We all heard about the casting coach, and how suspiciously people from working class backgrounds like Micheal Jackson (yes his dad had his music connections. But essentially mj was a slave and was arguably was the first black child star unless I’m missing someone) and Walt Disney (though not as bad) are painted as monsters while the actual monsters are protected for decades

I mean look at Judy Garland, she was a sweet person and she did help the LBGT in Hollywood and supported the civil rights movement

But her “crazy” behavior makes more sense because she was sexually abused at a extremely young age

And she not the only one, Shirley Temple, the boy who played at the first LA Dennis the Manis

Oh and the Peter Pan actor (a lot of people leave out the part where ALL of Hollywood basically says he can choke and die because he was “too” Disney)

But sorry about the Gen stuff, but the false rape accusations, maybe if you guys didn’t view men (especially white ones) the same way Nazis viewed the Jews while saying all the working class men were Weinstein.

Entertainment industry has been like that since the beginning of forever, probably less so when women weren't allowed to participate but still a thing I'm sure.

Jay North (Dennis the Menace) did ok, so did Shirley Temple, plenty of others not so much, more recently we can look at Drew Barrymore and RDJ who both had fairly public meltdowns and problems.

Drew was ruined since her first film was ET and Spielberg takes care of the kids on set, going beyond the legal requirements.

He just fell into the child actor pit, where he wasn't "cute" anymore couldn't get gigs and couldn't adjust to not being in the spotlight, the way he went and nobody knowing is awful to think about still.

Jackie Coogan, on the other hand was a different story.

His parents sucked and as a result there's a series of laws named after him California's Coogan Law all about protecting the earnings of child actors from their parents. % goes into a trust iirc.

He ended up OK in the end though

Former VP Mike Pence came out and said he won't be alone with a woman that's not his wife in order to ensure that there is no possibility of someone making a claim of impropriety.

Why is anyone going to put their neck on the line when something like what he said is going to get this kind of response.

Maybe instead of crying about how rare false accusations are they should focus on shaming the people making them and coming up with solutions to keep them from happening.

You know instead of blaming the victims of the false accusations.

My opinion on the finale episodes below the cut. Obviously spoiler warning lol

First of all. I see people say it was really underwhelming and i kinda have to agree? It wasnt a Bad ending or a lazy one or whatever words have been thrown around tho imo. I feel like with all the hype about how "painful" and emotional itll be from the VA and from everyone, we all just expected more tragic outcomes or something.

I am dissappointed because of that as well. I liked how Simon finally reflected a bit and had some self awareness about their situation with Betty. I loved that he didnt become Ice King again or that they didnt do some actual time travel to "fix" stuff. I also liked that they didnt necessarily made him a bad husband (?/boyfriend?) he kinda just never realised that Betty has been putting more into their duo than he was.

That doesnt make him innocent tho b4 someone comes at me. He was a bit too self absorbed but i dont think he was entirely selfish either. He was a person who made mistakes and didnt realise them. The line where he said smt like "i wish we could have talked like this before" also makes it pretty clear to me that Betty never really spoke up about these things either. Golbetty had to make him aware and tbh? I think that was more Golb than Betty.

The whole Scarab ordeal felt a bit. Ehhhhhh I dont know. His anger reaction to things suddenly becoming "canon" (lmao) was very nice to see but him being allowed to wreck havoc like that for a good while felt more like an excuse to bring the others into this world. I dont have a problem with it btw i just dont see the point why we need Farmwold Jay and Little... I forgot her name damn. Also whys Babyworld Finn here 😭 (i get it, he was in the tank, i dont mean literally i mean Why)

As much as i was soooo mad when LSP freed the scarabs it was very in character. I like how it was a thing that he likes animals from the start so it wasnt senseless stupidity, it was something he would do even tho it was the wrong thing to do. Made me pause and lay down to stare at the ceiling in frustration for a solid minute i cant lie, still in chacter tho.

But alas. I like how in the end it all didnt turn magical (completely since ig its partially magical with Cake and everything else) and how Cake finally cooled down about the crown. IM ALSO SO HAPPY THEY KEEP IN TOUCH WITH SIMON OVER THE PHONEEE!! But yea him wanting to move was so real and I hope he does lmao he deserves it.

I only kinda wish they made him reconnect with Marcy a bit more. I am actually pretty dissappointed that we dont know if he ended up reaching out to her more or not. I understand his situation with not wanting to spook her, i actually feel that bit in a soul connecting level good god, but idk. Im at least happy he is Literally in therapy now

(Kinda makes me wonder tho if he spent the time between the end of AT and the start of FC with no like therapist or psychologist. Just rawdogging his mental illness about everything. Mood tbh but like did he? Did he??)

