I wanna get this out of the way, I love Lizzie Freeman and Alex Rochon's Improv work on this promo 😭 they were really put in a booth together, were told to say things to promote episode two, and came up with that 😭 Genius.

The environment work is GORGEOUS! I love the look of everything, the world-building, the colors! It looks like a full-fledged movie guys! Absolutely beautiful and WONDEROUS work from the Glitch team-- it's so beautiful for half a year of work??? God damn!!

Haha! As an in-universe creation, Despite his little gags, Caine is genuinely such a good AI to make something so cool!

You'll also notice that Ragatha is taking charge of talking with the princess! That would make sense for such fellow beautiful well-mannered women!

More on them later at the end! :3

Dream sequence theory

Also, we all agree that these ones are all part of a dream right? Pomni is panicked, the strange sort of "slow woozy wobbly" animation exactly like a dream... even the dolly zoom!

Then she is sent to the cellar with a an abstracted arm, but that shouldn't be the case since Caine could easily fix an abstracted arm with a snap of a finger.

And then she wakes up, freaked out!!

Wahaha! Shout out to the Showtime server for pointing this out while we were discussing!

This is either and "end of episode prize" from Caine, or he jumps in mid-episode to hand them a helpful item, ooorr he's telling them that that's their objective for the adventure :3

also!! people have pointed out that Zooble isn't with the carriage with the others! Either this means that Zooble was given a surprise roll in the adventure, or she's off to have a fun solo adventure with Caine! Ohh! How exciting!

Zooble is a favorite character of Goose's, so to learn more about him and why Goose loves them so much would be so exciting!!

Whats up with Jax?

hunched down, writing in the sand, hugging his knees, this topped with Goose's two-word description of the next episode to be "I"m nothing"... Oh Jax is gonna have a MOMENT...

We all know that no one likes the dude and he's going to get worse. I'm unsure if this will make me like the guy, but I'm optimistic!

I'm open to understanding and seeing another side of him that would make me like him! I already quite like how this scene is framed, how lonely he looks, the acting in these few seconds already tells me what kind of guy he is.

...despite one of the gummis being tied up in the corner

If i had to hypothesize, this probably stemmed with Jax acting out, you know, the usual "being a nuisance" to make everyone miserable,

Then It escalates

This gets on Ragatha's nerves, first starting out as a silly "haha cute interaction" between them and it escalates while the episode goes on where Ragatha genuinely gets mad at him and tells him to stay put while they do the work.

Speaking of Ragatha, She seems to be quite fond of the Princess! There is a part of me that wonders if she wants to sort of-- "prove" herself in a way, as a leader or otherwise. Ragatha does give me the "smart yet nice kid in class that everyone copies off of" energy... TwT This poor woman.

I don't know, just the way The Princess bends down and holds her hand, it's sort of sweetly mentorly or motherly in a way. I'm not saying this to infantilize Ragatha, I respect her so much as a mature 30-year-old adult, I say it as a testament to The Princesses' character. Princesses, Queens, and any sort of royalty have been characterized as the sort of "mother/father of all" sort of character type, which is sweet! And would be quite interesting!

I know that people are quick to do the shipping with these two, but I kind of like the idea of Ragatha wanting approval and validation.

Sorry I haven't been commenting on the Apex Polarity chapters, there's been a lot going on recently and hhh,, sorry,,

I'm just gonna go over a few overall things~

Ok, starting with the setting. You've captured the arctic setting SO WELL! I don't understand how you do it but it's all just so easy to visualize when you write it. From the white arctic ice to the small research base and to the dark cold ocean, it's all so well written! I also just love this type of setting. I'm currently a little obsessed with arctic environments and especially arctic research bases. (The Thing has me in a death grip pfpgjdjf) I'm having a very good time hehe~~

You venture into places and explore environments I haven't seen anyone in this fandom write about yet. (maybe I live under a rock and there are more fics that explore settings like this, sorry if I've missed those) What I want to say is I'm so impressed that you can tap into all these different environments and transport us there so effectively! Lovely stuff!!

Michael and Vanessa are holding big secrets, gosh, especially Michael! I want to know what he knows, and what he might be hiding~

I really like those two in this story btw! Y/N needs some good people around to bring them down to reality after their meetings with Eclipse, and so far Michael and Vanessa are doing a great job.

I gotta say, the oatmeal with cinnamon brings so much warmth to my heart. Where I live it's a common food, especially during the winter months. Next time I have some it'll be really hard to not think about this fic. X3

Ok! Now the guy we all are obsessed with! Eclipse!!!

I'm falling so hard for this orca that by this point the impact will be fatal. He's so scary, off-putting and littered with red flags, still I want to cuddle him!? How do you even write a character like that!? How is he turning into a softie!?!?

