I think it was stupid to create both the Roi and Rafael characters. One of them would have been enough. Like for example Roi is the real son of Andrés or something like this, because both had similar functions, I don't understand why introduce Rafael in the series when he had nothing to do in the spin off.
I agree, anon! We didn't need two "son" characters for him. One is enough, and Roi being Andres' real son makes a lot more sense than Rafal popping out of nowhere. And like you say, it makes things doubly pointless to introduce Rafael and have him serve no purpose other than providing a cringe affair. If he's not part of the spinoff and they're just replacing him with Roi, it just makes us all wonder where Roi is in the original show.
Tldr; Before Pina inserted so many sons for Andres, he should have asked himself "do we need this character?" and "does this make sense in-universe?"

(1) I wonder have you watch this jttw ep series called "Chinese Odyssey:Love is forever", I only watch for 5 eps but thsi adaptation in my opinion is hilarious crack, but confusing to me that I have to step back and rewatch few time between scenes especially wukong romance part and this "wukong" painful journey with sanzang
(2) Seem spoilerish for 5 eps overviews in my pov: The story of chinese odyssey love forever seem have 2 plot?? 1 ,wukong romance but apparently a real wukong and he basically dont even get punished nor goes journey with sanzang, and the one who get punished for wrecking havoc is 6 ear who act as wukong suggest by Jade emperor (he and jade emperor have ties and jade emperor say for hsi benefit) tho the whole scenes between them is hilarious for me and fresh air.
(3) Chinese odyssey Love is forever Sanzang version is having same crazy energy with Sanzang! Stephen Chow Demon strike back, even tho still have small range but they both hilarious and crazy for me (and he is cute). This sanzang really live up the "annoyance" energy and he really love to bully "wukong" so much, its only ep 5 but thsi sanzang really like to hug "wukong" a lot altho 6 ear seem gonna have heterosexual romance as well?? I think? Conclusion: I'm still at ep 5 tho the story seem really random but enjoyable beczu the humour and confusing at same time becuz the 2 plot they having, maybe I'll take time again to prepare for the randomness scene they will make altho im not sure if im gonna dedicated to watch full 41 eps, maybe jsut few only (sorry for separate into 3 part, I was typing on phone ahahah)
Hi anon! LOL unfortunately, I have seen that series! It was so bad LMAO, I only enjoyed it for the Wukong/Sanzang moments but it felt kinda fake to me because they kept trying to force that Wukong romance with the love interest. And 6 eared macaque had soooo many scenes it was ridiculous- he had more screen time than Wukong, Sanzang, AND Bajie. I thought the actor’s representatives were bribing the production or something lol.
You’re right about the plot though! That’s basically it. Sanzang was the best part because you’re right omg, he did have the same stupid crazy energy as Demons Strike Back Sanzang XD Even in the original Chinese Odyssey films, Sanzang was always very fond of Wukong. Thankfully, he doesn’t get a heterosexual romance here. But rest assured that there’s a Wukong het love triangle that Six Ear is also part of! And nobody will have chemistry with anybody asdfasdf
The separate asks came out fine! It’s up to you if you want to watch all 41 eps, but you’d be justified in just skipping around to the entertaining parts because they are very long and very bad LOL

someone sent me a screenshot from twitter of holly saying she’s interested in twewy and . hlvrai reapers game au.
preliminary thoughts:
coomer is a support reaper (or more likely a harrier who just kind of. mostly spends his time helping players anyway for fun).
like a certain someone from twewy canon, he’s actually been around for a long time and is quite strong, he’s probably been offered a promotion but turned it down.
his overall power is why he can get away with being.....Like That. (a rule breaker)
he probably likes hanging out with living folk. he boxes with them. they’re weaker than him by default but the other reapers don’t care to humor him. they’re too busy (he wins every time and they’re salty)
bubby is a harrier reaper
obviously he Loves it when the reapers are allowed to attack directly during the second half of the week, he doesn’t care about much else
i doubt he would care about getting promoted either. i think he would go the “kill god” route if he wanted one and not actually work for it.
not sure how to incorporate the tube stuff yet? can you engineer a reaper??? not really. i could make it painful and say he was a test tube baby who died but. what age did he die and why
benrey could be the composer just because it’s hilarious as fuck to me.
not sure Why yet, but maybe he killed gordon and took his memories so he could partner up w him during the game.
