the bit where people complain that someone has "internalized gender roles" by totally missing the jokes poking fun at gender has already gotten extremely old after seeing it just three times
when someone says chess is homoerotic, barbie is for she/theys, the lego movie is for he/theys, pink is wlw coded, blue is mlm coded, etc they are:
pointing out both how the entire gender experience of queer people is affected by their sexuality (feminine gay women are femme not just ~feminine~ because much of the gender roles of feminine women include attraction to men)
riffing off "queer people are stealing the rainbow so they don't want to shop at target anymore? quick steal financial stability and twizzlers so they give me all their money and have to suffer twizzlerless in a rented apartment"
calling back to "fellas is it gay to [eat yogurt/cry/wash your hands/hug your wife/etc]" and how strict and impossible being a gender conforming straight man is
saying something is gay/homophobic just because you like it/don't like it
remembering how something innocuous like Shego from Kim Possible gave a bunch of queer youth a sexual revelation young for no discernable reason
making a self depreciating joke about how different institutions with a lot of queer history attract queer people to them because of noticing flagging from other queer people (like butch science gay women, effeminate gay men in theatre, nonbinary people in tech, etc)
This stuff was less than 5 years ago, does no one remember this??? Hell I do it every day still (my phone dying is homophobic, guys is it gay to go to bed, "that's gay" when someone does something cool that isn't gay at all, etc)
where the heck did the light and joy and fun with language go

Kim Possible: The Extremely Secret Files-Intro
It was a dark and stormy night. It was also a fierce night, so fierce that not even a monster of a child's worst nightmare would be crazy enough to set out at a night like this. Oh, did I mention there were werewolves? Well, there weren't any, but that's not the point! What's important was something happened that night.
I believe it was precisely 1 AM when Kim Possible's arch-enemies, Dr. Drakken and Shego broke into the space center where Kim's father works. Drakken: "Come on, come on, where is it?" Shego: "OK…what exactly are we looking for?" Drakken: "You'll know when we find it, so just keep quiet!"
He kept searching until he shouted in excitement, which startled Shego. Drakken: "I FOUND IT! I FOUND IT, SHEGO!"
He held up what appeared to be a small device. Shego: "Great…what is it?" Drakken: "This, Shego, is Dr. Possible's secret project: the ISSF, Impossible Space Station of the Future!" Shego: "That thing, a space station? You have got to be kidding me." Drakken: "It may look unimpressive now, but believe me, it's a lot more than it seems. You see, Dr. Possible had been working on this project since he was still in high school. With this space station, I can finally rule the world!"
Shego seemed less than pleased from hearing this. Shego: "I hope you have a brilliant plan to go along with this because every time you come up with another "take over the world" scheme, Possible and her goofy sidekick, what's his name, always barge in, kick our butts and have us thrown in JAIL!" Drakken: "Don't worry, Shego. Things will be different this time. With this space station, Kim Possible will not be able to know where we are."
Shego was puzzled. Shego: "OK, I still have no idea what your "brilliant plan" is." Drakken: "Think about it. Why does Kim Possible always beat us? There's something that causes her to do so and do you know what that is?" Shego: "Well, let's see, not telling her our evil plan didn't work, putting her into "impossible to escape" deathtraps didn't work, either, trying to keep her out of our not-so-secret hideouts have been complete failures." Drakken: "THAT'S IT, SHEGO!" Shego: "OK, what? Are you telling me…that this space station is going to be…our new secret base?" Drakken: "Yes, that's exactly right! In the past, Kim Possible had always managed to defeat us because our previous bases have been too easy for her to find. But with this, we'll be someplace where she won't even be able to find us." Shego: "Oh, no, don't tell me, we're going to be in space, are we?" Drakken: "No, we won't."
Shego brought out of sigh of relief. Drakken: "We're going to be in another galaxy and one that Kim Possible has never even heard of!"
Shego slapped herself on the forehead. Drakken: "What?" Shego: "OK, hello! That's still outer space." Drakken: "Oh, right...well, whatever. The point is that Kim Possible doesn't know about it and we will be THERE! So let's go!" Shego: "What? Now? You mean during this storm? Shouldn't we wait until the storm has passed?" Drakken: "And risk having to leave in the morning when everyone is awake? No way! We leave now! Besides, this space station is weather-proof so it won't be damaged by this storm when we lift off. Come on, Shego, we have what we need."
