Khushi Kapoor shares heartfelt post for sister Janhvi Kapoor on her birthday

Janhvi Kapoor turned a year older on March 6 as her social media is filled with best wishes from her fans.

Janhvi Kapoor turned 27 on March 6 and needless to say, her friends and family cannot stop sharing their love for her on this special day. The actress’ sister Khushi Kapoor, who shares a close bond with her, took to social media to pen down a sweet message for her sibling and shared some throwback memories from their childhood on the occasion on the social media platform.

Khushi Kapoor, who recently made her Bollywood debut with The Archies, took to Instagram to share a couple of photos from their childhood as a part of the special birthday message she penned for her. In the first message, where Janhvi is seen holding an infant Khushi on her lap, the debutant actress wrote, “Happy Birthday to my favourite human. Love you the most <3” In yet another picture shared by her, the Dhadak actress was seen kissing a baby Khushi and the latter penned, “My biggest cheerleader and my biggest headache”, giving a glimpse of the cute bitter-sweet sibling relationship they share.

Along with her, Janhvi anhd Khushi’s cousin and soon-to-be-debutant Shanaya Kapoor also penned a special birthday. Sharing photos that traced their journey from childhood to adulthood, Shanaya posted several glimpses which showcased her bonding with both the sisters. While her message was a short and simple, ‘Happy Birthday Jaanu’, the adorable photos seem to have won hearts of social media users.

For the unversed, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are daughters of renowned Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and late superstar Sridevi.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is expected to have a series of films in the pipeline which includes Devara with Jr NTR, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao, RC16 with Ram Charan, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumar with Varun Dhawan, among others.

Well guys, here is Janhvi Kapoor because I was bound to post a Kapoor some day. Now, many of you might wonder why that's inevitable and I would tell you it's because if you are going to post Indian Actresses there's like a 50% she's a Kapoor at least by marriage. Which is a joke but for the uninitiated, which I assume is like 95% of my audience here, the Kapoor acting family is so big they have their own wikipedia entry. Go ahead, click and then count up how many names on that page have their own wiki page as well. If you are the sort of person who finds nepo babies frustrating in Hollywood your head is about to explode. Anyway, this is where it gets confusing, she is not part of that Kapoor family but a different Kapoor family (the originator of that Kapoor family was cousins with the originator of this Kapoor family) that still includes 11 people notable enough to have wiki entries because of their roles in the film industry. Also her mom was an actress who I saw on VHS tapes back in the 90's and for the record, also attractive. The attractive thing just comes up because it feels integral. I don't think you get far in Hollywood without looks, at least not as a star, and the same is true in India but maybe even more so. A lot of the biggest names were once Miss India. Anyway, Janhvi came up the other day cause her little sister is acting and I was talking about it and my friend jokingly said, "Well, she's not going to be successful looking like that". Which brought up their mom and also Janhvi who it was proclaimed, "Also won't be successful because she looks like a shriveled up old hag". Jokes aside, all of this lead to me going to see Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (blink and you'll fucking miss her. Alia Bhatt is in it though, who I have almost posted before and IS married into the bigger Kapoor family) which I had to cut and paste the name of cause it was never happening otherwise. The movie is of note that it was the 10th highest grossing movie in the world two weeks ago even though I am assuming those of you reading this have never heard of it. India has the largest Desporia in the world so get used to this happening more and more. I am all for it. Not all Indian cinema is for me because… duh? Not all American cinema is either. But Indian cinema is vibrant and exciting and the world is richer for it. I have watched so much French Film over the years and some of it is a miss but it also produced movies I deeply love. Other countries getting their movies to us is only a good thing, I am really excited for more Indian cinema showing in our theaters. But I also wanted to point out here is an actress with a famous name, from a famous family, in one of the biggest movies in the world and you probably haven't heard of her. That's always fascinating to me with Indian stars because like a billion people know who they are but they could walk down the street unrecognized here. Fame can be weird like that. So I wanted to share here because it's all so interesting to me plus she's ridiculously beautiful and as a side note @kat-eleven needs to know about her. Assuming she reads this, she might be straight and married to a man in California now. Today I want to fuck Janhvi Kapoor.

time in notting hill: a month

The only child in an otherwise very large family, the daughter of a fashion designer mother and a chef father, Farida wanted for almost nothing from the day she was born.  Always in the cutest outfits and eating the best foods, Farida knew exactly how she wanted to live her life.

She never needed to work, though she would occasionally walk for her mother in fashion shows or get some photo shoots for brands that worked closely with her mother - at first as favors or a way to get in good standing with her mother, but as time went on and Farida got older, her beauty is what had others approach her about modeling.  She rarely agreed to walk in shows for anyone that wasn’t her mother, but she loved doing any kind of photo shoot that would let her keep some of the outfits she modeled.

She had many international friends, but one of her closest by far was Cora. Barely remembering how the two met anymore, they'd kept up a pen pal like correspondence for most of their formative years, switching to text and email as technology progressed, but every now and then, it was still very fun to send each other an old fashioned letter in the mail. Cora knew all of Farida's secrets, all her hopes and dreams, and Farida thought of her like the younger sister she never had.

Because of her father, Farida had a huge love of food, and often frequented smaller restaurants to see what they were like, not outwardly comparing them to her fathers, but it was hard for her not to.  One summer she decided to get a waitressing gig at one of these restaurants, just to get some more life experience. There she met a guy there who she was convinced would be her future husband. He was sweet, and doting, and while he mentioned that he was only there for work, Farida was very hopeful that he would change his mind as time went on. It was a blissful nine months, only for him to eventually have to go home, ending the relationship by insisting he couldn't do long distance. It absolutely broke her heart, and while she wanted to move on from it, she simply couldn't.

She continued to mostly model from then on out, enjoying fashion weeks and meeting new people or catching up with old friends every year, and when a family friend mentioned their kids going on an extended vacation across the UK, Farida all but jumped at the chance to join.  She wanted to see more of the world and experience different cuisines and cultures.  She didn’t expect to wind up in Notting Hill, but the fact that Cora was there made it all but impossible for her not to go visit. She wasn't planning on moving there permanently, but being around her best friend feels so much more like home than her actual home did, she's learning to spread her wings and learn some more independence.
