Hi friendly reminder that being Pro-Palestine does not automatically equate being Anti-Israel.
Friendly reminder that being Pro-Palestine should not mean wanting the Israeli people to die.
Friendly reminder that the Israeli government does not speak for the Israeli people.
Friendly reminder that people don't deserve to die because their government/military decided to do a warcrimes.
Friendly reminder that the Israeli people being innocent in this does not mean the Israeli government can continue to commit a Genocide.
Friendly reminder that the countries supporting the Israeli government are still awful, and that being against them does not mean condemning the entire Israeli people.
Friendly reminder that there's fucking *nuance here*. That there are innocents on both sides and this fight has been being fought for decades and it's not fair to *anyone involved*. What is being done in Gaza and in all these other problems is an infringement on basic human rights. *But if you use that to justify saying all Israeli people should die, then you are no better than those who try to justify the Israeli's government's actions.*
For fuck's sake people, how hard is it to understand that *no one* deserves to die? That both sides involved deserve a home and a government who doesn't continue to fund this stupid fucking turf war that leads to innocent deaths? Israel exists and should continue to exist. Palestine exists and should continue to exist. There are innocent Israelites and innocent Palestinians. If either of them die that's a fucking tragedy, no matter which government is doing it.
Stop the war. Call for a ceasefire. But the goal of those things should not be eradicating a people or a nation. If you want there to be a ceasefire to prevent Israel from destroying Palestine, and yet turn around and say Israel shouldn't exist, you aren't anti-genocide. You aren't anti-war. You're anti-Israel. And that's not fucking okay.

The Israel & Palestine War
First of all I want to say:
I support the Palestinians who want peace.
I support the Israelians who want peace, and speak out against or towards their government to stop their oppression and find a compromise to achieve peaceful resolutions for both sides.
However -
The amount of people defending the kidnapping, hostage taking, the slaughter of innocents & children - especially if they're Jewish, along with the RAPE of the women kidnapped & pulled from their cars, homes, vehicles, birthday parties, raves and other places is disgusting.
Out of the tourists and relatives of those, deaths aside – All those who speak of the extreme hostage situations or utmost vile acts imposed upon them (rape, murder of their family, being hunted etc) only speak of the Hamas terrorists taking them & doing such ... Which is a very, very dumb play to make from a strategic point of view ... Like, did they not consider - To stop and think, how countries are gonna retaliate when they see their citizens taken hostage or terrorised by a foreign armed force?
Jews are slaughtered, raped and tormented.
Queers are slaughtered, raped and tormented.
Innocents who just want to live their lives are slaughtered, raped and tormented.
This isn't opinion, or propaganda - This is fact. There's mountains of evidence at this point in time to demonstrate such, along with even admitted or outright posted by the terrorisers themselves via media outlets who're cheering and bragging about it.
The extremists of the war & the Hamas supporters can bang their chest and say “Who cares? We are the best!” or some other self-justifying BS excuses – but when they have half the world raining down on them to take vengeance in the name of their kin, they’re going to quickly realise just how large the world actually is – and how truly small they are.
“The silent killer of great countries and civilisations of high achievement – is hubris.”
“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people are so full of doubts.”

Nakba 1948, Nakba 2023
Yesterday’s footage of thousands of Palestinian evacuating to the south on foot evokes terrible memories of the Nakba for millions of Palestinians around the world. This can still be prevented— please don’t stop now.

Kind reminder that the reason so many innocent children are having such horrible deaths in Gaza is because Hamas, their government who's "just fighting back against the oppression", hide their warring weapons and guns underneath civilian locations, specially schools and hospitals, because they know it's a win-win tactic for them.
-If Israel doesn't attack their hiding places because of the civilians, Hamas gets to keep their armament and continue killing Jews.
-If Israel does attack the hiding places and kill countless civilians in the process, they'll be depicted as the villains and more support for Hamas' cause. Literally nobody would mention the previous weaponry station that was there.
You're welcome.

To all the people who side with Palestine and calls Israel the bad guys, answer me this, are you in support of Hamas? And do you believe that the terrorist attack on Israel was justified?

hamas ≠ palestine. a militant extremist group is not synonymous with innocent civilians nor do they have civilians best interests in mind.
the mainstream media is intentionally framing the conflict as 'israel vs. hamas' rather than 'israel vs. palestine'. this is a false equivalence fallacy that seeks to imply being anti-zionist makes you pro-hamas; it seeks to demonize and deny palestinian civilians sympathy and personhood.
'hamas are terrorists' and 'palestinians have a right to defend themselves against israeli forces' are statements that can and should coexist.