Drakken walked off. Shego: "(sigh) I don't even know why I stay with you sometimes."
She walked off after him.
Outside, Drakken turned on the small device which instantaneously morphed into a massive space station, stepped in with Shego and blast off. As they leave Earth's atmosphere, Drakken was laughing maniacally. Shego just kept looking out the window, trying to face away from Drakken. Shego: "Seriously, I don't know why I hang around with you."
They spent a long trip flying through space. They eventually stopped in an unknown galaxy. Drakken stopped laughing, surprised when he noticed that the entire space station has stopped. Drakken: "Wow, that was fast."
Shego pulled down her glove and checked on her watch that she's been wearing underneath. Shego: "Hm, it's 3 AM and on the same day. You weren't kidding when you said that this space station is called "Impossible". This thing is beyond extraordinary." Drakken: "But of course, Shego. But where are we?"
Shego checked on a nearby monitor. Shego: "Hm…well, from what I can tell on this monitor, we're in some sort of galaxy called…" Drakken: "I don't care! All that matters is we're in some place that Kim Possible knows nothing about! Come, Shego, we have work to do."
Drakken walked off. Shego: "Hm, alright, Dr. D., you're the mad genius here."
She walked off after him.
Meanwhile, not too far from the space station, there was a space cruiser with 2 other beings on board it. One being was an animal-like humanoid, the other was a robot. Those 2 go by the name Ratchet and Clank. Ratchet, the animal-like humanoid, noticed the space station since the exact moment of its arrival. Clank, the robot, seemed concerned and walked over towards the window that Ratchet was looking out of. Clank: "Ratchet, you seemed troubled. Is there something the matter?" Ratchet: "Clank, that space station arrived over there just recently. It seems to also be a space shuttle of sorts. I…I've never seen anything like it." Clank: "Hm…that does seem peculiar, but not unheard of. May I see for myself?" Ratchet: "Go right ahead."
Clank walked up to the window and looked out of it towards the space station. Clank: "Hm…that most certainly was not there the last time I checked that specific location. What do you suppose this could mean?" Ratchet: "I don't know, but I have a strange feeling that something about this just isn't right."
Meanwhile, back on Earth, it was 8 AM; at least an hour after Kim Possible woke up. She was about to meet with her friend, Ron Stoppable, when her Kimmunicator rang, she answered it immediately. Kim: "Hey, Wade, what's the sitch?" Wade: "Kim, you and Ron need to meet with your dad at the space center immediately. It's urgent." Kim: "We're on it!"
She left to meet with Ron.
A while after she did, she and Ron met with her dad at the space center. Kim: "Hey, dad, Ron and I got here as soon as we could. So, what's the…sitch?"
She then noticed her dad sobbing with his hands covering his face. Kim: "Um, dad, you OK?"
He looked up and noticed Kim right in front of him. Dr. P.: "Oh, Kim, it's terrible, something important was stolen from here."
Kim became serious. Kim: "What was stolen from here, this time?"
Her dad seemed cautious as he looked behind both of his shoulders, then leaned closer towards Kim and held his hand beside his mouth. Dr. P.: "I was hoping not to bring this up too soon, but…the very thing that was stolen was a secret project of mine." Kim: "A secret project?" Dr. P.: "Yes, I called it the ISSF: The Impossible Space Station of the Future. It was supposed to be a space station to defy all space stations. I have been working on that thing since I was your age, Kimmicub." Ron: "Whoa! You've been working on a space station since you were in high school?" Dr. P.: "Nnnnnnnnot so much the actual space station as it was the schematics; blue prints, diagrams, the whole nine yards." Ron: "Wow, that must have been some hobby you had."