(i could be mean and like. make it angsty.
they Were friends but gordon forgot about him for some reason? maybe gordon could see spirits as a kid? and made friends with the lonely composer? and benrey got tired of being lonely and waiting for gordon to die)
he can still be the final boss! not up to working out the logistics of how this Game would go right now tho
since he’s gordons partner he has to have a combat motif. its gotta be passport related but idk yet
gman would be the producer i guess. no thoughts about this it just makes sense from a canon perspective.
WAIT GMAN RUNS A DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS RIP OFF INSTEAD OF THE FUCKING CAFE ASDFASDF IT FITS
tommy...m. if gmans the producer and he’s the producers son is he like? half-angel now? i don’t know how the angels feel about half-angels in twewyverse, but something tells me Badly
maybe gman is hiding him? in his cafe or w/e?
maybe tommy is the conductor? just bc i don’t know who else would be able to fit the slot, but presumably he’d be pretty strong if he’s half-angel
but i like the idea of him being Game Master better i think
tin pin slammer. TIN PIN SLAMMER (for the uninitiated its uhhhhh kind of like beyblade (i don’t know anything about beyblades, but tin pin is fighting tops? so)
gordon is a player ofc! which for anyone who’s not familiar means he’s already dead lol (so is everyone else tho) but if he Wins he can maybe come back to life (or become a reaper)
what if i said “take damage” and told u joshie was his entry fee?
he doesn’t mention joshie for the entire duration of the Game, and it’s because he literally doesn’t remember him!
instead of mr. h, it’s coomer who imparts the lesson of “trust your partner” to gordon. maybe he knows benreys the composer as he says this, maybe he doesn’t
obviously benrey takes his memories of Dying. but being around him causes him to Remember, so like. even though there’s no hand cut off scene he still ends up feeling betrayed by benrey bc he kind of remembers being killed
no darnold or forzen thoughts, i guess they can be players too but i just. we see them so little so idk. feel free to contribute to this i had more but my brain just shut off as i was typing

I know it's only been a day but I'm dying of curiosity, have you watched the spinoff yet? What are your thoughts?
Hi anon! As you can see, I posted an initial ramble in an earlier answer LOL I talked about my feelings for the new characters there so I won't bore you and repeat it.
In a nutshell: new banda was "meh." Cameron was hot and I hope she gets more breakout roles, but the character was written like a Tokyo/Nairobi knockoff without any of their depth or magnetism. And I personally didn't like how her backstory was treated (it wasn't taken seriously for the right reasons imo). Keila was surprisingly likable but I keep making a lemon face when I remember her being horny for Bruce's sweat. Same for Bruce. He would have been enjoyable if not for the pubic hair fetish that he keeps bringing up asdfasdf
I was most interested in Roi, and he didn't disappoint, but I was baffled over why the spinoff ignored the most important question: how did he meet Andres and why did Andres take him in?? Genuinely needed a flashback there.
Main questions that the show needs to, but didn't answer:
How did Damian/Keila/Roi/Cameron/Bruce meet Andres?
Why did Damian/Andres choose Cameron and Bruce to help?
Why weren't any of these people in the mint and bank heists? You can argue that Bruce/Keila/Cameron weren't close to Andres, but nothing indicated Damian and Roi would abandon him. Alicia "exposed" their identities, but they don't know she did that so it's HUH
Why did Andres replace them all with Jakov, Martin, and Santiago? I mean, I would too LOL but in universe, there needs to be some explanation
Why is he calling himself Berlin?
We also still have no idea why Andres and Sergio have different surnames since this show addressed nothing about them having the same or different parents. No idea when or why Andres became a thief, how he came to love heisting, etc. Overall, the spinoff chose to flash romances between the new characters instead of giving us more information about Andres, which was a stupid move imo.