Anyway despite my slight dissappointment i am actually pretty happy with the outcome. I really liked the theories and the ideas of how Simon may make FC magical or what he will become but tbh this is probably the best outcome. Everyone got a happy/hopeful ending (minus Farmwold Finn ig who im atp assuming is dead. Also Star Marceline and PB) which i am really REALLY happy about.

I gotta say I already wanna write fanfic about these guys so inspirational effect granted. Woooo.

Tldr

I was kinda dissappointed because it was overhyped about how emotional it will be when it really wasnt but other than that I am really happy about how the ending turned out save for the alternatives staying in FC

Edit: I SEE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE WHOLE SHOW DONT TELL THING AND TBHHH??? TTTTBBBHHHH??? YEAH. IT WAS ALL JUST TALKED ABOUT LIKE WHAT ABOUT SYMBOLISM? MY GOD.

Also Simon had like 10 minutes to get closure with Betty which was horrifically rushed but again, when your wife turns into Basically God you kinda dont really have a choice to chit chat. Still not happy about it but again, could have been worse. Could have been much worse.

Little things I've noticed while watching Fionna and Cake episodes 9 and 10

(Potential spoilers and general ramblings)

• Shermy and Yumyulack share a VA :-D

• Betty was on the newspaper the squirrel ate in Fionna and Cake's world.

• Shermy Simon recieved guidance from Beth, the descendant of Jake the Dog, who is iconic for giving great advice.

• When hiding Casper and Nova's story, Betty knew exactly which book Shermy Simon was gonna grab at the library. I'd like to think she didn't have to rely on her omnipotence for that.

• GOLBetty is most DEFINITELY living in a non-linear timeline/doesn't abide to time at all. She uses concepts from the future to talk to Simon. She refers to her life with Simon as an "experience" as if it was just a moment in time

• Barely any Simon and Marcy :'-( Hopefully we get more of them if we get a season 2

• Simon turning away from Betty when he put on the crown. I may be overanalyzing the hell out of this but I SWEAR this must mean something about his guilt or his innermost intentions or SOMETHING

• The statue in Fionna and Cake world changing into GOLBetty (pretty obvious but it should be mentioned)

• The name GOLBetty becoming canon 😭

• Fionna and Cake finding magic in the world they already knew <3

• Little Destiny and Jay living in Fionna and Cake world doesn't cause issues? Is it because Jay is related to Finn? Idk maybe we'll see something about them if a season 2 comes out

• Simon gets therapy (real edition)

• SIMON LEARNING TO USE KAOMOJIS WHEN HE TEXTS FIONNA??? HOW CUTE HE'S SUCH A DAD

• Simon borrowed Astrid's motorcycle-thing in the finale montage. He was also showing her 90's stuff. Maybe they become friends

• ASTRID DRAWING CASPER AND NOVA IN HER SKETCHBOOK. THOSE ARE HER OCS. BETTY IS AN OC THIEF LMAOO

• Baby Finn and Peppermint Tank still being together hehehe

And now, something random I noticed while watching Adventure Time:

Hello, Ninjago fandom, while we impatiently wait for the second half of Crystalized to be released, may I interest you in some good old nostalgic shows with familiar Canadian voice actors to pass the time. Ironically, Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA) is in every single one of my suggested shows and in 3 of the 4, he’s got a lead role. XD

Also, I need more people to revive some of these old fandoms! Please hear me out while I info dump! The options get better as we go along since I firmly believe in saving the best for last. I hope you like my long ramble.

First off, we have Slugterra:

This show had a pretty good run with multiple seasons and specials. It’s a good action show and enjoyable for passing the time. I binge watched it while reading through my driver’s training stuff. A solid Saturday morning-esque show.

As far as notable characters and voice actors go, we’ve got:

Eli Shane voiced by Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA): he’s the main guy and very comparable to Lloyd since he’s got daddy issues. Poor guy spends forever trying to locate his dad while at the same time filling the role as hero and protector of the Caverns. Also, he’s the reason this show got so many female viewers. Those simps.

Dr. Thaddeus Blakk voiced by Mark Oliver (Garmadon’s VA): he’s the typical big bad villain type. A bit bland but it’s hilarious to listen to if you’re a Ninjago fan because all you end up hearing is Lloyd vs. Garmadon half the time.