Rufus popped his head out of the pocket in Ron's pants that he likes to occupy. Rufus: "Wah-ho! Hobby!" Dr. P.: "Yes, it did start out as just a hobby, then it became a project when I attended college. Soon as I started working here at the space station, I had all the excess materials needed to make that project a reality. But then I met my lovely wife, then had Kim, and then Jim and Tim, which slowed down my progress for years but it was a break that was truly worth it. I have come narrowly close to finishing that project; I just needed to work on taking care of 1 tiny problem." Kim: "And that is…?" Dr. P.: "TV receptor. What's the point of going into space if you don't have any good reception?"
Kim had a displeased look on her face. Dr. P.: "And now it's…gone."
Kim pulled out her Kimmunicator. Kim: "Wade, can you check on the security cameras of this place? They might have caught whomever stole dad's…secret space station project." Wade: "I'm way ahead of you, Kim. What I found is something that you're not going to believe."
Wade then displayed an image from one of the security cameras of Drakken and Shego. Kim: "No way! So it was Drakken and Shego that stole dad's secret project! Don't worry, dad, we'll get it back from them. Now to find where they went with it." Dr. P.: "That shouldn't be a problem, Kimmicub. I've had a tracking device installed into that thing, that was encase I misplaced the darn thing, especially if it was in space." Kim: "Wade?" Wade: "Already tracked it down. The signal seems to be coming from a…what!? A far off galaxy!? Wow! That's one impressive space station, Dr. Possible!" Dr. P.: "Thanks, Wade. Although, I'd have to admit, even I didn't think it would go that far." Kim: "Hm…would that space shuttle you built be able to go that far, too?" Dr. P.: "Well…I wouldn't think it could at first, but if that space station did, then so could my shuttle." Kim: "Let's go."
Kim walked off; Ron went with her, he seemed very excited.

woops...another short chapter. Next is longer, promise.
[Chapter Guide | FFn | Ao3]
33. Aura of Others – 6
Soon enough, the beeping of the alarm clock that didn’t belong to her woke her. Even if she’d wanted to wake up, fighting off sleep when someone hit the blessed snooze button was impossible given the sleep aid still in her system. She groaned wretchedly when the beeping sounded off again, and blearily hoped hearing it wouldn’t become the norm. She didn’t mind the bed or the poofy bedding or anything else – but that clock could go to hell.
Shego pulled herself up onto the mount of pillows and collapsed before she could reach the accursed clock to mangle it. It was Saturday. She didn’t have to wake up at any set time on a Saturday. If Drakken wanted to, that was great. But he wasn’t going to get her up with a mere grouchy order to do so and a shake of her shoulder.
He was given the middle finger in reply – enough to let him know she was aware of his attempt to wake her, and enough to let him know she wasn’t ready to be woken.
The mattress shifted. And shifted again. And – he was bouncing. The imbecile madman was bouncing next to her, like a petulant twerp trying to get her up for the day, bouncing on his knees and disjointedly enunciating her name to make sleep definitely impossible.
“Knock it off, Wes—Will— Drakken!” she snarled and grabbed one of the numerous pillows to strike him with. The force plowed him sideways.
Just as she turned to glare in his direction, the gesture was returned, thwapping her upside the head. Hand snapping out in reflex, she caught the pillow, feeling the fabric rip. It certainly did the trick to wake her.
When the surprise wore off a split-second later, she shot daggers up at Drakken. His eyes flew wide and he released the gutted pillow and threw his hands up as he realized he’d made a grave mistake by hitting her back, even as harmless as it was. He sprang back as she lunged at him. She wasn’t sure what she was going for – his throat to wring his neck? – but she’d underestimated the size of the bed and felt stupid crawling after him instead. She managed to give him a shove though, only to come toppling off the edge of the bed gracelessly with him.
Drakken let out a squeal. She’d heard the shrill sound before, but it was especially startling when his eyes bugged behind his glasses and he curled up with her fingers still dug into his sides, his knee catching her in the stomach. Tangled in the sheets drug with them, she pushed against him in a scrambling effort to break free, but each inadvertent poke and prod drew a strangled laugh or squeak from him.
Perturbed, Shego deliberately reached under an arm before she could convince herself she didn’t want to go there.
