Q: What is your coffee order?

Black with simple syrup for when I feel dead, otherwise Americano, two shots of hot milk and one sugar.

Q: What is the coolest thing you’ve ever done?

Survived cancer (once)

Swam with whales in the Atlantic

Hiked the Arctic Tundra

Had dinner with Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya

Had one of my fanfics picked up by Penguin Random House to be published into a novel.

Q: Who has been your biggest mentor?

Career wise? My mother, she’s a trauma surgeon, works 18 hour days and has 5 kids, in my eyes, she’s God.

For writing? Stephen King even though he doesn’t mentor me lol.

Q: What has been your most memorable writing project?

It’s a toss up between It’s all fun and games, until you catch feelings and Tear in my heart. It’s all fun and games it what really put me on the map as a tumblr writer and Tear in my heart is the story that got picked up to be made into a novel. Both of them are my heart and soul because I poured so much of myself into every chapter.

Q: What does your writing path look like, from the earliest days until now?

I started writing in middle school, most of the time it was my English teacher named Sasha (who till today I credit my creativity too because she helped me so much) who encouraged me to take up creative writing to help me speak better English, as it’s not my first language.

I would write short stories on anything and everything (Mostly Jonas Brother fanficion lmao) and that became Goosebumps fanficiton etc.

I stopped writing for a while even though in high-school I tried to outline a novel a few times but failed at doing so because I had other things like boyfriends at getting engaged at 18 on my mind lol.

I only got into Marvel Fanfiction I think in 2016, I dabbled in reading a few chapters of this and that, mainly Steve Rogers and when I was finally comfortable with it, I posted my first sorta canonically correct fic titled Nothing like home. which is just hot garbage lol

But over time I guess I got better.

Q: What is your favorite part about writing?

Getting feedback from my Beta.

Q: What does a typical day look like for you?

Wake up at 5AM, go to the gym work out for 45 minutes and convince myself I am getting skinny,

Eat breakfast and tell myself I’m fat,

Go to my boring finance job where I get yelled at and cry behind my desk twice a day, work work, work,

Some day’s treatment where I convince myself my hair isn’t thinning and I look fabulous, this never works.

Then lunch, drink a healthy smoothie,

Work again, see clients, move money around, pretend I am Billionaire Tony Stark and I am so cool (jk im not),

See my therapist, talk about how I don’t want to kill myself just bc I’m sick.

Go home, make dinner, annoy my roommate, sit down and write for a few hours, publish some average fanfiction and hope people like it.

Go to sleep and repeat this hum-drum process again for another 40 years.

Q: What does your writing process look like?

I have the following steps when I write:

Get an idea, jot it down. write out the ending or the outline for the ending. So I have a vision of where I am going with this.

Bounce these ideas around with my beta and make a moodboard, those always help me figure out my plot.

Figure out who my characters are going to be eg. Happy Steve? Sad Steve? Angsty? Fluffy? My inspiration depends a LOT on where the idea comes from.

Once i have my characters, I write down who dies, who lives, who ends up sad, happy, what changes their characters will go through and most importantly, how am I getting to the ending I see in sigh.

I write and write and write then bug my beta to make sure the idea is fine, no plot holes etc and I take it from there. Usually the editing process deletes half of the fic but yeah.

And that’s my process haha. it’s hot garbage.

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve gotten?

"You might as well say fuck it and do it anyway because if you die, you die” - My mother

Q: What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned?

It doesn’t hurt to be kind to someone, even if they are shitty to you. One nice word to a stranger can change anyone’s life, your’s included.

Q: What advice would you give someone who wants to start writing?

Don’t stress it too much, don’t over think what you are writing. Just put your idea onto that document/paper. If you feel like it’s not good enough let someone else be the judge of that, hence the idea of a beta.

If you don’t get feedback immediately, don’t be discouraged. it doesn’t mean your work isn’t good enough it just means you haven’t found your audience.

Lastly, If you want to start writing, three things to remember. 1. Don’t get into your own head and discourage yourself. 2. Every idea is great, you just have to find your audience. 3. Creativity starts with an idea.

Does it mean anything?anyone else paranoid about people stealing their unpublished work or ideas or name bc me. her name is ary and i found it from a generator [lmao so original] and i thought it was cute. her last name is like pretty standard for fantasy and it inspired me to have everyone elses last names in a similar vibe2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?WELL lmao shes had a lot. prisoner #22876, the wraith, princess ary. ive scrapped all except the prisoner one and u can guess how she got it3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory? she was raised among royals and nobles so she has a lot of good memories with her parents and other kids her age running around doing dumb shit. most of her bad memories happen once she becomes a teenager4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents? she has an overwhelming love for her parents, she idolizes them heavily and is grateful for how much they taught her. a good memory is probably them teaching her how to use magic for the first time and she being unable to control it and almost burning her eyebrows off lmao5. Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood? she was one of those weird kids who preferred hanging out with her parents over everybody else. so she had one good friend in the academy whos still her friend today, but otherwise she would race home and annoy her mum lol8. Is it similar to how they see themselves? i think people see her as scarier than she is. shes a formidable opponent and does not give a fuck what you say, but her reputation precedes her a little bit, a lot of things she did out of fear or force are seen as ‘badass’ and ‘brave’46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?shes a compulsive liar, and a good one at that. so she tends to show herself differently to almost everyone she meets, but usually its a false potrayal47. Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?ugh she haaaaaates formal stuff and parties. she grew up royal and had to suffer through many a dinner and gathering. at this point in her life youd never get her in a dress that impeded her movement. shes ok with dresses but really big poofy ones she refuses to wear48. What if they didn’t want to go but were dragged along by a friend? in our world shed be one for a chill house party. show up with a case of beer, sit outside by the barbie, listen to music and talk shit. shes not good at organising so she doesnt tend to host, and if she were dragged by a friend itd probably be to a formal event or with people she didnt know so shed just sulk in the corner49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?she abandoned her material possessions before the story a. bc she was forced and b. they bring back way too many painful memories50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials? food, change of clothes, weapons. thats about it. she tries not to be super nasty and find an inn to shower and stuff but shes also poor af