Kord Zane voiced by Andrew Francis (Morro’s VA): he’s a troll and the muscle and mechanic of the main group. Not much to say about him. He’s a sweet, protective dude. Also, I just like that he’s got the name Kord Zane since I’m a huge Zane fan.

Trixie Sting voiced by Shannon Chan-Kent (Racer Seven’s VA): she’s neat and seems to be the second in command to Eli. She’s you’re typical strong female character type. Good news is that there’s no annoying trope that she is in love with the main guy though.

Pronto voiced by Lee Tockar (Borg’s VA): he fits the comedic relief trope really well. Unfortunately, he’s borderline annoying for me. I don’t have anything really notable to say about him. You just gotta tolerate him. Occasionally he has his uses.

Junjie voiced by Vincent Tong (Kai’s VA): he’s not a main character but I really love him and the Asian influence the show goes through when he’s around. Cool dude that also has so much trauma packed into him when you think about all he went through. You’ll understand if you watch.

Burpy is the iconic slug of the series. A 10/10 character. Loyal as ever and super adorable. Sassy when he wants to be.

Pros of this show:

Adorable side character slugs with awesome powers

Elemental slugs!!

a whole arc about trying to free a place from an evil emperor (sound familiar?)

Teaches against animal cruelty.

Shadow creatures that for once aren’t evil villains.

So many other familiar side characters with Ninjago VA’s. It’s honestly just fun to see how many familiar voices you can pick out.

Interesting concept, lore, and world building if you dig deep enough and overanalyze everything.

Cool fights and slug shootouts.

Action with a side of found family is always a plus.

Solid team dynamics and brotherly teasing.

A bonus is that there’s very little romance in this show. Very refreshing to see.

Next we have a forgotten classic, Class of the Titans:

This show had two seasons and had a decent ending. It definitely deserved more run time because there really aren’t that many animated shows about Greek Mythology that are kid friendly. A big main crew with a few familiar Ninjago voice actors sprinkled in for the fun of it. Another Saturday morning-esque show but with a better feel of having an overarching plot than Slugterra did in my opinion.

They have so many character tropes that create the whole main crew so I’m going to try to go through them quickly.

Jay voiced by Kirby Morrow (Cole’s VA): the level-headed leader. Very similar to how Cole started out as team leader. Also, it’s just funny for Ninjago fans to see a character named Jay be voiced by Cole’s voice actor.

Theresa voiced by Kelly Sheridan (Gayle Gossip’s VA or better known for playing Barbie): a psychic seer who is Jay’s love interest (reminds me of Barbie and the Nutcracker solely bc of the voice actors). I wish I liked her more, especially since she’s a seer like Zane. Honestly, neither girl characters really stand out to me but they’re nice to have around.

Atlanta voiced by Meghan Black in season one: the action archer girl who has super speed. She’s neat and very strong-willed. (Side note: I find it funny that every main character girl I’ve mentioned so far are all redheads.)

Odie voiced by Doron Bell Jr. (Griffin’s VA): the smart tech guy. He has his uses and sassy moments. It’s also funny to see what was considered high tech back in the mid 2000s.

Herry voiced by Ty Olsson: your typical strong, protective, big brother guy trope. He’s got a really awesome, scrappy grandma.

Neil voiced by Ted Cole: the self-absorbed guy who serves as comedic relief a good portion of the time. Some might find him annoying but he has his high points and is genuinely funny. He’s not a fighter at all and is dubbed “the lucky one.” And boy, is he lucky indeed.

Archie voiced by Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA): my personal favorite. He’s an occasional jerk but he’s genuinely an adorkable guy. I relate to his whole “wonky ankle” thing, but he’s a great warrior regardless (and the second fastest on the team? How?). He’s got a huge crush on Atlanta which is amusing and sometimes cringy to watch.

Cronus voiced by David Kaye: the main villain of the show. Typical wicked guy who wants to end the kids who are prophesied to defeat him. I know there’s a good number of simps for him. It’s hilarious how much this god loathes this group of kids but is also genuinely terrified of them, especially Jay.

Pros:

If you’re missing Cole’s voice actor, this is the show to watch.

The entire show is free on YouTube Very imaginative spin on some of the Greek gods like Dionysius to make it kid friendly. And wait til you see Hades.

Still, they aren’t afraid to show the gods can be petty and vengeful.

Greek mythology! What more could you want?

I personally love the way they showcase so many Greek characters and creatures. Is it sometimes off? Yes. Is it still enjoyable to watch? YES!

Interesting battles and solutions.

Will show death and the occasional bloody injury. (Not overtly graphic though so don’t worry.)