Sure enough, he jerked and writhed and sucked in air and swore at her, “Dammit – Shego – stop it! I’ve got a pounding headache.” His smile was more of a grimace as she snuck in another probing tip-tap along his side, and his arms clamped down tight. She could believe the headache part. He may have laughed, but he didn’t look like he found the experience particularly enjoyable. Still, it was hard to believe what she was seeing.
“You can’t seriously be ticklish,” she criticized, kneeling over him.
Drakken gasped for air, still wincing against his hangover. “I’m not,” he practically wined in defense. “Not usually. I-I mean. You’re not?” She didn’t have to answer that. He was only trying to shift the subject away from his unconvincing lie.
Yet she answered anyway. “Nope,” she popped. Just as she sat back, he got a peculiar look in his eye that made it hard to believe he really had a headache after all. Maybe he was a better liar than she thought. “Doc. Doc, don’t – don’t even think about it!”
As he began to sit up, a crooked smile crossed his face and his fingers teased the air in threat. It was a little too creepy for her taste. If she weren’t still under the influence of her suppressant, she would have burned him when she caught him by the wrists, pinning them to his gut and driving the wind out of him as she shoved him back down.
Drakken wheezed as she scowled down at him. His glasses sat crooked on his nose and his hair had dried in a total mess. He wasn’t wearing a shirt. She really wished he was wearing a shirt. He blew a puff in defeat and grumbled, “Fine. But I’d still like to test that theory.”
It wasn’t a theory. It was a fact. And even if it wasn’t a fact – it was still too hazardous to test. Then again, she was medicated. Shego scoffed. “Not by groping me, you aren’t,” she scoffed.
“I wasn’t—!” he began in defense and grunted through grit teeth as he let his head drop to the floor. He winced at the impact and skewed his frown back up at her. She should get up and go – any time now would be good – but she stayed hovered over him, securing his hands safely to his belly. Her eyes cut back up to his as he asked, “Can I guess—?”
“Guess all you want.” She lurched back, releasing him as if he’d burned her. “I’m not— hey!” The instant she let go, before the denial could leave her lips, swift fingers skittered up her sides to her armpits. The fleeting feathery touch caused a bigger reaction than she could have anticipated, and she couldn’t be sure she liked it as she seized and squirmed at the same time. A strangled yelp no more elegant than his ticklish squeals escaped her throat and she wanted nothing more than to kick him for it.
The man sat up with her and chuckled proudly, until she caught the offending hands to squeeze them, her nails digging into the backs. His smirk didn’t yield as she ground out in warning, “You’re playing with fire, Doc.” If only she had the firepower at the moment to prove her point.
“I know.” Drakken’s arrogant shit-eating grin was ultimately too close – but that was perhaps on her, given she was technically in his lap. If it weren’t for rank morning breath, she might not have been so opposed to it.
Shego jerked back and let go as she shifted away, untangling herself once and for all from the bedsheets wound up around them. “Ugh,” she groaned, waving a hand in front of her face. “Were you midnight-snacking on cheese?” she accused.
His smile fell and his face tinged purple – a deeper purple, anyway. “You’re one to talk!” he snapped back, getting to his knees and frowning up at her. “You took the bag for yourself and fell asleep on it.”
“I did?” she blurted, following his gesture toward the bed. Sure enough, a bag of cheddar in the sheets stood testimony, as did the shredded cheese flattened to her shirt... or rather, Drakken’s shirt – the same faded concert tee from the other night – worn over her own. She had no recollection of any midnight cheese indulgences. Her face burned as she wondered what other indulgences she might have had – but she didn’t ask aloud.
Mostly because Drakken was grumbling in addition, “And you snore. Loudly.”
She was already flustered. She didn’t need him rubbing anything else in. “Wow,” she scoffed. “Turn down the charm, will ya?”
“One of us has to make up for the difference.” He smoothed back his disheveled hair and pointed a finger-gun her way. He scratched his neck then and peered around her just as she began to turn away. “Uhm. Don’t go out there.”
“Why not?”
“My mother’s asleep on the couch.”
Shego paused. “Your mother?”
“Yes,” he said and began to explain with an excess of sporadic hand gestures. “You know. The mother who showed up unannounced in the middle of the night last night because I got in a teeny-tiny little argument with her yesterday over the phone, and it turns out my cousin’s wife gave her my address and now she’s here. That mother.”
