Maqtal says that when Imam Hussain (as) reached Abbas (as) on Euphrates, his head was split open because they hit him with buldgeon. One of his eyes had blood settled in it due to head injury however the head injury was also accompanied by an arrow pierced in his left eye which was weighing his head down. His rib was crushed. His chest was bruised with Mashq sown on his chest with the arrow piercing his chest. His spine was broken due to buldgeon attack with spikes.
When Hazrat Abbas (as) fell from the horse… He had no hands to support, he fell face first chest first so the spears and arrows went from chest to back, his head hit the ground first due to weight of the arrow in his left eye… They didn't just attack Abbas (as) the yazidis attacked the reflection of Ali (as) so they broke him into pieces…. Further they feared him so much that whilst beheading him they struck his body with more swords making sure he would rise although he was martyred already….
Maqtal writes that when imam Hussain (as) tried to lift his body to put his head in his lap he was taking last breaths and his body was shattered that when he placed his hand on his back to lift him the body further sank like pieces falling apart …
Ya Abbas (as) Salutations on you!

DOUBTS ABOUT USING HARSH/STRONG WORDS AND CURSING THE ENEMIES OF ALLAH AND THE ENEMIES OF AHLUL BAIT {AS}.
What is the verdict of Islam on using strong language against the enemies?
Among the frequently debated topics is usage of strong language against enemies of Allah and the family of Prophet Muhammad (Ahlul Bait (as)).
Some are of the view that we should show restraint in the matter and avoid abusing and attacking genealogy even of the enemies of Allah and the family of Prophet Muhammad (as). They maintain this goes against the high standards of ethics and etiquette established by Allah, the Prophet (saww) and Ahlul Bait (as) according to the Holy Qur'an and the reliable Sunnah in dealing with the enemies.
Reply
First let us cite specific instances of the Prophet (saww) and his progeny addressing the enemies of Allah to understand their mannerism / Sunnah in this regard.
In the battle of Ahzab, when Amr Ibn Abd Wudd taunts the Muslim forces, the Prophet (saww) addressed his companions:
Who will take on this dog?
Reference: Tafseer al-Qummi (ra) v 2 p 183.
Tafseer al-Safi v 4 p 175.
When Ibn Ziyad threatened to kill Meesam al-Tammar (ra) like no one has ever been killed in Islam, Meesam responds:
My Master (Imam Ali (as)) had informed me that one born of an immoral woman will kill me…
Reference: Al-Ikhtesaas p 76.
When Marwan Ibn Hakam threatens Imam Hussain (as) with dire consequences for avoiding allegiance to Yazid (la), Imam Hussain (as) retorts:
Oh son of the blue-eyed woman (reference to Marwan’s mother and her infamous reputation among Arabs)…
Reference: Al-Irshad v 2 p 33
Sharh Nahj al-Balaghah v 20 p 116
On receiving Yazid’s (la) demand for allegiance,
Imam Hussain (as) says:
The illegitimate (son) of the illegitimate (father) has demanded that I choose between faith and degradation, far from us is degradation…
Reference: Tuhuf al-Uqool p 241
Al-Luhoof p 97.
The infallibles (as) act in harmony with the Qur'an.
By consensus it is established that the Holy Prophet (saww) and his infallible progeny are paragons of ethics, who never acted against divine command even for a moment.
So when they behave in this manner with the enemies, then it is definitely in line with the path / Sunnah of Allah.
