This vote felt rigged. 😐 And no, it's not because Chu Yao's not here, just hear me out for a minute:

I think the devs knew Anna was going to win: back when shimmer reverb happened, many people chose her,(and Ikki wasn't out/that popular yet) and people are most likely voting based on kit and how she does in fights, NOT how much they actually like the character. I bet people don't even care about her lore💀

This is reminding me of the Embla vs. Ethan vote back when that was a thing.....the devs can already predict who's more popular with the fandom, they make stuff for them ahead of time, and then they give us the illusion that we have control when we actually don't 💀 How else did she get a 3D trailer and all kinds of shit so soon after the results were announced?

Watch the song they'll make for Anna come out right after voting.....if that doesn't scream rigged, then I don't know what to tell you.

Don't trust the devs. Or any voting event, for that matter. Just another frustration to add to the long list of "Things the Dislyte devs keep fucking up"

Sorry for the vent, but I hate this game's voting-related events. They never feel genuine.

I guess I can’t be that upset about the Paris scene because Matthew probably wanted a lot of footage and choices when it came to editing this love scene and when he looked at what he had and decided that the scene we got and the gentleness of it/them looking into each other’s eyes was better for representing where the characters were at in the story. At that point Alex is having this kind of sex for the first time. It’s unlikely to be an all night sesh in complicated positions

I don't think I'm really upset, per se, and initially, I agreed with you about wanting more footage to pick and choose. I wrote about it here

I'm beyond happy with what we got, it was beautiful, intimate, vulnerable, just an all-around incredible scene, and everyone involved should get a round of applause and maybe GLAAD awards for it

It's just that the people who watched the March screening with the two extra sex positions agree that more sex actually elevated the scene and made it better and more vulnerable? And I genuinely can't imagine what does "more vulnerable" means (I'm not doubting what they say, my mind is just literally unable to process it) So asides from, it's more of Paris, I genuinely want to see it and see if it does make the scene better. For the two released deleted scenes, while I loved them as scenes, I could see and understand why they were cut, and I wonder if I saw the extended Paris love making I could understand why it was cut out too.

I'm working on an Art Fight piece and I just realized that a good handful of other people's characters I enjoy or have been commissioned to draw before have the color turquoise in their designs. I'm not even a fan of turquoise. I find turquoise difficult to work with and look pleasing in my art.

I should be good at this by now, considering I've done a handful of turquoise art, and yet I'm feeling a little anxious about whether or not the end result of this piece is gonna look any good.
