Sometimes I wish Jimin stop being so secretive on cam and basically a wallflower. I wish he speaks up more and calls out BS immediately, especially during lives like JK/Tae or Joon does or is it because he doesn't get much wierd comments 🤔. When she first dropped the album, I knew this one was going to make my top ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ . The chorus is incredibly catchy, and she wrote a great bridge !!! (y’all know those are hard to come by these days). This is a fresh, playful track perfect for the summer, whether you have a boo to sing about, or not. It’s my favorite from this project, and not even her best ! I’m so glad she’s finally getting the love she deserves :)

I had these lyrics memorized by the third listen. THATS how much I adore this song. My new favorite genre is sad boy hyper-rap 😍. The best part of this process is discovering new voices, and midwxst did not disappoint. The lyrics are relatable enough to scream along in the car, the beat makes you want to dance even against your will, and the bass sounds amazing when you’re trying to drown out your tears. Also, great replay value.

You have no idea how hard it was for me to not put half of this album on the mix 🤧 Lucky MF Daye supplied us with hit after hit on tracks 1 thru 7 (idk why it fell off after that the way it did but that’s beside my point) As far as why this song made it not only on the mix but the top ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ as well is because there’s something about it that scratches an itch i never knew I had. Its almost timeless, I feel like i’ll be able to play this a few years from now and still fawn at his falsetto. His voice is like butter and the song itself is like a beautiful slice of freshly baked sourdough bread. I found myself singing it all week at work. And he showed us a bit of range, which i’m always appreciative of . 10/10 for sure !

There really isn’t much to be said bc it’s NICKI FUCKING MINAJ. I honestly was not expecting to like the song as much as I do, but i love it, and so does my notes app (I was in need of some more IG caption ideas). Coi absolutely chewed the bitch up and spit it out, and I know y’all checked the writing credits !! Her pen was pushed ! The bars are showing out, the beat goes crazy, and you can’t help but make that shit clap by the time you hit the first chorus. This is such a well done collab that shows Coi is more than a meme ! Seriously y’all leave the girl alone. Here’s to hoping that her future projects carry the same type of heat and hunger. She might make a stan out of me one day (or maybe not idk shit but lil booties gotta stick together out here.. Right??!)

⭐️ Bad News / Buddy

This whole album was unskippable perfection. This album is the reason this playlist took so long to wrap up. I can honestly say it’s not the best song on the album (the man has a T-Pain feature, hello!?!!?), but the one I adore the most. I’ve loved everything Buddy has done, even as OverDoz, but I was definitely surprised by how seamless this project sounds. There isn’t a second you aren’t aware that you’re listening to a West Coast artist, especially when he can perfectly string together a story over a beachy pop beat. This is the only song I want playing while i’m riding down PCH in a candy red drop top (is that too specific? Do y’all even know what PCH is? Anyway) Nothing but head banging, steering wheel slapping, Malibu surfer dude realness. The vibe is truly impeccable. It’s like an audible high speed early 90’s car chase. Fun, fresh, but still some real ghetto LA shit. Buddy is, once again, ahead of the curve and I don’t even think his peers are on the same track.

LMFAOOOO MAHITO W TOM RIDDLE VIBES. in canon, the role might fit geto better but as we’re straying from Angst in this au, mahito is a good substitute! but god is junpei part of the gang here? 👀 imagine a side plot w junpei where he’s one of the ones just absolutely taken w mahito’s persona and reader recruits nanami to save junpei from the clutches of Evil Villain Mahito 😂 but it’s nothing too terrible, he’s just a creepy dude w slightly questionable morals chsjsjakajshshs. like, we need reader and (a reluctant) nanami tailing mahito and them having to hide in a narrow, tight space to avoid detection at one point 🙈 (meanwhile, mahito absolutely knows he’s being followed, he just wants to cause chaos 🥴)

YESS I initially thought of Geto being like Tom Riddle but I refuse to make Geto suffer and be miserable (the manga does that plenty🤧). The only angst he’ll endure is disagreeing with Gojo on what’s the best meal at KFC 💀

JUNPEI how could I forget that adorable boy thank you for reminding me!! The question to ponder, however, is what house this Iil dude is in🤔My mind first went to Slytherin (and it would make sense bc he could meet Mahito through that) but I have no solid reason to back up this choice LOL

But I love the idea of Mahito trying to get Junpei question his morals and philosophy. Perhaps as reader and (reluctant) Nanami tail a Mahito trying to talk to Junpei, Mahito suddenly turns around/walks back in reader’s and nanami’s direction (bc like you said he definitely knows when he’s being followed). Reader is panicking, pacing back and forth and wishing there was a nearby closet they could hide in..and boom, the room of requirement comes to the rescue!! Reader immediately shoves Nanami into the room before Mahito and Junpei get any closer. Of course the closet is tight af and Nanami wearily asks, “You couldn’t have asked for more space?” (Reader apologizes, but they sound far from genuine, they’re not a Hufflepuff after all😭)

Reader once voices this opinion during a study session at the library with Nanami (and Gojo invited himself bc when does he not), and Gojo is like, “You just want what they have but you’re too weak to confess to your crush.” Reader, absolutely mortified, uses the severing charm to split the bridge of Gojo’s shades in retaliation. And Nanami knows he shouldn’t out of respect for reader, but he secretly wants to ask them who they like. But before he can ask they’re all kicked out of the library because Gojo can’t stop complaining about his broken sunglasses (use Reparo you dummy)

YESSS as someone who has recently watched Bridgerton and rewatched Pride and Prejudice it’s not a ball dance without the lingering stares😫😫we live for the mutual pining🌲🌲in this household. They are definitely getting a stolen dance, even if only for a few seconds (Nanami wishing he had leaned in further for a kiss before they’re accidentally interrupted by Haibara. Thanks Haibara-the-wingman for the cockblock😭😭)

Ooohh good point about the locations! Honestly I was just gonna leave the schools where they are but rarely (if at all) mention the nationalities of students and the countries the schools are in. Sorting that out sounds kinda messy but if I have the time I might hash it out more!

