#asoiafedit #asongoficeandfireedit #valyrianscrolls #valyriansource #tullyedit #housetullyedit #asoiaf #a song of ice and fire #house tully #ghf* #mine* #this is actually the first house i visualised in a fashion sense way back when #i watched claire mccarthy's ophelia in 2020 and saw all the gorgeous flowy gowns and daisy ridley's red wig and just went 'tully!!!' #I know the Riverlands are very rich and populous due to their centralisation but in my mind #they’re also a little behind culturally due to the constant battles and invasions #so the style of their fashion is a little less structured and complex than what you’d find in the westerlands or the vale or the stormlands #and also the cut of the outfits is reminiscent of what you’d find in both the iron islands and the north which echoes the impact #both kingdoms have had on the region #that doesn’t mean they skimp on fabric or aesthetic though!! #there's lots of flowy silks and shiny fabrics that evok running water #women wear their hair either loose or in intricate braids held with metal rings (a holdover from the three centuries of durrandon reign) #also THEE beetle wing lady macbeth dress is here in spirit!!!

✧ Yunjin in Traditional Chinese Clothing ✧

I've wanted to draw her in hanfu 汉服 (traditional Chinese clothing) ever since she came out!! It really fits her soooo much.

She's wearing a Qiyao Ruqun 齐腰襦裙 with a Mamian Qun 马面裙 for the skirt and I also added some extra elements and kept her shoulder shawl thingy from her canon design bc it's really reminiscent of a Yun Jian 云肩 in hanfu which literally means 'cloud shoulder' ^^

The big bow with the pearl in the back is literally kokomi's outfit

This is Watatsumi resistance fashion, and it so neatly encapsulates Chiori's ethos. It's so interesting to me that THIS is her inspiration when she finds her back against the wall. No resources, no allies in the system she's trying to overcome.

But she steps forward and allies with the fatui(lyney and lynette), the traveler, and Navia, just like Kokomi made alliances.

Chiori is Inazuman, but she REALLY doesn't like Inazuma, and it shows here. The tradition and legacy of eternity is stifling to her creativity. Bringing forward the legacy of resistance and blending it with Fontaine's drive for innovation.

Absolutely in love with these designs. Lynette leads the way as the first model to appear, her hat literally glowing as the light of innovation. Lyney is the cutting edge, sharp angles, bold colors, standing out even amid the other Chioriya designs.

Navia is a cresting wave, the height of fashion, something a little more traditional but still a very bold design.

And finally, bringing up the back of the show, Kirara is in a *very* traditional outfit that still has frills and touches to show that Chiori refuses to do anything without putting her own vision on it.

All of this ties into Chiori's speech. Love it.
