Summary : being in a relationship with Luffy was great! It was refreshing,fun and always so thrilling. But... sometimes you cant help but to wonder if Luffy is actually serious about you or is it all just a game to him...

Laughter fills the kitchen of Going Merry as Usopp tries to fit another cupcake in his mouth.

You watch as Sanji shakes his head disapprovingly,Nami sharing a disgusted look with Zoro who's smirking slightly. And Luffy-

Monkey d. Luffy. The boy you grew up with and loved since the very beginning. The boy who dreamed so big even when he was small;the boy who became your captain.

And now,the boy who became your boyfriend after a tiny peck and shy confession on your part. But as you watch him stuff a donut in his mouth; seemingly competing with Usopp,you cant help but to wonder if you've made the wrong decision.

What if Luffy didnt even know how relationships work? What if he thought your confession was referring to being his best friend or something along those lines?

The thought has you stomach twisting and you gently push your plate away. Sanji,of course notices and shifts his attention to you.

"is the food not to your liking?"

You shake your head with a smile and rise from your sit .

"it was lovely as always Sanji. But I'm afraid I'm not hungry anymore."

"then I will wrap this for when you're hungry."

You give him a grateful smile and nod your head.

"thank you,Sanji."

And without looking at anyone else,you silently leave the kitchen.

As you step on the deck,the cool wind hits your face and makes you take a deep breath;it feels refreshing to get some air. The weather is nice,and the sky is clear. You lean against the railing and rest your chin on top of your folded arms and sigh;the stars are twinkling above and although beautiful,your heart clenches painfully. Your thoughts are dark just like the night sky and you feel tears burning your eyes and you push your face in your sleeves.

You hate this feeling. You hate having to doubt your relationship with Luffy. You hate hate hate, having to think about all these problems alone without any reassurance and a shoulder to cry on.

You hate doubting Luffy,your Captain,and the boy you loved since your childhood days.

The sound of the wind and ocean drowns your first sobs as your tears soak your sleeves,and you crumble on the floor with you head between your knees. You needed comfort,you needed Luffy.

You're so lost in your own thoughts that you dont hear the door to the deck opening,nor you hear the footsteps coming closer to you. You're so confused and lost that when a gentle hand lands on your shoulder,you jerk your head up so fast that you cringe at the whiplash you gave yourself.

You come face to face with Luffy,and your eyes widen immediately.

"L-Luffy-?"

"y/n?why are you crying?!" His hands are frantic as he starts looking for any injuries and when he finds none,he takes your face in his hands, "what's wrong?you suddenly left the dinner now you're crying!tell me what's wrong!"

When you look at his brown eyes,and see so much concern in them,you finally break.

Your sobs are loud and painful as your nails push in your skin and you bite your lip hard to keep yourself from letting out a pitiful whimper. Luffy's eyes immediately draw to your lips that are almost bleeding from how hard you're biting them,and with a sad noise he jumps closer to press his lips to yours.

The action has your eyes widening,and you look at how he's squeezing his own shut.

When he pulls away,his thumb brushes against your bruised lips done by yourself,and frowns.

"don't hurt yourself like that. If something's wrong,tell me and I'll fix it. I promise."

"Luffy," your throat dries and your tongue darts out to wet your lips;still slightly dazed from the kiss, "do you even...want to be in a relationship with me?"

Your question has Luffy tilting his head, genuinely confused by it.

"what do you mean?"

"do you," you huff and rub harshly at your eyes. But before you can do any more harm,He wipes your tears with his own fingers softly, "do you even know how relationships work?like... romantically?" You lower your eyes and bite your lips again, "maybe...you misunderstood my confession?"

Luffy stares at you without saying a word,and when you grow uncomfortable and start fidgeting,he suddenly lets out a loud laughter. You pout and smack him on the head.

"why are you laughing?!"

"how could i possibly misunderstand your confession when i know i love you so much?"

His words silence you and your lips part slightly. Luffy smiles and combs his fingers through yout hair, "i might be childish and immature,but i promise you that I'm always serious about my feelings for you."

He leans forward and presses his forehead to yours,and when he rubs his nose against your own,you giggle and look at him from underneath your lashes.

"you mean it?"

"with my life... I'm sorry i made you think otherwise." His fingers lock with yours and he kisses your cheek sweetly, "let me show you how serious i am about our love?"

You kiss his nose and nod.

After that night,you know to never doubt Luffy's feelings for you ever again.

Gin is Big Mom’s Son AU who ran away because FUCK BIG MOM (i love her tho)

GinSan fae au where Sanji is taken away by Fae Luffy and Gin Runs to Chase After Him, Gets Lots in Fae Woods (Grand Line), Finds His Own Found Family, and then Reunites With Sanji at the Faery King’s Palace where they then go on their Own Adventure!!

