Happy Halloween ! Day 31 is ‘best’ so I drew a couple of my favorite pokemon!! this is the first full inktober i’m surprised, bc my depression hit hard. If youre interested in why i picked out these pokemon check it out under the cut!

#8 Wartortle,

So wartortle got a lot of hate and was overly ignored much like the other mid evolutions of the first starters but I didn’t like the final evolutions because kid me thought they looked unhappy and mean, which, they do, but its not their fault gen 1 sprites are battle ready only! 

anyways, my first game(s) were LoZ OOT, Morrowind, and Pokemon fire red and leaf green (yeah both) and My first run through, my first eer win in pokemon fire red was with charmander-charizard, because i thought i had to pick him he’s the mascot !!! but i played a lot and I tried out every starter and overall I thought squirtle was the cutest and since wartortle had little wings on his ears I thought that wartortle was an angel and I just loved him !! he’s def an all time fave.

#25 Pikachu

When i was little (still) my first ever friend @gallade-boshi (daniel) and not long after, a girl named crystal and I were all in the pika family, Crystal was ‘pichu’ daniel was ‘raichu’ and I was ‘pikachu’! and of course being the main mascot of pokemon you can’t not love pikachu. sure everyone goes through the phase.. like when you ‘hate the color pink’ or you ‘hate miku hatsune’ and maybe you just reject it cause its popular, but its not bad and you’ll realize it eventually ; ) pikachu is so cute. Since i based it off of me and im not a boy or a girl i gave the tail a round edge rather than a heart tip or a square tip uwu

#37 Vulpix

back before the games little-little me pretended to be Vulpix and Nala (lion king cub nala) I ‘evolved’ into ninetails once or twice in the mniddle of ‘dramatic battles’ but its one of my only childhood memories i remember that were good with my parents.

#725 Litten

The newest top, I love cats. I LOVE THEM. and of course i also love starters. if you don’t bond with your starters how are you enjoying the games?? anyways She’s my sweet fire baby, my first start of the game after waiting months for christmas KNOWING it was waiting for me, I got a girl Litten, and I was so thrilled. She quickly gained my heart and of course being a cat that wasn’t hard. Pokemon SM is like getting my childhood back, i can’t explain it.

#778 Mimikyu

When this pokemon was revealed i fell in love. She was beautiful and perfect. When I finally met her in game my lovely totem Mimikyu was a girl and I was determined to ‘catch the totem’ per say so I searched for her. She was ALSO the first thing in the game to beat me, and the first thing in a lot of games to beat me. I don’t remember how she beat me but i know I fought her twice. She’s a sweet and beautiful child and i would probably die for her
