You know what would be far more interesting than just showing us that Malcolm stabbed his father?
Gather in Claremont as many possible suspects as possible - with Jessica and Malcolm already being in the cell, Gil could be somewhere near, watching out for them; the Carousel killer could be in the building, too; Ainsley could decide to join the family eveing; Eve could be ‘just walking‘ nearbly; the rest of the team a.k.a. Dani and JT could be out in the corridors as a possible backup; if they didn’t catch him in the 11th episode, they could find John lurking somewhere in the basement; Colette Swanson could be there (not in the basement, but in the Claremont, of course), too, for some FBI business; Tevin, after all - i’m not sure what thy’ve done to him after what he’s done... transferred to another prison? transferred to solitary?; and let us not forget Hector and their group therapy doctor who clearly has a dislike for Martin as he always takes the lead in their sessions... The list can go on.
Then, the light suddenly switches off and when it’s turned on again - the deed is done.
And then they could have Malcolm gather everyone in one room and in Agatha-Christie-style tell everyone what actually happened, jumping from one suspect to the other - with each of them having a solid motive and a dark secret - until finally admitting that it was he who stabbed Martin, to outstrip the real killer.

THIS is the finale?!
Seriously?!
The finale should sum up all the storylines, give us all the answers we crave and give us some sense of a closure...
But THIS?!
It leaves us with more questions than we'ev ever had!
To be honest, now we don't know a thing!
Will Gil survive?
What's going to happen to Malcolm? If he doesn’t 'find' Sophie he's going to be charged with Eddie's murder, right? Or they will blame it on Nicholas? Can you even charge a dead man?
And how are they going to work the Ainsley situation out? If Nicholas was shot, they could blame it on suicide, at least... But what Ainsley did is a 100% murder. And a brutal one at that. Besides, she's covered in his blood, as well as half of their living room.
Also, what's about Sophie? Did Martin lie about everything and she didn't know a thing about Nicholas and was just random girl from the street? Or did she know Nicholas, but didn't have the files Martin claimed she did? If she didn't work for Nicholas, than he would know it and, therefore, wouldn't believe Martin's bluff... On the other hand, if she didn't steal any important files Nicholas would know it, I guess? So he shouldn't have believed Martin's bluff either way...
Also, when did Eve leave a message for Malcolm? When she already found her sister? Then why was she talking about 'ending this' on her own? Ending what? I doubt she wanted to go after Nicholas...
And we don't even know what's going to happen to Martin. Sure, he's not going to get killed (for now)... But what's going to happen to him after the fight ends? I mean, will he stay at Rikers? Will he be tranferred back to Claremont? Will he escape (which I doubt but who knows...)?
And, last but not the least,
WHAT HAPPENED TO MR DAVID?!
I know that shows sometimes leave us with a cliffhanger at the end...
But that's not a cliffhanger.
That's destroying every resemblance of stability that was shown to us over the course of the season and leaving us with absolutely no clue not only about what's going to happen but about what happened, too.

Shannon was one of the best things about the 10th episode.
It’s a shame he was killed. He’s made a good team with Malcolm and he’s had a potential... I’d like to see more of him, which, sadly, cannot happen now.
So...
@ProdigalSonWriters, why the hell would you kill him off?!
