i finallyyyyyyyyy start working at one of my jobs this week.

and then i start another one in early/mid april.

it's a meager income to start with. nowhere near what i was making pre-plauge (which was nowhere near what i'd been making before the county school system fucked me over🙃). but the wages are higher than i've ever gotten from any other place i've worked with, though those other places gave me more hours. i'll be getting $40/hr at one location and $50/hr at the other. the 40 one, so far, only has me scheduled for one hour a week. the 50 one, i think, has me scheduled for about 4 hours?

so monthly, i should be in the range of like $960/month*, which is nowhere near enough to live, but it's also one fucking hell of a step up from 0/month.

anyway,

apparently one of the companies hosts weekly hikes (or is it monthly? idk, but they're a regular occurrence) as lil social events for the employees and i sooooooooooooooooo hope i wind up actually liking my coworkers so then i will FINALLYYYYY have friends i can go hiking with😭
