Keep thinking of Buck and Bucky's perception of Rosie through their eyes. When they meet him, Rosie's a great pilot, has been training gunners for ages and knows his way around a plane well - but has yet to see any combat. He's that wide-eyed kind of hopeful that he can make a difference.
When they meet him again by the end of the series, Rosie's gone on to fly 52 missions. He's well and truly past his first tour, and well into his second. The rest of the 100th adore him and respect him as a leader; and Rosie adores them all right back.
Despite all of that, Rosie still seems like the same person - undemonstrative, and a little more heaviness to his shoulders perhaps, but that wide-eyed hope that I can make a difference hasn't faded.

Given Stroud trashed the place in another series, I wonder what happened to the British Museum in L&Co. That place has got to be turbo haunted. Did people panic and burn it down? Did they go through the expense of encasing every artifact in silver glass and now they've got stolen artifacts and stolen spirits on display? Is the whole area cordoned off? (In which case Marissa definitely re-stole everything and tossed it into her hell portal for a double dose of imperialism.) If they returned everything, most of the haunting would probably stop, but would even a massive vengeful ghost infestation convince the British to return the shit they stole? Doubtful. They'd probably fall back on the old 'they don't have proper storage facilities' chestnut except for ghost control instead of artifact preservation.

so we know that Kan-E uses makeup to appear more mature and old so foreign dignities that don't know Padjal take her more serious. Do you think in a modern AU she'd have a makeup tutorial channel? Or even without AU teach others about makeup?
HMMMMMMM
Honestly i dont think she would have a makeup channel/any sort of place to display her skills to a large audience because she's too reserved for that (imo). BUT!!! Maybe she would teach people she likes. And maybe it would be for fun instead of the - no doubt - thick coats of makeup she has to apply for her job. im sure my wol ended up getting bright blue eyeliner on her face at least once
In the background, a-ruhn disapproves of the use of makeup altogether as it would not befit padjals