Scholars have pointed this out, as we see in the explanation of the researcher of Maqtal Al-Hussain (as) who writes:
Although the Islamic Shariah admonishes us from calling others with nicknames (Surah Hujurat (49:11)) and from attacking their genealogy, the Imams (as) who were the Proofs of Allah (Hojjaj Allah) over creation knew all complex matters and never went beyond what is divinely decreed.
Since we are so far away from their time, we are bound to surrender to the judgment of the infallible Imams (as) with regard to anything they did or said particularly when it is in agreement with the Holy Quran, the source of all religious decrees (Ahkam).
The taunting applied by the Imams (as) is like the taunting of Allah, the Almighty with regard to Walid ibn Mughairah al-Makhzumi (father of Khalid Ibn Walid) who is described in the Holy Quran:
عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ
Ignoble, besides all that, base-born (Surah Qalam (68): 13)
Linguistically, زَنِيمٍ is one who is born outside wedlock, that is, illegitimately. According to the rules of genealogy, he is one whose lineage is claimed by someone else.
In Kanz al-Ummal (v 1 p 156) of Muttaqi al-Hindi, the Prophet (saww) is quoted as saying:
The عُتُلٍّ زَنِيمٍ is one who is a lowly-born degenerate.
Alusi in his Tafseer – Ruh al-Maani v 29 p 28 records:
Walid’s father – Mughairah, claimed him eighteen years after his birth.
So, if the Holy Qur'an, the fountainhead of moral excellence and mysteries charges someone and calls him with such a bad name, and it is the Book that is recited day and night, we should not be surprised to see Imam Hussain (as) – the son of the Prophet (saww) charging Marwan with the dishonorable title of ‘son of blue-eyed woman’.
Maqtal al-Husain (as) by Abdul Razzaq al-Muqarram under chapter of Yazid Ibn Mu'awiah (la).
Also worth considering is that when a fact is so well-known and documented among the people of the time that it is a testimony to one’s character and is joined with his name, then it can hardly be considered as a nickname or abuse.
Marwan’s immoral character and genealogy was not a secret. It was so common that not just Marwan even his progeny – Bani Marwan were addressed as sons of the blue-eyed woman and fruits of the ‘accursed tree’.
Ibn Athir records: People used to taunt the descendants of Abdul Malik Ibn Marwan as sons of the ‘blue-eyed woman’ (immoral woman).
Al-Kamil v 4 p 75
Marwan Ibn Muhammad Ibn Ashath used to say: The children of Marwan (Bani Marwan) were always taunted as descendants of the blue-eyed woman.
Tarikh al-Tabari v 8 p 16
Entire chapter devoted to abusing enemies
Our scholars have devoted entire chapters to the subject of cursing and abusing enemies. For instance renowned scholar Shaikh Hurr al-Amili (r.a.) has introduced a chapter (39) in volume 16 of Wasail al-Shia with the title:
بَابُ وُجُوبِ الْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبِدَعِ وَ سَبِّهِمْ وَ تَحْذِيرِ النَّاسِ مِنْهُمْ وَ تَرْكِ تَعْظِيمِهِمْ مَعَ عَدَمِ الْخَوْف‏
‘Chapter of Obligation of Cursing the People of Innovation and Abusing them and Cautioning the People against them and Discrediting them fearlessly’
With the backing of the Holy Quran, Sunnah of the Prophet (saww) and his infallible progeny (as) and research of our scholars on the subject, abusing the enemies of Allah is hardly cause for confusion and controversy.

