Ein Engel geboren mit einer seltenen Gabe, die selbst unter ihres Gleichen als wahres Mysterium angesehen wird. Eltern voller Strenge, Götter voller Macht. Die junge Raina musste viel erleben,nachdem sie geboren worden war. Nicht nur das die Gabe der Visionen eine Seltenheit in ihrem Reiche war, nein, auch ihr Leben wurde regelrecht dadurch bestimmt. Die Eltern,die bereits aus reichem Hause waren,schlossen sie regelrecht ein, nur um Anerkennung von den Göttern zu erhalten und sich als was besonderes aufzuspielen. Tagtäglich wurde das junge Mädchen dazu gebracht, Visionen hervorzurufen, ganz gleich welche Schmerzen und Konsequenzen sie dadurch erlitt. Und die Götter selbst,die doch eigentlich jeden helfen sollten, schienen selbst sie nur als Gefangene zu sehen und sich an ihrer Gabe zu bereichern. Neben dem gefangen sein, wurde ihr auch noch die Ausbildung zu einem Liebesengel aufgezwungen,damit sie das Familienansehen noch weiter steigern sollte, doch glücklich war sie damit nicht. Also beschloss sie auszureißen, meldete sich für die Ausbildung zur Kriegerin an, missachtete jegliche Regeln und trieb sich mehr oder weniger in der Stadt und der Weltgeschichte umher,als zu Hause,welches sie abgrundtief hasste. Ihre einzige Freundin,die ihr immer wieder Unterschlupf zu dieser Zeit gab, war Mira. Bei ihr fühlte sie sich wohl,verstanden, aufgehoben und frei. Und so verliebte sie sich in Mira,wobei die Gefühle jedoch einseitig blieben. Die Jahre vergingen,Raina erkämpfte sich mehr und mehr ihre Freiheit. Sie schloss die Ausbildung zur Kriegerin ab und eröffnete sowohl im Himmelreich,als auch auf der Erde einen Friseursalon, welches schon immer ihr größter Traum war.

Er ist zu einem guten Freund geworden und hat ihr die Vorzüge von London gezeigt und sie vollkommen damit begeistert. Eines der Gründe,warum sie dort sich nun einen dritten Laden zugelegt hatte und weil sie ab sofort dort regelmäßig Urlaub machen wird.

»»————-　★　————-«« Durch ein dummes Missgeschick und einen leichtsinnig eingegangenen Deal ist Raina nun vorrübergehend zu einem Fuchsdämon geworden. Der neue Körper und die neuen Fähigkeiten sind noch total ungewohnt,wodurch sie in das eine oder andere Fettnäpfchen tritt und Gefühlsmäßig eine regelrechte Achterbahntour durchmacht. Sie hofft innerlich einen Weg zu finden,um wieder ein Engel werden zu können.

»»————-　★　————-«« Die Visionen nehmen zu. Fast täglich ereilt sie eine und der Schmerz wird immer größer. Innerlich immer weiter auffressend, immer schlechter die Sicht, hält Raina das nicht mehr aus und sucht verzweifelt einen Weg diese Gabe los zu werden. Und es scheint als gäbe es eine Möglichkeit. Eine um das Missgeschick ihres Dämonenseins wieder los zu werden und ebenso auch die Gabe. Doch dafür müsste sie während eines Rituals sterben und wiedergeboren werden und würde zusätzlich noch all ihre Erinnerung verlieren. Wie wird ihre Liebe Bay auf diese Möglichkeit reagieren? Würde er sie wieder suchen und um ihr Herz kämpfen? Und was würden ihre Freunde davon halten? Ein Ritual mit vielen Folgen und Konsequenzen,aber Raina scheint bereit zu sein diese eingehen zu wollen, nur um endlich diese Gabe los zu werden. Wird sie es wirklich wagen?

