The sun peeks its head through my blinds, pouring heat over my body and a bright light into my eyes, "I guess it's time to get up" I think to myself. I slowly rise from my bed and make my way to my bathroom. I brush my teeth, comb my hair and steal a long look in the mirror.

"Maaaaaaaaaan, when did I start looking so tired, these bags are huge" I say as I stretch out the skin beneath my eye, turning darker and darker from lack of sleep and constant rubbing. "I really should get to sleep at a better time but I'm always having too much fun dinking around on this thing" I exit my tiny bathroom and pick up my old, beat up guitar and strum the strings. What greets my ears is the most disharmonious sound I've ever heard, I wince. "Yeah, I should probably get you tuned before I try that again." I set the guitar back down and turn to face my mess of an apartment, "Same goes for you, I always wonder how you get so trashed when i'm hardly here." I finish my daily routine off with some half-burnt toast and sit down at my computer. I grab my headphones and put them on, and slowly get sucked into some games and social media. 

Before I even realize it, it's approaching noon and I'm starting to get hungry again. My phone dings. I pick it up off my desk and look at the notification, it's a text from Tanaka, "Hey Makoto-chan ;P, you up to get some food?" 

I hastily replied, "Don't mock me or I'll start calling you Tana-kun again around your girlfriend" 

Another message "Okay okay, jeez man when'd you get to be such a hardass?" 

"When you started calling me Makoto-chan, anyways I'd be down to get some food, I'm assuming you don't mean any food and you really want...." 

"Yeah... I'm craving that ramen place again, you can't blame me though, it's really really good, all the intricate flavors of the broth and the supreme texture of the noodles.........." He goes on for a while about how good the ramen is. At this point, I've learned not to stop him. 

"......I guess what I'm trying to say is, they just put a lot of love in every single bowl!" 

"Yeah yeah, all this hearing you ramble on is making me even more hungry, I'll meet you there in 20 okay?" 

"Sounds good to me Makoto-chan <3" 

"Didn't I just threaten you about calling me that?" 

"Yeah yeah, just don't forget your wallet this time, see ya there >:3", I seriously don't know how Tanaka does it, he doesn't have a job and still lives with his parents yet he manages to always have the money to stuff himself full to the brim with food, and I know he pays for it too! Well whatever, not like I'm complaining, he always reminds me to bring my wallet but he covers me every time we go out. I grab my laptop bag and make my way out of the apartment. 

Oh, and before I forget, my name is Makoto Shigeru, though you already knew the Makoto part. I’m fresh out of college and fresh out of a job haha. I’m 21 with bleach blonde hair and the most mediocre.. I mean the sexiest pair of brown eyes you’ll ever see. No matter what I seem to do I always get struck with bad luck, but eh that’s just a part of life. I’m learning the guitar to keep a promise to my late father. He always saw an artist in me, although I haven't seen it just yet. When his time was near he left me with his prized guitar and asked me to learn it so I could “free myself from my worries with music,” he was an odd one sure, but I knew he only wanted what was best and it’s not like I’m going to reject the wishes of a dying man. Soon after he passed, I picked up the old six-string and started to practice. One thing that irks me is self-centered people who don’t even try to get others. I don’t think I’ll ever see eye to eye with someone like that, even as much as I try to respect and show kindness to everyone. 

Speaking of self-centered people, I think my next door neighbor hates me, he hasn’t made an issue out of it yet, but I can hear him groan every time I start to practice. Though I’ve never seen him, he just strikes me as the type of guy to push his problems onto the world. I know he’s working for some tech company and from the unintentionally audible monologues, I don’t think he’s a huge fan. Maybe I’ll try to give him some advice….. Yeah, maybe I will.

this might be a dumb question but i’m wondering if i filled my hair with a red demi permanent dye and then put brown demi permanent color on top if one color would fade out before the other did or if they would fade out at the same rate lol

I'm imagining a scenario where a Baji fan came to the pet store trying their luck that maybe he's working on the front that specific day. Then they caught sight of the long hair and they get so excited and started to ramble how much they love Baji and the guy turns around and it's Kazutora 😂😂😂

Chifuyu and Baji definitely had a good laugh at that. Of course being the good best friends they are they told the story to the others and it's become a running joke.