Shego rubbed her temples. “Oof,” she breathed. She hardly remembered any of it. Certainly no mention of a heated phone call or his cousin’s wife. “She rode a motorcycle here, right?”
“Yes.”
“Rad.”
Drakken clearly didn’t think so, by the shudder he gave. “She may not look it, but she’s a bat out of hell on wheels. She must have been furious if she broke her oath not to ride again, let me tell you.” He cracked a flimsy smile, but it was far from genuine. “I was scared shitless last night.”
Shego crossed her arms and glanced between the door and him again. Her eyes fell on the clock above the bed. It was only a quarter past six in the morning. It had been around midnight when she’d collapsed in his bed. The bedding was a disaster now, but it was still tempting to pull a blanket over herself and dissolve back into it, cheese or no cheese.
Instead, Drakken was passing her, patting her shoulder and lowering his voice to advise she meet him in the garage – without being seen.

Emails Through Family Pt 2.
NOTES: That took a long time to write, my apologies folks! Hope you guys like it, enjoy it guys! :3 @disneyevilprincessblog
Shego was sure that if she heard Athena ask if they were there yet one more time, she would either ducktape her mouth just or melt it shut.
She was driving wearing a green leather jacket, a black on her way to her childhood home. Athena and Eric came along to finally meet, in Eric’s words “Mama’s family”. The young boy wasn’t wrong and it didn’t help her nerves. With a death grip on the steering wheel, she followed the GPS soothing voice tell her to pull up to their destination.
Athena and Erice looked like two gold retrievers, looking out the window excited about anything. Shego, on the other hand still had a death grip on the steering wheel even after parking the car. She looked at her makeup in the rearview mirror. She scrutinized her look, from the green leather jacket, black and white striped blouse with black ripped jeans.  Her hair was safely tucked into a bun, as she grabbed her bag. Putting on her sunglasses, the trio walked up to the driveway. Eric and Athena went up ahead while Shego surveyed her old neighborhood. It looked the same, just the way she left it.
“Sasha Go?” She froze, her head swiveling towards the middle-aged looking woman. Oh no. Ms. Rojas looked at her, the same way she looked at her since she was little. Judgment as harsh as any Latina woman would towards children that she considered in her words, “Hijos or Hijas de Lucifer.”
Once, in a bold retaliating move, Shego shot back with, “If Lucifer’s my dad then that must suck considering your his wife.”
It earned her a month’s allowance and she had to write a full page apology to Ms. Rojas. She still thought the old bat didn’t deserve it, so she never sent it. Just told her parents that it got “lost” in the mail delivery.
“Oh mija, how are you?” She said in a kind but a judgmental voice. She eyed her and then spotted Athena and Eric. “Are these yours?” The way she stated it made it seem that it surprised her that she could have kids. Shego gave her a smile, her teeth showing.
“Si, this is my oldest Athena and my youngest, Eric. Guys this is my old neighbor Ms. Amaya Rojas.” She wondered if she should just knock on the door and chuck the kids inside, leaving the older woman behind. “I would love to chat Senora but my mom is-”
“Ah si. Well, go, see your parents. This was a good surprise to see you and your children.” The old woman said in a snide voice before waving at the children. Shego gave her a smile before roughly dragging Eric and Athena up the steps to her old house.
“Bruja de mierda,” She muttered under her breath as she knocked on the door. Shego could still see Ms. Rojas peeking from her rose garden. Shego was about to call her out when the door unlocked and swung opened.
Facing her was her dad.
Jason Go was a tall man, with dark brown hair and ivory skin. Their mom used to joke that he could be the “male version of Snow White.” His hair now was peppered in silver greys at the temples, with lines across his face. But he still looked the same that last time she saw him. His blue eyes shined when he noticed who it was, a look of utter surprise and pure joy.
“Sasha.”  His face broke out into a grin as he pulled her into a hug. She didn’t respond, a bit in shock over how she was being received to even speak. She buried her face into his shoulder, he still smelled like wood and roses, probably from the candle that her mom liked to have around the house. After while they pulled back and his eyes flickered over to the kids. “These must be my grandkids, eh?” Shego nodded before she introduced them. The older man hugged both kids, Athena grinning like an idiot all the while.
