dude Strickler and NotEnrique. I loved them too. Strickler was kinda neat. I just loved him as a teacher/bad guy. And I'm hoping for some change in him. (ha! change for the changling!) and NotEnrique is so cuuutttteeee. Its been a while since I've watched Troll Hunters but man I loved it.

//Strickler is definitely one of my favorites and I really enjoyed how they set up his character, because it was very obvious to me that this was a creature who had grown comfortable with his human guise/life and wasn’t looking forward much to Gunmar returning, but was only doing so because it was The Right Thing to Do and because Bular Said So.

I definitely want for him to return to Barbara’s side and try to regain her affections on a more truthful basis, and I’d love for him to join the crew. I think Strickler and NotEnrique would be good candidates for showing the trolls that Changelings are not all evil; I mean, Blinky said it first, Changelings were troll babies that had something terrible done to them by the Gumgums. Strickler and NotEnrique both started out as Bad Guys but that changed, and maybe you could argue that Strickler only changed when his own safety was at risk, but he honestly cares for, possibly even loves Barbara and I find that fascinating, that he’d be willing to throw aside all he worked for to save this one human he’s caught feelings for.

As for NotEnrique, man, I want more shit with him and Claire. I read a really cute fic where they kind of dance around each other a bit but their feelings for one another are entirely sibling-like and NotEnrique’s progression throughout the show was great to watch. I’m a sucker for the mismatched siblings trope.