I know I’m kicking a hornet’s nest, and this may be an unpopular opinion here in the west, but I find it based in truth.
A lot of Christians seem to think we must support Israel at any cost, that Israel is the chosen of God and that it would be a sin against God to even disagree with the nation.
While I agree it is important to recognize the covenant God made with the people of Israel, the Bible itself espouses the idea that Israel repeatedly abuses this covenant and always falls short of what God wants.
I do believe the land belongs to them, we have biblical and archaeological evidence that dates back to the bronze age that it does - but let’s get it straight here:
They are not the good guys. I do not need to tell anyone that Hamas is evil, but I do not believe for a second Israel isn’t complicit in terrible acts - propaganda on either side be damned. The idea that victims are always sinless, or that perpetrators might be excused because of their background has done incredible damage to the average person’s capability for logic.
The Israelites have repeatedly strayed away from their divine connection to worship other gods, bring blasphemous objects into the temple, and - though strangely many Christians refuse to acknowledge this - they were indeed the ones who killed Jesus.
Judas didn’t go to the Romans to betray Jesus, he went to the Sanhedrin, the Pharisees. The Pharisees went to the ruling power of Rome and demanded Jesus’ head. The Jews chose Barabbas to free instead of Jesus. The Jews were the ones responsible, unquestionably - but that was the plan from the beginning.
Even today, the Jewish religious elite is obsessed with law and tradition in a way that is absolutely unsustainable. Their religious texts are filled to the gills with pagan influence. The Babylonian Talmud, for instance.
Today, many believe Jesus was a mad homosexual who is currently in hell boiling in excrement (whether or not this is supported in the Babylonian Talmud is up for debate, but the fact that necromancy and other occult practices are in the text aren’t).
The major conflict of the Bible has always been satan’s attempt to disrupt God’s plan. Corrupting the flesh of the earth so Jesus couldn’t be born didn’t work, so what better way to stop the plan than to corrupt God’s people in their hearts? Make them so over the top religious most couldn’t even find their savior when confronted with him face to face.
It is Israel’s repeated failings that paved a way for gentiles to be allowed into the new covenant through Christ.
In Luke chapter 2 (29-32), the wise man Simeon even acknowledges this, stating:
Tumblr media
God planned on saving us Gentiles all the way from Jesus’ birth, it wasn’t just some fluke Jesus decided about partway through his ministry. Even the wise recognized the Gentiles would be saved and bring glory back to Israel.
Now, this is important for multiple reasons, and Israel’s failing to be faithful has everything to do with them.
1. God made a covenant with Israel, and no matter how faithless (even adulterous) they are, God is good and will not break his promise.
2. God banked on Israel’s wickedness to kill Christ and therefore usher in the new covenant, saving both the Jew and the Gentile
3. No part of Israel being holy or good had anything to do with this - which ties back into the way being to God is through Jesus Christ, not by works, so that no man may boast.
Israel has to be the bad guys because satan has tried everything to corrupt them and get God to break his promise. He hasn’t and he won’t - even when some of them were worshipping Canaanite gods and throwing their children in the fire.
No matter how bad Israel gets, God will not break his promise. This shows the glory of God that he is faithful unto all else.
And the ending is already written. One day the Jewish people will recognize the glory of Christ. They will come back around.
That coming back around is why we support Israel. Not because they are sinless or more holy than the gentiles (though I have unironically heard some Christians say all Jews get an automatic pass to heaven), but because they show the extremes God will go to to bring us back to him.
It doesn’t matter how far you go. Ask for forgiveness and God will take you back with open arms.
————————
Side note:
Before I get accused of antisemitism for simply stating Israel is flawed like the rest of us - I do not for a second believe that they are wholly evil people. I speak more of Israel as an institution than individuals, the same way it would be ridiculous to measure all Americans by the same rod.
What a country does isn’t always what the people wants, and it’s not my place to say what Israel should and shouldn’t do.
I would simply like for Christians to know who they are supporting and why. And, ideally, correct their reasoning.
No one on earth is without sin, especially God’s chosen.
But God always chose the meek, the sick, the social outcasts, and the damned to be his messengers, didn’t he? :)

So I had made a comment on a post stating that the specific lot out of the Palestinians who are categorically justifying the RAPE of the hostages & those that're kidnapped in the current Israel conflict are 'pests' - and I got told to kill myself. lol

I don't know who needs to read this but:
Hamas is a terrorist group. Palestine is under a terrorist, radical government. These people have been using Palestinians, their own people, as human shields to hide their weaponry and hidings for years. Under schools, hospitals and civilian houses, not giving a fuck about their deaths.
Hamas doesn't represent Palestine

Hey, this post is gonna be a bit different from the others on my blog. Pretty political, so if you don’t want to see this, just scroll over.
you probably see all of these political posts all over every single social platform for the Palestine vs Israel conflict
you know what you want me to say
but a decent chunk of my family is Israeli. my neighbors are Israeli. it’s hard to just completely villainize them because of where they came from
both countries are doing terrible things and personally I don’t support either attacking force. I support the victims, on both sides, who desperately want this war to stop.
I don’t want my opinion or anyone else’s opinions to turn into “oh you’re not my friend anymore” or “you’re not allowed to be seen near me” or any form of bullying or exclusion. It doesn’t need to be that way.
We should not let politics impact who we’re silly with. It might matter at the polls, or during debates, but why should it matter when we’re just silly scrolling through social media or having fun online in a game? It’s pointless and rude to involve politics in everything.
Calling out against Israel’s genocide is important. So is calling out against the similar force of the Palestinian government. There are victims on both sides who are still human. Man (or woman, or whatever you are) up and accept humans are dying on both sides because of a stupid war that doesn’t even need to happen.