They stepped inside and she swore it was like she was a teenager. The house still looked the same, it even had the same scents! Roses with some Mexican food cooking. By the way, it smelled, she concluded that her mom must be making flautas de carne or taquitos.
“Soledad! Looks who’s home!” Her dad’s boisterous voice announced her presence to the other occupant in the room-the one person that Shego was a bit terrified to see. Her mom. Yep, she was home alright because the fear of her Mexican mother was one thing she definitely forgot before now.
Her mom, Soledad Bracamontes was a pretty tall person. She was a few inches taller than Shego, making her the short person between her family members (too many short jokes and a lot of discussions as to why she shouldn’t punch Henry or Miles when they crack said jokes.) Soledad someone that Shego was terrified to see once again, as her mother’s back was turned on her. Her mother was wearing a long black skirt, a blue shirt and her hair was looses, with greying hair, as Shego could see it.
Jason went to her, and Shego internally braced herself. She braced herself for her mama’s words, yelling at her. God, she could face Kim Possible or cops but when it came to her mother, she was terrified. Then again, Mexican mothers are a terrifying force to be reckoned with as Shego has learned since she was a child.
Soledad turned around, her eyes locking first on. the grandkids then flickered to Shego, staying there.
Shego turned quickly to Athena. “Hey, why don’t you guys go in the backyard. There might some stuff to do there.”
Athena started to protest, “But I wanted to-”
“Right now Athena Lipsky. Take your brother outside and I need to talk to your abuelos. Now.” She said giving Athena her ‘Set You On Fire or Do It’ look. Athena smiled and grabbed Eric, hauling him out of the room and to the backyard.
The door was closed shut, they could hear Eric yell loudly “Look a tree house! Mom never told us about a tree house!”
“So,” Her mom began. Her clipped yet stern accent making her have flashbacks of days Shego snuck back home to get caught. “You finally came back and with grandchildren.”
No yelling or shouting, it was calm with anger simmering underneath. “You came back.” Her voice cracked and Shego felt a lump in her throat, as tears prickled her eyes. “You have a family and left us behind.”
“Mami,” She said. Shego didn’t reach out scared that her hands would burn her mom, considering her powers. She could feel the fire wanting to be released but Shego held on to the control she was taught at a young age since the comet hit her and her siblings that day. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry but I won’t apologize as to why I left. The team-Henry, it wasn’t what I wanted. I had to go. I didn’t mean to hurt you Mami, believe me, but I needed to go.”
It was quiet with the three of them, only interrupted by Eric’s loud voice proclaiming that he was now King of the Treehouse. It tugged a smile onto Shego’s lips, one that her parents spotted. Soldedad’s eyes softened making Shego relax, it would take a while for their relationship to go back to what it once was but maybe, this was a start. Who knew robotic kids could be a blessing to repair a fractured relationship with her parents? Go figure.
“Wesley told us that you and your husband moved Middleton with the kids' couple years ago.” Her dad commented. Shego almost choked on air back peddling her dad’s words of “husband”.
That little-, Shego thought. She was going to fry her brother the next time she saw him.
“Yes,” She said trying to make them believe that she and Drakken were married with two kids. “Well, we decided a change of scenery was well for the kids.”
Yeah, if you call breaking him out of prison a change of scenery, she said inside her head.
“Pues,” her mom began having that look that only Shego could describe as the Don’t-Fight-Me-On-This look. It was the same stubborn look she gave to Shego when she got in trouble mouthing off to Mrs. Rojas. She really did feel like she was a child all over again. “We would want to meet him.”
“Mami no-” She began only to be cut off by her mom.
“Sasha Roberta Go, queremos estar en tu vida otra vez.” Her eyes were pleading with her. It terrified her that her mom wanted to be part of her daughter, the same girl that left them without a trace. She wanted a do-over, one that Shego thought was impossible since that day. “Eso es lo que queremos.”
“Do you really?” It came out with a bite she didn’t mean to direct towards her parents but it slipped out.