Every interaction with him gives us something new, it's always so exciting when he shows up! And of course you're taking advantage of all his animal/monster features, one of my favorite things about your writing. You're using his teeth, his claws, his orca body and giving him those animalistic behaviours that just makes him SO FUN TO READ!! He's a creature and I LOVE IT! >:3

So in the recent chapters with the rock, the nap and that little ice block ride, oh my goodness he's sweet! How are you making him sweet while still keeping his forceful behavior!? I'm really wondering if he'll ever stop with the manhandling, will he be transformed at the end of all this, and where will this story even go!! I have my theories, but I feel like they could all be wrong X3

Before I end I'd like to just ask one thing about Eclipse!

How is his relationship with actual orcas? Are they mingling or does he hunt them? Or are the orca families too strong for him and they bully him out of territories and hunting grounds? Or do they just ignore each other?

same anon: yesss i'm really happy you're looking after your wrists!!! i'm also glad to hear that your drive to write/post as often as you do comes from Wanting to, and not like.. feeling the pressure to keep entertaining the audience you (deservedly) have, which i think can affect lots of people in fandom who share their creative work and burn them out. tldr very happy you like writing and sharing, as a fan of your work, but even if you stopped i'd be thankful for what you shared anyway! (same anon again) also: ulnar nerve tension buddies 🤝 !! it's rare that i hear about it bc more people talk about carpal tunnel issues.

i suspected that was the case, hence why i didn't block you right away! but i do appreciate your apology nonetheless!

to clarify, i don't mind people telling me they're excited for an update. in fact, that's super awesome! it makes me feel fired up knowing that people are looking forward to stuff. but yeah, asking "when" or "is it cancelled" is. hm. i can only speak for myself, but i find it frustrating since i'm fairly prolific, so having someone ask "when is this going to be updated" when i'm already writing a lot really sucks! but i'm not the universal arbiter of what pisses all authors off. i have heard some authors who say they are motivated by that kind of ask.

i have done the Write For Your Audience thing in the past, and here's the secret: it sucks!! you can't make everyone happy, and you burn out soooo fast trying to pump out enough stuff to keep up with the demand, and you end up resenting both everything you write and the people for whom you write it. so yeah! don't do that. that's my number one tip to people looking to write.

and yes, i don't have carpal tunnel! wrong side of the wrist hahahha. it's all pinky-side, up and down the forearm when it gets particularly gnarly. sucks some big ass titties, let me tell you.

That was such a wonderfully sweet and wholesome file, and you did a truly phenomenal job with how emotionally evocative your character was, especially with how well you portrayed such earnest yearning and desire in a way that comes across with such sincerity! It's genuinely impressive how you manage to consistently fill your characters and roles with so much depth and humanity, and it always feels so natural. Your attention to the little details is one of the areas where this really shines through, the "maybe I'll edit that part out" was such a delightful addition that really helped to convey the sense of anxiety and concern that underlies the feelings of the character. I know I already talked before in a previous ask about how your ear cleaning file is already among my favorites, but I can't help but mention how that attention to detail played such an integral role in making it such a fantastic file, with how you masterfully blended the character's insecurities, the playful and relaxing use of repetition, and especially humor throughout it. I've listened to it at least 40 times at this point (if not more and I'm not exaggerating at all I swear, I ended up listening to it 3 more times while writing all this lol), and I still can't help but giggle every time at the "Damn, I've put more impure thoughts in" x3 Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into making such wonderful works to comfort, relax, and melt stress (and minds x3) away!!!

Also! Congratulations on getting to 100k subs! That's so exciting and you truly deserve each and every one of them, and so many more!!! You genuinely make what are easily among the best files and songs, like I'll literally stop whatever I'm doing to listen the moment I get the notification that you've uploaded something lol. Tell me what are some things you'd like to see for Hux in the future of DBD. Cosmetic wise, lore wise.

Are there any changes you'd make for him in game, buffs or otherwise :3

Honestly cosmetic wise, I want to see basically anything at this point. Hux is one of the charcaters that unfortunately keeps dealing with the short end of of the stick when it comes to skins. I understand that his design does limit people to making anything for him but come on, he's still worth a try. Sure the cosmetic he got from the fit is nice and the "you are what you kill one" is a pretty great Portal reference, but I'd appreciate more cosmetics that aren't just recolors. (I am excited however because there it was hinted that he might get a cosmetic that's him before Gabriel burnt him!!!)

