#literally. love the black eagles students. fuckin HATE this route #i GET where edelgard is coming from re. tortured backstory and corrupt institutions #but the violence of it all #normally i love sad backstory does crimes. but she tramples EVERYONE in her path #and the other two routes are RIGHT there! dimitri is perfect sad boi does crimes #but feels Bad about it. and cares for his ppl #there has to be an element of atonement and redemption #and edelgard just doesnt have one and it srives me insane. her ending is just like. yes i will start a war in the name of my ideals #and she should not be vindicated for it!!! #the things i do for a pathetic white man..... smh #i finished azure gleam yesterday and it was just. clenches fist. so good #we love a depressed goodhearted monster king #and FELIX MY BELOVED he really shone in this one as the duke #and dimis righthand man