The Two Severed Arms
Tumblr media
To the arms that held water, Only momentarily until they rejected it's coolness And slapped Euphrates for it's unworthiness When the parched lips of Sakina (sa) Still lamented "Al Atash" While the Euphrates flows!
To the arms that held, The water bag close to the chest, To safeguard the hopes of the children of Hussain (as) And to alleviate their longing and pain To bring water in bowls held in their tiny hands The hands, mighty enough to bring down the rains!
To the arms that lay severed On the plain of Karbala and picked one by one By the one who held those arms for thirty two years, He who broke and said, "Abbas! Where are you my dear?" The two arms that if had not been severed There wouldn't be Shaam and Sakina (sa) in tears…

The sun of Ashoora is yet to rise
The sun of Ashoora is yet to rise On the day of blood bath Therefore the sun is reluctant To rise and unfold such a dawn Which ends in yazidi pawns Raising the head most beloved to the Universe On the tip of the spear!
Thus from the embrace of the dark sky Beneath which the holy chest still breathes And whispers supplications from parched lips And a cradle that's still warm holding the baby And the baby's tiny hands raised up in the air As if reaching out to unlock the gates of heaven The sun remains shy to unravel a deadly dawn By the end of which Hussain (as) would be gone…

"O dear Kafeel! Where are you? O dear Flag bearer! Where are you?"
These screams came from the Hussaini (as) tents as the forces of Umar Ibn e Saad entered the tents of Imam Hussain (as) after they had killed all of the men of Bani Hashim including Imam Hussain (as). The extent of helplessness and despair these ladies must have felt. All the day they received blood ridden bodies of their dear beloveds and now their tents were set ablazed, their belongings were scattered, their veils were torn and their children were either missing in the battlefield, or killed due to trampling or fear. Many children died during shab e ashoor and many more died during the movement from Koofa to Shaam. But on Ashoor, post asr, when the opposition rolled their drums to declare their temporary victory, the egos of the oppressors were boosted so much that their extent of crimes was endless. They resorted to fear, race, and ridicule of the weak (women and children) to entertain themselves after a long day of butchery in the service of Ibn e Marjana (la) and Yazeed (la).
So when the voices reached a very mutilated and bruised body on Euphrates calling their "Kafeel", the bank of Euphrates saw a momentary intense current in the flow of Euphrates….
O Kafeel! Abal Fadhl (as)! Where are you?

One mother who got pale and thin in grief of her son, the son who was the reflection of Prophet (saww) in character, in speech, in features, and in eloquence.
One mother who could not leave the burnt wood of bassinet kept the pieces of burnt bassinet wood close to her chest. She never dared sit under the shade because her infant's head was raised on spear and her toddler 4 year old girl was deprived of shade when camels raced from Karbala to Shaam.
One mother who neither cried over martyrdom nor received the heads of sons after Karbala because she was the one who was morning her brother Hussain (as) and her brother Abbas (as) and her nephew Ali Akbar (as). She was the one shielding imamate from the brunt of Yazeed. She was telling people about Hussain (as) so she dared not speak about her sons.
One mother who didn't even see her two slain sons killed in kofa and their bodies drowned in Euphrates.
One mother who received the pieces of her thirteen year old son who was trampled whilst still alive.
One mother who saw her son fight Yazidis and then get slained his head severed on spot and tossed towards the tents so she tossed the head back saying "what we present as sadqa in the court of Lord we do not dare receive it back.."
One mother saw her child trampled beneath the hooves of camel and she couldn't move to save the child because her hands were tied to her neck while she was enslaved with the rest and was paraded on the way to Shaam.
And above all…. One mother… Who was clearing the land of Karbala from pointy rocks and stones for 08 days… whose face shimr saw when striking the final three strikes of sword on the head of Imam Hussain (as). Whose face hurmala saw when he wanted to aim at Asghar's (as) throat. Who held the chest of Akbar (as) when her son pulled out the broken spear from his son's chest. Who wailed and lamented each time her son picked the severed arms until he came to Euphrates. Who was the only one watching her son throw blood from his mouth when his neck was being severed from the back so she was asking the killer to stop for she had raised her son with so much love that he was innocent and he was thirsty…Who is still searching for ways to heal the 1900 arrow wounds and uncountable sword and spear wounds of her son. Who is waiting for the justice of Allah. Who is still in Karbala lamenting...

