she is still in some pain, Her and Lanie go in the break room to eat their lunch together. There has been a change of plans and the captains are deciding which detectives and Sargent's are coming with. It is decided everyone except me, Ryan, Joe and Muncy will stay behind. 

Kate: pov we arrive at the dead guys house. Liv mentioned to me and Fin that she noticed the backyard has a wood chipper which is not a good sign. Everyone decides to take a room to clear, I'm in a back bead room looking around. Fin has found a secret basement with the help of Liv, Amanda is checking the kitchen and Esposito is in another room. I can hear Liv on the radio shouting her and Fin both found something. Turns out she found a hidden bookshelf loaded with tapes VHS and DVD format, labeled with names, dates and times. Fin found a secret room with a bed. Esposito comes over the radio saying he found what looks like a security room and he can see Fin moving on the computer screen.

Liv: pov this is worse than we thought the dead guy was a pedophile, I can tell. The house that is hard to get into, the security, the camera's, the tapes and the secret room with a bed. All of the tapes are loaded into boxes so we can take them back to the station. The crime scene people are combining over his house now.

Amanda: pov back at the station Joe and Muncy offer to watch the tapes, Liv tells them she does not think it's a good idea for them to watch them her and Fin will. Both of them mention there are a lot of tapes and watching them will take time. It is decided that me and Esposito will be paired together. Also paired together are Fin and Ryan, Liv and Muncy and Kate will be paired with Joe and Castle since it's an odd number of detectives. 

Muncy: pov the tapes me and Liv were watching are the VHS ones, same with Ryan and Fin. Ugh the reason we all have to watch these nasty tapes is because One of the women on the tapes might be the killer. Towards the end of the tape Liv says she has an idea about what happens next and it is not pretty. To be continued. ……

Kate: pov I'm happy me and Liv got to hang out recently. She is currently in my squad room with her detectives helping out on a case we just got. A man had been found dead with his cigar missing and i thought it was sexual in nature. Liv says this is ironic because my first case ever with Elliot was a man murdered in a car missing his cigar and my partner said is there a reason why you called us out here, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar an the guy on scene said well he is missing his, and Elliot said oh.

Liv: pov Kate is showing Muncy around her office which is very humbling. Yes I have a lot of awards and survived Lewis. But Kate survived being shot in the chest and went into cardiac arrest more than once. 

Muncy: pov wholly crap Kate's wall in her office is filled with article and newspaper clippings.  I read the headlines as I walked by. Homicide detective Kate Beckett shot at her Captain's funeral might not make it, homicide detective Kate Beckett fights for her life after funeral shooting, Kate Beckett returns to work after being shot in the chest, homicide detective Kate Beckett goes into cardiac arrest twice lucky to be alive and detective Kate Beckett arrests senator Bracken for mutiple counts of murder. There is a few others about a senator bracken, a captain Montgomery who was killed and a Joanna  Beckett who was murdered. Kate explains some of it to me. 

Esposito: pov Lanie said the guy was murdered around 1 and 5am. I'm looking at traffic cameras near the area where the body was dumped, Joe is looking for security cameras to see if there are any in the area where the body was found. Captain Benson is looking into the guy's life, Amanda is looking into his finances and Muncy. Is digging into his social media accounts. Ryan and Fin are talking with witnesses. Kate looks very excited coming out of her office with Liv saying they found his house. They both tell us Sargent Tutuola and I are in charge.

Liv: pov I tell Muncy to grab her coat and get in the car. At the house I realize it is surrounded by a tall brick wall. In the corner of the property  before the brick wall is a shed that is locked, I grab some bolt cutters and cut the lock. The shed has some junk in it but I don't see a door or anything that indicates this is a way into the house. I do not want to climb the wall in front of the house. Muncy says she has no problem climbing the wall and is over it in seconds. I know Kate might not be able to climb the wall. I say we could check the shed again. Kate says it will take too long, the wall is high enough for her to put her hands on it. She just has to use her non-existent upper body strength to lift herself up. As soon as she does that and starts to lift her leg up, she grabs her side in pain. Muncy jumps down and helps me sit her down. I ask her if she is okay. Kate says give her a few minutes. Muncy asks if she pulled a muscle Kate says no her scar pulled a little. I can tell she is in pain, but trying to hide it.

Kate: pov I'm afraid to move my arm because I know it will pull on my scar which is very painful. I know how to breathe through the pain.  Muncy is checking the shed. Liv knows what the problem is and does not bother me about it, just quietly asks if my heart rate is okay. I tell her it's okay for now. Turns out there was a hidden hatch underneath the carpet of the shed. I have to just work through the pain once inside the house we search every room. But find nothing useful. Liv says she will have Fin and Joe come by later and search the house again just to make sure nothing was missed, I tell her Ryan will come with them. 

Amanda: pov I manage to get a hold of a possible victim, she offers to talk with me but only at her house. Says the guy took her to this strange room with white walls and a gurney. There was a cart full of tools, and a blinking light on the ceiling. He started to assault me sexualy but I managed to break free and shoved the gurney into him and managed to escape this was years ago. Wow this sounds very bad.

Ryan: pov Back at the precinct the girls arrived back and said the house was hard to get into and they found nothing. Castle had just left with Joe to get some food, Amanda is talking with a woman who says she was sexual assault by the dead guy. I can tell something is up with Kate. Esposito immediately comes from the other room and says to Kate are you okay, she says fine. Esposito says don't lie chica  I can tell you are in pain. Liv explains how they were trying to climb a wall and Kate mentioned it was her scar that pulled a little and she was fine.