»»————-　★　————-«« Das Ritual ist geglückt und Raina hat ihren Tod gefunden gehabt. 3 Monate vergingen,ehe sie wiedergeboren wurde. Wieder als junge Frau mit rosa Haar, sanften rosa Augen und ganz ohne Fuchsschweif und Ohren. Wiedergeboren als Engel. Jedoch ohne Erinnerungen an ihr vorheriges Leben und all jenen,die ihr einst mal wichtig gewesen waren. Doch diesmal war sie frei,ungebunden und von keiner Gabe verflucht,die ihr das Leben schwer machen könnte.

What follows is my number one favorite passage from the entire #Outlander bookseries. It's not really a spoiler but if you have not read #TheFieryCross yet, and don't want to read ahead, please feel free to scroll past this. This sweet little passage is about Jamie giving a bouquet (which has poison ivy in it) to Claire. He isn't aware of the poison ivy. She naturally is. "Welcome home," he said, and held out the small bouquet of leaves and twigs. "Oh," she said. She looked at the bits of leaf and stick again, and then at him, and the corners of her mouth trembled, as though she might laugh or cry, but wasn't sure which. She reached then, and took the plants from him, her fingers small and cold as they brushed his hand. "Oh, Jamie - they're wonderful." She came up on her toes and kissed him. He felt pleasantly foolish, and foolishly pleased with himself. The taste of her was still on his mouth. "Sorcha", he whispered and realized that he had called her so a moment before. Now, that was odd; no wonder she had been surprised. It was her name in Gaelic, but he never called her by it. He liked the strangeness of her, the Englishness. She was his Claire, his Sassenach. hiii so i'm trying to have a "get fucking educated" summer where i tackle a lot of nonfiction and learn about shit. i've seen you recommend some books on ur blog before but do u have any nonfiction books u especialy reccomend that u found super educational/eye opening?? i'm really interested in like prison abolition for example, just not sure where to start

omg get fucking educated summer love that for u <3 and yes of course would love 2 give recs!!

for prison abolition, all my recs are gonna be u.s.-centric as that's where i'm from, so if u are from outside the u.s. + looking to learn abt abolition specifically in ur country then u will perhaps want 2 do a more specific search (+ if i have any mutuals who wanna recommend texts on prison abolition for countries outside the u.s. please do!!). BUT that said i definitely recommend starting with are prisons obsolete? by angela y. davis, and honestly any of davis's writing about prison abolition is great. i also really liked the end of policing by alex s. vitale as like an intro text to prison abolition.

as for nonfiction i've found particularly eye-opening/educational -- there's a ton!! capitalist realism: is there no alternative? by mark fisher has been a favorite this year, and jamie berrout's essays against publishing also felt v eye-opening. i've also really enjoyed whipping girl by julia serano, screw consent by joseph j. fischel, and various andrea long chu writings (the pink, on liking women, females) in terms of texts that have like. really pushed me to think. i've also been reading a lot of marx + engels recently thanks 2 some recs from a mutual (hi laura) + would highly highly recommend--so far i've read socialism: utopian and scientific, principles of communism, wage labour and capital, and value price and profit + if i had to recommend just one of those 2 start with i'd probably say wage labour and capital!

OH and almost forgot - rn i'm reading playing the whore: the work of sex work by melissa gira grant + i'm only abt halfway thru but would HIGHLY recommend it as well--overlaps quite a bit w prison abolition as sex workers are a group that suffer heavily from police violence!!