However, I would like to see something candy related for him. I wanted to design it and enter it in a future DBD Design contest but I'd rather not lose the rights to something that precious to me. I'll make sure to draw it one day however and hope people like it like that Valentine's Deathslinger cosmetic I made years back X3

Lore wise I would really like to see what went on with the production of the Hux-A7 units. Just interested in what the process was there, but it also makes me wonder if anything went wrong with #13(aka Hux himself) considering how he is the only unit the strayed from the rest of the group. It's like there was something off about him and he ventured out elsewhere before being zapped by the alien crystal. It would be nice to see what life was for Hux A7-13 before he became aware.. Like I'm curious to see was he already technically active before the departure date? Was he only ever powered on when they arrived to Dvarka? How long has he lived for? (This is also for...fanfic purposes because of that one specific fic I've been wanting to write involving Gabriel lol please ask me about that because I have been itching to write it along with the next part to the Praetorian fic but need to get the smut out of the way first)

Okay so in game...oh geez let's see:

Something seriously needs to be done about the EMPS. It's insane how easily a survivor alone is able to control Hux's power. Not even add-ons are enough to discourage the use of EMPS. Now imagine all four survivors carrying an EMP each, it's hell. And the fact that you can have the EMP on for 45 seconds is a crazy fact alone; you can get some serious distance in that time period and have disabled so many biopods already because you also have to take into consideration its radius!).

I do think the EMPs should become limited like Wesker's and Nemesis' respective items, or they should at least hold some kind of punishment like what Skull Merchant's drones did(aka receiving a tracker when disabling her drones). Like have some of his add-ons be built in maybe?

Or if not limited at least do something like with Xenomorph's turrets. The EMPS continue printing the second you take one, the turrets at least make you wait after you've taken one. And after 3 have been taken from the same control station you have to wait for that stuff to be remade.

OR at least give him more biopods. Once again, you can take out some many biopods + slipstreams in 45 seconds)

Yes there are add-ons that kind of do that but even then they're sort of useless (the only one I can think of is Live Wires which I like to use but what's the point when everyone is on the opposite side of the map and they've dispersed or finish their gen by the time you got there?)

His add-ons I feel really do need some buffing because the only one Singularity mains really consider using is the Soma Family Photo which makes you faster when in Overclock mode but still reduces your timer for it. And that's ONLY if you succesfully slipstream to a survivor of course(I say this because I still have some trouble with it)

His add-ons really rely on having survivors slipstreamed and that's pretty hard to do when they can constantly remove the temporal slipstream

I don't care if I'm called biased for this but I do not believe Hux needs a nerf of any kind. Slipstreaming is something that takes a good while to learn, I'm still learning how to do it properly myself. I think Overclock mode is a decent reward for a successful slipstream (and it doesn't even last that long???). It just sucks that there's some asshole out there trying really hard to make him the next "chess killer" which hopefully doesn't lead to an unecessary nerf.

There's more I'm sure of it, but this is what I can think of at the moment. I'll add more after I get bullied as Singularity again lololol

Also this is more at gameplay itself rather than Hux's ability and such but they need to lower his chase music's volumeor something. I personally rely a very lot on sounds and I lose survivors often while playing Singularity because of both his music and his mechanical whirring.

And also his hook??? I never really miss attacks when I play as killer but there's something about Hux's blade that makes me miss because I always think I'm much closer than I apparently am.

Hi, I'm still alive here. I thought I'd fill you guys in on some smaller updates.

Burnout has been real y'all. I've been having a hard time jotting down words as of late, and more often than not, I've been finding drawing more enjoyable than writing at this time. I'm slowly getting the urge to write again, and I'm sure stories will resume whenever the inspiration crashes in lol.

Small future plans time!

The rest of Forlorn rewrite has been drafted (save for the bonus chapter at the end, that one is taking a bit). It should be coming out soon, but I can't (or rather shouldn't since I'm bad at predicting stuff xD) say when it will be posted.

Playing With Fire is getting a rewrite from chapter 4 and going forward. While I liked the previous version of that chapter, I'll admit it was too dang rushed and ambitious for something that was largely meant to be a prompt xD The rewrite will be more evenly paced and will have a different ending that I promise is a lot less forced than the previous iteration. It is shaping up to be a longer story.

Now for the long-term stuff. I am considering using alternative methods to share some of my stories in the future. Ideas are still brewing in my head towards what they may be (could be visual or audio related, we'll see). And if and when this happens, I hope you guys would support and enjoy this new direction. I'm a bit excited about what the future may bring, so stay tuned for that x3

injury reserve, drive it like it's stolen (2017)

i can't place where i first heard injury reserve. i remember that i found them through their self-titled album in the summer of 2019. knowing 14 y/o me, my guess is i heard of them through a fantano review. at that point in summer 2019 i was obsessed with clipping. they were the first experimental hip hop group i listened to and their sound blew my mind (shoutout my best friend cam, he showed me clipping. in eighth grade). i wanted to find more music like clipping. so when i first listened to injury reserve (the album) i was stoked. they had something about them that made me an instant fan. i still come back to that album every so often and fall back in love with it.

injury reserve dominated my summer 2019 and followed me into my freshman year of high school. i started delving into their back catalogue that year and loved floss, live from the dentist office, and drive it like it's stolen, though their self-titled remained my favorite. floss and live from the dentist office became staples in my rotation that year.

when i heard about groggs's passing in 2020 my heart was broken. over the past year they had quickly became one of my favorite active groups and to find out that someone as young and full of life as groggs was no longer with us hit me pretty hard. i stopped listening to their music until late 2020 because it just became too sad.