That said, there were things I did like about the spinoff:
Aside from that hilarious tracksuit, Pedro pulled the various turtlenecks off more or less. He was gorgeous more often than not, but for what? smh
The ending was tight, exaggerated, and fun
I actually was hyped when Alicia and Raquel showed up
Lots of jokes/moments landed and made me laugh out loud
Camille topping Andres every chance she got was Quality content
The heist itself didn't have me on pins and needles, but it was entertaining and I never got bored of it
I liked that aside from Roi, Andres wasn't close to any of the young people on the team- that makes more sense with his character and also helps me forget the 27yo comment asdfadf
The shoutout to Sergio :') Hermanito lives rent free in Andres' mind
General elements that I wasn't a fan of, aside from the forced romances:
Not a berlicia shipper, but come on- why would you put Alicia and Andres in the same time space and NOT have them interact!?
The car race confused me, and not just because Cameron's phone breakdown made me cringe. I honestly don't understand why the racers needed a girl to stand on the roof. What purpose? How does that help or hinder the race- what- at first, I thought the girls were going to whack each other with sticks or try to break the other person's car and this was a high stakes death battle. But no, they just did this to be cool.
Speaking of the race, I think too many "cool" moments became boring because they were tailormade for the cool new stars; there should have been more moments like Berlin at the "opera"-- Ex. we should have gotten Damian and Andres at that race instead of Cameron and Roi- that would have been so much funnier, and thus more memorable
Andres' speeches were repetitive and made no sense, even for him. BUT it was hilarious how in the show's effort to ignore Martin, everything Andres says and does makes it look like he's waiting for his one true love in the form of Palermo, a man; even that no homo moment with Roi was so on-the-nose it has to be foreshadowing Martin XD
The ending with Camille was too open for my taste, especially pointless because we KNOW they don't end up together
BUT I do want a season 2, just so we can see Martin entering Andres' life and a glimpse of Sergio + any scrap of an actual backstory for Andres. They already did the romcom route, so maybe they'll experiment with yet another genre in s2, who knows lol.

What do you think about the Serlicia ship? (It actually surprised me that people ship it as a non-crack ship, but well, there are worse ships out there lol) What are your favourite crack ships?
Hi anon! Hmm, not a question I've actually thought about. Personally, I can't really see it- I guess I see why someone else would, but it doesn't make much sense to me in an uncracky way. Putting aside all the reasons in canon that should dissuade them from dating, their personalities don't seem compatible on any level. They had good chemistry as partners forced to work together, but that's it. I guess Berlin/Alicia is a crack ship on the same level, but imo, it makes more sense than serlicia, so I'm more neutral about that one (plus, I appreciate all the hilarious Tatiana=Alicia theories it spawned).
LOL My favorite crack ships, eh? Sagasta/Martin is #1 haha! They didn't share much time together, but I loved their chemistry. I don't count Pagota or Marsinki as crackships since they feel more probable to me. For some bizarre reason, Alicia/Nairobi appeals to me too (in the case of a MAJOR canon divergence AU of course). Tatiana and Nairobi also never met, but I'm all for it.
I don't consider Gandia/Andres a mutual "ship" crack or otherwise, since I can only envision it in the one-sided context of Gandia torturing him and getting off to it.
Also, please don't judge me anon: Sergio/Tokyo asdfasdf I love their relationship the way it is canon and wouldn't change a thing about their platonic dynamic, but I genuinely did wonder if they'd get together when I first started the show XD
Don't know if it counts as crack(?), but berlobi is a guilty pleasure sometimes XD (NOT because I'd ever wish that curse on Nairobi omg), but because Alba and Pedro had great chemistry.
And everyone knows Berlin/Moscow was totally canon!
EDIT: Can’t believe I forgot it! But Jakov/Andres is also another favorite crack ship now!

There's one argument I came across in both fandom and general audiance spaces, that Andrés acted all lovey around Martín to manipulate him and get his help for the plan. Honestly I hate it but sometimes I question myself, if I'm too much of a Berlermo fan to see clearly? Then again: what kind of manipulation is when both of them loved the plan, Martín wasn't there only for Andrés, but for the plan too. The show never told us otherwise. What do you think?
I've seen the manipulation argument but not in context of the plan specifically asdfasdf this is honestly the funniest thing to me anon adfasdf I'm SENT.