Battle of Imam Hussain (as)
When Nadeem Sarwar wrote this in one of the latmiyah (noha) lyrics he wasn't wrong:
Bolay Ali (as) Hussain (as) ho ab bhi hawas main? Aesi TU Jang hum na laray bhook o piyas main
(ALI (as) asked Hussain (as) it is remarkable that after all you have been through you are still fighting the oppressors with such vigour and strength albeit being thirsty and hungry for three days - that is how come weakness has not yet over powered you!)
Tumblr media
Maqtal writes about the battle Imam Hussain (as) made and what is surprising is that many yazidi historians also write about Imam Hussain (as) final battle on Ashura! Words may not have enough potential to describe his fence and defense. Only perhaps to explain some gist in broken way is that Imam Hussain (as) loved Allah, Allah's Prophet (saww), Allah's religion, and Allah's Wali (as) so much that albeit the extent of adversity that one person could go through and a never ending array of heinous acts by the yazidis that could shatter one person mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, Imam Hussain (as) remained ever more affirm on his stance. Therefore, when he arrived in the battlefield and when he saw that only defense and fence is left he made his advance. His first advance shattered the central command of yaidis and disrupted their entire alignment so much that some ran to escape and hit the gates of the adjoining city Koofa! To capture this maqtal writes,
"The yazidis flee as if the grass hoppers skipping here and there aimlessly!"
Maqtal also writes that there are moments in Ashura when Imam Hussain (as) during his battle halted his advance and he alone was in the battle field because the yazidis were so afraid that they could dare not approach. While Imam Hussoan (as) halted maqtal says he was speaking to Allah (swt), the raaz o niaz. Meanwhile Umar IBN e Saad used to increase promises of bounties so his puppet, soul less army started to attack again, and this went on for a while.
Maqtal also says that one of the beauty of Imam Hussain (as) attacks was his devotion to Allah and the way he was remembering his Lord so he reiterated,
"By Allah, for Allah, no strength except Allah"
The skies had no Hijab that day therefore the Lord of Universes Himself witnessed Hussain (as) revert back lacs of army that stood against Allah's Deen and his Prophet (saww)! Therefore, Allah (swt) also sent His praise to Imam Ali (as) and Bibi Sayeda (sa) again on Ashura and He spoke to the angels who had formerly asked Allah (swt) to topple the Earth like He (swt) had done before when transgressors exceeded their limits and spread fitna and oppression. So Allah (swt) spoke,
"Praise on Hussain (as) and my salutations on Hussain (as) and his ancestors for verily they are the ones fulfilling their promise and I shall also render my promise to them!"
And then when it was time to deliver the promise by Mola Hussain (as) and the world was no longer suitable to be an abode for such a magnificent and loved soul, Allah (swt) spoke again:
“O tranquil soul!
Return to your Lord, well pleased ˹with Him˺ and well pleasing ˹to Him˺.
So join My servants,
and enter My Paradise.” (Surah Fajar 27 to 30)
Imam Hussain (as) when he heard that the Lord (swt) himself awaits his return, he ceased his sword.
Ibrahim (as) when he was being oppressed by Namrood and when he was asked what he thought about burning in the fire and dying he said, "Why delay meeting a dear friend (Allah)?"
Imam Hussain (as) was from Khalil ullah Hazrat Ibrahim's (as) generation and he remained affirm on the words of Khalil ullah (as) therefore, he responded to Allah's call in the following words while ceasing his attacks immediately and foregoing his sword,
"To Allah (swt) we belong and to Him (swt) we return."
And that was that. Yazidis slowly started overpowering Imam Hussain (as) until the point he was made a seive of wounds with blood oozing out of him and no form of attack remained that his soul did not receive. Stones, dust, rocks, spears, lances, swords, bludgeon and what not? And what is ahead is the worst of worst in the chequered past of so called Muslim history which… is the masaib of shahadat.

Tonight Ali (as) waits for the dawn in restlessness. He moves in and out of his house to behold the vastness of sky and it's depth, waiting for the time of prayers. He cannot sleep. He goes inside the house and prays and comes outside again to witness the sky, recites Yasin and goes inside to perform prayers again. Ali (as) is waiting for dawn. He has to wake his sleeping killer for Salah and lead Salah congregation one last time...
On 10th Muharram 61 hijri Hussain (as) will wait for the dawn in grief. He would request for one night time to pray. He would pray, perform prostration and recitation. Then he would go outside. Not to witness the sky but to witness the land of Karbala. He would visit each piece of the land where one of his beloved would fall from the horse and succumb to wounds. Hussain (as) is waiting for dawn. He has to wake the sleeping souls of Ummah toward monotheism and divinity of Allah (swt) and organize a congregation that worships amidst thousands of death threats stating an everlasting NO to oppression... Hussain (as) has to perform Salah and save Salah and humanity both...
Ali (as) inspects the sky on the night of 19th Ramadan where the stars shines until the day break. Ali (as) is waiting to be presented in the courtyard of Allah (swt).
Hussain (as) inspects the land of Karbala on the night of 10th Muharram where his beloveds the true stars would soon be laying dismembered. Allah (swt) is waiting for the return of Hussain (as) in His courtyard "pleasing and well pleased" (surah fajar).
The definition of success and it's essence is between the life lived by both and the wait that night before their martyrdom.