The poor kids, similar to Lloyd, are prophecy bound to defeat the evil villain and thus have their lives turned upside to become heroes fighting monsters. Theresa eventually throws a somewhat justified hissy fit over this.

Enjoyable characters and team dynamics. So much sibling teasing between everyone and it’s so relatable to watch.

Also, they’re just teens being teens so they do stupid stuff sometimes and that just makes it all the more fun to watch.

A bonus, there’s two girls on the team rather than your stereotypical one main girl trope.

A big favorite of mine, Storm Hawks:

Oh look, another red head character with green eyes. And he’s the lead character voiced by Sam Vincent! XD Here me out though, this show is actually great. If you can get past the funky character designs and animation, it’s a genuinely fun show. It’s so imaginative and for me, it ticks all the right tropes. I would like to say that if you’re a Ninjago fan, you just might be able to like Storm Hawks. It’s a show that I rewatch again and again and still enjoy it. Fans of it will say it ended to soon with only two seasons and an open conclusion that leaves room for more adventures. I wish there was more. The flow was good and I felt it followed a decent overarching plot with quirky filler episodes thrown in to establish the characters more.

Now as far as main characters go, we have a good mix of interesting ones. Yes, they fall into stereotypical archetypes but for some reason, I really like them:

Aerrow voiced by Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA: the young, ambitious Sky Knight of the Storm Hawks. He’s your typical, altruistic hero/leader/chosen one. I love how you can really see how much he cares for his team. He’s got a big legacy to live up to and you know what, he’s absolutely demolishing everyone’s limited expectations of him. This boy survived multiple fights with the supposedly deadliest warrior in the world.

Piper voiced by Chiara Zanni: she’s the intelligent one of the bunch and typically possesses the one brain cell they all share. She’s the navigator, crystal expert, and the second in command. In short, she’s an adorable nerd and my favorite despite having some out of character moments. I also like the little something something she’s got going on with Aerrow. Yes, it’s cliché but it’s open enough that you can interpret it romantically or platonically. And honestly, the way Piper is written, you could almost say she’s bi. But holy cow, that finale with her and Aerrow was everything! Love it.

Junko voiced by Colin Murdock (Ed’s VA aka Jay’s dad): the stereotypical gentle giant type. He’s sweet and strong but constantly doubts his ability because he was bullied. He’s similar to Kord from Slugterra in that he’s got muscle but also serves as the airship’s mechanic. He has a couple of spotlight episodes that do his character justice.

Finn voiced by Matt Hill (Hyper-Sonic’s VA aka that random disco head racer from Prime Empire): on the outside, when paired with Junko, they typically serve as the meat headed comic relief. However, when it comes down to it, Finn is selfless and will make the right choice as episodes have shown. He can get annoying but I highly appreciate that he knows how to buckle down and get a job done and he truly is a great sharpshooter.

Stork voiced by Scott McNeil (VA for many villains in Ninjago): one of the fan favorites for his doom and gloom sort of attitude. He’s the pilot and gives off emo vibes to me. A very relatable character for most pessimists. He’s the oldest of the crew full of kids but he sticks it out through all their wild adventures even if he is completely terrified while trying to survive. Still, he’s got a beserk button so don’t you ever think of touch his precious ship, the Condor. He can and will take out a complete armada.

Radarr voiced by Asaph Fipke: he’s Aerrow’s co-pilot and animal companion of the show. He’s very scrappy and has good intuition. A valuable member of the Storm Hawks. He even gets a couple of his own episodes to shine in.

Now, I gotta mention the villains too since there is a quirky handful of them:

Cyclonis voiced by Lenore Zann: she’s the lead villain and ruler of her kingdom at just 14 years old. She’s very powerful and very intimidating when she wants to be since she’s got a bunch of wacky crystal powers like Piper. I find her interesting just because she’s a young girl who serves as the main big bad villain versus previous shows where it’s a broad-shouldered middle aged guy in a black suit. I wish they showed more on her backstory but a decent villain nonetheless. Comparable to Harumi in that she’s a female kid villain who is deep down broken and lonely and in desperate need of therapy and a friend.

Dark Ace voiced by Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA): is the second in command to Cyclonis and is extremely loyal to her. He’s constantly getting beat by Aerrow and can never manage to exterminate him much to his annoyance. It’s hilarious watching their fights because it’s just Sam Vincent alternating between tones. He’s got cool red eyes and I do believe he also has a bit of a following among the female fans.