Like, what's Andres' end angle here?? What's he planning to do after they get the gold together? to tell Martin he's been pranked and then run away with the gold himself?? Or is he planning to take this "manipulation" to the grave so nobody else ever finds out?? This isn't a class project he can just ditch his partner on after they get the grade, this is hilarious asdfasdf
Let's take the berlermo filter off for a second. I think the people who say that just don't understand that you can simply be somebody's friend because you like them as a friend. Andres and Martin were friends- it wasn't just "Martin was in love with some guy." Your friend hangs out with you and does stuff with you because they want to, not because they want you to engineer a 10-year master plan. Which is an awfully long time to "manipulate" someone you don't even like.
That said, let's look at what canon says. Nowhere does it even say the plan was Andres' idea. If anything, it's more likely that it was Martin's idea and Andres hopped on. Martin is the one with a personal stake (taking his continent's gold back) in it, and the one who stuck with it to the end. He made it perfectly clear to us that he was here for the love of a man and the love of a plan.
We also saw Andres get very defensive when Sergio told him Martin was hard to control and a factor that hindered their plan instead of helped. If he was just using Martin to engineer the plan, shouldn't he have agreed with Sergio and told him the truth? Just said he'd take the plan from Martin and implement it without him? But no, he was adamant that they needed to do it with Martin and that Sergio was being a meanie for not realizing how important it is that Martin is just physically there with Andres at all times.
TLDR; Andres manipulating Martin into loving him for 10 years so he could create the gold plan for him is a masterclass theory on par with "Tatiana got plastic surgery to become Alicia. Then she became pregnant with Berlin's child because her husband is named German, and Berlin is a city in Germany. GENIUS!"

I was struck by an idea last night after reading one of your posts and it just wouldn't leave me alone! So during the Mint Heist, the Professor is supposed to be in his early 40s and Tokio in her late 20s approaching 30. So I'd assume there is a 13-15 year age difference between them. We also know from the first episode that Tokio started doing robberies as a teenager, with her older boyfriend.
Now, suppose in an AU where the robberies don't work out quite so well and the boyfriend leaves Tokio to go his own way. Tokio is a teenager, she's left all alone, wanted by the police, she can't go home to her mom. She's lost and scared but she decides to try to manage it on her own. Unfortunately at that age she doesn't have the experience to plan her robberies well.
Cue to 30ish year old Sergio minding his own business and scouting out a location for a smaller heist for him and Andrés (the Mint heist didn't pay itself after all) and he stumbles in the middle of a bad robbery run by a teenager. Tokio gets hurt and Sergio wants to help so he manages to buy her enough time to get away. He tracks her down and more or less takes care of her wound. Tokio is mutinous about it but on the other hand it's nice that somebody takes care of her.
Sergio kind of interrogates her to find out the whole story and is in a big dilemma because he doesn't want to leave her alone to continue to live like that. As always when Sergio doesn't know what to do, he thinks of his brother and he remembers a very familiar scene : a younger kid, hurt and alone, looking mistrustfully at a young man who appeared out of thin air to take care of him, wanting to believe the stranger but at the same time knowing good things don't happen to him. So Sergio decides to adopt a 16-year-old Silene, like his brother before him.
So they just start to live together, and Sergio teaches her everything she wants to know, including how to plan/run a heist. He doesn't know what he's doing, but neither did Andrés and it all turned out all right in the end didn't it? Besides, she seems happier than before. Tokio is safe, loved and has found someone to trust who will never leave her. The heists are merely a bonus. Andrés hates Tokio the minute he sets his eyes on her. The feeling is mutual. For the first time in his life he's jealous because Sergio found someone to love...like he loves HIM. He even wants to get rid of her until one evening Sergio looks at him with his big eyes and says "Andrés she was just like me, and I could help her, like you helped me", and Andrés still hasn't figured out a way to say no to his Hermanito after 20 years. So now the 2 have an understanding where they don't stab each other because Sergio would be sad. They don't acknowledge that they might begin to like each other.
Just, all the father - daughter feels that Sergio-Tokio have in canon dialed up to 11.
Hi hi! Before I get into your idea (that I love btw!), just wanted to say hello!! You were the first person who ever commented on "Hermanito" and I remember being so stunned by your lovely review, especially because it was the very first lcdp fic I wrote and I was worried that it wasn't getting feedback because readers hated it. So you're a big part of why I kept writing for the fandom afterwards and I was so happy to meet someone who cared so much about the hermanos :)
re: the idea: OMG That is big brained, I love it. I think the professor was mentioned as late 30s early 40s during the Mint Heist so those numbers are definitely correct! The age difference between Sergio and Tokyo is what I always headcanoned as the difference between him and Andres, which just makes it fascinating.