when they announced by the time i get to phoenix i didn't know how to feel. part of me was so happy to hear new music from a group who's entire discography had excited me. another part of me was unsure of if i would even want to hear new music and be reminded of grogg's passing. i listened to "superman that" and realized i wasn't going to be able to make it through this new album. even as i'm writing this, i haven't heard any other songs from it. i don't know if i ever will.

injury reserve has been on my mind a lot recently because i met this guy in college who loves music. his name is anthony. he's a nice dude. knows way more about music than i probably ever will. a week or so ago we had a conversation about injury reserve which took me down this exact memory lane. through that chat i realized that i hadn't heard drive it like it's stolen in forever. i listened to it a couple times when i first got into them in 2019, but i couldn't remember a single song off of it except "see you sweat," which i didn't remember being too fond of.

i listened to the album in full this morning while i was writing an essay. i got sidetracked pretty quickly because this album is incredible. it doesn't compare to my memory of it at all. i think the minimalist production made this album seem bland to me when i was expecting something as explosive as their self-titled when i first heard it. parker's production never fails to catch my ears. i'm listening to "boom (x3)" right now and the piano sample is gorgeous and perfectly juxtaposed to the bombastic drums and verses.

if i had to use one word to describe this album it would be "understated." the choruses are simple and far from eye-catching. more than any of their other albums, drive it like you stole it really just feels like two guys rapping. parker's production is great but it takes a backseat to ritchie's and groggs's verses.

nothing highlights this better than "north pole." this song is a million things. it's really sad. it's mature. it might be my favorite song on the album. it's probably the best beat on the album. ritchie's verse makes me cry. especially the last three lines where he talks about his loved ones who have passed watching over him write and perform his songs.

after "north pole" comes "colors," which also might be my favorite song on the album. now it's groggs's verse that makes me cry. especially when he says that life isn't supposed to be perfect, it's supposed to be lived. jesus man what a loss. i just know that guy had so much more to say.

this album places more focus on lyricism than any other project from injury reserve. i think that's really brave. parts of this album make me feel like i'm at an open mic hearing someone read their poetry to a room of a dozen people. i think part of that feeling can be attributed to its brevity. it's only seven songs at 20 minutes.

i don't think this is a perfect album. "see you sweat" still isn't one of my favorite injury reserve songs. it kinda feels out of place on this record. it's not awful or anything, just kinda feels like a floss leftover.

overall though, i think drive it like it's stolen is incredible. these guys have something to say on this album. i hope that putting so much of their pain into their music was cathartic for them. maybe this is wishful thinking but i found an underlying optimism in this album, like ritchie and groggs knew that their past fuck-ups didn't define them. that pain is temporary. that progress isn't linear and "perfect" is unattainable.

i hope that parker and ritchie are doing well. i know that they started something called "bye storm" recently but i haven't looked into it. i think i might though. rediscovering injury reserve has made me think about a lot. i wasn't in the right headspace to listen to by the time i get to phoenix when they released it. but a lot has changed since then. i'm doing a lot better. i live three hours away from where i grew up. i have a different area code and new friends and hobbies. maybe i should check by the time i get to phoenix out. i'll think about it.

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER(S)?

If we're talking canon x canon ships, I have a few, but not for all my muses, also because some of them are OCs. To mention some: Adrien/Cat Noir & Marinette/Ladybug, Mabel & Pacifica, Blitzo & Stolas, Millie & Moxxie.

For what concerns ships that I've developed through RPs, that list is much longer and I've built quiet a few of very meaningful dynamics that I love and cherish, just as a I love and cherish the RP partners I write them with:

@advnterccs / @thcpresidcnt / @mcltiples: Rin is that RP partner with whom I have a lot of ships (some on Tumblr, a lot others on Discord) and I love each one to bits (yes, I consider them all OTPs of mine). I suppose that our main ship here on the hellsite are the Ricks (who are self proclaimed soulmates and act obnoxiously about it, followed closely by Evl Rick & Weird Rick (whose relationship is messed up, twisted, unhealthy, unbalance and yet perfect for them), but they are hardly the only ones. We also have our Mortys (who are too cute to be legal omg), whatever it is that there is between our Evil Mortys (that's another twisted interesting relationship right there x3), her Evil Rick with one of my OCs (AR) who have this very playful fling (until it's not), and we've been plotting a dynamic between two of our OCs (Mercenary Rick & Vampire Rick)...another weird one xD The funniest thing is that none of these ships developed as we were expecting and I'm really glad for it because they are even better like this! We also have not fully established ship ideas, for example Rick & Verosika being fuck buddies, or we're still deciding what to do with Adrien & Marinette. And of course, just as important, we have a good list of platonic ships! To mention a couple, our Summers are BFF and her Evil Rick is the best friend of one of my OCs (SR). Also there's that real freaking odd thing between my Evil Rick and hers, which I wouldn't know what to call.