And because I’m leaning toward Nanami being a Hufflepuff, but I still like the idea of reader and Nanami bonding as prefects, I’m just gonna make both of them Head Boy/Head Girl. Since the Head Boy/Girl are tasked with many important duties I don’t think it’d be a stretch for them to greet the champions from the two other schools and show them Hogwarts. Hence the Beauxbatons champion taking an interest in Nanami and asking him to be her date (rip reader😃)

But yeah I agree Gojo wouldn’t 100% agree with the tournament but we all know he’d love to participate in it. He can probs be the co-champion with Itadori, similar to Cedric + Harry but no one dies LOLL. And then during and after the tournament Gojo fully understands why Nanami treats Yuji/sunshine boy like his freaking son😭😭

YES he really did come in clutch and reader has fallen even harder (if that’s even possible alkdkfkfj). His comments in the margin would be gold too, his voice evident behind each word. He’d def make the ocasional sarcastic remark or an observation about Snape that sends reader into a giggling fit. Shoko tells reader to stop crushing on Nanami studying at 1am or she’ll seriously tell Nanami about reader’s crush. (If Shoko was given a Knut for every time she gave this threat she’d be the richest person on the planet)

At this point I can't even get mad at Rica- she's obviously shitty for cheating on Johnny but she hasn't technically done anything to Y/N that wasn't also Johnny's fault.

It's Y/N's birthday and you two are meant to be romantically involved with each other- not to mention that she's been going through A LOT as of recently and already hates her birthday- and Johnny really paid all of his attention to a different girl...his ex...the girl who cheated on him... Johnny is hot but his hotness doesn't outweigh his stupidity

Also I firmly believe that her friends should have told her that Rica and Johnny used to date right away but maybe that's just me- especially when they clearly know she's not a good person

I'm also kind of getting pissed with Y/N- like you never met this bitch and you just invite her because she seems nice???? I would not invite someone who is basically a stranger to me to my BIRTHDAY party. Also- I'm beginning to feel bad for Jaehyun because Y/N just seems to use him for comfort whenever Johnny fucks up or something. It's definitely not intentionally using him and I understand that by now they're probably considered close friends but I can't help but feel a little bad for Jaehyun knowing where his feelings stand.

Which leads me to my next point- Jaehyun is also pissing me off which is why I'm only feeling a little bad. He's the sweetest and it's cute how much he cares for her- but it's like he's just willingly letting himself be the side guy- BRO JUST TELL HER HOW YOU FEEL AND MAKE JOHNNY REALIZE HE CANT ACT LIKE THIS. I understand he has trauma and I would never invalidate that. I just can't help but feel like he is putting himself in a bad situation :/ -🐼

It’s very clear that Johnny is not over his ex, and his actions at the party proved that. y/n is going to be more closed off from him from now on because he really hurt her. and sure he could blame it on the alcohol but drunk actions are just sober thoughts.

As for y/n’s friends, Haechan, Jungwoo, Winwin, and Doyoung didn’t know who Rica was so they have that excuse. As for the rest of the boys, yeah it was pretty shitty that none of them told her - but when you take into account that they’ve been friends with Johnny a lot longer than y/n it makes a little sense (minus Taeyong here / Jaehyun is not being considered here either). Even though the boys felt shitty about keeping that secret from y/n it was also not their business to tell, and they didn’t want to get in the middle of the two.

Taeyong told y/n why he didn’t tell her, and he feels like one of the shittiest people in the world. He never sees y/n cry the way she did on her birthday and believe me he is beating himself up right now for not being a better friend to her.

As for Jaehyun, he still hasn’t come clean yet about why he never told her about Rica, but a part of it has to do with Jaehyun obviously liking y/n. Jaehyun wants Johnny to fuck up, as bad as it sounds. He knows it’ll hurt y/n and he hates himself for thinking about such a thing but he can’t help it, Jaehyun’s never met a girl before that didn’t treat him as just an object. ( sure y/n does use him as comfort and trust me there will be drama revolving around that but we gotta be patient cause it’s still a little ways down there ) ( also idk if you remember but i posted an extra little “every typo you type” part that showed a deleted tweet from Jaehyun that kinda preludes to his feelings for y/n )

Jaehyun is putting himself in a bad situation, and he knows it. But does he care? Not really. The only time he starts to care about being the side piece is when his therapist slaps him with reality ( this is a little “spoiler” i guess for a couple chapters from now )

NOW, I can’t decide on what path I want to take while addressing Jaehyun’s feelings so I’m going to make you guys decide for me 🤧 ( just know tho that it could either go really good or really bad, there really is no in between )