Baji even invites Kazutora to model with him jokingly nah he kinda serious he wants him and Chifuyu be models with him even just for pet related stuff hehe

Every single one of his friends, yes every member in toman will have healthy hair. Doesn't matter if they got a head full of hair or a buzz cut they will have healthy hair.

And the reason for that is because he models for a bunch of hair products that he gets a lot of free stuff from them. He appreciates it but yea it can get too much so he gives the extra ones to his squad.

Hecc they don't even worry about hair care products they know Baji's got their back hahaha. In fact it's gotten to the point where they'd rely on him for hair care products 😂

You know how Mikey always wants his hair different? He always consults Baji for it hahaha. Baji makes sure that Mikey doesn't end up with crusty dead hair cause he changes it so much.

From wanting it long like Baji's, to cutting it short like Shinichiro to wanting it to looks like Izana and many more.

Izana almost wanted to beat Baji for encouraging his brother 😂😂😂

Sometimes Baji gets tired of Mikey and just sends him to his trusted hair dresser...WHICH IS AKKUN LET'S GOOOO!!!!

I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT AKKUN AND BAJI WILL GET ALONG JUST BECAUSE OF THIS COMMON INTEREST.

Takemichi might be Akkun's first client, but Baji is definitely his most frequent client. Takemichi probably used this fact back when they were in toman to convince Baji to let them in the gang.

Akkun wants to start a hair care brand and you know Baji will model for it free of charge.

OMG now I'm just thinking how Baji and Akkun's friendship will be like hahaha.

I feel like whenever they have a get together they would have a little roast session with their bad bleached and dyed hair. Takemichi might be the butt of the joke most of the time.

Ok we know Baji has made a name for himself as a model so fans are definitely a thing. So bodyguards must be a thing too for him. Except most of the time unless it's a public or formal event, his bodyguards are his friends haha. Like they know he can handle himself (I mean come on 1 vs 50 that's insane haha) but these are fans and not rough delinquents out for blood.

So we know Baji and Emma are childhood friends right. Watch her be the most efficient bodyguard of his😂. She knows what these fans want and knows exactly how to shut them down. And also she would be low-key judging their taste because in her mind it'll be like 'Baji, really???😒' in the most loving way hahaha. They behave like siblings you cannot change my mind.

Watch Emma's face contort in disgust when rumors about her and Baji start spreading haha. She would use Yuzuha's help to track down the person who wrote that article and gave them a lesson.

A public picture of her and Draken kissing? Hell yeah. And Baji will be promoting Draken's bike shop😂

So you know how Hakkai used to have long hair in high school? Yea he's also the reason Baji has modelling as a side gig. The company said they needed another model and the first person to come to mind was Baji.

They were about to meet up and talk about it but coincidentally said company scouted him the same day hahaha. Can't resist that long flowy luscious dark locks of his haha.

I like to think that Baji learned to care for his hair because of his mom so he definitely spoils her. Not just in hair products but in everything. Being a model gives you extra spending money and why not spend it to your loved ones. Also in his mind it's his way of saying thanks you for caring for him and as an apology for always making her worry.

Once again Model Baji won't leave my mind. My brain can't stop. I'm not really complaining I love all this fluff haha.

Okay prepare for Long Ask I'm gonna tell you hair dye instructions/tips??? I keep my hair dyed at almost all times so I've got some knowlegg

Step 1: you're gonna have to bleach your hair. I've got light brown/borderline blond hair naturally and I needed to bleach to be able to dye my hair. You can do this at home, it's much cheaper than salon, but pay close attention to instructions because it is after all bleach.

