My goodness I wrote a whole paragraph and lost it all… so I’m rewriting it again, LOL. I haven’t logged onto tumblr for a pretty considerable amount of time, so I just read your reply to my message a while ago (anon who hates uni here). Your comment is much appreciated, it made me so happy and got my motivation up again, so thank you for that!

I also just read Cataclysm, and I have to comment on it because it’s such a stunning piece. Every paragraph down to each individual word made me feel so much emotion. I’m usually hesitant to read apocalyptic settings in fanfiction, because for some reason they never feel “right” to me, but yours definitely felt “right” (that made no sense but it’s okay hahah). It held all the complicated feelings I think would be associated with such situations, utilized figuratively language perfectly, and had a happy ending (because I definitely couldn’t have handled an angsty ending at 12:55am). Oh, and it reflected Minho really well, at least in my opinion. In the best way possible, I feel like a writer’s mind would be a crazy place to explore. After reading a few of your pieces, I feel like yours would look like a nebula. The description, “star nursery”, works too, in which each of your individual thoughts appear like new stars formed in clouds of dust. Can you tell that I loved your comment about stardust in Cataclysm? Hahah. Sending so much love! I’m a bit sleepy, so please excuse any mistakes in writing (╥﹏╥)

but also oh my gosh, THANK YOUU for giving me feedback on cataclysm she's actually the work i have with the lowest response ajhdsdkfjkjnf. i've been sitting on that fic since last summer when the idea was given to me by a friend, so i was super nervous to put her out into the world.

one of the hardest parts about that fic was world building in a short enough amount of time to keep it as a one shot. and, theoretically, i could've kept writing, especially with the introduction of the commune towards the end but you know. there must be a limit people, we must stay focused.

i actually really enjoyed the challenge of switching my prose and vocabulary to better convey the post-apocalyptic vibe. i'd loooove to do something like that again so please please pleaseee look forward to it.