Ravess voiced by Cathy Weseluck (Patty Keys VA aka that random sales lady): she’s an archer who has a penchant for the violin. I love her leitmotif whenever she comes onscreen. Ambitious but still scared to turn on her 14 year old boss. She does play a helpful role I towards the finale.

Snipe voiced by Colin Murdock (Ed’s VA): he’s the brother of Ravess and serves as the big dumb muscle guy. I don’t really care for him but his sibling interactions with Ravess are funny.

Raptors voiced by a bunch of familiar VAs: I just had to mention this reptilian group because they are reminiscent of the Serpentine from Ninjago.

Pros:

Great side characters and fun episodes.

Good action and adventure vibes

The whole show is free on YouTube.

Again, world building and lore is very imaginative. It deserved a larger budget and more seasons.

Has your typical chosen/prophesied one narrative that we’ve all come to either love or hate.

Crystal magic (kinda like how we’re now on the season Crystalized)

Adorable main cast who all get a chance in the spotlight, and even the annoying ones do have their high points like I mentioned.

Ninjago VA’s are everywhere in this show too. And with the limited voices they have, they really make the most of it but it’s hilarious to see VA’s essentially talking to themselves onscreen.

And once again, there’s top notch team dynamics in this show with good sibling-like interactions between characters. They squabble but still make up and really care for each other’s wellbeing.

Found family trope is in this and it’s great and I’m a sucker for it. It’s heavily implied the three human kid heroes are orphans so there’s that lovely dose of angst I always love.

Something about Aerrow being a leader just hits right. He’s a great one even if he is just 14 years old.

Good balance between high stakes and humor. The main characters are kids and heroes and it shows with all the shenanigans they manage to throw themselves into.

Great finale. Trust me. The show gets better as you continue to watch it and the episodes get less disjointed.

Friends to lovers or just really close friends trope between Aerrow and Piper. I cannot stop gushing about how natural their dynamic feels and how they play off each other’s energy beautifully. They communicate openly and really well with each other. And if romance isn’t your thing, their bond can totally be seen as platonic.

Cyclonis is a curious villain character that is different from your stereotypical guy cartoon villain. I like her and her powers.

Huge bonus that Ninjago has struggled with doing well, love triangles. Storm Hawks has no place for that. In fact, it subverts that trope entirely! Piper does not act all jealous whenever there is another girl character around and this is a huge breath of fresh air from the pettiness many shows contain. Aerrow occasionally acts wary and annoyed when Piper gushes over stuck up guys, but it’s proven justified and he isn’t overprotective or obnoxious about it. Just cautious and comforting when things do go south.

And lastly, this underrated masterpiece, The Deep:

Great news, this show is still ongoing and recently released their 4th season. It’s got a decent overarching narrative of searching for a lost underwater city Lemuria. There are many filler episodes, but trust me, they are fun. Not gonna lie, I’m a huge sucker for any ocean animated shows. This one is just so funny and relatable. It’s got great family dynamics with many familiar Ninjago voice actors. The adventures and creatures are all so cool! It ties myth, mystery, and science all into one great show. The sci-fi fantasy vibe is amazing. But basically, my liking of this show is hugely centered on not just the creativity of it but the strong family dynamics that glues the entire show together. Unlike most shows where parents are absent or there’s only one, this cartoon portrays a lovely married couple and their kids. Seriously, how often does the chosen one/protagonist of the show actually get a decent childhood with loving parents?!

With characters, we have a small main cast with a handful of recurring side characters. This means, you gotta love the main characters:

Antaeus Nekton aka Ant voiced by Vincent Tong (Kai’s VA): he’s the excitable main protagonist child and chosen one of the family. He’s extremely curious and gets into trouble often, but fortunately for him, he’s got an intelligent engineering mind that helps him get out of trouble… most times. Fortunately for him though, he’s got a great family backing him up. I find him to be a likable character as far as protagonists go and good representation of annoying younger siblings.

Fontaine Nekton voiced by Ashleigh Ball (Sally’s VA aka that pink-haired girl from Crystalized): she’s the older sister character. Sometimes she acts as the only voice of reason onboard the ship. I find her extremely relatable. It’s clear that although Ant annoys her, she still very much loves him and will do anything to protect him and that is so wholesome. She’s got a crush on Finn who’s a slick teen pirate voiced by Sam Vincent (Lloyd’s VA) and most of the fandom really loves the flirty dynamic they have. I gotta admit, they are pretty cute together.

William Nekton aka Will voiced by Michael Dobson (VA for many Ninjago side characters): he is the dad and the muscle of the crew. Still, like everyone else, he’s smart. He’s super reasonable and a really great example of a good father and husband. He has his funny moments and craziness too though.