@imprvdente / @hvbris: Chloé is one of my oldest RP and shipping partners and there hasn't been one time when we haven't come up with some, at times unexpected ships x3 We ended up with her demon OC Salomé and Bill being engaged in an arranged marriage, which was the last kind of plot I had expected to write for Bill xD But they are amazing and I love them! In her human verse, Salomé is also my Summer's girlfriend. Then we have her main OC Fish (in her main verse) being Rick's fuck buddy and ex-wife (yep, sonone ended up getting drunk married and it was hilarious), while in her teen verse she's Morty's classmate, close friend and secret crush x3 We some great platonic ships too, like the GIdeon twins & the Pines twins, or the Gideon twins & Bill (not a friendly bond as you can imagine xD). In the verse where FIsh has a thing with Rick, she's also Summer's mentor figure and she's friends with Morty. And there's more to come!

@dynamoprotocol: Where can I start to describe the pit of endless ask and past bliss that Rick and Clarissa are? It started off years before the series are a passionate but unhealthy romance that ended in a disastrous break-up, and is currently a bitter, painful relationship made of constant fighting and playing the guilt game. Locke and I have discussed possible plots that could lead them to reconcile (not necessarily getting back together) and I'm really looking forward to explore those! Just as I'm really excited about Clarissa's transition arc and Rick and Chance's rebuilt, healthier relationship. Not to mention that Clarissa / Chance exists in a variant of my and Rin's shared verse and she's dating her Rick x3 But our endgame is a poly relationship with the three of them! Also Clarissa is starting to befriend Morty and Summer too, and Chance's relationship with Morty is just beautiful.

@technodromes: Let me start saying that the developing ships I have with Saby were born kinda by chance, because she sent a meme in which I mentioned that Rick would fuck everyone of the Technodrome crew (aside from the manchildren ofc) and all of a sudden Rick was flirting / teasing / messing with all three her blorbs (Krang, Subprime, Bishop). For now, nothing is really officially established, but it's pretty obvious that they are (sometimes reluctant) friends who are attracted to each other...in some way xD In any case, all those relationships are hilarious, but I'm also waiting for the parts were they will not be -insert evil laughter- Also BIG shootout for Morty and Bishop's friendship because it's one of the most wholesome platonic ships I have on this blog! Also, I'm curious to see what will happen between Summer and Subprime xD

@moonspower: Virote & Rick are another very fun pair. Looking at them, you would expect them to get along because they are extremely different, and they do butt heads a lot. However, they also relish said differences, because they allow each other to experience a completely different lifestyle and view of the world. Not to mention that, under their personas, they are both flawed, traumatised individuals who struggle a lot with everything they have gone through. Rick at times resents how much more put together than him Vi looks and Vi is a little envious or Rick's apparent freedom, but the truth is that they are more similar than they realise. By now Virote is a family friend, and he has a good amical bond with Morty and Summer too.

@misstantabismuses: Jinx and Summer started as a crack ship, but it turned out that they work really well together, so Miss T and I decided to let them live their mutual (still unconfessed) crush on each other x3 Summer provides a somehow healthier, stabler point of view for Jinx, while Jinx pushes Summer to believe more in herself and not to fear her wilder side. I think that they make a really good pair. And speaking of being good for each other, Morty and Jinx are each other trauma support group. Their experiences are very different, but at the same time they can understand and relate to each other. They feel appreciated and accepted for what they are and I love how they have come to always have each other's back. It's a beautiful friendship / kinship right there.

There are a few others relationships I'm enjoying, but they are still at the early stages, so I still need to get a proper vibe out of them. But I'm looking forward to see where they will go too!

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

Honestly, most of my muses don't really consider age as a factor that can stop them from being attracted to someone else and, personally, I don't have an issues with large age gaps. As long as it makes sense for the character and as long as it's mutual and consensual, then age isn't really a deal breaker for me.

Of course, if it is for my ship partner, I do respect their boundaries and let them choose what gap is too large for their comfort. I just roll along with it.

The biggest, clearest example is the ships I have with my Ricks (also because they get engaged with aliens, non-organic beings, etc, so age becomes an extremely relative concept)...C-137 especially, since he's the muse who has more relationships than anyone else on this blog.

As I mentioned, among his main ships there are Clarissa [@dynamoprotocol] who is roughly 30 years younger than him, Virote [@moonspower] who is almost 40 years younger than him, Fish [@imprvdente] who is immortal and has been around for more or less 400 years. And then you have Saby's blorbs [@technodromes] who are like...5000 years old? And same goes (to quote a more recent sexual relationship he has acquired) with Petal [@petalsxfallen] who is even older than the Utrom trio.

So yeah, I think this proves that no age gap is too large for me, as long as what I said before about consent (for both muns and muses) is respected.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

This kind of depends. I always tag threads that can't be considered PG-13 as "suggestive tw", to allow people who don't want to see the slightest hint of steam to curate their content. So, like, even just a make out session that isn't going to turn into an intercourse but that's written with some details, that gets tagged as "suggestive tw".