I ended up writing a lot of these for all of my paras bc I can’t fucking stop myself n you’ve honestly heard enough of my mains and not enough of my others so I Had to I’m so sorry

🏈 Does your para enjoy playing sport?

Zazie does actually enjoy playing sports quite a bit, just.. alone. He’s not a team player, and often doesn’t know his own strength, so it’s better to let him do things on his own. He used to do a lot of running & parkour, but nowadays he mostly just works out on his own. He still does gymnastics tho. Tatsu very much loves playing sports, be it soccer, football, whatever, he’s in. He likes team sports, but he’ll still go work out alone most of the time. With Nyru it’s a bit more complicated, bc on one hand she has to be in top form for her concerts, but on the other, she really hates sports and just moving in general. Usually Zazie motivates her n they end up working out together, but otherwise, she doesn’t like playing any sports. Nyro plays a lot of chess, that counts right? Otherwise, he & Nyra really don’t like sports either. Meg & Ao tho work out a ton and always look incredible, and especially Meg enjoys playing sports, even if she’s not the best. She’s also quite strong tho, so that’s nice. I think Rin would be into sports as well, he’s all about a healthy balance in his life. He spends so much time painting, that I feel like he’d take some time for physical activities as well. Daiki is a fucking nerd and hates sports as much as Nyru, a subject they like to rant about a lot. Suki probably isn’t into sports either, like at all. Ami.. yeah actually. She spends a lot of time with the more active in the group, especially her brother, so she’d be into team sports as well.

OKAY u already know how much trouble I’m having with this one but. My first plan was to actually write them down, like, all those posts u always see, but I only really liked the one I wrote for Zazie, all the others I disliked. Now I’m going back to wanting to make boards, and I think that’d be really cool, but I just do not have the energy to make all of those first, so I’m putting this on my to do list and hopefully I’ll actually do that at some point lmao. Now I can finally post this beast. ✨

OKAY so uhh. With any other person I would just take some more points from my hella long list of fun facts about Zazie, but you know literally all of them. I think?? Yeah literally every single one of these I’ve told you about. So. Huh. What do I do now. We’re at a point where I can’t tell you shit about Zazie & Nyru bc you literally know everything. So let’s see if I can come up with some other facts about Tatsu on the spot bc he needs more love.

despite the fact that he’s been appearing a lot less in my daydreams, my heart still goes ❤️🚨❤️🚨❤️ when I think about Tatsu.

i mean COME ON he’s amazing and he needs to come back I miss him!!!!!! I just feel like he’s been.. sorta withdrawn and depressed since he’s no longer with Nyra. That happened a while ago tho, idk maybe he’ll finally come back soon.

not sure if I ever told u this?? but he also doesn’t have a gag reflex. like at all. zero (0). 👀 for some reason he likes to bring this up in the most random moments too.

he’s actually fluent in 4 languages, at some point Zazie dragged him down the rabbit hole and they learned a bunch of languages together. these are English, Spanish, Japanese & German.

he has an incredible voice as well, obviously. it’s relatively high, but has this.. hmm I guess seductiveness about it? not sure how to explain it lmao. apart from Jay Kay & Brendon Urie, this song here is very close.

he can hit ridiculously high notes, on the same level as Nyru actually.

I told u this before, but his theme song is hey look ma, I made it due to how fucking perfect it is for him. he was very close with his birth mother, but she died shortly after his sister’s birth. his step mother was very abusive & made their life a living hell, and now, many years after they’ve gotten out of that situation, he still wishes he could show his real mother what has become of them.

he really didn’t deserve all of the bad shit that has happened him. sadly, he’s kind of a sheep, he just follows along with whatever’s happening. he’s not a bad person at all, he truly has a heart of gold, he just doesn’t have the strength to actually fight against anything. not really.

so in situations where he has to do bad things bc Zazie basically tells him to, he’ll do it, matter how much he hates it. man writing that out is actually heartbreaking damn.

he has a lot of regrets in his life, but the biggest one is probably his relationship with Nyra. he really did love her (still does tbh but don’t tell anyone), it’s just that he really fucked that up. and I don’t think he’ll ever be able to have a normal, healthy monogamous relationship the way Nyra wanted. so that’s heartbreaking as well. why did this turn into me talking about how fucking sad I am about Tatsu lmao ok we done here
