-Someone who has been frustrated over this ever since Tri started, and also since Kizuna started, & also since DigiAdv 2020 started,,,,, {Isn't it weird how I never saw this at this level on L.J for multiple years pre-Saikai release???} (The worst I remembered before was from mid-F.F.N days and even Then!)

Thankfully I have a bunch of cool & AWESOME mutuals here who Are Not About That Kind Of Thing, Ever and can I just say all of you who don't partake in that / come onto TAICHI FANS' posts with blatant hate / contempt / bad-faith Takes on Post-02!Taichi or Taichi's ships are amazing???? Thank you (Eternally) {/Genuine}

{& If I never have to block a clearly anti-Taichi, or otherwise anti-Taichi [insert my Taichi ships here] Stan for the rest of my life I could finally rest}

(Don't ask me why they come onto the blog that constantly spams Taichi and KouTai O.T.P + A.M.V.s into my void 24/7 w username 'izzyizumi')

But yeah this was a huge reason why my P.S.A re-blogs started and why I pulled out from making DigiAdvs news updates posts (I was trying to actually spread some Positivity / contribute back then, which is really difficult for me under normal circumstances because outside of Yelling In My Tags, I'm usually actually pretty socially awkward / reclusive...) and the like (some of you may remember I did that around pre-Kizuna dropping, and also when 2020 was starting) because I'd get these kind of Stans lurking on my not-Taichi or Koushiro (at all) posts for whoever their {~Fav~/equally not canon ~O.T.P~} was and I HATED IT.

Some of them are STILL AT IT on DigiTwit weekly after new eps drop (sometimes they jump around socials too, and I'm on other places too... hell some of those names I remembered from L.J days when I was Younger so this pattern seems constant for them) ;; and if they happen to see this post, I just hope they know I was never amused & I'm never going to support their rhetorics. The same person who I mentioned Blocking earlier was also a part of that seeming "group". (But apparently there's also multiple pockets of anti-Taichi Stans???!)

My queue's cleared out a lot since and my blog may finally return to its pre-Bokura no Mirai end state by the time of "The Beginning" release, (though also a lot of my ship tags died out since again...) but I became a lot more hyper-aware of Issues as a result of all that and yeah sometimes I'll still re-blog a post if I feel it genuinely explains an actual concept I'd like to explain well (especially informative posts about Disability and Autism because, like, I'm Autistic, I don't know how many more times I have to ""~confirm~"" that with people before they actually believe me after these 5~8~ straight years of me talking about Being Autistic TM because it's... my blog and my LIFE????)

So yes if you do decide to go onto DigiTwit please prepare to possibly be Blocking multiple amounts of people. Unfortunately

Did you see the new episode?! The way Yamato looked at Sora and Tachi seems very suspicious... I feel like how everyone is chill with Yamato been a tsundere adds to the theory as well.

I ALSO HAVE THEORIES, (including in regards to that moment!!) YES

I was kind of waiting to see the Chosen gather again + Yamato before posting any extensive theories I still have, etc., etc. but this ep definitely DID NOT help with me Suspecting TM Things

( Though, tbh, also personally, I’m also Still Not Quite Sure on exactly how much the Chosen themselves may be AWARE of Certain Going-Ons - )

I may need a couple more episodes to see if I can form some Seriously Actually Solid Theories (i.e., getting more of a glimpse of Actual Enemies would be nice, if Koushiro’s Pibook Tablet does anything else seriously STRANGE TM, etc...)

But yeah, Toei DEFINITELY seems to be Implying TM Things at the least, and I’m REALLY excited to see where all of this is going to go!!!

Digimon Ghost Game ~ Hiro & Gammamon + {Tanabata}! (Japanese cultural holiday taking place on July 7th!)

#digimon ghost game #digimon: ghost game #hiro amanokawa #amanokawa hiro #hiro and gammamon #izzyizumi posts #(OK so Fun Story Time)#(Way back in 2k13 during Tanabata of that year I was very actively involved in a big 'pan-fandom' wide r.p. {role-play} game)#(This wasn't on Tumblr but it was elsewhere and Anyway so I wasn't playing from DigiAdvs at time though I did have my Koushiro he was just)#(Getting Started with my Koushiro Voice Testing & at time I was testing out other charas too & one is like Japan EmbodiedTM)#(Im Not Saying Who They Were {I had a few Similar} but anyway 2k13 was the year immediately after Grandpa on my not-Jew end passed)#(and I was close to Grandpa on that end & Grandparents in general too & Grandpas passing at time hit me *super* hard too)#(At same time. Multiple people were dropping from the rp game {it was still pretty active but} it had been slowing a bit as a result)#(So I got the idea to have my chara hold a Tanabata event post and it actually got like 1200+ comments total)#(of course half of those were replies during threads but anyway it was a surprisingly big success for me to have made that event work)#(At the time my charas 'wish' had simply been 'I hope for the remainder of the following year to be Good')#(What my Chara meant was 'I do not Need a Wish but if I have one I hope everyone elses Wishes can come true for them')#(and also 'if I must make a Wish I would Wish to not {be the only one left here} by the end of That Time')#(and my rp partner who threaded with me had their chara be like 'I'll wish for your wish to come true' & wrote it in charas 5 languages)#(They didnt Know I also meant re the rp games stability but like anyhow that event post was one of my most fun rp experiences ever)#(Fam deaths hit me super hard & I was in a very dark place at time but being able to experience that event really helped me that year)#(I probably wouldn't have kept this blog running on queue for as long if it hadn't been for things like That really helping in between)#(in general I'm really grateful cultural holidays like Tanabata still exist for Japanese people especially as I am {myself} a Jew)#(& we have our own cultural holidays & they may clash at times with Concepts but at the same time I *do* believe we can have solidarity)#(anyway im super Super Happy that if not Koushiro. *Hiro* could get a Tanabata piece because I feel it fits Hiro+Gammamon a TON too)#(Hiro would definitely be the type to be like 'I wish for the remainder of the year to be Good {for Everyone}' & Koushiro Would Too)#(but it does kind of Hit in a Certain way for Hiro+Gammamons storyline in itself Too & I'm just super grateful Hiro could get July theme)#(because if it really couldnt be Koushiro. & I wanted Koushiro for either Tanabata or Aug 1st in itself if not rainy season {June})#(Hiro was Next Best Choice & anyway This is also what I mean when I say I think cultural themes with this series should be Acknowledged)#(When They Happen in Various Official Arts or even eps INVOLVING the Chosen themselves because these are *cultural specific holidays*)