I kept reading this ask, wondering where it was going, and it absolutely did not disappoint. YES, AU where Sergio adopts Tokyo early is not something I knew I needed so much until now. I just love his relationship with Tokyo so much (easily the second best platonic relationship in the show!). And I can see it- Tokyo too stubborn and afraid to go home, but also lost, scared, and afraid to show vulnerability :') This feels so much like her and it's such an interesting concept about what would happen if she and her boyfriend broke up early. Because I think she'd try to continue her life of crime, but like you said, without him around, she wouldn't know where to start.
And I love your idea for how Sergio would cross paths with her. It sounds like something he would definitely do for Tokyo, and yes LOL, Tokyo would be so resistant at first, but also secretly enjoy it so much because she's desperate for a safety net (not that she'll let Sergio know). And I love how this cements Sergio as even more of a father figure/guardian angel in Tokyo's mind than in canon, just by virtue of the situation and how much younger she is.
Of course Sergio would overthink it XD But you're really killing me here, this is the exact kind of content my heart craves asdfasf. This part especially:
As always when Sergio doesn't know what to do, he thinks of his brother and he remembers a very familiar scene : a younger kid, hurt and alone, looking mistrustfully at a young man who appeared out of thin air to take care of him, wanting to believe the stranger but at the same time knowing good things don't happen to him. So Sergio decides to adopt a 16-year-old Silene, like his brother before him.
PLEASE, that parallel just *gets me*. Because in very many ways, it's the same situation and I love that Sergio sympathizes with her from the start and it's fascinating how in that instant, he goes, "What would Andres do? What did Andres do? Imagine what my life would be like if Andres chose to walk away..." then he makes up his mind and takes Tokyo in :'D
I just love fatherly/big brother Sergio so much. And this is the perfect scenario where we get hermanito AND hermano Sergio at the same time, with bonus "daughter" Tokyo and I'm this close to screaming. LOL to Tokyo, Sergio looks like he has his so put together and he knows exactly what he's doing when in reality, Sergio is just winging it and hoping it turns out for the best like it did with him and Andres.
Andrés hates Tokio the minute he sets his eyes on her. The feeling is mutual. For the first time in his life he's jealous because Sergio found someone to love...like he loves HIM.
This is so in-character, I NEED it now. Andres is now a grandfather. In all universes, Andres and Tokyo will hate each other the moment they meet. But also in a hilarious way, this works so well now that we know he was the one who wanted her in the banda in canon. Like, all this time, the spiritual connection between Andres, Silene, and Sergio was bound by fate XD He hates her because she's literally the genbend version of him and she hates him because he hates her (+ he's just like, an annoying person). And I can so see it- Andres would be burning with envy over Sergio's attachment to Tokyo, but he wouldn't know why until Sergio spells it out for him.
Then he does the surprise pikachu face. Turns out it's just a jarring experience to see his hermanito, the one person he loves above all else, pick up his own hermanita and love her above all else. Once the brothers have that talk and Andres has this big epiphany, he Knows he can never get rid of Silene. Plus like you said, Andres can never deny Sergio anything, especially knowing how much he loves his "daughter" :')
Andres *through grit teeth*: Welcome to the familia, Silene. I will lie down my life for you because Sergio loves you.
Silene *also through grit teeth*: Thank you, Andres. I too will lie down my life for you because Sergio loves you.
asdfasdf They think they're just putting up with each other for Sergio's sake, and actively refuse to acknowledge the fact that they're growing on each other. But Sergio knows. Their "bonding" was all part of his plan and he just innocently sits between them with his milk and cookies while they all watch a movie that he picked because Andres and Silene couldn't agree on one.