Kaiko Nekton voiced by Kathleen Barr (Misako’s VA): this woman is my personal favorite and I could gush on and on about how totally awesome she is. Unlike Misako, Kaiko is the most awesome mother ever to her kids and is fiercely protective of them. She has a wide skill set from being a submarine pilot, mechanic, and marine biologist. In short, she’s amazing and I’m a huge simp for her.

Jeffrey: he’s the adorable animal sidekick. He’s an intelligent, expressive fish and has helped saved the Nekton family on multiple occasions. Very relatable because he is cookie-motivated. Smarter than your average wannabe pirate.

Nereus voiced by Lee Tockar (Borg’s VA): he’s your typical mystical old dude with a long white beard. Essentially he’s the Wu of this show. Funny but infuriatingly cryptic at times.

Pros:

This show was based off comics so you can go read those. (Kaiko gets an awesome moment in those that I really wish they would have kept in the tv show.)

Vaguely based off the Incredibles.

Non-absent parents who are top notch and actually parent their kids fairly.

Submarines and marine life are always a plus in my book.

Family dynamics are on point. Seriously, this is top notch stuff right here. Also, sibling dynamics are so sweet.

Representation of a good solid marriage. Bonus points because it’s interracial, making their kids mixed. All-round good representation.

Good musical score. (Not as good as Ninjago’s but still pretty good.)

The whole family is smart and super skilled but it shows that they still make mistakes and are flawed humans just like everyone else. Even the parents aren’t shown to be completely infallible and land in their own sticky situations plenty of times and I find that super neat and good of the writers to do.

Great mind-boggling adventures.

The villains are wacky yet endearing sometimes.

There’s villain that is reminiscent of Morro. He’s even got the same voice actor and goes through the same arc of being all jealous of the chosen one.

”Have faith in the fish.” Jeffrey is great animal companion. Who knew you could actually make a fish work as a good character.

Just huge bonus overall with this show because of the solid family representation we’ve got going on here.

So when it comes to Y/N, he is into everything...I MEAN EVERYTHING. in fact, the only reason why he hasn't completely all that he wants is because y/n wont allow him to do some things.

When it comes to Heeseung's normal side, he will grab, squeeze, smack, rub, tap and stroke his "D" on it, and will cum on it. But that's it. He's good with that.....as long as he's in his calm and gentle Heeseung side.

Now, when he goes full Ethan mode...thats a WHOLE DIFFERENT story right there. As of now, Y/N is not really entirely comfortable with it, i imagined you expressed it in the manner where he is laying off of it....for now. Unless you get him too mad. When it comes to your "P", yeah, you have no choice, he gets it and stuffs it whenever he wants. but with the ass, as much as he is a beast, he's going to allow you to grow accustomed to his nature at your own pace...but again...if you get him extremely mad....then its game over. He'll treat it just as he treats your "P"...he'll get it whether you want to give it or not.

Ethan is a monster and he is into everything. When it comes to y/n's ass, hands down there is no doubt in my mind that if you let him, he'd eat it, finger it, fuck it, and do every single thing to it. He would. I just can't picture or see y/n (by all means y/n is not the whole 'I"m a virgin mary' type) but youre still acclimating to Ethan's sexual wrath, and he sees that...which is why he'll go easy on you in regards to taht, but when it comes to the va-jay-jay....that's different. he'll destroy that whether you want it or not, depending on his mood.

Bottom line, when it comes to y/n and ONLY y/n, because he was never this way with any of his past gf's, he is into everything when it comes to giving you pain and pleasure. its already hinted he's into pain kinks (Heeseung too), he's also got a primal kink (animalistic when he has sex), it's also hinted he's into bondage from one of the previous smaus, as well as overstimulation kink, dubious consent kink (heeseung too on that one) rough sex kink (heeseung too) and from MRE...he's also got a thing for voyeurism.....remember with Samuel? yeah. lol Ethan is a FREAK (so is Eden). which is why they are a match made in heaven....or...er hell.

Lightning Strike

WARNING: There is a suicide attempt in this chapter. Don't read if that bothers you.

Hailey is half asleep in the passenger seat of the truck. It’s been a long day, productive but starting in the pre-dawn hours and they’re just now heading for home with the sun long gone from the sky.

But they got the drug dealer off the streets so in Hailey’s mind, it was a good day.

But she can’t wait to get home and crawl into bed.

She’s suddenly wide awake as Jay swerves hard to the side of the road.

