Helloooooo take a look at automaton au chica over here.. she is called mother hen
She is a patron of people who get lost/seek shelter, children and the unwanted. One of the major old ones people generally know about. There are still old shrines and offering sites for her specifically all over the borderlands. There are other major old ones whos shrines have sadly been lost to time as they have not been seen in centuries...

i just had a thought
but gosh i genuinely GENUINELY hope that Kaeya knows what his mission is and his purpose or whatever endgame stuff he has to do (whether big or small)
because y'all know what the alternative is? It's him fabricating details or him using a misunderstanding, and consequently telling Diluc just to get Diluc to attack him as a form of self punishment.
Their fight would have been for nothing other than to satiate Kaeya's need to get hurt.
add in the fact that i kinda think that all "misfortunes" Kaeya is facing is of his own choice? well...
He better know his purpose or I'm storming HYV headquarters.

(this is the only thing i'm posting today as i am very tired and have a long few days ahead of me but i really would like to see what people think :D

Blue Lions and who they main in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Dimitri: Captain Falcon (spams neutral-b and occasionally does the voice but only when he's playing alone [Falcon. Puuuunch!])
Dedue: Meta Knight (spams side-b)
Felix: Daisy (it's for the meta ok dude it's the meta shut uP SHUT UP Sylvain she's the STRONGEST CHARACTER. Undefeated except for that one Little Mac main from EVO in 1181)
Sylvain: Bayonetta (thinks shes hot, manages to pull off unbelievable combos)
Ingrid: Zero Suit Samus (pure meta, gets annoyed when people try to pick Zero Suit Samus if they dont even understand why shes better than normal Samus. 3 stocks Sylvain every single time)
Annette: Yoshi (spams dair and does the voice [boing HOP! 😊], also is weirdly good at combos)
Mercedes: Rosalina and Luma (still doesn't actually know why Luma disappears sometimes)
Ashe: Mario (indulge nostalgia AND meta, baby!)
Explained some terms in the tags - Golden Deer / Black Eagles / Church of Seiros / Ashen Wolves

JMAH: the wither rose. 🌹
What prompts it? What does Sam think about how well Dream did?
THE WITHER ROSE 👀
Honestly, I think it's something Sam would do early enough where he's not really...expecting Dream to succeed. Probably as a punishment of sorts after Dream was (in his opinion) particularly stand-offish or mouthy or otherwise insubordinate, a little after the debacle of Tommy's death anniversary and the TNT (and the...strange calm of March 16th). He's seeing more obvious effects on Dream's behavior by now, obviously, but not really internalized the depth of his actual control over him, yet, how much of his accidental conditioning is actually having an effect.
So after an interrogation session or something that ends up being particularly frustrating to Sam, he hands him a wither rose and tells him to keep holding onto it, or else. He's not really expecting too much, honestly. The obedience tests, as he begins to implement them, are kind of clumsy - as much as he wants Dream to listen, whether or not he actually expects Dream to follow through can be a lot more complicated. He wants to think that he's making progress, but he also thinks that Dream is stubborn as shit and probably willing to go through quite a lot of pain just to piss Sam off. So he hands it over, checks back a few times to make sure that he's still holding onto it, and then leaves.
As for Dream- well, or else means quite a bit, after the anniversary and the TNT. And it's like- things haven't been as bad as the first two weeks in a while, but w/ fresh memories of how bad things can get and newly shaking hands, he's not exactly keen on inviting Sam's wrath. Besides, holding onto the rose ,, isn't that hard. Not at first. Part of it is almost proof to himself - the wither rose only hurts as long as he holds onto it. There's a degree of control to it that doesn't exist with the potions. In some ways, it's easier to stomach.
So he holds on- and on, and on. Hours pass. The wither creeps up his arms - occasionally, a heal pot splashes above him to negate some of the damage, and he flinches but keeps gripping onto its stem (the wither effect is most concentrated around the petals). Slowly, as it takes its toll, he has a harder and harder time keeping his grip on it - so he ends up kinda awkwardly curled up against the back wall of the cell, letting the head of it rest against his chest to make sure he won't let go. His hands are completely numb. He doesn't think he could lift the rose and place it down if he tried.
When Sam finds him, like this, for a second he does panic a little and think that Dream's like straight up died - to his credit, his health-pot setup has done its job. His second thought is that this is some kind of malicious compliance, Dream trying to get revenge somehow by hurting himself - he did it in the first timeline, and he's done it before in this one as well. It's a combination of the seriousness of Dream's injuries and how out of it he is when he wakes up again that makes Sam maybe think differently - Dream has always been painfully aware of his own mortality, before, and you know. Very very hard to kill. It's not like him to be careless, like this.
Neither of them really approach the implications of it to each other, afterwards. Dream tries not to think too much about how close he could’ve gotten to dying, why he’d obeyed in the first place (he’s no stranger to what Sam is pulling, but he’s not even sure how much he wants to fight back anymore. His obedience scares him; not obeying, a lot of the time, scares him worse.) Sam can’t deny what this could mean, as much as he’s kinda reeling from what it could all mean and telling himself not to fall for Dream’s tricks - after this, the obedience tests definitely ramp up, just to test exactly how far Dream is willing to go and how much is actual control versus something Dream is using to fool him. (Dream is listening to him - isn’t this what he wanted? Is it even real?) Dream suffers a few permanent physical effects from the wither - the skin of his hands has greyed and blackened, and his fingers are colder than they used to be, going numb pretty often. Where the head of the rose had rested against his chest, there’s some more of the darkened skin as well as blackened veins around his heart and stretching up above his collar, easily visible through how pale his skin has become everywhere else.

tonight’s tangent: if george’s mom was a college prof according to Word Of Pilkey, did it mention (or imply) what program/course she does in the books. like, on the one hand i can imagine something english/literature based-- maybe journalist or some professional writing degree or something communication adjacent at least
but i also like the idea of the course having some synergy (but not completely complimentary) with moses’ mechanic job, like some sort of drafter?
(probably leaning towards the journalist/professional writing program. still have to choose what subject/s she’d teach, or whether she’d be full or part time. i think she’d do well in editing or the narrative aspect of articles, because even if its non-fiction, there's always a story, plus its a nice way to tie it all back in)

Hey, so I'm starting to get caught up on ASM, and I'm kinda confused about something; it's clear from the art that either Madoka or Homura is black, given that Haruka is as well, but I wanted to know which of them? Sorry if this seems rude, it's just messing with my ability to visualize what's going on.
Not rude at all! Thanks for asking!
ASM Homura is mixed Black and Japanese while Madoka simply has a more brown skintone. The headcanon for Homura came from a friend of mine (madohomurat, previously @homubat) and kinda stuck as to how I visualise her. As such it became part of ASM and thus part of Haruka's design.
A general look at how the ASM quintet look is in this post!
And as for Homura in specific they drew the various Homus here!
Tumblr media
I didn't initially intend this to be addressed in fic as much but then my cowriter started drawing a bunch of art pieces that we put up in the chapters and. well. Now that's how ASM Homura is.
(Additionally, she's gaining gray streaks over the course of each loop because of the comedic amount of stress)
Of course this doesn't define every Homura, but that's how she is here. Hope that helps!
(Or as Paci and I put it)

FUN FACT: Wereweevil!Vi refers to herself as being "from the desert" rather than "from the hive near the big tree[1]" as in canon. This is because she has problems.