As for when "suggestive tw" turns into "nsft tw", I usually draw the line at when certain words start being used (mostly words to explicitly describe genitals) and when clothes start to come off in a sexy way (if that makes sense xD). At that point, not only the threads is labelled as "nsft tw", but it also gets shoved under "Read more". Or moved to Discord, if my writing partner prefers not writing this sort of content on Tumblr.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Yes, in the sense that I ship with chemistry. I have to feel a good connection both between the muses and between me and the other mun, otherwise it's really hard for me to get involved and attached to a ship. That considered, some basic but more or less regular OOC communication is strongly prefer, because it allows to keep the interest alive and the dynamic evolving. There's nothing worse than a relationship grown stale and static, if you ask me, because it gets boring very, very fast.

That said, some of my muses are pretty easy to engage in casual, strictly sexual relationships (even if, in that case too, there has to be sexual chemistry between them and the other muse), and I'm always happy to play long with that. Rick, AR, Stan and Blitzo are absolutely open to have fuck buddies and friends with benefits, not to mention short flings and one-night stands. On the non-sexual side, Morty and Mabel crush on people very easily, but on the other hand said feelings are usually also very superficial.

However, when it comes to actual, stable ships that involve feelings, then I tend to be selective because I need the chemistry and the communication I've mentioned before.

It's also worth to mention that some of my muses are almost unshippable, so building a ship with them is hard and requires a lot of discussing / plotting / commitment. I headcanon both Evil Morty and Jinx as ace and greyromantic, which means that they won't be attracted to others' looks and it takes a strong connection with the person for them to develop feelings for someone (and even when it happens, these feelings are going to be twisted and unhealthy and definitely not the sort of love normal people would feel, due to their traumatic pasts and upbringings). The only other muse (who's not my Evil Rick), my Evil Morty has connected so far is his timeline split counterpart [@thcpresidcnt] and it's very hard to tell what that relationship is about. Then there's Bill, whom not only I headcanon as aro-ace, but who is a dream entity with no real interest or understand for sex and romance. I'd say that he is unshippable if it wasn't for the "business marriage" turned into real partnership I'm building with him and @hvbris's Salomé. He eventually becomes pretty fond of her, but it's an attachment purely based on respect and intrigue, so nothing to do with love or sexual attraction.

All the other muses are more or less approachable, but the rule about chemistry still applies to them all, no exceptions.

WHO ARE OTHER CHARACTERS YOU SHIP YOUR CHARACTER WITH?

I tend to be a picky shipper even outside RPing, so I tend to have few pairings for each media to which I'm extremely attached. Aside from the pairings that I've already mentioned in the answer to the first question, there's very few other ships I like / don't mind, even if they aren't ships I spend time and efforts on.

To make a little list:

I want Morty to get a boyfriend / show interest in a male-identifying individual at some point, because no one in that family is straight and it's very obvious, but he's the only one who still hasn't shown open attraction to anyone who's not female.

I'd also love for Summer to have a not-guy love interest, because she deserves someone who can treat her well and who can keep up with her. I've seen around some art of her and Jessica and I think that they are pretty good together and could make sense as a pairing.

In my own personal canon (which I usually don't apply to RPs unless previously discussed with my writing partner), AR and Rick have known each other for a while, do business together and are also fuck buddies (no romance involved, even if AR probably has a mug that says "C-137's #1 fan" xD), so I guess that counts as a ship I like...?

I sort of like the idea of Blizo & Verosika going through a "bitter exes to having hate sex to friends with benefits" kind of arc. They hurt each other badly, but it's also obvious that they still care for each other. I don't think they could function as a healthy couple, but with some (a lot of) work they could definitely become good friends.

Millie & Verosika could make an interesting pair too. I have a soft spot for badass queens couples, sue me xD

There's probably more that I can't think of right now and I'm always open to suggestions, so don't hesitate to come to me with ideas!

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?

Tendentially yes. As I said, I need chemistry between both the muses and the muns to get involved in a ship, which means that I require at least some basic communication, or I end up losing interest very quickly.

This doesn't mean that it can't happen that our muses can't grow attracted to each other through interactions, even if the ship hasn't been discussed yet. Tbh, some of the most interesting pairings I ended up writing have built themselves on their own xD However, to "seal the deal", I do require that the other mun comes to talk to me about the ship...or that I go and talk to them about it. I'm more than willing to do the first step in that sense if the chemistry between the characters is good and I can see them working well!

This goes for requited feelings. If you want your muse to crush on / be attracted to mine, you can totally go for it, no need to come and ask me about it! Unless you want to. Unrequited crushes can be really fun to play out and so is making laughing at our muses x3

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?

I love shipping and I make no secret of it. If I feel that two characters have chemistry and I like them together, then I do pursue the pairing. However, I wouldn't say that I'm strictly ship obsessed.