“Jay?” she asks, shifting to reach for her weapon as she looks around, trying to figure out why he’d pulled off the road.

“We’re good.” he says distractedly, pulling off his seatbelt and reaching for the door handle.

She trusts him, abandoning reaching for her weapon to get out of the car.

Jay hops over the pair of barriers to get to the walkway, approaching the final barrier between him and the water.

By the time he’s halfway there, Hailey sees the man standing on the wrong side of the railing and understands exactly why they’ve stopped.

A jumper.

She stays by the truck, calling it in and requesting backup. Her heart skips a few beats when Jay climbs the railing himself, leaning against to it next to the man.

But she trusts him so she doesnt move forward, not wanting to spook the guy by adding an extra body into the mix.

Instead she watches his back the best way she can, working with arriving patrol officers to isolate the bridge and set up a command post.

After what feels like days but in reality is only forty five minutes, she lets out a deep breath as Jay helps the man climb back over the railing.

His hand rests on the man’s shoulder as they make their way back to the road, head ducked low to keep talking to him.

The man is crying, tears streaming down his face but he’s nodding along to whatever Jay is saying.

She’s there when they climb over the last barrier, stepping onto the road.

“This is my partner.” Jay tells the man. “The reason I went to therapy. I didn’t want to do it anymore than you did but she threatened to ask for a new partner so I did.”

“And it helped?” the man asks.

“Yeah.” Jay says. “It did. They’ll take you to Chicago Med tonight. They have an incredible psychiatry department. They’ll help you find a therapist that works for you.”

The man nods, stepping up into the ambulance.

“I have to wrap up a few things here but I’ll check in on you.” Jay promises, shaking the man’s hand. “You’re going to be okay, Tommy.”

“Thanks man.” Tommy says, clinging to Jay’s hand for a moment before sitting back.

The paramedic wraps the blood pressure cuff around his arm and Jay closes the door, giving it a slap before stepping away.

Hailey follows him as he walks toward the center support and then stands in front of him as he leans heavily against it.

“You okay?”

“He’s been home six months.” Jay says, letting out a long breath. “The VA canceled four appointments in six weeks. And it wasn’t worth it so he gave up. Without someone to talk to… the stuff he saw just ate him alive.”

“What about you?” Hailey asks.

“What do you mean?” he asks.

“You didn’t have anyone to talk to.” she says. “Did you…”

“When I first got home I was in pieces physically and mentally.” Jay tells her. “The VA couldn’t keep my appointments any better than Tommy’s and they prioritized physical therapy over mental therapy. I never met with a therapist. I spent the first six months essentially physically incapable of taking my own life and the next six months too drunk. But then I…”

Whatever he’s about to say is cut off as the air is shattered by a loud crack.

Light fills the sky above them and Hailey watches in horror, nearly in slow motion as the lightning travels down the support that Jay is leaning against and into her husband’s body.

Jay goes rigid, his head slamming back against the support as his hands twitch and spasm.

“We need another ambulance over here!” Hailey screams, unable to take her eyes off him.

When the electricity finally dissipates, Jay drops to the ground and Hailey lurches forward, dropping to her knees next to him.

Her eyes are immediately drawn to the horrific burn pattern spread across his back but she forces herself to ignore it, rolling him onto his back and leaning over him to place her ear directly above his mouth.

He’s still breathing, slow and shallow respirations that do nothing to settle her nerves.

She presses her fingers into the side of his neck.

Nothing.

She presses harder, searching for a hint of anything and coming up empty.

Shit.

She lines up her hands, placing them on the center of her husband’s chest and beginning compressions.

“Come on Jay.” she begs. “You were supposed to be taking me home, joining me in the shower and then we were going to sleep for twelve hours. Don’t do this to me.”

There’s no response and she feels her eyes water as she finishes a round of compressions and pauses to press her mouth to his, breathing air into his lungs.

By the time she’s upright again, paramedics have reached them and she watches while they rip his shirt and jacket open to press the AED patches into place on his chest.

Once they are in place, Hailey resumes compressions while the machine analyzes.

‘Shock Advised.’

She pulls back, nodding to the paramedic who presses the button to administer the shock.

Jay’s body jolts and she resumes compressions while the machine reanalyzes.

‘Shock Advised.’

She pulls back again, watching as another shock jolts through her husband’s body.

“We need to go.” the paramedic announces and Hailey helps them roll Jay up so that they can slide the backboard underneath him before lifting his limp body onto the stretcher.

