ndcw is so tragic to me bc they took one of my favorite things in the world (nancy drew) and combined it with more of my favorite things in the world (murder mystery, supernatural elements) but then ruined Everything in just a matter of episodes

#it getting cancelled was the best news to Me #off the bat calling ned nick was a red flag to me but so way george not being a lesbian #*was #but anyway after they broke up ned and nancy and then didnt even let them try to get back together it was downhill for me #i still like s1 but when they started introducing the ned/george relationship 🤢 #like sorry theyre best friends. and george is a lesbian #and dont even get me started on all the relationships they put nancy in but n*ce especially . FUCK n*ce always and forever #i was popping major bottles when they killed off owen in s1 i wanted ace to die so bad in the s3 finale bc i hate him sm #i liked him at first but n*ce made me hate his guts #at least i have solace in the fact that n*ce shippers only get this show while nedcy is forever canon and has been for nearly 100 years #in every other iteration of nancy drew <333 #also in s4 if they reveal ace is actually joe hardy i Will commit acts of insane violence. thats MY boy get the fuck away from him #im very rarely a multishipper but i hate nancy/either of the hardy boys (but especially frank in the ndpc games) So much #its literally nedcy or bust for me idc #and it had a banger cast too. like kennedy tunji leah and maddison SLAYED as their respective characters. like they were perfect #the writers just fumbled and flopped BIG time #anyway the version of nd that exists in my head you will always be famous. ill write that fic ive been planning for years eventually #r.txt
