Yay I made portraits of everyone in the vaesen party! Starting with the top left:

Karlotta

After the death of her family at the hands of vaesen, she ran the household farm alone before joining the party. She is one of the physically strongest members of the group and has had a good time of carrying people over her shoulder during sessions. Decided to be Isak and Småsak's new mom. Erich relates to her a lot as one of the only reasonable parent people in the party.

Caius

Erich's son :) His mother was murdered by a vaesen when he was very young, which has left him with a sense of fear for his father. This culminated in him inadvertently killing someone in an effort to protect his father, causing him to turn to the church to seek guidance. Erich is fiercely protective of him and is slowly learning to let Caius take control of his own life.

Otto

Has been in service of the Society (the people who investigate the vaesen) for almost all of his working life and is the only member of the party with a prior relationship to any members of the Society. Quiet, keeps to himself, painfully bad at socializing. Erich doesn't know what to think of him, but he did prevent Erich from killing Caius so that's good

Erich

A doctor and the father of Caius and a secret second son, a half-vaesen child he tried to shelter from the world, even from Caius. In a cruel twist however this came back to bite him; Caius, fresh off the brutal murder of his mother, perceived the half-vaesen as a threat, and killed him to protect his father. Erich, unable to bring himself to tell Caius it was his own half-brother, has kept that secret for himself. This sad wet man can carry so much guilt

Isak

Hunter from a family of hunters. Extremely full of himself and overconfident but he's 19 so that makes sense. Acts as a protector to Småsak and (mostly accidentally) instigates problems for the rest of the party. As a unit they are "the kids" though Isak in particular resents the label. Erich relates to him a bit as a fellow knower of medicine but wishes he wasn't so reckless.

Småsak

The most mysterious member of the party; no one knows why he wears a skull mask or why he ties jingly things to the horns. Appears to be mute, and has been accompanying Isak for a few months prior to joining the party. Has some sort of trauma around guns. Erich is a little unnerved by him but is getting more used to the strange skull child and is more concerned by just how traumatized he seems to be.

Søren

Disgraced soldier who was let go from the service after a mission went horribly wrong, causing the deaths of all of his men. He seems to be cursed by a vaesen. He keeps trying to be a leader-like figure to the party but he's kind of a sad failure man. Erich sympathizes but also wishes that the erratic gun guy would not so wildly swing around his gun
