When the beginnings of a months long mental breakdown hits you like a ton of bricks at 1am

#every time i go to the psychiatrist and she asks how i am im always like #welp. im better than that one time i couldnt get out of bed for three months a year ago so im probably thriving #but uhh. i think things have been building in the background i guess and only now have i actually inventoried all of them to realize #we are probably like a solid two and a half steps from having a yearly mental breakdown and only getting closer #work sucks ass #i dont think i can mentally student teach #i dont think i can even mentally teach #im so tired and burnt out most of my free time these days #im not looking forward to the suite #i feel like i dont really have friends #thinking about my recital makes me want to throw up #i feel like every professor doesnt really know me or care that i exist #i want the world to just stop for a while so i can take some time and not feel so anxious and angry and on my own and like im drowning #instead of fucking up another school semester having a mental health crisis and subsequently being a further dissappointment to my mother #its been so long since ive wandered aimlessly around durham late at night hoping that the bad thoughts will go away #quarantine vents

2021 re2 and re4 doodles i unearthed, 2020-2021 were the years of art block for me - i drew a lot, but not too many of my drawings felt quite right. anyways... sherry finally got that puppy (big puppy...) and parrot she always wanted! im a big fan of taking a single obscure piece of dialogue/game mechanic/inventory item etc and then drawing it

Also very true,, Phoenix having nonexistent parents and Maya having complicated family issues make it that they are just there for each other's company, paving their way to life and facing whatever obstacles they have on the way.

#yellowjacketsedit #yjedit #akilahmari #lyricsongifs #yellowjacketscentral #ok i WANT TO DISCLAIM. im not 100% sold on pitgirl mari im not 100% sold on anything. the show will tell me when its ready! #that SAID im incapable of giffing unless theres tragedy involved and also i think it would be an interesting trajectory for them #akilahmari work imo because while different they are both very vulnerable in the same way #they want to be seen and cared for and they arent in an environment where thats easy #and like. yeah the you tell me all the time to keep my eyes on the road gif IS the gay scenes #but its also akilah being in tune with people and their emotions. ofc she knows taivan love each other ofc she knows lottienat need a momen #and later ofc she knows lottie and nat need a moment!!! that skill serves her as tension escalates #whereas mari cannot read a room + does not filter herself. and akilah often gets the best of that from her! #but also. akilah shoots her a look when she presses javi about the missing bear meat. but also. mari isnt wrong to be concerned #mari is vulnerable and scared !!!AND!!! heavily concerned about survival. so whereas akilah and mari are both scared to hunt javi #mari is the second to run to grab javis body. akilah follows still horrified. mari is better suited to survive in a lot of ways #but also tends to step on toes!!! but also mari is so loyal and so like. attentive? eager? in a way akilah isnt #so mari says more controversial things but ultimately follows status quo in a way akilah is less inclined to #even in terms of skills mari can cook and akilah can sew but eventually what good is stitching people up when they need to eat. you know. #IDK i think theyre soooo interesting and im rly looking forward to their relationship hopefully developing bc i think theyre cute and fun #but i think their dyn could get sooooo interesting. even in terms of letting mari go. like. many connotations #akilah can giggle when the jokes are still funny and they can find each other in any given space. but does that matter if it cant save them #anyway ive run out of tags to tag the chars for my blog and im being really brave about it btw. #also its 2 am and i wanna post and im being even braver about that (not deleting this tag but its not 2 am my time as i post im drafting<3)

me, whining to my friend over text about how i can't get a single driving instructor to take me on because i am a grown woman who works full time and gets ghosted as soon as i mention that i can only do evenings and weekends bc they'd all rather teach 17-year-olds who want lessons during the day: >:(

also me, walking into the coffee shop and immediately seeing a man who has "x driving school, ask me about driving lessons" plastered all over the back of his jacket: huh

#seems like a sign to me #i did not in fact ask him but i did go on their website and fill in the form. it said “flexible lesson times to suit your schedule.” #so we'll see #worth mentioning i HATE driving. #im gay AND autistic so the odds are stacked against me #i haven't driven a car since 2017 and i'd happily never do so again #in fact for many years i insisted i never WOULD do so again #as with most things im purely doing it for my cat as i live in fear of her needing an emergency vet and me being unable to get her there #im not looking forward to trying again. i failed my test 6 times. it's just embarrassing #i fear if i fail again i'll have to consider taking lessons in an automatic to see if i can pass that way... #imagine the humiliation though :/