My Commentary:

"Tails" (Nine specifically also, here) is a character I've loved basically since I was old enough to pick up a Sega controller as a 3-year-old child; and Koushiro came slightly later on when I was still young but closer to / basically exactly Koushiro's J.P.N canon age as I watched.

I've always noted these similarities in their storylines & even, one could say, "personalities" ever since I kept up with Digimon Adventure's series specifically (and Koushiro's also kept evolving and growing in various ways across multiple medias, including a 2020 "reboot" spin-off series that nonetheless still uses the original "Koushiro Izumi" as a base); however, "Nine"'s story dropping today (it's 2k22?!) really feels like it's driving the point home for me when it comes to these storytelling parallels.

(Oh, and Koushiro is also canonically Adopted, yes?)

{This 'comparison's gif-set was made on a whim mainly for my Koushiro specific head-canons series; but I won't mind if cross-fan-base fans enjoy this too!} [There's a very specific "head"-canon I have in mind for both, too... you might be able to note them in the tags of this post!]

Digimon Adventure{s} (Series)/[02] ~ (Closet!) Cosplay ~ (Post-02!)Koushiro[u] Izumi {Aesthetic[s]} / Detail shots {January 2k23} (I don't have a full-size plush of partner yet so I usually consider this Koushiro to be late-final-year of middle school Koushiro, or a Koushiro who enters high school and has a jacket in similar color / style as previously {I intended to cosplay Koushiro pre-Tri as well}.)

In my fic-verse, Koushiro has such a jacket in the darker green color; maybe different color tie and pants because the school location changes (I used "Odaiba High" at the time writing my old fic-verse). There, Koushiro was already in 2nd~ year of high school and Taichi was in the 3rd~ year about to graduate (by J.P.N school system schedule); the original fic follows them all through University years. In my fic-verse the green may also be slightly more "muted" to distinguish it, I haven't fully decided yet; but this jacket still looks pretty bright if sunlight hits it, despite it being dark emerald green) featuring (Me) / @izzyizumi Also in the original fic; The Digital Gate had, similar to Tri, since closed briefly; travel functioned a little closer to 02 still, when they could only see their partners briefly at times via Gate-hopping (until a lead-in to pre-epilogue era had them all "meeting" again under various circumstances). So the Koushiro I cosplay is one who's supposed to be a little distant from having seen partner 'Mon in a while and is feeling the effect of it. (They typically still communicated via brief e-mail messages when possible / when the Gate allowed contact, but it was different.) Fortunately Taichi usually comes in more and they start hanging out. {Wig was bought from & styled by a previous Koushiro cosplayer!} - The jacket for Koushiro's (02) "school!" uniform is actually closet cosplay jacket found in a regular department store sometime just before 2k15! Finding it in this exact shade / color was amazing, I'm not quite sure I'll ever find much close in the future!! (As it's from around 2k15, it's a little old, but holding up!) - Gold Laptop is my own! (in use since about 8~ years ago, aka also around 2k15!) {I bought it less for the cosplay [it was sometime before the pre-Tri fan base revival, actually; I was still actively following the series and Koushiro-relevant fan base things on this blog and in my own time] and mainly because color, price + condition was seriously good for 200+ GB of storage space at the time.} {The yellow laptop Koushiro canonically uses has never really been produced in the right "full" size (Yet?!?), so this was a "next best thing" until I can get a shell replacement or the like similar to the canonical yellow-and-white laptop!}

Notes:

This A.M.V. is currently semi- (mostly) / FINISHED. As of now, the preliminary version up until ending is completed. Hopefully you find some enjoyment so far though! - The intro and Koushiro’s section took about 1 hour 15 min alone. - Taichi’s section took another 25~30 min or so (I’m rounding Taichi’s out to about 25.) - The 2nd to last finishing touch took another 45 min of editing for an about 17 second section. - This last one took almost 1 hour more. - And finally, the final stretch was 2 hours 35 min; (Add that all together, and it’s about) almost 6~ hours in total. (this time, it crashed multiple times in-between! I managed to save it!!) As a result of crashings occuring, I tend to use longer clips towards the middle and end. However, this time I somehow managed to fit in a bit more than usual! This one may not be 100 percent polished ‘soon’, but I’m aiming to work on it more by Oct. [If I can’t finish it by then, it’ll be put on the list of things to finish ‘sometime’]