When I read / write fanfictions, I tend to focus on shippy ones, even if the ship isn't always the focus of the plot. I like having it in the story, but I'm also more attracted by stories that also explore other things or that have a more general context. And that's what I try to give when I write a long fic (for one-shots it's different, mostly because there's not enough space to explore too many themes).

With roleplay, it's more or less the same, with the exception that, more than being "ships driven", I tend to be dynamics drive, and that includes also non-romantic relationships. I like to build relationships, of every kind and sort, and to watch mine and my partner's muses walk along the road that takes them into becoming a stable part of each other's life.

It's honestly one of my favourite parts when it comes to RPing, and that's why, whenever the other person is open to it, I create a whole verse for us, so we can keep developing our muses' shared story through multiple interactions.

So, I'm a ships lover, but I also believe that there's a lot more than shipping when it comes to writing and roleplaying.

Summary: Joe is just stressed, dude. Luckily, Dave's there to cheer him up.

No pairing, but Dave is really fucking gay for Joe X3.

Swearing, mentions of NSFW (obvi), nothing smutty happens tho

Short fic- 1007 word count

Joe felt like his head was spinning, he wasn't sure whether it was anger or nervousness. Most of his scenes had never been like this before. "Mr. Orbison, I can't do this!" Joe said as he looked up from his script. "Sure you can, Hung," Orbison waved a dismissal hand as he continued to write notes at his desk. "No I mean," Joe cleared his throat and stood from the chair opposite the sleazy man, "I won't do this! This is blasphemous!" Joe felt his hands shake as he gripped the pages. Joe couldn't even believe that Mr. Orbison would make him do something that would portray any biblical event in such an obscene way made his face hot with anger. Orbison looked up from his notebook with a quirk to his brow that made Joe swallow down his fear, "Oh really? You won't?" He gave a loud laugh before slamming his fist against the heavy wood desk, "You're under contract, boy! It's one scene and I own you until it's done!"

Joe's hands were bound to a bed as his new nemesis, a demon of sorts poorly acted his lines. He silently prayed to himself and hoped that they wouldn't have to do more than one take but he knew that wasn't going to happen.

He had been in this position for some time but had completely zoned out of the situation until he was actually doing something, but that something made his cheeks redden as Saffi touched his, his-

"Stunt cock!"

Dave yelled as they cut and startled Joe. Dave took a picture of Saffi who was not completely exposed on top of Joe as she untied him, Joe could see the technician looking down at his nether regions, a look that he didn't quite understand, most everything painfully in sight by the tight pink suit he was wearing. Saffi patted Joe's leg and smiled up at him, "Good work today, Joe."

Joe let out a choked noise that had shame rip through him. He quickly stood up and ran to his dressing room, nearly knocking over a light that was on the set.

He needed to calm his nerves- he needed to pray. Just the thought of prayer was relaxing. He kept asking why he kept doing this to himself, but he knew why: Lisa. Every time he called her she was so excited for him and, well, he loved hearing her so happy for him. At the same time, she had no clue what he was doing. He felt that feeling he had the day before, the churn and heat suddenly rising in him. He leaned against the wall of his dressing room as he searched for his book in the pocket of the jacket he had been wearing before changing into his costume "Oh heavenly father, what should I do?" His voice waivered as he felt his eyes well with tears.

The curtain of the dressing room opened suddenly, "Hey, Orgazmo!" Dave smiled wide and held Joe's small book in his hand, "I found your, uh," Dave examined the book and furrowed a brow as he continued, "Your bible, man!"

Joe blinked and tried to shoo all those pesky negative feelings away. He turned a smile on and grabbed the book, "Thank you, Dave."

Dave pursed his lips and gave a short nod, "Sure, sure, no problem!"

Dave stood there for a moment and studied Joe again, "You doing okay, Orgazmo" He said quietly and raised a curious brow, "If you gotta talk, I got your back, man."

Joe straightened his back and stood form the wall, "Oh no, I'm okay really, but thank you!" The doubtful look Dave gave was a little eery. The mood had shifted between the two, they both knew Joe was obviously lying…

He looked down at himself, the ridiculous pink costume still on. He was lying. He was committing sin after sin. He let out a frustrated sigh, "I'm just committing an act of sin just being here…" Dave stepped in further and closed the curtain. Joe explained why he was here, he let all of his emotions out; every feeling of doubt, guilt, and frustration oozing out in every word. And Dave listened. In earnest too, something that came as a shock to Joe, Dave was not quiet. Quite the opposite, he always interrupted scenes with an outburst of energy, but now he just stood quietly and watched Joe with soft eyes and pursed lips.

After everything he had to say was said, Dave let out a soft "Woah." He fidgeted with his camera before taking it off from around his neck, "That's pretty deep, dude." Joe let his finger slide against the pages of the holy book. It's pages made him feel safe to tell these things, like he was being guided. It did feel nice to tell someone everything that he was feeling. It was like a heavy plate lifted off of his chest.