Fin: pov Esposito decides to call Lanie, just to make sure Kate is really okay we are now in the break room.  Lanie arrives with her medical bag, she asks Kate about how she is feeling and her pain level and to not lie. Lanie takes out a stethoscope and checks Kate's heart and lungs. Says she is breathing a little heavy but that is to be expected when you are in pain. Esposito runs to get an ice pack. Liv is helping Lanie by lifting up Kate's shirt a little so she can feel around her scar to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. to be continued. ………

Amanda: pov Liv comes out of her office and says thanks to Fin 

Fin: pov Liv says they got lucky. Someone spotted the same suspect trying to break into a house nearby. Once we arrived on scene we learned the suspect is still  in the house in an upstairs room. Turns out the lady is unharmed; she hit the guy over the head with something. Liv handcuffs him.

Joe : pov the suspect keeps saying it is in his DNA to rape he was born this way he is a product of rape. He can't help it.  Back at the precinct I can hear Sargent Fin asking Captain Benson if she is okay. Muncy asks if it is true about a rape gene Captain Benson says no. She thought about that her whole life. It's not true because look how I turned out. Muncy is so shocked she asks her question again. Can a product of rape be born with a rape gene or is that not a thing. Captain Benson says there is no such thing as a rape gene.

Amanda: pov Liv says to Muncy my mom was working in the cafeteria at Columbia university one night when a food salesman named Joseph Hollister raped her and 3 other women. She later became an English professor. And the antidepressants killed Joseph's career as a rapist and he killed himself. Muncy says that must have been hard on her, but what does this story have to do with what I was saying. Liv mentions that would have been spring of 67 and I was born February 7, of 68. My mom never got over it and was always drunk. That is how she died. Fell down a flight of stairs while drunk.  I can see Muncy trying to process what Liv just said and doing the math in her head. When it finally all adds up to her the shocked look on her face says it all. She now realizes Liv is a product of rape. Muncy says Captain Benson is amazing. Liv says I was a  reminded to her that she was raped. But she kept me because abortions were illegal at the time. She raised me and I have to thank her for giving me life.

Liv: pov Muncy asked how old I was when I found out. I told Muncy I was 13  when I found out i was a product of rape. My mom was drunk and lashed out at me, she looked at me and she said. she said I  wish I never had you because of the rape. And when I was 15 I overheard my mom on the phone once telling someone how can I love someone that was conceived by a monster. 

Muncy: pov wow I don't know what to say. Fin says he and Liv will interview the suspect.

Fin: pov the suspect admitted to everything. Liv said Captain Kate Beckett of the 12 the precinct invited her to hangout and she wanted to know if we wanted to join, I asked her if Esposito and Ryan would be there. She texted Kate and said yes Castle is also coming. I could hear Liv and Kate on the phone trying to decide what to do. Muncy suggested a bar so we could all get drinks. I said you don't want that becoming a bad habit. Liv says Castle does own a bar so we could grab some food there. 

Joe: pov Fin pulls me and Muncy aside and tells us. Liv does not drink vodka and can't be near anyone who drinks it. Once at the old haunt, me and Muncy ordered some drinks. Liv and Amanda were drinking a glass of wine. The boys had beers. Castle ordered our food. pizza, wings, breadsticks and salad. Captain Beckett seemed to get different food then us, Castle mentioned Kate can't eat certain foods. 

Liv: pov I decided to tell Amanda, Joe and Muncy about the ada we had that was always drunk. Fin says her coffee smelled like alcohol all the time and Cragen thought she was drunk most of the time. I say how she invited me out to drink the night before court, I didn't not drink but she drank a lot. The next day in court the judge asked her why she was late and she said she had been in a car accident. Which was not true. Later on instead of playing the recreated video of the crime she played one with the suspect's face. The judge asked her if she was okay and needed to be seen by someone. she said fine, the judge started to notice she looked drunk. A few minutes later he asked me to get a breathalyzer, I asked if it was for the suspect he said no the ada. Turns out she was drunk, and said we went drinking the night before I told him she was drinking, not me. Case got thrown out, afterwards she went to rehab to clean her act up.

Fin: pov before Liv could finish, Muncy asked if we are still in touch with her. Liv says a few months after she was stabbed to death in a bathroom, Liv watched her die. Amanda says no wonder you never told this story. It's very sad.

Kate: pov Muncy asked if we have ever been shot on the job. Captain Benson and Sargent Tutuola say no. Amanda mentioned hers saying thankfully nothing important was injured. Esposito mentions Ryan shot him in the butt once.

Amanda: pov kate mentions hers was very traumatic. She was shot in the chest at her Captain's funeral. Bullet hit her ventricle and pulmonary vein. She flatlined in the ambulance, a chest tube was inserted to help her breathe. They had to perform a thoracotomy to get access to her chest. She went into cardiac arrest during the emergency heart surgery. They had to use the internal paddles and had to do manual cardiac massages

Muncy: pov wow I can't believe you survived that Captain Beckett. Kate said she was on disability for 3 months, had to go to PT and still has side effects for it. Castle says Kate takes meds for arrhythmia, which she got from the shooting. We all talk for a little while later then head home for the night.