Thank you so much for this ask omg. This is an AU I need with all my heart now. The funny thing is I actually really wanted to write a Tokyo & Sergio story, but could never settle on an idea. Now this idea with the father-daughter feels between Sergio & Tokyo dialed up to 11 set against the backdrop of extreme hermanos, is like a gift from heaven :'D

I'm risking sounding terribly egoistical by sending a public ask about my own url here but I'm doing it!!!!! I need the super graphic-details
Your ego is my ego, dearest nharidy. There's a reason the doc is named after you hahaha
[ 👉 My Wips ]
OK so the Absolvisti sequel's been sitting in my head since well, the week after I published it lmao. But I never got around to writing because I wasn't sure if it was being too self-indulgent (I'm feeling more confident about it now that I know you'll be pleased by it!). Also because I was having trouble deciding on a pov: should I continue with the Tatiana 1st person pov as always? Change it up to Martin 3rd person? or surprise: 1st person Don Juan?? Should it be a new chapter or new fic? (def. open to suggestions here!) Also I think it'd be Iconic to publish a story in the Dies Irae universe with our new cat profile pics.
Graphic detail time :D Prepare for a SUPER LONG answer LMAO. Most of the things I mentioned here and here will make their way in, with maybe a bonus ns/fw chapter from Martin or Andres' pov. The main story is SFW however, and there's like a hilariously high amount of hurt!Andres, who doesn't have demons to rely on anymore but still carries all the permanent damage the demons left on him:
It takes place some months after Absolvisti so Andres is doing better, but not fully well yet. He's not actively dying anymore but he does faint a lot and isn't exactly making a full recovery. Because I wanted to make things harder for Martin. Because he's not a young man anymore, the wounds were super extensive, and this is the result of years of accumulated damage + a form of "withdrawal" (the shadows/demons that used to feed on him were also the things that kept him alive so it's one big cycle that his body isn't leaving that easily).
This means every time Martin plans something nice for him like seeing a play or going out for a nightly walk, Andres can't go through the whole thing without feeling unwell. (Martin: "I over-exerted the love of my life. I am so SELFISH. what does Andres see in me??" Andres: "I disappointed the love of my life. I am the WEAKEST. what does Martin see in me??" Tatiana: feed me, bitches)
They manage to sit through one play though (not sure if I want this at the beginning or end of the fic LMAO). It's the one Bogota wrote, The Necromancer's Lament, a "biopic" about Andres' life. And it's every bit as terrible as Martin expected. Bad special effects, bad acting especially from Martin's actor, Andres' actor has a beard, and Tatiana looks like this:
Tumblr media
Andres thinks it's the best play ever. Martin hates it and demands a refund. Tatiana hates it too but Don Juan's like, "mi amor, you are still beautiful to me, even as a deformed puppet."
Martin's 120-page complaints aside, Bogota runs the theatre troupe with his partner, Nairobi/Agata, and they're both going to start teaching performing arts at Santa Catalina because the last drama professor died lmao
Meanwhile, Santa Catalina has a new bad girl student, Tokyo/Silene! Sergio took her in as a charity case after some dark and mysterious events in her life. But Tokyo being Tokyo can't stay away from trouble, and she becomes obsessed with finding the demons that Andres expelled. Some bizarre possessions start happening again and the school's sponsors force Raquel to keep it under wraps. (Raquel: maybe if you increased funding, we wouldn't have so many problems!!)
In the meantime, Martin gets that letter from a long lost relative asking to meet him. Not sure about the order of this either. Anyway, Martin was planning to ignore the relative, but Andres insists he go. Either Tatiana or Don Juan accompany him. Martin learns that he's the sole heir of his dead parents across the sea (the will: “we forgive you for being a heretic, a freak of nature, and the alchemist of Palermo. also no hard feelings for leaving you to die as a baby xoxoxo”). There's one (1) condition though: he has to end his partnership with the necromancer. Martin: NO THANKS.
So while Martin's dealing with this unexpected drama, Sergio decides to call in Andres' expertise TM again because it's also a good excuse to talk to his brother. Martin is Very wary about this and rejects him. But Andres insists that it'll be fine. Plus, maybe he wants to turn a new leaf and help Santa Catalina for nothing in return this time. Not everyone gets a second chance at life and he doesn't want to be a bad person anymore uwu (Tatiana: "Andres was a pretentious piece of shit, surprising no one." Martin: "Nobody deserves Andres, not even me, and I'm like, the most amazing person in the world.")
