a character that i used to love/like, but now do not: Idk 🤔 All the characters I used to like I still do. If anything I've come to like more and more characters.

a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not: Idk if I ever shipped anything in DGM. AllenxLenalee I think is the main ship but I am not super invested (not sure of how likely it is they'll be together even though they're the main guy and girl, we'll see)

favorite episode: Favorite chapter is 199, when Allen helps Kanda escape with Alma, Kanda thanks Allen and smiles at him, and Kanda falls onto Alma hugging him. Yep. Makes me SICK

so I’m the person who recommended d. gray man and like, yeah if you look at the bare framework of it (lol literally the “hero’s journey”) then it’s similar to bleach, but as an also bleach stan they’re so different. Like d. gray man’s religious themes and black and white meets gray is so very different than most shounen stories that I feel like it sets it apart

Obvi, all shounen are gonna have some sort of similarities, they are shounen after all. The people who have those extremely dry, bad takes never bother to look past anything surface level.

On a different note, I’m so happy you’re reading d. gray man, I hope you like it 😭💕 I’m always up for talking about manga, but especially this one because it’s my fav!!!

Ps. I just picked up a new romance manga called the Demon Prince of Momochi house. Gotta love those demon stories hehe

YES seriously…. they’re so different…. granted I’ve only watched a handful of episodes of bleach (put it on hold for hometown cha-cha-cha and jjba lol), but…. dgm is in a whole new realm with only the bare bones of similarity to other series 😭 blows my mind that people hate on it cuz of this reason!! + Omg………. you have ALL my thanks because I am enjoying dgm so much!! the art is fantastic and I adore allen with all my heart (Helpppp I already ordered vol 1 and 2 online bc I enjoy it THAT much) tbh I also feel like this series is perfect for this month bc spooky vibes Lmao
