Daniel is alive! Along with Lily, he is rescued from the Capitol by District 13 (who do not let Max go with on the mission bc they know he'd behave very recklessly if it meant getting Daniel back). The state Daniel is in when he is rescued though... well... I'll have to find some inspiration to write that next part I guess😉

HERES the fun thing about this one. The reason I never posted a third chapter was at the time. I didn't have a holiday to match.

Since we go through Christmas and then New Years, I believe the next logical one was valentines day, but when I started writing it that went into a different direction entirely (it ended up being number four in fact, about Eddie yelling about the evils of valentines day on top of tables. Which later spawned a third WIP, number 21, wherein Eddie's having a speech on top of Steve's Beamer in an ill fated attempt to show the kids Steve is in fact, a Totally Evil Joke Asshole after Steve failed to raise to any other bait Eddie had given him. Spoilers Steve doesn't raise to that bait either lol.)

So I don't have a snippet for this one. I do have a question though for anyone willing to throw a hat into the ring:

Merry Crisis leaves off with Steve telling a pre Vecna Eddie a very sanitized, monster-less version of why flickering lights made him almost takes Eddie’s head off with a frying pan.

Would it be more fun to have the kids individually harass Steve and Eddie about their lackluster dating lives, inadvertently pushing the two together

Do I involve supernatural upside down shit?

A secret third thing lol if someone has an idea I'm very much listening

anything goes! I've mainly been doing 3d models recently for convenience based on what I've been playing, but I've gotten most of the Speed Sim refs I wanted. I'm planning to focus a bit more on the comics in the near future

As for pixelated characters specifically, I'd love to start uploading some. I'm not entirely sure where to start, since I think transparent backgrounds are preferred for that sort of thing? Not sure if there's a way to get those directly or if I'd have to edit screenshots (or just leave the backgrounds in)

Dream log: 1

Been having a lot of... weird dreams lately so, as suggested by Aunt Caitlin I think I'm gonna start logging them:

I was standing on a beautiful beach, with dark ashy sand. The waters were clear and blue and sparkled in the orange glow of the sun.

Suddenly I hear a voice across the water and I see a figure in white floating just a bit above the ocean. I tiptoe for a closer look and suddenly realize- It's my mother. She's come back to tell me something.

I try to wave her down, but she does not move. I decide to move closer but for some reason I can't put my feet into the waves of the water's edge. She shakes her head.

Suddenly she points to her left, I look and see an island in the distance, the words "Ula'Ula" echo in my head. My mother tries to speak but it all comes out in gibberish. I do manage to catch a few words however:

"Po town" "Father" "Alive" "Go"

I think she says a name but I don't catch it, I try to listen again but suddenly the tide by my feet recedes back into the ocean. I look towards the distance and fear strikes me down. A giant wave towers behind my mother and reaches up towards the sky. I try to scream but nothing comes out as it quickly engulfs my mother.

It begins to head toward me, but I am paralyzed and my muscles tense, working against me.

Right before the wave hits me... I wake up.

I'm not sure what to make of it... my father might actually be alive? It couldn't have just been a dream I think.... I think my mother was trying to tell me something.

Does this mean I should go to Alola? I don't even know what he looks like.... Agatha destroyed all photos of him, she told me he was dead. Then again, she wasn't known to be the most honest or trustworthy of people... I don't even know his name.

One question beats in my mind: Who the hell is my dad?!