And then she climbs onto it, swinging her leg over his body and resuming compressions.

There’s an enormous jolt as the stretcher is lifted up into the ambulance but she doesn’t stop, continuing compressions until the AED sounds again.

‘Shock Advised.’

She rolls off the stretcher, pressing onto the bench while they administer the shock.

She climbs back into place, resuming compressions as the ambulance lurches into motion.

‘No Shock Advised.’

“He’s got a pulse.” the paramedic tells her as she glances over at her. “It’s thready but steady.”

Hailey clambers off to settle onto the bench seat.

While she’s been fixated on her partner’s heart and the desperate fight to get it restarted, the paramedics have been busy.

An IV is running into his arm, carrying saline and she has no doubt medications that had aided in the battle to bring his heart back online.

An oxygen mask is in place over his face which has already lost several shades of color.

“Just hang on, baby.” she begs him. “Hang on.”

She walks into a room at Med, thanking the nurse for buzzing her through the door.

Thomas Kirkpatrick looks up at her in surprise.

“I thought Jay said he would be checking on me.” he says.

“Jay is a danger magnet who got struck by lightning within five minutes of you rolling out.” she says, shaking her head. “The doctors think he’s going to be okay but I know he’d want someone to check in with you, make sure you don’t think he forgot or that he was lying to you.”

“Lightning?” he says, eyes wide with shock.

“Yeah.” she says, huffing an exhausted laugh. “This is what I deal with on a daily basis.”

“You don’t sound very annoyed by that.” he says, tilting his head.

“I could do with a few less trips to the hospital.” she says. “But I wouldn’t trade having Jay as my partner for anything.”

“As just your partner?” he asks with a slight smirk.

“Way more than just my partner.” she admits.

He nods, looking down.

“He’s lucky to have you.”

“It goes both ways.” she assures him, biting her lip. “Look. I have no idea what the two of you went through over there. But I can tell you that whatever you’re feeling now, it can get better. When I met him, Jay was a mess. But he’s in a good place right now. And he likes to give me the credit but a huge part of it was his therapist, and him putting in the work. Because therapy sucks and it doesn’t work unless you do but it does help. And I can’t threaten you with finding a new partner but I will find something to blackmail you with if I have to.”

He chuckles.

“Interesting approach.”

“I mean, it worked once.” she says with a shrug.

“I’d like to give it a shot on my own first.” he says.

“Alright.” she agrees. “Just know that if you need me to, I’m happy to help out.”

He nods, actually laughing this time.

“You should go check on Jay. Make sure he didn’t get hit by lightning again while you were gone.” he tells her.

“Don’t say that.” she scoffs. “If anyone could, it’s him.”

“Thank you, for checking in.”

“Thank you.” she tells him. “I know you might be sick of it but I appreciate what you did for us.”

He nods and she offers him one more smile before knocking to be let out.

Jay is awake when she returns to his room and she breathes out a sigh of relief.

“Hey.” she says, hurrying forward to take his hand.

“Hey.” he rasps, blinking slowly. “What happened?”

“You’re a lightning rod now, in addition to a trouble magnet.” she tells him with a fake glare.

“Ouch.” he manages.

“Yeah.” she agrees. “You burned your back up pretty good, in addition to the whole stopping your heart thing.”

His eyes widen for a moment but he just nods.

“I check in with Tommy.” she tells him. “Told him you’d be by when the doctors agreed to let you roam, threatened to blackmail him into therapy if necessary.”

He offers her a smile.

“Thanks.”

“Could make a career of it.” she says with a shrug. “Getting stubborn men to open up about their feelings.”

“A necessary profession.” he agrees. “If there’d been someone doing it when I got home I might not have ended up on that bridge myself.”

Hailey’s heart clenches but she doesn’t say anything, just squeezes his hand.

“I recovered from my injuries and then spent those seven months drinking, smoking and screwing and it still didn’t make me feel any better. Honestly made me feel worse. And I just… couldn’t see any other way out so I walked to the North Avenue Bridge, climbed over the railing and stood there looking down at the water for six or seven hours thinking about how disappointed my mom would be with me.”

Hailey is torn between praising every deity that could exist that he didn’t jump and asking what had kept him from doing so.

“An off duty cop came by.” he says, looking over. “Talked me off the edge and got me help. And he didn’t check out once I was off the ledge either, he kept checking in, eventually talked me into joining the force.”

“I’d like to thank him.” she says honestly and he smiles at her.

“I could introduce you.”

“Good.” she says with a smile. “And then he can teach you how to do it without getting struck by lightning.”