Gin and Sanji at All Blue Together Being Old and MArried Au (this is post canon!)

deity au where the strawhats are all old gods of somesort and gin’s just, praying to one of them for surrvival and Sanji Just Happen’s to be the one who answers, and then keeps answering, and keeps answering and then they fall in love

ATLA au where gin’s just an earth kingdom guy and then this fire nation dude with burning kicks on a floating restaurant comes up to him and forces him to try the tastiest spiciest shit he’s ever eaten

modern au where they are happy no angst so sadness just happiness

Time Skip Au where Sanji ends up with Gin during the timeskip!! idk how that would play out into sanji getting stronger but we will see what happens

okay headcanon time!

gin braids sanji’s hair when they have the downtime. sanji doesnt really get pampered a lot, and Gin likes quiet moments so they just get to sit down and vibe and its so soft. Like in the early morning, Gin putting mini braids into sanji’s hair

gin just brushing sanji’s hair aside to kiss.

sanji bending over gin while he’s sitting and just moving aside his headband to give him a lovely forehead kiss.

Gin talks about Sanji ALL THE TIME when sanji isn’t around. HIs crew is exasperatedly fond about it.

Sanji on the other hand doesn’t talk about Gin all the time but bring him up and Sanji Will Not Stop

sanji blows smoke hearts at Gin to impress him and Gin just sticks a lolly pop in his mouth instead. Sanji’s in love

Luffy’s so tempted to just kidnap gin to be on his crew to make sanji happy but Gin wants to chase his own dream and luffy respects dreams thats it. also Sanji asked him not to!!

Sanji like sto put on a show when he’s making gin food!! He also tries to teach Gin but Gin can only make mac n cheese

Sometimes they sit on deck and talk about their shitty upbringings and people who don’t owe their loyalty. Sanji makes hot chocolate with vodka for them both, and they huddle on deck.

They Party Hard at Parties. Like wolf pack dancing on skypeia but with two dorks in love

Sanji can only pull of suits. Gin can pull off anything but Suits. they coexist.

Gin is actually super strong!! he was starving back at the baratie and able to go toe to toe with Sanji, so I bet in the New World or at least the grand line, they’d be evenly matched for the most part, or at least Gin Has a chance yknow?? Anyway, they spar sometimes!

Gin has Sanjis wanted posters in a chest besde his bed. He’s waiting for sanji to get a good one before putting it on his wall.

Gin is the third crew to be invited to the All Blue when they find it! (first is strawhats, then zeff and the baratie, then gin!!)

They talk at least once a week on the den den and Sanji sends stupidly romantic letters with food once a week when the straw hats aren’t fucking up another kingdom.

Gin joins the straw hat grand fleet!

They dont get married, but they do get matching rings for eachother.

Gin likes to hold Sanji’s hands because its really fcking soft, and Sanji blushes like mad when he does but also just stares lovingly into Gin’s eyes

They say i love you to each other the day after a party and both of them are too hungover to be lovey dovey about it but -

they do love each other

when I started shipping it: for a long time i wasn’t too into bakugou ships (cause he’s a big ol jerk D:) but theN. I FOUND FRANERIDART. QUALITY ART, MAN. SHE COULD CONVINCE ME TO LIKE ANY SHIPPING.

my thoughts: very manly ship yesyesyes

What makes me happy about them: bakugou’s (kinda) kind to oNLY kirishima and iTS FR E AK I NG CUTE. like bakugou definitely treats kirishima different in canon, it’s amazingand i absolutely adore the dynamic where kirishima can tell when bakugou is actually mad or when he’s just being bakugou.

What makes me sad about them: i mean. its never canon and never will be. but im used to that so its whatever

things done in fanfic that annoys me: kirishima doesn’t put up with eVERYTHING bakugou does, he’s not some pushover :(

things I look for in fanfic: yall angst where they both think their crushes are one sided. yes please. also pining.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: (ill pretend this means other ships cause i dont think they’ll end up with anyone lol) im actually pretty alright with kacchako. also tetsutetsu and kirishima have the world’s greatest bromance oh boy

My happily ever after for them: its like. the normal cliche stuff, yknow? they think its one sided, kirishma gets hurt and goes to the hospital, bakugou beats himself up for not asking him out sooner, kirishima wakes up and sees bakugou at his bedside, he realizes that it wasn't one sided, they get together and then yay. in the future theyre partners and adopt kids yay

My unpopular opinion about this character: fun fact, i thought he was really ugly the first time i watched one piece. cause i was like 8 and i didnt even get to the time skip, so my only view of law was when he looked like this. and uhhhh ye he wasn’t too attractive then lmao