Her parents looked taken aback, her dad having that same stubborn look she got whenever she was ready to fight. Her dad took a deep breath before looking into her eyes.
“Is that what you think Sasha?” His voice was quiet but firm at her. Shego’s heart fell into the pit of her stomach as she looked at her dad. She felt like a child about to be lectured by her parents, which in a way, she was. “We’ve never thought that way since the day you left. All we could think was why? Why did you leave us?”
“I’m sorry.” Was all she could offer them.
Apologies in both languages.
After a while, all three of them went quiet trying to figure out what to say next. Her dad let out a chuckle, as both she and her mom looked at him. As he chuckled, Jason pointed to a big picture on the entrance to one of the halls that lead towards Henry and Mile’s old rooms, if Shego remembered correctly.
On it was a picture of herself, when she was around seven years old in a white dress, her hair curled, which looked very stiff along with the uncomfortable looking crown of white flowers that was on her head. She had in each hand a candle and a bible. A smile graced her seven-year-old self’s lips, as the picture was taken, she was frozen in time.
Shego remembered that day. How she complained to her mom about the crown that dug into her scalp along with her hair which was stiff from all the hairspray Soledad put on it.
Jason looked at her smiling. “I remembered that day, how you told your mom if instead of wearing the hairspray you could have it in a high ponytail.”
Shego snorted. “Yeah, because the crown was making my scalp bleed and the hairspray was making my hair feel like it was frozen.”
Soledad rolled her eyes. “I do not remember that at all,” she said which made both father and daughter laugh. Her mom would always do that whenever she was being reminded of the communion fiasco of her twin children. Miles and Shego’s communion went south from her setting her communion dress on fire (or trying to, just to get out of wearing the itchy thing) and then Miles grabbing a fist full of the towering chocolate-vanilla cake, eating it and hiding the evidence bathroom before they left to church hours before the party and only after those things went down, both twins got bored of the party, deciding to go “missing” for a couple hours. They went to hide in another room with their presents and some of the goodie bag candies, eating while opening their presents. Their dad found them passed out, chocolate smeared around their mouths and clothing with opened bags of presents. He had to carry both the twins to the car, with Henry laughing about what the twins did and how much trouble they would be in once they woke up. It was a communion that would be talked about within the Go family, usually to annoy their mom. Now it was brought back to heal, irony if Shego could see that.
“We want those memories again with you Sasha.” Her dad said. Shego still stared at the picture of her seven-year-old self, not knowing about the life she would have now. If she told her past self that, she would get powers years later, along with her siblings fighting crime as a team and later joining forces with a mad scientist as a villain and having two robotic kids. Her past self would have called her a crazy lady to her face.
It was out there, her parents wanted to go back to being a whole family.
“What are you doing here?”
Shego turned around and noticed two figures. Wesley and Miles. The youngest child of the Go family looked back and forth between his older sister and their parents before a smile graced his face. “Te dije.” He said smugly.
As he approached her, Shego lightly punched him in the arm, just like he used to do to her. “Shut up.”
They would have time to talk later, having Wesley gloat in her face. She’ll give him that. Now her attention turned towards Miles, her twin and once, partner in crime.
“Hey”
“Hey”
They looked at one another before Miles scooped her up into her arms, hugging her to death. He was taller than her by couple inches. “Good to see you, Sasha.” His smile couple practically split his face in half. Shego grinned back.
He looked older but still the same, if that made any sense for Shego. It did. Looking at her parents and her siblings, Shego realized that even though they shared blood, they were still somewhat strangers with Shego returning with two kids. It was the self-doubt creeping back as she smashed it. But they still welcomed her, well four out of five so far.
“Good to see y-” He was about to say before looking past her towards Athena and Eric who seemed to have walked inside the house. “Who’s the random kids?”
He turned towards his parents. “Did you adopt them?” He said in Spanish. Soldedad shook her head.
“They're my kids, you idiot.” She said. “Athena, Eric this Miles, your older uncle.”
“Second oldest Hermanita,” Miles said with a smile. Shego rolled her eyes. “By twelve minutes,” She shot back. Miles waved his hand as if trying to wave away her words.
