savannah beat you to L, anon!! I posted it right here!!

but hecK YES MISA

What they smell like:

goodness :))

which is surprising bc she’s Not Good

she actually rotates through several perfumes

she has one that smells like vanilla and L always comments on how nice it is so she tries to wear it once when she thinks light’s not paying enough attention to her bc she saw on a tv show once that if you dig a guy and he’s not attentive, that you should make him jealous, so she tried to get L to compliment her all day

instead, she just became better friends with L

light never noticed

once, she swaps out that same vanilla perfume with light’s cologne bc she’s trying to pull a prank on him and tease him a little bc that’s what friends do! she wants to be friends w him!!

he gets Mad

L, however, asks for a bottle for himself and soon, they’re all smelling like vanilla

soichiro tiredly asks them to stop bc matsuda’s on the verge of an allergic reaction

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):

she sleeps all curled up, like L does, and she likes to nap, too. When she’s on the road touring, she sleeps mostly during the day but it’s okay bc the light doesn’t bother her

What music they enjoy:

hard rock!!

screamo!

goth and emo!

metal!

but also BUBBLEGUM POP!

it makes for an interesting mix in the music she writes

but honestly, she likes everything

as a musician herself, she’s super well versed in music theory and all sorts of classics. she can appreciate everything

once, light makes a comment about how he played the trumpet for a month in middle school and misa accidentally infodumps about the history of the trumpet and the kind of colors it can bring to a piece and how she’s thinking about adding some trumpet in this new song she’s writing because it’d be so unexpected and also cool and band stuff is so, like, rich in sound, so do you think I should add this high G in trumpet in this next rock piece, what kind of like, meaning would that have in the song??

and light’s like ‘uhh’ and he mostly gets really salty that there’s something she knows more about than him. she hopes he’ll educate himself in order to try to one-up her like he does with L bc then, they can be friends and on some level, she can interact w him, but he doesn’t

she does end up adding the trumpet in that song and it becomes a hit and light never notices, but L does

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:

depends!! sometimes, she’ll do her hair for ages or think about what dress to wear and try on a bunch of different stuff and take forever, but sometimes, she’ll throw on an oversized ACDC t-shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans with chains in them and like, a black and red flannel and call it good and the tabloids go CRAZY over how good she looks

Their favorite thing to collect:

vinyls!!

and CDs, bc CDs were still a thing way back when. I collected CDs way back when!!

She also likes to collect band merch, hers and others, and a shirt from every single concert she’s ever been to

she has, like 50+ concert shirts

Religion (if any):

she also subscribes to the Light Yagami Is God religion, but the funny thing is, she doesn’t actually like… ever refer to him as god in canon, i don’t think. she calls herself a kira supporter, but not a kira worshiper. she sees him as a person, just a person doing a thing she thinks is good. she doesn’t seem him as godly necessarily, she sees him as human enough, fallible enough. not to say she doesn’t put him on a pedestal or prioritize his personal sense of twisted justice, she just doesn’t go around calling him god or anything.

this probably ticks him off a little

but she wants to be his friend, you know, his equal. they can’t be equals and friends if he’s god and she’s just misa

Favorite sport:

she’s not sporty

she likes to dance!! she’s done all sorts of dance stuff

she did soccer in kindergarten like everyone else but she was the kid who sat down in the corner and picked dandelions the whole time

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):

she likes to sight see!!! she also likes to see concerts and performances where ever she goes

she likes to see music performances and art galleries of local or traditional art and music bc it’s something she has a rly strong base knowledge in and that she finds interesting

Favorite kind of weather:

sun! but she also likes rain and storms bc they’re dramatic >:D

she tries to get Light and L to go out in the rain with her once and Light only agrees after something like a stroke of pity and he stands there with her while she splashes in puddles and then dramatically pretends she’s at a funeral or that she has magic water powers and light says her hair dye is going to wash out

it’s not, it’s permanent and she tells him that and then tries to playfully slap her cold, wet hands on his cheeks

he dodges and she slips and ends up butt-first in a deep puddle

she gets a terrible cold but she had a fun time!!

A weird/obscure fear they have:

of course, the regular, explainable fears. that she and light will be caught and killed. that the world has abandoned her before and that it will again. that more people close to her will die senselessly. that no one loves her or really cares about her

but she also hates clowns, like HATES clowns

she tries to explain the idea of clowns to ryuk once bc, i mean, you guys know. youve seen him. you know what he looks like.

he doesn’t get it so she gives up

shes not scared of him at all, but the resemblance did unsettle her a little when she first met him. she just tried not to let either light or ryuk know bc she didn’t want to offend them

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:

she has real good luck at the one where you have to like, pick a rubber duck and see the number or whatever on the bottom

she’s just lucky!!

plus, sometimes the folks behind the counter take sneak peeks and give her hints bc her cuteness charms them
