I feel like saying "you gotta love yourself before anyone will love you" is dumb and straight up not true but it def helps finding someone who'll learn to love you if you also take the time to learn to love someone

straight up the funniest moment in trigun ‘98 for me is when wolfwood finds vash again after the fifth moon incident and he tells him “there was a man’s name painted in the center of town…” and then they show the monument thing in the town square & all it says is “knives.” and like i Know thats his name I Know That. but its so funny to me. he really says “a man’s name” as if knives is a common name in their world. wolfwood sweetie thats an improper noun to most folks,,

In reality, she’s a part of the gyroscope; she’s just another spinning fragment of an asteroid caught in the orbit of the apocalypse, and while Jonathan appreciates the steadiness of Argyle’s presence next to him, he also still feels flutters when he captures Nancy in a certain light, when she has a certain glint in her eyes that makes his stomach twist with delight.
“You okay?” she asks, head tilted to the side.
“Yeah, brochacho–you good?” Argyle adds. He tilts his head almost identically.
Jonathan wants to scream.
if you read the beautifully tender byler fic Come Away With Me by @starsarefire824 and are interested in some Jonathan/Nancy/Argyle (or Jarncy, as I have been affectionately referring to them) nonsense that was implied in literally one line of dialogue, then boy do i have the fic for you!
ft. pizza vans, purple palm tree delight, and Jonathan realizing he’s a lot more like Mike Wheeler than he ever thought he was!

Flashback is probably my favorite book in the series solely for the abundance of sophitz content. No plot, just endless pining, and really what more could you ask for??