How Much Bruised Was Abbas (as)?
Hazrat Abbas (as) head was shattered. The buldgeon attack split open his head, the arrow in his left side pierced his skull. This is the reason why his head was so broken it wouldn't be raised on spear so it was tied to the neck of the horse by shimr and his forces.

2 Muharram 61 Hijri
Tumblr media
The caravan of Imam Hussain (as) was continuously followed by Ibn e Ziyad's troops from Makkah onwards. The caravan of Imam Hussain (as) reached the land of Karbala on 2 Muharram 61 hijri. Imam Hussain (as) before reaching Karbala told his companions:
"It seems that I will be killed in this venture (Is safar men main mar dia jaonga)." He told his companions about a dream he had that day that he was being chased by the hounds who wanted to attack and harm him and one hound in particular which had white spots was more vicious in it's attacks."
When they reached the borders of Karbala Imam Hussain (as) horse stopped and did not move. When the horse did not move Imam Hussain (as) left the saddle and approached the ground. He inquired about the name of the land from passers by and recited,
" اِنَّا لِله وَ اِنَّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ "Verily, this is the land that my grandfather told me about, this is the place that was promised."
He bought the land and asked Hazrat Abbas (as) to set the tents. The caravan stopped. Maqtal writes that the glow on the face of Imam Hussain (as) increased as he arrived on Karbala. Imam Hussain (as) examined the land and went on it's far and near plains (nashaib or Faraz). He used to stop at a spot, shed some tears, look at the sky and move ahead. He repeated this act several times until he reached the deepest spot on Karbala. He spotted a lady in black veil wailing while removing rocks from that piece of land.
Imam Hussain (as) who had stopped at a distance shedding tears was followed by his son Ali Akbar (as) who viewed the same sight and asked who was the lady and what was she doing? Imam Hussain (as) cried and said that,
"That is your grandmother the lady of the heavens who had descended from Heavens on Karbala tonight. That spot on the land is where I will fall from the back of the horse and where I will be beheaded soon. She is removing rocks from that place where I will fall."
The heavens did not fall and the earth did not stop moving when these words were said however the heavens and earth and all that is in it bore witness the Patience of the heart of Imam Hussain (as). He was ready to sacrifice all he had for Allah (swt). His tears were not because he was to be killed but for the state of affairs that had led to threaten tauheed and the essence of Islam.
Tonight is the first night of Imam Hussain (as) and his children and friends in Karbala. The present tense is used because as per parallel time theory of science Karbala again is writing itself the way it happened in 61 hijri and the children of Imam Hussain (as) are witnessing the rise of troops, spears and swords around them. The pain of being spatially and temporally restricted to not reach the dear beloved is a grief that eats away the soul.

"He who recites TO ALLAH WE BELONG AND TO HIM WE SHALL RETURN at the time when he is struck by grief has no barrier between him and the heaven." Huzoor Saww.
I read this Hadith and thought that what immense grief my Imam Hussain (as) had felt when he saw the pierced throat of Ali Asghar (as) and what big a catastrophe presenting this pierced throat to the mother of the infant had been that he recited inna Lillah 07 times while pacing to and fro in front of the tent of Bibi Umm e Rabab (sa).
Salutation of the day and night on the heart of Imam Hussain (as). ❤️

