Got Kiki knocked up via magical pendant, immediately ran away from any and all responsibilities (to the point where we don't even know if he's the actual father of Leona or not)

Decided to make Aphmau his fiancee without her knowledge/consent and then just?? Literally never did anything with that plot??? (How tf did he explain that to the people he told, like "oh it was a joke I was just trying to piss off my DEAD BROTHER haha"???? Wtf Zane???)

Janus is either blissfully unaware of the whole thing or is aware of it and I'm not sure which is worse at this point

Janus x Zane

because Relationship lore won here's the first post for it. (also a reminder the relationships for Relationship lore can be platonic romantic familial or hatred)

Janus has feeling for Zane. he's had them since middle school. Janus wasn't sure when his feelings for Zane started, maybe it was when Zane tried to beat up Janus' bullies, or when Zane made him cupcakes for his birthday when everyone else forgot, all Janus knew was they loved Zane as more than a friend, and he would do anything to keep Zane safe. Zane had been Janus' only true friend for years the only one who didn't look at them like there was something wrong, which is why they never wanted to say anything incase it ruined their friendship, but secrets don't stay hidden forever.

Zane had come to the conclusion that he loved Janus in his second year of Phoenix Drop High. Zane remembered the exact day he realized he was in love with Janus. Zane was in the hospital after dislocating his hip, Zane's family was to busy to see him. the only person who came to see him was Janus, Janus brought Zane some books, stuffed animals and blanket from home to help make Zane more comfortable. they talked for hours, about school, the jury, stupid things their siblings did. then after being with Zane for hours Janus had to leave. after Janus left Zane realized he felt alone, more alone then when other people left him, he started thinking and realized he always missed Janus more than other people, and how he was more attached to Janus then others, how he felt when Janus was around, the warmth and happiness he felt when Janus held his hand or hugged him, then he realized it, he was in love, he tried to ignore it but the feelings didn't go away.

it had been a long day, Zane and Garte had a verbal fight, he got into a physical fight with Ein, Garroth lectured him about fighting, he had to stop Ivy from attacking a person with her tazer, in conclusion Zane was tired. usually after a day like this he would go home scream into his pillow and go to sleep but he had something he needed to do, something that he had been putting off for about a year, something that could go horribly wrong and ruin years worth of friendship. Janus had agreed to meet Zane near the river. Zane had a bouquet of flowers in his hands behind his back, he saw Janus standing on the small bridge going across the river. Janus smiled when they saw Zane. Zane usually didn't gush over someone's smile but Janus was always the exception. Janus' smile always made Zane happy. "hey Zane, you said you wanted to talk to me about something?' Janus spoke. Zane took a deep breath, he had rehearsed what to say to Janus hundreds of times but all of it disappeared in that moment. "yes, i need to talk to you about something very important." Janus started looking slightly concerned. "is everything ok?" Janus asked. "yes everything is fine, i just want you to know." Zane took another deep breath before continuing. "I love you.." Zane took the flowers out from behind his back. there was silence, a long awkward silence. Janus just stared at Zane. Zane felt an impending sense of dread, Janus must hate him now. after more tense silence Janus picked up one of Zane's hands and kissed it. Janus had a big happy smile on his face but also looked like they were about to cry. "I love you so much, I never thought you would ever feel the same way" Janus spoke. a smile went across Zane's masked face.

I love rankings so much I made a physical strength tierlist for MCD characters, roughly in order and all headcanon 👍

purely bodily strength based so none of this considers fighting ability, magicks, or sk/jo9 transformations--for example michi would destroy kc in a catfight out of sheer aggression and dirty tactics but i think kc would beat michi in an arm wrestle yk.

They had a plan. Janus would die tonight in this room, with Zane as his killer.

It was supposed to be quick, and for what its worth, it would be honorable. Zane would make the final wound. He'd make sure it was fast; he'd never ask Janus to suffer for him.

So, I wanted to ask, how did Janus lose his eye in ur rewrite/what's ur hc?

Hiiii I want you to know that I love this question and I wish you the very best of luck with the results of your final exams (I have mocks soon AAAA) because the education system is hell and I too cannot wait to escape it

Okay. So in my rewrite, Janus lost their eye when they were about 19-ish. I have already said on one of my previous headcannon dumps that they lost it preventing an assassination attempt. This is still true! But here is some elaboration on it and the aftermath that occurs :3

- Yes they lost their eye protecting Zane (Yes I am aware that I base a significant amount of their character around Zane it's the ONLY CANON THING WE KNOW ABOUT THEM OKAY DON'T JUDGE ME)

- Once again, all of this (and by this I mean trauma) is for Zane because they have exactly 3 people they care about and Zane is top of that list

- Zane wasn't actually the target of the assassination attempt (it was Vylad) but they look rlly similar in my re-write so the assassins decided that it would just be easier to try and kill both of them

- These assassins were a small group of premature Shadow Knights who were working as mercenaries that may or may not have been hired by Garte

- Vylad did in fact die (v sad rip Vylad u will be missed bestie) but Zane gets to live and was mostly unharmed because, unlike Vylad's personal Guard who saw Shadow Knights and promptly bailed, Janus has no self preservation instinct and went "OK we fight until either I die or you all die"

- So Janus then proceeded to straight up beast-mode 2 premature Shadow Knights in 1V2 combat and got a poisoned arrow to the eye for their service

- The minute the adrenaline ran out they collapsed because OW

- This did actually put them in a medically induced coma for like two weeks afterwards while they got healed

- Also this did have a slightly weird shift on their biology, like sharper teeth, that definitely has nothing to do with my eventual plan to make Janus a Shadow Knight by my S3 definitely not but that's not relevant so let's just collectively ignore it like they did when they woke up

- Janus spent a good chunk of time afterwards re-learning how to fight and use their swords because their depth perception was terrible

- He also walked into several walls and almost fell down several flights of stairs a few times

- This was the incident that gave them the idea that they can't die

- Which led to reckless behavior when they could finally re-join the battlefield, but it's totally fine because for some reason they seem a lot less affected by pain than they used to be

- Sometimes they have Visions in that eye. They are convinced these are probably PTSD nightmares (they aren't)

- Their eyes also get tired really easily after all that, because ow, so they don't read very much

- Chronic pain. Like, holy shit, so much chronic pain in that eye specifically

On days when Zane's joint pain was worse than usual Janus would stay by his side, caring for him. He would help him put his knee braces on and take every harsh word of rage Zane had to say. Of course Zane didn't mean to say any of those things to his fiance, the pain just made his mind fog. Janus draws hot baths for Zane and adds nice things like lavender and rose petals, maybe some bubbles. Their romance is always behind closed doors. These small gestures are ones Zane adores. He's not a major fan of PDA and so these discreet acts calm him. When in public Janus has his eye on Zane, making sure he paces himself and doesn't overwork his joints.

On days when Janus is having flashbacks to his past, Zane comforts him. Janus cries to Zane, begging him for mercy he can never receive. The memories of burning villages and cities to the ground, memories of those he loved dying over and over. His immortality is a burden upon him, one only a shadow knight could understand. Zane comforts him, telling him that he's here and won't leave. Janus is afraid of being abandoned, especially by one he worships. He sees Zane on the level of a god.

Their relationship is certainly one for sure, never said it's necessarily a healthy one tho .