"You know what," Dave put his hand on Joe's shoulder, "You're a pretty sweet dude, Orgazmo, and if you think you're going to hell just for trying to do what's best for you and your girl, well then, man, there's no luck for the rest of us." Dave gave him that enthusiastic wide-eyed stare Joe was used to.

"Hung!" Orbison called through the megaphone from the other room.

Dave patted Joe's shoulder firmly before putting his camera back around his neck and screwing up his lips, "Now take your fine ass out there!" Dave yelled and pushed Joe out of the dressing room. Joe was a bit stunned still from the conversation that just occurred. He walked lighter now, it was actually a helpful realization. Maybe he wasn't a bad Mormon. Maybe the heavenly father chose this path for him. Joe dropped his book on the couch and adjusted his costume as he stepped back onto the set…

Hiiii this might sound like an odd question but…do you have any feather tickle hcs for the Pjsekai boys? I’ve just been craving some cute fluffy tickle content with feathers and I adore your writing so much so do you have an hcs or scenarios that involve feathers? Personally I think that both Toya and Rui would be very feather sensitive, both on their hands and back! I think all four of the boys would be very feather sensitive on their tummies/bellybuttons as well hehe~ What are your thoughts? :D

It should be law at this point that his hands are VERY ticklish. I think his arms would be very feather sensitive all over from his hands, to his elbows, to his shoulders, to his armpits, just one big tickle spot. Just stroking his arm with a feather would get him squeaking and giggling like a kid.

And tickling his armpit will just make him ascend to heaven, this grape just can't even handle the lightest touch there.

He will squirm like there is no tomorrow so make sure to hold him down, it'll make him more flustered knowing he can't get away (but we all know he likes it~)

Tsukasa:

This boy will actually scream if you tickle his ears with a feather, he's too ticklish for this world.

His face will go bright red as he just laughs like a maniac but won't really squirm or try to protect himself 'cause everyone knows that he likes it hehe~

His tummy and bellybutton would also be very feather sensitive, he will kick his legs out like a cute 'lil puppy (being careful as to not accidentally kick whoever is tickling him). Might also try to clutch his tummy as a reflex but doesn't wanna stop the tickler's fun.

Akito:

He might giggle a bit if you tickle his tummy but if you get his bellybutton hoo boy, he will go FERAL. Will kick and squeal with no remorse. Doesn't care if he accidentally kicks you so be careful (he might try to kick Tsukasa and/or Rui on purpose tho XD). He'll only try to control his reactions if it's Toya tickling him 'cause the power of g a y

His face turns into an actual strawberry and his laugh is so high-pitched it'll make the tickler wanna laugh along with him

Toya:

I don't think he would be THAT feather sensitive. Mainly his hands and neck would be sensitive to feathers but at most he'll just softly giggle and smile like a goof hehe x3

Oh and his ears would also be very ticklish to feathers, he gives off very soft but high-pitched giggles it could make anyones heart melt

He also gets easily embarrassed by his soft giggles and might hide his face behind his sleeve, just makes him look even cuter jfjfjgjfjfj💙

I'm the oldest of the band. I'm a bit of a self-proclaimed older sister to the others and I feel super protective of them. When I'm not making music with the band you can usually find me working on my comic or some other artistic pursuit. I'm a chronically exhausted college student. I take a lot of influence from older punk rock and, surprisingly, country and folk music. my favorite bands are My Chemical Romance, Oingo Boingo, They Might Be Giants, The Cure, Talking Heads, Bikini Kill, Shilpa Ray, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Iron Maiden, The Magnetic Fields, The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra, Lemon Demon, Man or Astro-Man, Radiohead (not in a pretentious way, I swear), Will Wood, Creedence Clearwater Revival… oh boy, there’s a lot. I like music! I tend to disappear at unpredictable intervals due to chronic pain/fatigue and parental restrictions, but I always come back. I like writing songs about things I’m passionate about, which is often personal, sometimes political, and every now and then a ballad about freaky-looking deep sea creatures. or weevils. I keep my dad’s old stenobook by my bedside to write lyrics in - he wrote lyrics for the Panama City punk bands he was in in 1990-ish in there, and I figured I could put it to good use again after all these years. he’s cool with it. see you around, and stay safe out there 🪲

I'm sassy, I'm trashy and (if you pay me enough) I'll let you put it in my ass-y. I'm the band's second oldest and the token British person. I use any pronouns, I literally don't care what you call me xx. My music taste is all over the place, having been raised by a metalhead and a former chav during a time where pop punk and emo were more mainstream. I'd say my biggest inspirations in terms of performing are Freddie Mercury and Ronnie James Dio. You'll be able to tell which songs are written by me because they're shit! I'm not much good at writing, but I'm great at partying like I'm Paris Hilton. When I'm not doing band stuff, you can find me shopping, watching/reading/playing anything DC comics related or just sorta... Staring into space.