Andres comes to do the exorcism with the random priest the school hired. And they discover there aren't any demons- it's just some ghost fucking around (maybe I'll make it the spirit of Gandia or Alicia since they haven't shown up yet lol). Anyway, it doesn't go very well but Andres gets rid of the creature or whatever. Not before it punctures a hole in his side though. Then Martin loses it, just full-on screams at Sergio for almost getting Andres killed again, makes a lot of threats against the school, etc. etc.
Raquel, being more useful, plugs up the wound. But the priest accidentally provokes Martin more by asking Raquel if he should mop up Andres' blood with holy water or something. What if the necromancer's blood is cursed?? And now it's all over the floor, so disgusting :/
Martin, already in a very bad mood, beats the priest up.
They go home. Martin's in a really sour mood and he just doesn't understand why Andres isn't mad at Sergio. Martin: "It's really emotionally damaging to me if you don't give a fuck about yourself." Andres makes him even angrier by bringing up the Berrote family will and having the audacity to suggest Martin leave him for money. He makes a huge case about how he literally has nothing to offer Martin except a body that barely works and a terrible reputation. Martin: "I lost a fucking eye for you??"
They fight and Martin storms away, and also kidnaps Don Juan, his honorary new soulmate who would never betray him like Andres.
A while after this, the Spanish Inquisition local clergy arrests Andres for "questioning." Because the shenanigans at Santa Catalina are still going on and that one priest suspects him of being behind everything just because. Raquel's the one who bails him out. She may not like Sergio's brother, but the way everyone else treats him is ridiculous.
Andres limps home, hoping Martin's still away. Surprise! Martin felt guilty and came back. And it's pretty obvious that Andres has just been tortured. Martin: "Say no more. I'm going to kill some people."
Andres gets Martin to not do anything stupid by dropping the thing with the will. He admits he was wrong for saying those things to Martin and he selfishly, genuinely wants to stay with Martin forever. Martin: "I'm still going to kill your brother. You may appease me with a kiss."
Does it end here? No! Because the shit at Santa Catalina is still happening. Andres and Martin solve it for good though. But it's all very dramatic. I'm vaguest about this part, but maybe Nairobi's injured saving Tokyo, and this gives Tokyo the wakeup call to move on from whatever baggage that got her into this mess in the first place. Then Andres' solution for saving Nairobi is to ask Martin to work that alchemist magic and transfer her wounds onto himself (at this point, we're just going overboard with the Andres whump but asdfasdf why stop??). Raquel: Sergio, tell your brother to stop dying. That's a bad example for the kids.
It takes a lot of convincing, but Martin relents in the end, only because he trusts Andres. At this point, Andres has been through so much that he physically cannot take any more damage. Like, he just can't lmao. So the whole process puts Andres into a coma or something. But we don't need him anymore because now we can revel in Martin's angst!
Martin spends the rest of his time crying and angsting and guilt-tripping Sergio, and just being very loud in general. He also writes back to his family and tells them to fuck off.
Once we indulge in enough of Martin's pain, Andres finally wakes up. Still very bad off but he's alive and not showing signs of dying any time soon. So that's good enough for Martin. They have a nice heart-to-heart, and idk, maybe Raquel comes to see them because Sergio's too embarrassed to. Until Andres insists, because he loves hermanito unconditionally uwu. Martin: "watch your back, Sergio. I might murder you in your sleep (:"
Then at the very end (I have no idea how long this story is LOL), there's some kind of family photoshoot between Raquel, Sergio, and Paula. Everyone's raving over this new invention called the "camera." Andres is admiring it from a distance until Raquel's like, "get over here. what part of FAMILY photoshoot do you not understand!?"
Andres is shocked pikachu face because good will towards him for once?? he's being included in something?? people want him around?? what is happening??
Martin's happy for him though. Then he's admiring from a distance until Raquel's like, "I said FAMILY photoshoot. Get over here, Martin!"
Tatiana didn't want to be a part of it, but Paula saw her favorite talking cat and like, grabbed her lmao. Don Juan photobombs it because he can't be excluded from an activity with Tatiana, especially when his former rival Andres is in the photo too. (His current rival is Casanova, an unworthy white cat vying for Tatiana's affections)
Sergio proposes to Raquel. The end! Yes, the kitty love triangle is also a central theme of this story LMAO Hope that satisfies you, nharidy! And I welcome any and all suggestions!
