Here's a cool way to frame works on paper. Float mount the work so it is lifted from the background. This allows the whole work to be seen. Traditional framing covers the edges a bit so you lose a bit of the work. These little mini oil paintings are painted on paper, so they were framed behind glass. I got this triptych framed at @newfoundlandcanvas and think it looks great. I love the wide matte. It's a clean, contemporary look. Swipe to see some of the other pics and to see the details. The frame is quite deep, and the sides are lined in the same white paper as the background. Each painting is raised from the background by being placed on a small foam core chip. Just make sure not to touch the glass. And to use acid free paper and tape.
