tbh i think we often forget that the 'good old days' for mcr were filled with depression and tension and generally the band members were pretty unhealthy. which is why mcr 2022 is nice to see because they are happy and thriving and everything is all good!!

8 and 9 for the artist asks!
Thank you for the ask <3!
8. What do you like most about your own work?
Okay! Several (small) things!
I really like how I draw noses and eyes \o/! I try to give noses volume and a slightly defined shape- And with the eyes, I try to shape them differently depending on the character and their personality. I cannot do the nose thing with Sun and Moon so here are some examples from other drawings:
Also, I like how I draw hair~ (especially with characters that have flowy or curly hair):
And! Thick lines!! The clear borders and lines are very satisfying for me to see and draw <333
Finally, I'm really happy with how I pose the characters! I think I'm good at showcasing their personalities through body language... Plus, it's fun drawing different poses! ❤️✨
9. What are you currently trying to improve?
I'm trying to improve how I draw expressions that are not positive, 'cause I rarely draw them... I want to be able to convey sadness or anger better-
And mouths!! I want to make them sliiightly more ""realistic""; like my noses!
Also, I'm trying to learn how to make art that could be described as "horror". My style is sorta "cute and simple", and so I find it very difficult to make something scary and dark 😅
My persona iskind of an eldritch being and I cannot for the life of me draw them being intimidating or scary fr send help hahah

if you donate one single us dollar to the unrwa, you will have donated more money than you would have by clicking that stupid arab.orb link every day for four and a half years. yes, they do actually donate money to the unrwa, but even with tens of thousands of clicks, most of that money is the baseline $90 they send every quarter. from 2023 quarter 4, half a million clicks turned into $380.57. maths out to six hundreths of one cent per click. just donate to unrwa.

In all seriousness, here are a few resources I think are helpful with regards to understanding just how thoroughly Henry Kissinger screwed the world over:
Kissinger by Behind the Bastards. This is a 6 part series done by the podcast Behind the Bastards, with the hosts of The Dollop on as guests. It's super funny and a very accessible foothold into understanding the scope of Kissinger's vast career.
Kissinger's Shadow by Greg Grandin. This book provides an in-depth analysis of Kissinger's tenure in the white house, covering both how he got into office, the changes he made in office, the policies he put forth, and their repercussions on the world.
ETAN's category on Kissinger. The East Timor and Indonesia action network has long been an outspoken critic of Kissinger's, and they've aggregated a lot of helpful articles here.
The Trial of Henry Kissinger by Christopher Hitchins. While Grandin's book focuses less on the specificities of Kissinger's crimes, Hitchins has no such qualms and details each of them in depth.
I truly think understanding Kissinger, the way he thought, and the things that he did, are all indispensable when it comes to understanding the modern political climate and how foreign policy works in America and therefore, by necessity, in the world at large. The sheer amount of damage he was responsible for should never be underestimated.