ABBAS'S SACRIFICE
O SELF! AFTER HUSSAIN YOU ARE NOTHING AND AFTER HUSSAIN (AS) THERE IS NOTHING…
Tumblr media
These eyes, I need them not because they saw the plight of my Master Hussain (as) from the break of dawn. These eyes they saw my Imam Hussain (as) unravel the true slithering nature of the world while he got bruised. These eyes have seen the master of HEAVENS and Earth to shed tears on Ashura. I must sacrifice those eyes which saw Hussain (as) in grief when the Prophet (saww) did not like seeing Hussain (as) in grief.
This head, this head must be sacrificed because this head would not be in place when the head of master would receive 13 strikes from the knife of Shimr. My head should be sacrificed on the head of Hussain (as)!
These hands, they must be sacrificed. How I may keep the hands when the hands of my master lady Zainab (as) be tied in ropes. If after me the hands of children of Rasool Allah (saww) are to be tied in ropes then I must sacrifice my hands on their calamity.
This self, this self should be scattered on the plane of Karbala because the flowers of the garden of my master Lady Zehra (sa) got scattered on this land on Ashura and when I would not remain, the bits of my Master would lay barren on this land. What is self when my Imam Hussain (as) is no more?
This chest, this chest should be broken because it breathed the blood stench of Karbala when the children of Bani Hashim were butchered. This chest breath the blood smell of the progeny of Rasool Allah (saww) and it must be sacrificed.
This spine, this spine should shatter… When my Imam Hussain (as) is sacrificing his all today I must sacrifice every bit of me on this sacrifice of my master Hussain (as). This spine should shatter because this being did not quench the thirst of my master and his kids.
Abbas (as) fida e Hussain (as)

Sayeda (sa) and Sakina (sa)
Tumblr media
There are a number of similarities between Lady Sayeda (sa) and her grand daughter, the toddler Sakina (sa). Their hearts beat for Imam Hussain (as). Bibi Sayeda (sa) loved both her sons. Her attachment with Imam Hussain (as) was extra ordinary. So much so that on her death bed she asked Imam Ali (as) to take care of all her children and also requested to be extra attentive towards Imam Hussain (as). She and her father the messenger of Allah (saww) did not bear to see Imam Hussain (as) cry. Bibi Sakina (sa) had similar attachment with Imam Hussain (as) who was her father. She would become restless if she did not find him close or a longer span of time had passed in the day where she did not hear his voice. Especially noticeable is the fact that she slept on the chest of her father that is she slept to the sound of his heart beat.
It is as if to say that she was accustom to the qalb of Imam Hussain (as) in similar fashion as was Rasool Allah (saww) or Bibi Sayeda (sa). Therefore, in one Book about this toddler of Imam Hussain (as), it is written that when bibi Sakina (sa) witnessed the beheading of her father she witnessed it as if from the eyes of Rasool (saww) and the heart of Sayeda (sa). Therefore, entailed a deep and sorrowful lamenting and wailing, constant yearning and restlessness until she was martyred. Crying is another similarity between the grandmother and the granddaughter. Both cried for the same reasons stated below:
- while it is superficially told that Bibi (sa) cried because of the demise of the Prophet (saww) deeper reasons are ignored or hidden purposefully. The books reflect and state that she cried to awaken the sleeping souls of the people of Medina and identify the injustice inflicted upon her father by the people who sabotaged religion and everything about Huzoor (saww) during his life. How her father was martyred and how the principles of Allah were being trampled mercilessly and fearlessly by the transgressors. While the crying of Lady Sayeda (sa) was on the sorrowful beginning of trampling of faith and teachings of Rasool (saww), the crying of Sakina (sa) was on the severity and gravity of this cancer that was rotting the foundations of Islam and much more. Bibi Sayeda (sa) cried so that people of Medina did not forget that the messenger from Allah had just been between them and soon after they had done worst of injustice and denied the rights and merits of his progeny. Bibi Sakina (sa) cried to let people know that her father was not the uprising to tople the govt as the then yazidi forces were propogating this misconception. She told people of how the grandson of Rasool (saww) was butchered with no reason and her wails unmasked soon the manipulation of the drunk on power caliphate of Yazid and it's money puppets mullas who issued fatwas allowing the killing of the innocent grandson of the Prophet (saww).
Both the grandmother and the granddaughter are revolutionary and ignite a storm of truth, unmasking the hidden agendas of perpetrators who acted as the forces to dilute religion, dismantle tauheed, and disrespect the divinity of Wilayat. Therefore, ummat decided to oppress both in similar way. Crying was banned for both. It is said the the first Caliph issued orders to tell Sayeda (sa) to cry quietly and at the time of night so that none could hear her wails as her crying (as per him) was disturbing the peace of Medina. While, bibi Sakina (sa) was a toddler so she was slapped and tormented to hush her sobs. Bibi Sayeda (sa) was martyred and died with broken ribs. Bibi Sakina (sa) was martyred and died with a broken heart. Literally, a four year old toddler had heart attack because of grief!
Muslims ... Should reflect deeply upon this.
PS: I also publish maqtal write ups on that page:

"It is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts." Al Quran
There were people who recited Quran and Hadith with so much fluency and so less eloquence and no understanding. Perhaps for such people Huzoor (saww) said that there would come a time when Quran would just be a matter on their tongue but won't go further below the neck to their hearts. Asr time on Ashura was the moment in the CHEQUERED history of Islam where there were thousands of eyes eager to witness the head of the grandson of Rasool Allah (saww) severed. Some of these eyes and shallow, soul less bodies were witnessing from a far because they had done their part. They had bruised and butchered the blood of the Holy Household. They had propelled Imam Hussain (as) to extensive blood loss which was making his breath uneven and his eyes lose vision. He was prostrating on the ground while 40 other soulless and more barbaric creatures were surrounding him, tormenting him more and more. Stones and pebbles, arrows and spears, and what not was being thrown at him. They were ridiculing and laughing, they were harassing and hurting the one being for whom Allah and his angels sent salutations and durood.
Only two eyes and one heart (other then the widows and children of the holy Household) were better than any of those sick, barbaric, and ignorant worst than the people who killed the camel of Nooh (as), or severed the head of Yahya (as).... The eyes and the heart of the horse of Imam Hussain (as)! This horse shed tears and defended Imam Hussain (as) from attacks when the yazidis encircled him when he fell from the saddle to the ground. The ways in which this horse protected Imam Hussain (as) from the barbaric attacks of Muslims are soul shattering. He ran in circles so that dust of Karbala would rise from the ground around the wounded Imam so that the enemy would not be able to see and hurt him more. They started attacking from arrows and spears so he stood tall in front of Imam Hussain (as) so that none of the arrows could reach him. The Muslims then sent men armed on horses so that they attacked from the right and tried to hold zuljinnah's reign from the left. So Zuljinnah rose his front two hooves and attacked from his head and trampled the attacker. It is reported that he killed as many as 40 attackers while defending Imam Hussain (as) until he was chased far from Imam Hussain (as) after which he ran towards the Hussaini camps with his forehead crimson in blood and eyes full of tears and he wailed at the tent of Sakina (sa).
Ashura, the day where one horse alone recognized the merits and eminence of the grandson and the holy Household of Rasool (saww) while Muslims denied him of his due respect, rights and merits. For me this horse is better than every so called Muslims who attacked Imam HUSSAIN (as) and who intended to attack, facilitated the attacks, and witnessed the attacks but did not do anything to stop the brutal genocide. Who you think Huzoor (saww) would have been pleased with more? The killer Muslims or the defending horse? That's right. We pay continuous aloofness and disgust from such Muslims, the people who gave birth to such illegitimate Muslims who killed Imam Hussain as and people who raised such transgressors.

TOPIC: GOD MADE ALI AKBAR (AS) FOR IMAM HUSSAIN (AS)
Tumblr media
Ali Akbar (as) was slightly taller than Imam Hussain (as). One of the blessings that Imam Hussain (as) received from Allah was that he had Ali Akbar (as) as his son. After Huzoor (saww) Imam Hussain (as) used to feel melancholic because his soul could not find the kind embrace of Rasool e Kareem (saww). His deep longing to have a glimpse of the merciful face of his grandfather was addressed by Allah so Allah blessed him with a son who was, as per the exact words of all historians consensus:
"A reflection of the Prophet Muhammad (saww) in his personality and character."
Allah u Akbar! What elevated ranks must be the parents of Ali Akbar (as) that God had made the features, the speaking, the personality, the character, the piety a complete reflection of His Habib (saww). So the great grandson was as if the reminder to people being astray that not long ago there came a Prophet (saww) to you from this tribe to make you shun your disgraceful ignorance and invited you toward the supreme Deen.
It is said that Ali Akbar (as) and Hazrat Abbas (as) were the most handsome of Bani Hashim tribe and people would flocked to meet or greet them. One such event is reported when a Christian who was healed by Huzoor Pak (saww) came to medina after years in search of Huzoor (saww) long after his demise. He was looking for him when he met Imam Hussain (as) and asked,
"By any means do you have connection with this person? (Then he described the appearance of nabi Kareem (saww). He asked Imam Hussain (as) be ause he found close resemblance of Huzoor (saww) with the face of Imam Hussain (as)).
Imam Hussain (as) smiled and took him to his home where he asked Ali Akbar (as) to come and see this man. Then he asked the man, "Was the one who healed you looked like him?"
The man cried when he looked at Ali Akbar (as) and he said, "By God, I was healed by his miracle." Imam Hussain (as) explained to him that the person who healed h was prophet (saww) himself and this young boy is his great grandson. And then he smiled and looked at Ali Akbar (as) and said,
"My eyes find peace because whenever I miss my grandfather I look at Ali Akbar (as) and he reminds me of the sweet memories of my grandfather."
As if in some way he had a piece of Rasool Akram (Saww) with him. And surely because the marifat, ibadat, piousness, and innocence of Ali Akbar (as) was the same.