“Your twin, right?” Athena asked Shego. She confirmed it by nodding her head. Miles looked at the kids before turning towards his sister.
Out of all her brothers, Miles was the one she was closest to. While Wesley adored Henry, it was the twins who were the one who seemed to bond. They were twins, after all, they did almost everything together to the point where they got on Henry’s nerves with their antics. Now, they were here, face-to-face.
“What made you want to come back?” He asked her.
“I missed my family.” No truer words could have been spoken out loud from her and they rang true.
“Welcome back.” Were the only words Miles said before asking Athena and Eric, “Ya wanna hear some embarrassing stories about your mom?”
“Yeah!” They both cheered making Shego glare at her twin. Miles merely cackled before going to get one of the many family albums that her mom kept. No doubt she kept them all.
It felt like she was back home and that’s because she was.
“You tired them out.” Was Drakken’s comment when Shego entered the lab with Athena dragging her feet and Eric hoisted over Shego’s shoulder. Athena went to bed saying goodnight of the adults and after Shego tucked Eric in, she went straight to the kitchen to get herself the bottle of chardonnay. When she left the kitchen, glass of wine in hand, she sat down on the couch Drakken occupied. The older man had a mug of coffee, as he looked at his plans for some world takeover. She sat next to him, pulling her legs on top of his lap.
“How’d it go?” He asked, drumming his fingers on her right thigh leg. Shego took a sip before answering. “Well, they want to get to know the kids and they want to meet my husband,” She answered in a sickly sweet voice.
Drakken sputtered into his mug. Shego merely hid her smirk as she greedily took another sip of her wine.
Drakken finally looked at her, flustered and red. It was a good look on his face, Shego had to admit, besides the muscle from the old band shirts he usually wore. She tore her eyes away from the muscles to his face.
“They think I’m your husband?”
“Yep.”
“And you didn’t correct them?” His tone sounded to become smug and she rolled her eyes. “No, I didn’t.”
Drakken merely grinned before shaking his head. “So when are we having your parents over? Or is it the whole family?”
“Four out of the five. One of them is still up in the air on the date.” She said. “Don’t worry, they’ll just want to know about your work, what you do and when we met.”
“So, we’re going to need a cover story basically?” He said. “Yep, but only my two brothers know the truth.”
She had pulled Miles aside and told him everything. It took him a while to stop laughing because “Sasha mothering two robotic children” was just the most hilarious thing ever that he heard. He promised to keep the secret safe which she knew he would.
Drakken still drummed his fingers on her thigh as he thought. “So when did we get married wife?” He gave her a mocking grin, one that was similar to Eric’s whenever he did a clever joke.
“You pick the date hubby.” She said sarcastically. “Maybe I will,” He muttered.
It was ironic considering they slept in the same bed and Eric called them Mama and Dad, neither of them correcting the young boy. They were a family, one that her mother picked up on and Shego could see that no matter how much she tried to deny it.
So, she went on, telling him about the plans and what they would say when the day came to introduce themselves as the Lipsky-Go family and how to make sure Eric didn’t say anything that would scream “evil villains’ to her parents. Maybe a promise of candy and movies? That usually worked with him.
For now, the two adults sat there in comfortable silence, knowing full well neither of their kids wasn’t yelling or trying to get their attention. Just them, plotting.
It was her family, one that drove her crazy. But they were hers, just like her blood family.

Kim Possible: The Extremely Secret Files-Part 2
She then noticed that her dad sobbing with his hands covering his face.
P.: "Nnnnnnnnot so much the actual space station as it was the schematics; blue prints, diagrams, the whole nine yards." Ron:"Wow, that must have been some hobby you had."
Rufus popped his head out of the pocket in Ron's pants that he likes to occupy. Rufus: "Wah-ho! Hobby!" Dr. P.: "Yes, it did start out as just a hobby, then it became a project when I attended college. Soon as I started working, I had all the excess materials needed to make that project a reality.
I've had a tracking device installed into that thing, that was encase I misplaced the darn thing, especially if it was in space." Kim:"Wade?" Wade: "Already tracked it down.