Ob ich dich jemals vergessen kann ? Ich weiß es nicht. Du hast mir mein Herz gebrochen , in tausende Stücke ist es am 18.12.2022 um 11:29 zersprungen. Eine einzige Nachricht hat diese Lebensfreude aus mir rausgerissen wie ein Tsunami ohne jegliche Warnung und Vorbereitung ohne eine Chance die Welt zu verstehen. Du warst alles für mich. Du warst das Mädchen aus meinen Träumen. Meine andere Hälfte . Du warst mein Zuhörer mein Aufpasser mein Engel. Ich habe gelernt zu lieben was du mir beigebracht hast .. wie meine Eltern mir gehen bei gebracht haben. Ich habe gelernt Verantwortung zu übernehmen und diesen Engel zu beschützen und sorgen. Ich durfte Deutschland von einer Seite zusammen mit dir sehen wie ich sie noch nie kannte. Ich habe Orte und Kulturen neu entdecken können immer mit dir an meiner Seite. Wir teilten uns unser Essen unsere Familien unsere Geschwister unsere Heime unsere Kulturen unsere Zahnbürsten unsere Musik und unsere Seele. Denn die war es was du am meisten verstanden hast. Du warst der hellste Stern der mir in der dunkelsten Nacht den Weg gezeigt hat. Ich musste nicht mal an dich denken , du warst einfach da. Du warst in meinem Herzen . Ob du gerade gearbeitet hast oder ich an meiner Szene für Aufführungen geprobt habe . Dein Licht leuchtete immer in mir egal wo wir waren egal wie wir uns fühlten wir haben alles geteilt. Selbst unsere Nächte, wir haben unzählige Prozente von unserem I Phone Akku verbraucht und an manchen Sonntagen ging das Handy dann auch mal aus. Wir haben so gut wie konnten jeden einzelnen Tag zusammen schlafen können , nicht immer nebeneinander in unserem Bett aber dafür haben wir uns zugehört und unsere Handy so nah an unseren Atem gehalten dass es uns Sicherheit gab, und ich weiß noch wie du immer vor mir eingeschlafen bist und ich dein Atem kopiert habe so dass wir den selben Herzschlag oder Rhythmus haben. Ich weiß noch wie du immer vor mir eingeschlafen bist und ich einen Film angeschaut habe und leise sein musste damit du in Ruhe schlafen konntest und mich gestummt habe. Ich weiß noch wie ich aus dem nichts eine Chips Packung hoch geholt habe und du sofort wusstest was gleich abgehen wird. Ich weiß noch wie wir uns immer gute Nacht gewünscht haben wenn es soweit war . Ich weiß noch wie wir „ich liebe dich“ gesagt haben wenn wir mitten in der Nacht aufgewacht sind , ich weiß noch wie danach sofort zu deiner 1.5 Liter Wasserflasche gegriffen hast und sie so laut zerdrückt hat dass ich jedes Mal wach wurde ich weiß noch als deine Alexa montags und Donnerstag um 5 Uhr morgens im 5 Minuten Takt klingelte bis um 5:30 und du öfters verschlafen hast . Ich weiß noch wie dein Wecker um 7 oder um 10 klingelte damit du den bis um 8.05 oder um 11:05 bekommst und viel zu früh ausgestiegen bist. Ich könnte noch unzählige Momente von uns aufzählen .. jedoch sind diese am Freitag auf Samstag um 2 Uhr morgens in tausende Scherben zerbrochen die alle tief in meinem Herzen stecken. Das Licht das in mir leuchtete und mit die Freude am Leben und die Helligkeit in der Dunkelheit brachte ist nun erloschen. Ich hoffe ich werde es schaffen aus diesem schwarzen Loch raus zu kommen . Du wusstest ich werde ein heartbreak nicht überleben . Du wusstest ich liebe dich . Du wusstest es würde mich verletzten . Du wusstest es würde mich für immer kaputt machen . Du wusstest dass du unser gemeinsames Karten Haus mit all den schönen Dingen und Außenrum den schönen Zukunftsplänen einstürzen lässt. Aber du wusstest auch dass egal was du tust . Ich dich immer Lieben werden ! Du Jamie Samira Hemmerich, meine erste große Liebe. Du bist es die ich mehr geliebt habe als ich mich jemals lieben werden , ich weiß nicht wie mein Herz dir das jemals verzeihen kann aber ich tue es. Ob ich diese wundervolle Zeit bereue ? Nein , es hätte nur ein anderes Ende haben sollen.
