#i would say dan lewis probably had the most chill experience running w the doctor #of the nuwho besties #like okay to be fair i dont remember a whole lot of details from flux but i think everybody he loves is still pretty alive #diane did get put through the ringer LMAO she was cool tho! wish we could have gotten more screen time w her tbh #cause i was thinking like #well i was thinking like if i was the doctors companion how much would it ruin my life vs how much would it 'improve' >/ #it* #like seeing all those things that are amazing and terrible and like the sheer confusion and fear and wonder that always seems to come w #traveling w them #but then its like ofc its dangerous and would it put my family in danger. and to what extent like what happened w the jones family is #horrifying to think about #and how well equipped (emotionally and psychically) am *i* to deal with all of that (probably not very) #and then one day either i die or the doctor leaves or like whatever. like anything could happen and would my family even know #like oh god did 12 ever tell bills mom ????? about bill????? like jesus #well i dont know where i was going w this. but its scary to think about being completely lost on another #planet or in another time or universe or whatever and just. what happens to the people left behind? #this is supposed to be a FUN SCI FI SHOW #(it never was)