One night to pray.
To recite Quran.
To supplicate.
But why?
Death is inevitable and what is more honorable then dying for Tawheed. To defend Tawheed Imam Hussain (as) requested to have the battle postponed on the day break.
I wonder why he did so. There must be many reasons because I am not too pious or well learned to understand the mashiyat e Imam or hikmat e Imam but what my heart answers is as follows.
- One night to pray because he is yet to test the loyalty of his companions and let the world know that the people who had agreed to kill him were aloof from the knowledge of two main components left by Huzoor (saww): Quran and Itrat. Now since there are certain scholars who support Quran and Hadith then if we take this as reference still it is as clear as beacon that the people who gathered to kill Imam Hussain (as) had nothing to do with Hadith and both Quran and Hadith were just tools to advance their personal and political gains.
As per the Hadith about the recitation and merits of recitation of Al Quran Huzoor (saww) says, "There are two types of Qaris (reciters) of Quran. One are the ones who when open Quran to read Quran sends blessings and salutation on them and when they recite Quran reaches their heart! Others are the ones that when they open Quran to recite, the Quran makes itself aloof from them (their spirit) and does not send blessing or salutation on them, rather sends curses. These are the people who recite Quran but the Quran never reaches their heart and soul and stays only on their tongue."
Two points in this hadith. Al Quran is shifa and the access of this shifa is not to everyone. So, the question comes who gets salutation from the Quran and who gets curses?
Well, see the night time requested by Imam Hussain (as) to supplicate, pray, and recite Quran. The narrator from opposition reports that the Hussaini camps were humming in the depth of the night of ninth muharram and when one went close to hear the humming was recitation and qirat. While, it is also reported that the majority in the yazidi forces were Qaris and Hafiz e Quran who were making their swords sharp for the next day butchery. One night span to further clarify the Hadith that Quran sends salutations on the reciter who recognizes the merits of risalat and the holy progeny and respects them. While those who receive curses from Quran are the ones reflecting yazidis. They can be Hafiz but be the fuel of hell fire because their heart does not tremble while conducting oppression or injustice. That point is so self explanatory that I am going to leave it there.
- Postponing battle on the day break so that the future supporting historians of yazidis should not dare say that in the night time they did barbarism and excessive mutilation of the grandson of Rasool Allah (saww) in state of confusion because they attacked wherever they deemed due to the darkness. No. Each and every wound inflicted on ABA Abdillah (as) and his companions and children was consciously chosen and planned. There was no confusion. There were sentences such as this statement from Umar Ibn e Sad, " Bear witness that I am trampling the body of Hussain (as). Bear witness and tell Ameer so that he be pleased and fulfills his promise to me."
Therefore, each disrespect was an act of hatred and vengeance done to pleas Yazid and Ibn e Ziyad and to collect bounties from them. The battle happened in day time so none shall accuse thst this battle was just a conflict. It was a planned genocide and an act of tyranny towards the Hashimis and children of Rasool (saww). In day light they saw who came for the one on one duel and they miscomitted and collectively gathered to kill then torture then kill then mutilate the progeny of Rasool Kareem (saww).
