Went on a queuing spree today and it made me feel quite nostalgic, Tolkien and this blog were a big part of my tumblr experience for years. But safe to say nothing has changed when it comes to diversity.

I am no longer creating Tolkien art. Edits take a lot out of me and I’ve posted 100+ creations.

I love creating and I’m still creating for other fandoms. But I don’t see the point in spending hundreds of hours on edits that will get at most 200 notes, despite having cultivated a following for years.

My main reason for not creating is that it's not fun anymore but lack of engagement played a part too.

Aaaah, thank you! That's very sweet of you!!

Now that I think about it, I've never seen a blue Maedhros creation, it's usually red/warm tones. But I love blue for him because I associate him with water, especially personality-wise (calm, composed, resilient , tumultuous etc).