1a before you bleach you should do a hair test. Most home bleaches you have to use all at once though, so maybe see if someone else is bleaching and ask to have a little pinch of it? Basically just put it on a tiny bit of hair and see how it reacts after the recommended time. Some people's hair cannot be bleached without breaking, and itll give you a good idea of how long your hair needs to be in the bleach to get pale.

1b your bleached hair will look yellow most likely. This is normal, not something to worry about. I'll say more on it a bit below (sorry for the length of this aha)

2, it's luckily much easier to dye a full head of hair than partial! And if you were to get it done professionally youd notice its usually cheaper too. Thats because it's just easier to dump it all on and do everything. You might miss a spot, esp your first try, but if you have a way to check the back of your head you should be alright.

For this I'd honestly recommend temporary/washout dye, it last for quite a while but gradually fades as you wash it. Once your roots start growing back they will be your natural colour, but that is honestly a good look imo. Temporary dye is also much better for your hair, especially if you bleach it. You can re-dye it once it fades, or not, as you choose. It should last several weeks. Permanent dye iirc doesnt have the fading effect, but your roots will still grow back in, so in my onion temporary is just. Generally better.

Also: if you get your hair permanently dyed, give it a day or two after bleaching before you dye it. If you use temporary dye, you can do it on the same day if you want. Its bc temporary is much easier on your hair in general. You can still wait if you prefer to though.

2a for a test of dye, put a small amount on a little back of skin to make sure you don't react to it. You can also do a stand test like with the bleach where you dye just a small bit to see if you like the end result or not, but it's not really necessary. Just as an extra precaution if you want to.

2b it is super easy to dye at home, and I'd honestly recommend it over getting a salon job. They just tend to be overpriced. It's up to you though of course if you prefer someone else doing it for any reason, I just only have experience doing it at home after I saw salon prices.

2c also, dyes should all come with instructions, and again, you just follow those and you're golden. (Or silver in this case haha sorry) the only thing I'll say is the time to leave it in on temporary dues is usually really short. If you're using temporary dye, at the end of the time it tells you I'd just wash off one small bit of the dye and see if you like the colour yet. If not, use the surrounding dye to cover that spot again and leave it in for longer. Basically the longer you leave it the better the colour will come out.

3. Once you've washed your hair off, you're basically done! Depending on how light your hair could get and what colour dye you went for, you should have a good string colour that'll last quite a while.

Some additional tips:

If you have problems with your hair looking yellowish, most places you can buy shampoo should have some kind of anti-yellowing shampoo which is basically for people who bleach their hair. It makes you hair a little more grey in colour, which might be good for you.

The kind of bleach you use will determine how light your hair can get. They should have a number on the box, some have for example "9 levels of lift" and some have "20 volume" and I dont know if those two things are on the same scale but the higher the number, the stronger the lightening effect. If you go to a salon, you can ask about how strong their bleach is, they should have a good idea of what to use (but remember I dont go to such places so I'm not 100%). For reference my usual bleach is a 9 lift schwarzkopf, and that gets me from light brown to white-blond really well.

If you bleach and/or dye your hair at home, do it in a room with lots of ventilation. The dye is less bad, but for the bleach, absolutely.

The colours of dye that'll show up depends on the darkness of your hair. If you tried to dye it without bleaching, you could basically only go black from there. Maybe dark blue, depending on how dark your hair is now. If you bleach it and it doesnt come out completely blond, it's okay! You might have to go for a darker grey than you originally wanted, though. If you want a light silver-grey you'll probably need to get your hair bleached to completely white-blond level which I really wouldn't recommend for your first try. Better to get a handle on it first and make sure you hair can deal with it.

Your hair if bleached will probably feel a little crusty and not very soft. That's normal. A good conditioner should clear that up pretty quick. If you don't usually use conditioner, just look for something cheap, trust me it's worth it.

Honestly the reason I’m hesitant to do dye myself is just bc I have very little experience with caring for my own hair, I’ve barely learned how to manage a hair dryer, but this definitely makes that option a whole lot less intimidating.
